Everything was excellent - the food, drinks and service. We had a rather large group and there was enough room for all of us.
We got 4 different tapas for 2 people and that was more than enough. We were afraid of the portions sizes but those came in a very good size. We went there in a Friday afternoon, the other tables were full and we sat in front of the fire place, more than perfect for a very cold day and that we had our shoes and socks wet from the wet grass. The atmosphere was very good and staff very friendly.
Really nice restaurant based on the main street in Skerries bay. The building itself has a converted house into restaurant feel and decor and is very nice. They also had a number of menus between early bird options. (Monday to Friday 12 to 7pm & Saturday and Sunday till 3 p.m. €24 for 2 course, €30 for 3 course) They also had evening, tapas & drinks menus. Obviously due to sea coast based location the restaurant focuses a number of their key dishes based on sea food options. The service was very good and the food itself was very tasty and couldn't be faulted. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a nice restaurant option based in or near the Skerries area.

Food is very taste and they will accommodate you even you're a vegetarian. They have also nice selection of wines. **************************************************************************
Jan 6th 2024, about 1:30pm, sunny and no wind Saturday ... and what a wonderful experience we had in this restaurant! Firstly, this is a pet-friendly place & I shall say it had me there. But it is a must to add that the staff went above and beyond to deal with an awkward situation where everything could go wrong and, instead, it was carefully addressed. There was a friends' reunion (about 6 people) taking place on the outside area of the restaurant and they had their 2 pets with them. Sounds lovely. Unfortunately, though, the humans in question didn't seem to be too keen on calming their dogs down (the poor dogs were notorious stressed with whatever situation their humans were submitting them to). We were also at a table outside (and by 'we' I mean myself, my husband and our doggo). Our dog is mostly placid. However, the lack of support from the other crowd to assist their own pets to feel minimally comfortable there was having a domino effect on everyone - our dog inclusive. Instead of leaving us dealing with that catastrophic situation, instead of asking one of the customers to leave... the waitress was sensible enough to read the scene before it created legs and invited us to the bar lounge where we could still have our dog with us and enjoy a pleasant meal in family. And what a good food! I'm absolutely stunning with how this situation was dealt with, and I am writing this review with joy. Surely we will be back & will do it sooner than expected.
Me and my girlfriends love to have breakfast on Sundays. Passing by this restaurant, we became interested in what we saw in the window. We were pleasantly surprised by the level of service - the friendly waiters were polite, professional and attentive. The breakfast menu impressed us with its variety and rich selection of egg dishes, so we wanted to try everything. We all decided to try new and different dishes to give each other a taste. The dishes were prepared and served so elegantly and in beautiful tableware that we felt like real gourmets. The interior created an atmosphere of comfort and luxury, and a burning fire in the fireplace added a warm homely feeling. We think this is the best place in county so far. We would be happy to come back here again.
Amazing food for our last night in Ireland. This tapas spot blends traditional Spanish flavors with uniquely Irish touches—think Guinness beef croquettes, fresh mussels, and a beautifully seasoned fish cake among many other standout dishes. For those looking for something heartier, there are also full-plate options beyond the tapas menu. The setting couldn’t be better, with a gorgeous view overlooking the harbour that makes the whole experience feel special. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive, and they easily accommodated our larger group of five. Reservations are definitely recommended. A memorable meal in a perfect location—highly worth a visit.
We visited this Spanish restaurant at the beginning of June. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the staff was very attentive, finding us a comfortable spot to accommodate the baby stroller. The service was wonderful. The food was incredibly delicious, with excellent flavor combinations. We ordered something similar to quesadillas with aioli, as well as shrimp in a chorizo sauce, which was amazing. Additionally, we had patatas bravas with their original tomato and garlic sauces, which were very tasty. We also ordered calamari rings that were very tender, and the frying was clearly done in fresh oil. It’s a place we loved and will definitely visit again!!
First time going on Saturday, honestly couldn't fault it. Chowder was excellent 👌 other tapas we got all very good, Guinness very good, service genuinely friendly. Definitely be back.
The quality of the food was fantastic. I ate a burger and everything in it complimented each other to make an amazing taste. The service is also very good as well as the view of skerries harbour. Food does cost a lot however I think it is worth for all of the positives of the food, service and area. Would definitely recommend.
Loved the easy going, but customer focused energy of this bar restaurant. The look is unique-downstairs is a mix of old style and beach bar, with a lovely small beer garden to the back and larger front deck eating area, that overlooks the harbour, that can be shaded by an awning if the sun is strong. Food gorgeous - we had tapas of beef Guinness croquettes with honey mustard dip,, crispy brie with cranberry jam, spare ribs in sauce, prawns & chorizo dish in a yummy sauce, roasted vegetables, bread basket with aioli - all delicious. There is an upstairs dining space also-try to get a window table for great views. Highly recommended The Brick House and I'm already looking forward to going back!
Really nice place. Staff is lovely and the tapas are delisios! Beautiful views towards Skerries harbour if you sit upstairs.
Great service and good food. Lovely view ofvthe harbour. Tapas were excellent. 100% recommended!
Friday evening/night meal, super tapas very well explained by the staff, how many dishes to have, style of food so on, Busy with great atmosphere when leaving as we where there early. As you can see empty plates.
