Our first trip here and it won’t be our last. Best bang for the buck around for authentic Brazilian food and tons of meat options. The rebrand is very smart, changing pricing around to cater to more people is very smart. For $40 Mon-Thursday you can eat all the meat and salad bar you want. The cuts looked savory and juicy, the service is top notch, and the decor is amazing. Seriously, what are you waiting for? Go try this place out! RIP Fogo De Chao, you are no longer competitive. Even if you just get the salad bar, you won’t be disappointed. We will be back! It’s restaurant week right now, try it out for $25

I had an incredible dining experience at Sal e Brasa! The traditional Brazilian food was a true highlight, with every dish bursting with authentic flavors. The churrasco-style meats, cooked over an open flame on skewers, were perfectly prepared, and the parrilla cuts were just as impressive, showcasing Brazil’s rich culinary traditions. Even dining solo, I felt welcomed and valued thanks to the amazing service—attentive, friendly, and top-notch. The steak here is incredible. The baby steak and ribeye are both cooked perfectly. Ask for medium rare, thank me later… so damn good. The service is amazing too. I find myself coming here almost every week now!

I have been to so many Brazilian churascarias in my lifetime and hands down this is one of the best. The quality of meat here is top notch. Very soft buttery cuts of beef. The lamb was so well cooked and had good amounts of fat. From rare to well done everyone in your group can have the kind they want. For the meats I liked picanha, wagyu, garlic beef, top sirloin, and shrimp. The freshly made garlic bread was so delicious too! The unlimited cheese bread is a staple. Their salad bar and buffet is amazing as well. I particularly loved the lobster bisque with huge chunks of real lobster meat, beef empanadas, and chimichurri. They had such a variety of food that even vegetarians are able to eat here. The sushi bar is good too for seafood lovers. The manager or owner is going to every table and chatting with/tending to guests. We had a very pleasant Father's Day dinner. All in all I highly recommend Sal e Brasa to all locals and visitors. Come Mon-Thurs for $10 off weekend prices. PS. The women's restroom is immaculately clean. This speaks to the quality of a restaurant! PPS. Get a drink from Diego he makes the best cocktails and his service is top notch. He always makes sure we're taken care of and our table has a great night :)

I brought my aunt to celebrate the birthday here. We have Diego serve us. He is very nice and helpful - full of service mind. The food is really nice. And our favorite dessert is papaya creme. I will definitely come back.

As a first time dining experience it was wonderful. It is a great place to celebrate any special event just as we did for our anniversary. The atmosphere is great and the staff is professional and friendly. The price point is excellent for the amount of food provided by the restaurant. 5 stars 🌟

The Brazilian limeade was refreshing and full of flavor, the salad bar was fresh and abundant, and every side dish was spot-on. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable dining experience. We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Sal e Brasa and it was truly amazing! The food was exceptional—the meats were juicy and full of flavor, the sushi was great and different, and the salad bar was fresh. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere made our night even more special. Definitely one of the best restaurants in The Woodlands. Highly recommend!

We loved this restaurant, the food was amazing the meat was tender and perfectly cooked , great options, amazing salad bar , multiple options to choose from at a grace price amazing staff and friendly , they took care of us at every moment. The restaurant is so beautiful inside and outside , also very clean and cozy .

My daughter told us that she has eaten here several times and really enjoyed it. We decided to go with her and her husband. The establishment looked very nice. We were quickly seated. The staff was very nice. Our drinks came out, and the never ending Brazilian meats soon followed. The food was truly excellent. The presentation and taste could not have been better. The staff and manager checked on us to make sure the dining experience was perfect. There is also a buffet with salads, sushi, and to many items to list. I will say the bacon was very tasty. The manager went to all the tables making sure you had the meats you wanted. We found out that he is also a partial owner. He was probably the most visible manager that I have seen in a long time. The price was less than most Brazilian restaurants that we have been to in the past; however, the food was better than most we have been to. It would be very difficult for me to say which meat I liked the most because they all had there own unique taste. I did really like the lamb t-bone and ribeye. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing service by Diego and Tiani, beautiful relaxing atmosphere, they have sections and rooms that make it feel less crowded and more intimate and of course excellent food. Also the cappuccino was one of the best tasting I have ever had. This place is way far and above fogo de chao hands down. Perfect for anniversary, birthday or romantic dinner.

