Recomiendo !
Great food for a decent price. We visited the place with a baby and they brought us back to a quiet place. Really thoughtful. The food was really good and quick service
Not to be missed. Second visit here did not disappoint. Consistently great food and friendly service. Both times i had the braised beef cheeks - cos i couldn't get the first visit out of my head. Staff are attentive and both times the wait staff had great english, and they also have a menu in English, which i was grateful for. Lots of outdoor seating with heating in winter to enjoy the ambience of the Alemeda de Hercules, as well as indoor seating and a clean bathroom. Thanks to the chefs and service staff.
Had lunch, was busy but staff were very attentive and we were served quickly. We had a plate of tomatoes, swordfish, pork cheeks, Spanish omelette and a beer each. All of the food was excellent and served promptly. Total cost was €34.
Very nice staff, amazing food, very fast service. You never wait more then 5 minutes for your food. I recommend this place! You will have to meet paco, he is an amazing waiter, very funny and kind Person!
I got there every morning for a take away coffee con leche. After the first morning we were already friends and from there on I was greated as a local every morning. So warm so lovely. We had our last tapas dinner here as well. An extra table was set up for us outside in two seconds. The food was delicious so were the drinks. I love this pleace because of the friendly staff and the good food. Any time again. Will miss my friendly mornings here.
A proper Spanish tapas restaurant on the wide pavement in a busy street. Spanish relaxed service . The food however comes almost immediately after ordering and every thing on the menus is fresh and high quality. Tried some amazing dishes . Come as taps half or full portion. Great seafood. Our favourite dishes a potatoe dish. The swordfish and.potatoes. good house white and beer.
Nestled in the vibrant heart of La Alameda de Hércules, Seville, The Restaurant Las Columnas stands as a testament to the rich culinary traditions and lively spirit of the city. Known formally as "Las Columnas," this iconic establishment has long been a favored destination for both locals and visitors, offering a genuine taste of Andalusian culture. The Navarrete family, in their pursuit of a unique and memorable dining experience, found themselves drawn to the colorful square of La Alameda, renowned for its eclectic mix of eateries and vibrant nightlife. Among the many competitors striving to offer the best of Seville's cuisine, Las Columnas shines with its unpretentious charm and delectable offerings. Established many decades ago, Las Columnas has become a staple of Sevillian dining, expertly combining traditional tapas with a modern flair. The restaurant's name, meaning "The Columns," is attributed to the historical architectural features that adorn its facade, giving it a distinctive and recognizable presence in the bustling square. Patrons of Las Columnas are treated to an array of exquisite dishes that highlight the flavors of the region. Whether it’s the savory jamón ibérico or the delicate gambas al ajillo, each plate tells a story of Andalusia’s culinary heritage. The atmosphere within Las Columnas is lively and welcoming, inviting guests to relax and enjoy their meals amidst the laughter and chatter of fellow diners. Beyond its culinary excellence, Las Columnas is also a place where the spirit of community and camaraderie thrives. It serves as a meeting spot for friends, families, and travelers alike, fostering connections over shared plates and stories. For the Navarrete family, Las Columnas was the perfect conclusion to their day in Seville—a place where they stopped seeking and simply started savoring. In a city where competition for the best dining experience is fierce, Las Columnas truly stands out as "everything" one could desire in a restaurant: a harmonious blend of tradition, taste, and the timeless vibrancy of Seville.
We were nine and super hungry! We made areservation since we know that this place is always packed! We arrived there in time and 4 tabels were put together. We tasted two wines, just a sip so we can decide which we shall order. All of us had various dishes which were served quickly and with abundant portions! Sancho and Jesus definitely contributed to the wonderful impressions were are taking with us from Las Columnas!!! Strongly recommend. Terrace is huge, but the service is neverthess impeccable! Bravo!
Ate here twice for late lunch and always busy. Staff are very friendly and efficient and food we chose both days was excellent . Drinks were so fast, all dishes we had were perfect - unless you are really hungry make sure to order tapas size as they are very generous portions! Paella Mixta at 20 EU was really good flavour. Only downside was being an outside bar with lots of people there was constant cigarette smoke while we ate… not the bars fault of course just gross when eating.
Lucky to find a table at this place for lunch on Saturday. A very busy place. Food was so great and with a reasonable price. The meet dish was so good and the need was very well cooked and tender. The spinach dish had some tomato paste in it which made it more delicious. Fried fish dish was so good and the potato dish was so yum.
Without doubt one of the places you have to visit, either for a drink, tapas, or dinner. The place is hectic as this is where local folk go to meet, eat and drink. Why? The food is excellent as are the beers and sherries and most of all the prices are the best around as this place, even though it’s in the heart of the tourist area it charges local prices. The staff are great, friendly and funny and helpful. A place I will always return to when in the wonderful city of Seville.
Recommended by our hotel, we decided to try this restaurant – and we couldn’t be happier with the choice. Far from regretting it, we had a truly memorable experience. The food is authentic, local, …
An unassuming Tapas Restaurant, but the food was fabulous. Cauliflower, which was so tasty, as was the spinach and chick peas. Followed by a sumptuous oxtail. So simple, so good.