Good cuisine, great sea view, cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Amazing food and Atmosfera. Very good food and service. Highly recommended!!
Great place for a sun-downer and tapas
I'm not sure how this place wasn't packed! The ambiance, the food, service, and views were incredible. I got the duck confit and padron peppers - both were perfectly executed. Will be back!
Lovely food, very pleasant staff and a fab location. Very impressed.
The food was really good and I really enjoyed the atmosphere.
Excellent and friendly service, great menu choices and really good food. Will be back.
Delicious fish and chips. Great, helpful and friendly staff.
Fantastic place! Great food lovely staff and very reasonably priced too. One of the best in Skerries.
We love it! Food was delicious. We had a burger and a catch of the day which was Cod. Services was really good, their knowledge of the menu was very good and they were helpful. WHY ARE YOU NOT DOING SET MENU ANYMORE?! I was always coming for that. I'm always asking about it when I get there but the answer is "No, it's not available". Why?! It was so good! We will be back anyway....😊
5 stars🌟 all the way for the Brick 👌. Service, location, atmosphere and the awesome food deserve no less than 5. ps You won't need to top up your tummy on the way home after this restaurant. The portions and superb quality of the food will have you rubbing your tummy with a smile on your face. 😋🌞
The batter of their fish & chips was one of the tastiest I’ve ever had 🤩!!
Our group of nine (including one three-year-old) walked in off the street at 3pm expecting nothing and were blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food. We were seated out of the way with a lovely conservatory to ourselves and everyone agreed that their chosen tapas dishes were delicious. We’d definitely come back the next time we’re in Skerries!
A cute place for a small dinner : they offer tapas(and mains, but didn’t see anyone order it) and it’s perfect to share. When sitting, we were warned that the food would take long - and it did (40 min) so we had some drinks and waited. We had potatoes bravas (perfection) , quesadilla (perfection) and steak bites(nothing special ) which was enough for 2. Highly recommend booking the place beforehand
We visited this restaurant for our anniversary, and overall, we had a lovely experience. The food was tasty. One small downside we encountered was that both the pil pil prawns and calamari were overly oily—especially the prawns. While it’s somewhat expected for calamari to be a bit greasy due to being deep-fried, the prawns really shouldn’t be that soaked in oil. That said, the flavours were great, and we would still recommend the place for a nice dinner out.
Nice restaurant specialising in tapas and main courses. Lovely view of the harbour. Pleasant international staff.
Lunch tapas was very tasty and moderately priced. Decor and atmosphere was good and customer service was friendly and efficient.
The food here is great, loads of different options to choose from that are cooked very well. The atmosphere is very special also especially on a summer day! Try book outside. However these days the prices are going up. Recommend the steak bites.
Very nice atmosphere, lovely staff, mediocre food. Here's what I sampled from the tapas menu: Guinness Beef Croquettes.... 5 stars Parma Ham and Brie Crostini: 4 stars Spicy Chicken Wings: 3 stars Sweet Potato Wedges: 2 stars The Beef Croquettes were delicious..no complaints. The Ham and Brie Crostini was tasty but kinda soggy. The Chicken wings were killed with vinegar and the potato wedges weren't wedges at all, just limp French fries. I'm willing to give the other selections a try but this go-round didn't do it for me.
Food was tasty. The salmon was warm, burger was warm however the plates were freezing and the side order of asparagus and sauce were cold. Quite unpleasant. The change given was wrong, not sure if a tip was automatically taken out of it without our knowledge or if the change was just incorrect.
I met a very rude and condescending waitress the 1st time I went here (I have eaten here 3×). She literally flinged the menu on my table without talking to me. When I asked her: "Is this the menu?" Her response was "a nod" and she walked away. Only she knows what the heck that was. The other waiters/waitresses were fab though. Besides the poor customer experience outlined above, the food here is good. You can't go wrong with the crostinis & pate. Oh the Jam! that was good too. The seafood chowder is not bad at all. But the "big boi" was the Organic Beef Burger 🍔 Mamma miaa..that was yummy! Would have got 5 stars if not because of poor 1st time experience.
Food: Overpriced and not that good Seafood chowder wasn't as good how it's supposed to be. Fries were fine and to be honest those two stars are mostly for that. Moreover another item I don't remember what the name was but it was just fries with some sauce and cream on it, I am not sure why name it like that. Service: One of the waitress was outside chatting around and barely listening to my requests and what all I was asking. She later didn't even care much to what we were asking her. Some other service staff were nice and talked well but while going up they said pasta is something they can make but the waitress above said it's not an option. Which is fine, can happen. Seating: They have windows that shows sea from the top but then our table faced a wall, help me make sense of this. Not sure what was the reasoning behind this.
15 euro per small plate is completely overpriced for what is all average at best reheated food. Nothing is freshly made to order, and ours arrived lukewarm. This was during the start of lunch service so it was super quiet.
Very disappointed with this place. After seeing all 5 star reviews I expected it to be very good. No idea where these 5 stars are coming from. We tried a few bits and they were all average at best. Very salty and to me completely overpriced for tapas sized portions. With all the options in Skerries I’ll be looking elsewhere next time
