First trip to California. Stayed in Simi Valley and ofcourse craving something other than, fast food. This restaurant is AMAZING!!! I called first and the hospitality was inviting. So here we are, great ambiance, great customer service and most of all great food. If ever in Simi Valley don’t forget to visit. 👍👍

Food was delicious, their mac salad is a favorite to my wife that is picky. Their chocolate macadamian cookies are amazing too. All I wish for for this restaurant is to serve better fish, talapia isn’t a quality fish. They should sell Hawaiian Style Poke and Tuna. It’s more fitting and appropriate then the not so exciting talapia. Anyways the food I had was the Fire Island Bowl with island rice, char-grilled chicken, veggies, pineapple teriyaki topping and all the seasonings. Another sauce that made it great was the Thai-peanut sauce. This bowl is worth returning for and I’m happy we ran into this place after visiting the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.

If you’re looking for some really good food at a very affordable price Fire Island Grill in Simi Valley is it. The food here is always fresh and delicious. I recommend the Fire Island Bowl with Char-Grilled Chicken, sautéed veggies, half Island Rice and half Island Noodles. My favorite sauce is the Lava Flow Peanut, but if your not into spicy go with Pineapple Teriyaki. The Pineapple Chicken Sandwich is also very good.

This place is my wholesome food craving! The food is always quality and fresh. The plates are a great deal, and there is always some to take home. I recommend fire island to anyone looking to have a fresh, healthy, delicious meal! (My plate after I already ate half!)

I had heard quite a few good things about this spot so I decided to give it a whirl..... Wowzers.... This place is over the top tasty & all the different sauces they have are just off the chart. I had the steak & chicken over noodles with veggies...... It was really OUTSTANDING.... Owner Jimmy is the nicest guy you'll ever come across and he actually walks thru the restaurant chatting with the patrons....don't see that type of dedication anymore... Do yourself a favor and hit this place soon---You won't regret it 👍

This place is great its like hawaiian chipotle! And kids eat free with the purchase of a meal- awesome place its very clean and friendly staff.

I am strictly gluten-free due to an allergy factor. We arrived in Simi Valley from Utah on Friday mid-morning and Fire Island Grill came up as a good option for gluten-free. When we went in, I was greeted immediately, but it had been a long drive and my biggest focus was the ladies room. When I got back to the front counter, the gentleman there was so kind and welcoming! He made us feel right at home! And the food was delightful!!! It was our first 'stop' in Simi Valley and I wanted it to be our last, so we got our last Simi Valley meal here. THANK YOU, Fire Island Grill and all the wonderful staff!!!

The best service all the time. The owner, manager, and staff provide excellent service every time we go. The food is super good. I highly recommend this place for you to go with your family or alone. 💯👌🏽

I'm so full, its almost hard for me to simultaneously breathe and write this review. I need to give a massive shout out to Pablo for taking the time and explaining every sauce and option to me. It was my first time eating here and Pablo made sure it was an epic experience and totally earned my (repeat) business. The food is fresh and the options are endless. Its really reasonably priced for the amount of food you get and this isnt the kind of food that you regret eating later. Its clean, great vibe, really good music choices, and the staff are top notch, especially my new best friend Pablo!

I was looking for a new place to game lunch and found this place. I’m glad I did because the food was delicious and filling! Great service and daily deals!!! Thanks guys!!

I was amazed with the tasty food. I got the chicken bowl and it was a perfect lunch for me and the peanut sauce was fantastic! The gentleman who took our order was very kind and helpful for this first time customer.

Great spot to chat and catch up with friends. The atmosphere was great with lots of references to Hawaii. After paying, you are free to grab your plate and sit outside or inside. Food was plentiful and they add each part of the plate in front of you.

I was looking for a healthy option and stumbled upon Fire Island Grill. Walking in, I noticed a big menu on the wall, which gives you options on how to build your order. You then walk up to the counter and place your order, similarly to chipotle. To be honest, the ordering process was a little confusing, but the staff was very helpful and friendly. I ordered a bowl with half island, rice and veggies, steak and chicken, and jerk sauce. I was not quite sure what to expect, but I was actually blown away by the flavors. The meat was cooked perfectly, and the blend of fresh veggies with the rice was amazing. The food definitely fit the Hawaiian type vibes within the restaurant. The only snag in my whole visit was the time that it took to actually pay for my food. There was only one person in front of me, but the cashier took quite a while to help her pay and by by the time I went to pay there were about seven other people behind me. Nonetheless, it was a cool spot with great food, so I will definitely be visiting again.

I love this place! The salads and bowls are fantastic. I always get the volcano salad with pork and it never disappoints. My fiance got a rice bowl with veggies and chicken. The sauces are delicious and they are always happy to give you extra. The service is always really good and the employees are very friendly.