Edit: went back for my birthday this week, it was just as good as the first time. Our servers Amy & T were amazing! Thanks ladies. P.S. Creme brulee was delicious 😋 Can't wait to go back! Everything was delicious, the meats, their extensive salad bar, and their desserts with a cup of cappuccino of course. My favorite was the garlic Picanha and the Lamb sirloin both so juicy and tasty. Make sure to try their Lobster Bisque! The restaurant itself is beautiful inside very elegant their service is great all very attentive and pleasant ,makes for the perfect date night.

Fantastic restaurant with amazing food and great service. Even the owner served Jo’s customers. The salad bar was phenomenal with fresh salads, veggies cold cuts and cheese, sushi and sashimi, etc. The meat selections was unbelievable. They kept coming and coming with more food. Our favorite was Garlic Shrimp and Bottom Sirloin. Deserts were also delicious. Highly recommended. This place is 1st class

This was a great restaurant that fills the void left when Avenida Brazil closed close by. The ambiance is actually nicer with a vintage club vibe with great seating and layout. The buffet was amazing with great selection. There is also a return of the lobster bisque. Over all a great Brazilian steakhouse

I finally visited Sal e Brasa, and honestly, this place deserves all the hype and more. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, quick, and genuinely attentive , exactly what you expect from a good Brazilian steakhouse. The lobster bisque was the first thing that grabbed my attention. Creamy, rich, and surprisingly flavorful! I wasn’t expecting it to be that good. And then there’s the bacon… perfectly crisp, smoky, and absolutely addictive. If you go, don’t skip it! Of course, the star of the show was the meat selection. Their wagyu-style cuts were beautifully tender, well-seasoned, and cooked exactly the way I like it. Every pass brought something new to try, and each cut had its own unique flavor. The ribs, sirloin, chicken, everything was on point. Even the sides impressed me, especially the fried plantains, which had the perfect caramelized sweetness. And the grilled pineapple? A must-try. Pricing-wise, Sal e Brasa is extremely reasonable compared to similar steakhouses in The Woodlands, and the quality is honestly great for what you pay. Overall, it was such a good experience. I’m definitely coming back to!

I had an incredible experience with my husband for our 18 year Anniversary. The food was great! The meat was tender, melt in your mouth and great flavor. We were given a free dessert since we were celebrating our anniversary. All around a great experience.

Very nice atmosphere with awesome salad bar, but I went for the continuous variety of meat! Service was almost too good! The gauchos and wait staff were VERY attentive and kept the food coming. I have been to many Brazilian restaurants and this rates as my top! Mostly due to service, atmosphere, and price! $39.95 Monday- Thursday! A decent steak at any other restaurant costs just as much! And my favorite Cheese Balls were outstanding!

It was our first time here unplanned, no special occasion. We were just bored driving around and the establishment styling caught our attention. Walked in and was greeted with the upmost respect. We had many servers, all were professional and well mannered. The food was delicious. The salad bar with different unique foods were well presented, great quality in each selection. The bathroom was very clean and nice I love the dark ambience along with the smooth jazz in the background. My favorite selection was the lobster bisque, and the grilled cheese with honey Phenomenal experience.

Excellent food, customer service, and welcoming atmosphere. We love the wide selection of meat as well as the unique items in the salad bar that you might not find elsewhere: sushi, fried pork belly, salmon, pasta, empanadas, and much more. Great place for a date night. The capirinhas were tasty and we enjoyed the attentive service from Tahja and the various chefs grilling and cutting the meat.

