Can’t believe I haven’t left a review yet considering I stop by at least monthly. An institution in Solana Beach. Where locals go for a great atmosphere, great pizza, and obviously delicious beer. Friendly folk, good vibes, would even say very family friendly. Lunch specials are a can’t miss. Constantly rotating beer options from their various locations but also some solid guest beers. Love the creativity they grant the PP locations around SD. My true “regular” spot. Always awesome!

Man came here on a busy friday evening and these employees are just hustling making great food and drinks they got our pizza wrong i didnt say anything because they were too busy but when i walked up for some ranch they owned up to it and got me a the right pizza and let me keep the wrong one i will always come back to this place great beer and great pizza

But Pizza Port ? This joint doesn’t just talk the talk—it walks it, folds it, and serves it hot with a side of wings that could’ve come straight outta Dyckman. The pizza? Fuggedaboutit. Crispy yet chewy crust, sauce that hits the right balance of sweet and tangy, and cheese that stretches like a Sunday morning in the Bronx. One bite, and I was transported—concrete jungle memories flooding back between mouthfuls. This wasn’t “California-style” with goat cheese and avocado. Nah—this was home. And the wings? A proper nod to East Coast bar food glory. Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, with a sauce that actually has flavor, not just heat for heat’s sake. Tasty Grub & Grog isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel—they just know how to spin it the right way. For anyone craving a true taste of New York in San Diego, this is your spot. Trust me—the lizard brought me back to Dyckman.

These guys are awesome! I was in a time crunch and asked if they could recommend me something that could get me out in time for my train. They not only got it out with plenty of time to spare, it’s delicious, extremely well priced, and loved the whole kitchens hustle. Great atmosphere, families, couples, a mixed crowd- all great vibes. The bartender recommended a wonderful strawberry marshmallow sour and all around it was great for a Friday afternoon stop. 10/10

An all-time classic pizza place that’s been a staple for great food and good times in Solana Beach for decades. The Caesar salad is always a great way to start things out, along with the beer buddies. The pizza is always delicious too. They offer a variety of local beers and there are video games for the kids. A few TVs too, so it’s a great place to watch the games. Seating inside can be tight at peak hours but the outdoor seating section has been expanded over the years.

Have had the beer many times and always wanted to try the pizza. It lived up to the hype. The pizza is as great as the beer, if not better. Always been a fan of the swami’s. The flying Hawaiian and take me higher was really good. Will definitely be taking a lot of beer back home with me. Just wish we could get it in Oklahoma.

Flavor: B Service: B Tea: F Solo dining: C If you have a hankering for pizza while you’re in or near Solana Beach, Pizza Port will satisfy your craving. I enjoyed our pizzas - and I love a pizza with meatballs. But I’d say both of our pizzas were a little bland and therefore nothing that blew me away. There’s a mini arcade inside that’s pretty noisy so it’s not a great place for conversation. But if you’re not looking for that, then the ample picnic table seating might be just perfect for you.

This is a local favorite, it was recommended by an Airbnb host where we were staying at. We have had better pizza not to say this wasn’t good… my margherita was cheese heavy and somewhere a miscommunication occurred that resulted in my having no sauce rather than added olive oil. The other pizza we ordered was better, forgot the name. This review is based purely off of the food, didn’t really interact or experience the customer service, we just ordered and picked up.

Great place for a group outing. The food takes a while to come out, so the key is to order appetizers so that you have a steady stream of stuff coming your way. They have a great variety of beer and pizza selections. Avoid coming here if you have sensitive hearing or are easily overstimulated. They announce your name over the loudspeaker, and it's set very loud during busy times. Seemed very kid-friendly with lots of arcade games throughout the restaurant!

Ordered the Margherita pizza and it was absolutely positively the worst pizza I ever had. It looked and tasted like a kindergartner made it with no cheese. I want my money back. What a joke.

Pizza sucks, people suck, I’m sure the beer sucks too if I drank. Pizza tastes worse than reheated Chucky Cheese. Ordered online for pick up, wouldn’t give us paper plates and napkins, not out just not feeling it I guess. Why offer things on your website you’re just going to refuse in person? Not sure what the deal is here but definitely not a good pizza spot. Yes that’s a pic of PizzaPort not 7/11 although I think I’d rather have 7/11.

Don’t come here if you are in any bit of a time constraint or a hurry. It took 40 minutes to get a 10” Margarita pizza. And this isn’t the first time either, but I thought I’d give them another shot. Draft beer was cool, but not cold either. FREAKING RIDICULOUS !!! This place has been around forever, and to have this level of garbage service is unacceptable. Get your act together.