The place is right in the centre, very good local food, very cheap and affordable price. We tried different local food for dinner, they were all good size, tasty, loved it.
We had the hot plates, pork and veal, very good and fast serving, great service! Looking forward to be back

Tasty breakfast and working hours. Others cafe open in 10, this is working from 7 and little bit crowded. So testy breakfast and traditional Spanish flavors.

Calidad precio adecuados.
Very nice typical Andalusian tapas. You can choose from a potion, raciones or a plate. Thoroughly enjoyed the Calamari, Ham and Cheese croquettes, Anchoas etc. Good service with English speaking waiters also. Only reservation some people may find is that is very close to the road with fumes
Tried los Columnas for lunch. A very relaxed inexpensive tapas restaurant with many menu choices. An English menu is available. Good service. Would try again.

Staying across the road so we thought we’d give it a try for breakfast. We ordered the traditional tostados (bread with olive oil, puréed tomato and ham.) We’d already tried this in Cádiz and liked…
We stopped here after a trek thru the city for a beer, and decided to have a chicken sandwich and fries. After a month in Spain, this place by far had the coldest draft beer in the country.
Great authentic place - loved that there were so many locals in there. Good selection of tapas. Very reasonably priced.
breakfast was best so far in seville. rough diamond , buzzing with locals, not posh but had all great nosh. Great breakfast selection
Busy little cafe with well priced tapas, food was fresh and tasty, felt like a locals place. We had anchovies, patatas Bravas, croquettas and Russian salad, fab sangria too.
I was a bit disappointed with my experience here. The menu was available in several languages, including English and French, but it didn’t match what was actually being served. I ordered what I thought was salmon, but it turned out to be pork... which could be quite dangerous for someone with allergies or religious dietary restrictions. The asparagus dish was also underwhelming, especially compared to others I’ve had in Spain. When I mentioned the mistake they kindly offered me a free glass of wine which I appreciated. But by then, the damage had already been done. I honestly don’t really understand the hype about this place; I’ve had much better tapas elsewhere in Sevilla
Probably give it a miss! Sounds good, solomillo with 3 sauces & fries, Solomillo not too tasty, fries very dry. Not great value for money, many better places nearby to eat.
Great atmosphere, friendly service. All the locals congregate here and if you can catch a spot in the sun it’s very nice. Most likely, the place will be full and you’ll have to eat standing at the …
The tapas were pre-cooked and tasteless. The paella was burnt and poorly prepared. When we told the waiter that we didn’t like the food, he just laughed, and we simply paid. There was also a staff member shouting as if they were at a street market, and next to our table there was a small bin full of trash. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.