We came to Sal e Brasa – The Woodlands for a company dinner and couldn’t have picked a better spot. We dined on a Wednesday night and took advantage of their Sunday through Thursday pricing at around $39.95 per person, which is an incredible value for the quality and abundance of food offered. The salad bar alone is impressive, featuring a generous selection of fresh items, deli meats, and even sushi. Everything was well stocked and beautifully presented. The table side service truly elevates the experience. The staff continuously brought a wide variety of perfectly cooked meats, each one seasoned and prepared to perfection. And do not miss the grilled cheese with honey. One of my family members declared it their favorite item of the night. Your plate is never empty, yet the staff is attentive without ever being intrusive. If you need a pause, the red and green card system makes it easy. Green means keep the meats coming, red means take a break. One of the standout features compared to other Brazilian steakhouses is the ambiance. The lighting is warm and classic, not overly bright, creating a relaxed and intimate dining atmosphere. It feels refined and comfortable rather than loud or overwhelming. The volume level is perfect for conversation, and it truly feels like a classy night out. The service was exceptional across the board. Drinks were consistently refilled, staff checked in at just the right times, and even the manager, Edgar, stopped by to ensure we were enjoying our experience. El mejor restaurante de carne en toda el área tienen el mejor buffet muy variado y fresco ,además de una amplia variedad de cortes y carnes mayor a la de los demás restaurantes de este tipo que allá citado en Houston y sus alrededores

After visiting Sal e Brasa 5 times in 2 weeks, I have to leave a review. The food is very good, great value for your money & the salad bar area is very appetizing from the sushi, chicarons, empanadas & everything else. My daughter is a picky eater going out & over here, she will eat it all. Major shoutouts to Obie, Diego, Tahja, Nicolas, Amy & the churrasco folks making sure the experience is smooth sailing & top-tier. I would definitely be back.

I liked it much more than Texas de Brazil. The salad bar was amazing — they even have sushi. My 9-year-old daughter loved it. The meats were flavorful, and we went on New Year’s Eve. Even though it was very crowded, we really enjoyed it. I definitely recommend it.

THANK YOU We decided to give Sal e Brasa Brazilian Steakhouse another try, and I’m so glad we did. This time, they showed us exactly what we should have experienced on our last visit. The waitress provided outstanding service, and the staff bringing the meat were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Eduardo was absolutely fantastic—he checked on us often and made sure everything was perfect. This visit was a complete turnaround and truly changed my mind. I loved every minute of it. Thank you, Sal e Brasa, for such a wonderful experience—I’m officially over-the-moon happy (and very full)!

Our 1st time here(early Valentines) and won’t be our last! We loved everything! From the service, the buffet, the meat choices and atmosphere. Everyone was super attentive and nice. This beats another Brazilian buffet we have gone to before by far. Way better selection for buffet as well- especially having Sushi and Lobster Bisque!

Better than Fogo by a mile. Better/bigger buffet. Better meats. Better prices. The cartoon logo / cow mascot is cheesy, but don’t let it scare you away. Quality food. Go there! So we don’t lose another restaurant to this hidden location.

Absolutely top tier food and for me, the price makes it even better. Flemings etc cost significantly more and do not have the quality of meats like this place. The service is top notch and the people are friendly, Madison made the experience so great on a Saturday evening. Ever since trying this place for the first time 2 months ago, I have been back 6 more times. It's that good.

Update: I want to thank Katie for contacting my husband and me to resolve the bad experience we had at their restaurant on Sunday, February 15. She went above and beyond to make it right, even making our reservations and adding a note that I prefer my meat well done. As soon as we stepped into the restaurant today, Sunday, February 22, the service was superb. They truly went above and beyond to make our visit pleasant, consistently asking if we needed anything and making sure we were comfortable. It reminded me of our very first visit on my birthday when we received great service. Eduardo, the managing partner, kept stopping by our table to ensure we had everything we needed. Now that is service. The entire staff who came to our table was excellent, and our waitress was outstanding. Thank you, Sal e Brasa, for addressing the issue and making our third visit such a pleasant experience. My family and I will definitely be back.

This Brazilian steakhouse is fantastic! The salad bar offers a wide variety of authentic Brazilian cozy foods and even sushi. The service was great, and the atmosphere was excellent. My family is very picky since we’re Brazilian American living in Texas and particular about our steakhouses, and they all approve this one. Desserts are also excellent, and the drinks are great. From the moment we walked in, the experience was top-tier. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable — exactly what you want in a true Brazilian steakhouse.The service was exceptional. The staff was attentive without hovering, and the gauchos came by consistently with a wide variety of perfectly seasoned meats. Every cut we tried was cooked exactly right tender, flavorful, and served fresh off the skewer. The picanha and filet were standout favorites.

