We ordered a cheeseburger meal and slightly less chicken dinner and when we got there to pick it up it had been given away to someone else. We were told 5 minutes, and given 2 complimentary ojs which we appreciated. However, when our food came out the burger was missing avocado and had mayo on it which the order tag states it should and shouldn’t have. The chicken dinner was missing its corn. The food tastes good but come on guys check the food especially if it’s been missed passing through multiple people multiple times. Mistakes happen but we’re not the types to complain normally and this kind of thing has happened more than a few times.

We're lucky to have an affordable three meal restaurant here in Sonoma like Black Bear Diner. All my meals here have been consistent. The theming is cute and the restaurant is always clean and tidy. Service is friendly. I also am appreciative of BBD being open on holidays. I also love their huckleberry lemonade and chocolate cream pies! Freaking delicious!!!

Breakfast was great...homemade sausage, which I like, was very flavorful also...Our server, Angel was polite and smiled A LOT lol. Very clean 😋 Black Bear Diner is recommended in Sonoma...

Great atmosphere, huge diner menu choice & brilliant service. Clean restrooms too. Starbucks Oxford service station UK, could do with a lesson from you, in how decent customer sanitation should be presented. Well done. 👍🏻

Ray took care of me even before I arrived. Bread pudding is to die for 😋 Our waiter Tyler was on point with our items and not to short change the cook because he made sure everything tasted good. Will definitely go again. 💖

Breakfast was good. Had pancakes which were good, not great, bacon was very good. Deserves a strong 4 just not a 5. Service was very good.

Reasonably priced food, big portions. It’s diner food, not fancy dining. The place was very clean and the staff was very nice. It took far longer for the food to come out than it should, but I think that was due to the large number of DoorDash orders they were turning out. Breakfast items available all day. My California omelette could have used more cheese, maybe some onions, it was a bit skimpy in that regard. A filling meal.

Pancakes were amazing. The cinnamon hot cocoa was a miss though. Too sweet and not milk based. Everything else was delicious. Their blackberry French toast was a special treat

Breakfast here while visiting Sonoma on business. Went here because we ate at our first Black Bear Diner in Arizona last year. Typical diner food and prices, and that is not a knock... Perfect for what we we were looking for and what we like in a breakfast place.

Food was great, but one thing stood out, the French fries tasted like fish. Not a deal breaker, but it is a huge concern if someone is allergic to fish

Short-Staffed, unapologetic, slow service, food took a really long time to come out. Once it did it was delicious. Probably the best black bear diner food I've ever had.

This is my first ever one star review, I really try to avoid writing them as I know how bad it is for businesses - this place deserves it. Absolutely terrible service. I called an order in 30 minutes before arriving (I was told 15min wait time or less). I arrived to find my order was never put in. At least that’s what I guess, because Nick, who I spoke to, took zero accountability regarding the situation and chalked it up to the “rush” they were having, place was half empty. On top of all of that, they got my order wrong.