This eating experience was great. The food and seasoning were more to my tastes than Fogo De Choa. Definitely will eat here again. Great value for the food and service you receive.

Food was delicious, had a great selection of different cuts, I person favorite was the bottom sirloin. The salad buffet selection was large and very fresh. Our servers name was Diego and he was an AWESOME guy. Personal note, the beef ribs was not as tender and fall apart as expected or wished for. Thank you for the great service that my fiance and I received, we hope to be back soon.

The service at Sal e Brasa is exceptionally better than other brazilian and fine dining restaurants in the area. They are very attentive and knowledgeable. The buffet area is also very fresh, abundant, and their empanadas were delicious. The manager Edgar even stopped by to confirm everything was well. It is more of a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The ONLY downside we found is they did not serve filet mignon- however- the cuts they did have were all delicious so we didn’t find ourselves discontent. I would recommend this place based on their service, efficiency, food quality pricing, and quality!

Tiday was a celebration for me and my boyfriend. We had a Reservation for 5pm and we stayed for over an hour, but it felt like time went by fast. The staff was very quick but happy to stay and help or answer questions without feeling rushed. Food arrived quickly when you flipped your card to green and it was always fresh and delicious! The portion sizes were bigger than other Brazilian steakhouses we've been to as well. The staff worked as a team to make sure every table was taken care of and catered to, even when it became busy. Nick was the primary waiter we had and he was always extremely polite and helpful without it feeling overwhelming! Another wonderful person who took care of us was named David and he helped us order desert and make our celebration feel special. I would highly recommend this place and will be coming back in the future!

Went to have lunch while I was working. I went in and was immediately greeted by professional hosts. I was seated quickly and the waiter and waitress there with no wait and were very well dressed and very attentive to my needs I believe their names were Bernardo and Madison. Food came out quickly and it was perfectly prepared and exactly the way I requested. Hands down the best restaurant in the business. I highly recommend going and my advice is to request Madison and Bernardo. 100 percent satisfied and will be a long term customer.

Absolutely 100% deserving of 5 stars. Parking was easy and location was very easy to find. The service was absolutely fantastic. Salad/hot bar was really one of the best and had unique options. The beef empanadas were fantastic, along with the bacon, and variety of salads. We enjoyed the steak cuts and grilled cheese bites. The servers came around frequently to serve different types of meat. Not just steak, but sausage, and lamb. The side of plantains were ok. Mashed potatoes and fries were great. All came out hot and fresh. Only thing I will note is that there was a solid amount of people wearing lounge clothing/sweat pants. I wish they were a bit stricter about their business casual dress code as it does affect the overall environment. I definitely recommend you check out this Brazilian steakhouse, it’s one of the best, if not it!

We were here for our anniversary dinner. We found the location convenient and the atmosphere very nice. The only reason there's not five stars on the food is there were a few entrees that were over salted. And the small Caesar salad bites ( I think that is what they were called) had grit in them. But the overall experience was very nice. We would definitely return. And the cost was very reasonable for a steakhouse of this type. We highly recommend the restaurant.

I had a great experience here! The service was amazing, and the staff were super polite and friendly. The food was delicious — the passion-fruit salmon was incredible, and I really enjoyed the sushi options too. As I was leaving, I accidentally left my bag on the chair, and the waitress ran out to my car to bring it back to me. Such a thoughtful gesture! I definitely recommend this place. Great food, great people, great vibe!

Mi primera vez en este lugar y me encantó! Desde que entras te brindan toda la atención que necesitas. El personal es muy amable y te trata on respeto. La comida deliciosa, y el servicio excelente. Desde que entras hasta que te vas el ambiente se mantiene cálido y sereno, música relajante y atención maravillosa. Realmente nunca me habían hecho sentir tan bien en un restaurante, se merecen más que cinco estrellas. Sin duda regresaré pronto.

I stopped by this Brazilian restaurant, Sal E Brasa, for dinner because I saw that it had a good rating. Once you walk in, the ambiance does have an upscale look and feel. The service is great. The salad bar has a variety of starters, which is great. The meat servers come by the table periodically to provide a slice of meet. While all the meat types were great, I can't say the same for the Garlic Picanha. I don't know if it was under cooked or if it was old but it didn't have a good taste. This morning, my stomach was rumbling, and I'm thinking it was the Picanha. But overall a good place and the price was as expected.

Celebrated a birthday with a party of 11. Service was great until new customers started coming in. Would ask for specific cuts of meats, and they would not show up. Otherwise, great place to eat.

La atención es muy buena, quizás no había mucha variedad y en algunos platillos puede mejorar su cocción. Cómo sea son porciones justas y los precios justos.

The food is decent, but the coolest thing is that they have a sushi bar — something I’ve never seen at a Brazilian steakhouse in the U.S., only in Brazil itself. It’s a bit dark inside, but very spacious. The service was excellent; everyone was friendly and willing to help. The manager, Eduardo, was especially attentive and took great care explaining the options for someone in my party with a dairy allergy. This place really reminds me of Brazil — even the rice tastes more authentic! They also offer some unique meat options you don’t usually find elsewhere. Simple, but overall a great experience.

Daniela was amazing . As was the Assistant Manager young kid maybe 23 years old. He’s going to do big things. My friend and I go to Brazilian steakhouses often. The salad bar was top tier. Best I’ve seen; fresh steamed veggies, sushi, yuca, all of the other steakhouse salad bar essentials as well. Pichana was B- but the ribeye was an A. Other cuts were good overall and well salted but the lamb and the garlic steak were too marbled. Service was an A+ Everyone was engaged attentive and pleasant . Sides were underwhelming but the salad bar makes up for it. For the price this one is in the top 5 for sure

The dining experience was .. different.When we initially came last Sunday (2/15/26) , they weren’t taking anymore walk-ins, reservations only. The next availability wasn’t for another 5 hours, So I made reservations for me & the hubby for 1:15pm. (After I got off , before the kids got out of school lol 😆..) We had a very good waitress named Madison!! She was very informative and attentive and answered any questions we had. She explained to us how everything work and it was smooth sailing afterwards, she even asked if our 1 year old needed something to drink , which no one has ever done! Thank you Madison. The all you can eat salad bar/appetizers was okay. The crusted sushi and salmon was our favorite. The pina colada and Italian limeade was sooooooo good! By far the best pina colada I ever had! It gave Royal Caribbean cruise vibes (iykyk) .. The main course , the meats.. ALL YOU CAN EAT (There is a double sided card on the table , green for more , red for pause)- We ordered a few of the meats & shrimp & afterwards the men started coming like clockwork asking if we wanted some of the meats. They had the meat on metal rod thingys and they cut it right in front of you & you grab it with tongues ..My hubby loved the shrimp & he’s not a seafood person .. I liked the bottom sirloin & the lamb wasn’t bad but for me the meat became over bearing & then I realized … I forgot to flip my card over lol!! I did shave a star off because I didn’t agree with the fact our waitress couldn’t keep her tip for herself and have to split it with everyone else. She was the ONLY person that got our drinks and made sure we were good and took the plates off our table . But then again, the meat cutters?

We made a reservation for a holiday gathering with 14 employees, and unfortunately the experience was disorganized from the start. Our table wasn’t ready at reservation time, and we ended up waiting about 25 additional minutes for things to be set up. Our server wasn’t very friendly and gave off the impression that we were an inconvenience. She seemed rushed and too busy to check in, which made the service feel unwelcoming especially for a planned group reservation. The salad/buffet bar was great and definitely the highlight. Once the meat service started, it came around quickly at first (we saw several cuts within about 15 minutes)… and then it felt like everything disappeared. We also requested lamb from three different staff members, and it never came out. Dessert was another miss: it took a long time to arrive, and one dessert never came out, but we were still charged for it, which was frustrating. The cuts of meat we did get were pretty good, but I only had about three, so I can’t speak to how wide the variety is overall. Bottom line: the food had potential, but the execution and service didn’t match the price or expectations, especially for a holiday group reservation. Not sure if it was the party size or staff training that night, but it was a disappointing experience.
