Best burger I've had in a long time! Stopped by when I was in the area and it's kind of easy to miss. There's parking in the back for about 4 cars and very few street parking. I'm just glad I went when it wasn't crowded as there are only a handful of tables inside. The atmosphere has a really southern vibe to it along with old country music playing. Service was very friendly and thumbs up for accepting NFC payments. The Squealer has got to be one of the most delicious burger ive ever tasted. The chili cheese fries and onion straws were equally as good. I would definitely go out of my way to go back.

Had the Black Truffle Buffalo wings the other day. Outstanding! All of the food here is incredible, but when they start experimenting the food only gets better! Thank you Inferno for always coming up big.

Stopped here with my brother on our lunch break today. We both agreed best burger that we had ever had in our lives. Great prices too and awesome deal on the lunch special. The only thing i was upset about was that i was too full after i ate that i couldnt eat another burger lol! From now on whenever we have a job or service call in Miller Place this is the only food joint we are stopping at for lunch! Whoever rang us up(i think it was the owner) was super friendly too! My wife and l both had burgers they where fresh very good meat , juicy and very tasty the fries were hot and freshly cooked we have been to Inferno a few times alway 5 stars . They do a great pickup business non stop after 5Pm we will be back. The burgers were like old fashion burgers not fast food chain store burgers . Good job on their part.

I've passed this place for years and have never stopped in. Shame on me, have I missed out. Sensational burger! I'm a burger purist.. the bun,the meat, possibly a slice of cheese. I want to taste the burger. No toppings right off the bat. When I placed my order, I was surprised that I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked. I found out why, when they served the burger. It was cooked to perfection! So I guess the point is moot. Lol! First time in and I thought that the burgers would be average size so I ordered thier "Two stack". The burgers are large and that was more than I could finish, so next time I'll have a single burger. This burger had great meat, was cooked unbelievably well, served quickly and the staff was real friendly. This is a great burger at a great place. 5 stars. Highly recommended.

This is a hidden gem. Best burgers in the business, tucked away on a side road. I've neber gotten anything there I didn't like. My recent fav is the dumas walker burger. Cheese, slaw, pickles and Carolina gold bbq sauce. Heaven. Really anything there is a good choice.

I usually need to dress my burger from top to bottom with additional condiments. I didn’t even have to ask how i like my burger and it came out UNBELIEVABLE. The sauce is addicting and made every bite delectable. Would 100% recommend. Great environment to top off the experience.

There is a liquor store and craft brew shop right across the street. So,it doesn't matter if they don't serve booze,everything else is great! They could use a slight veggie offering.for some of our veggie friends..lol I have been back many times. I don’t think I expressed my feelings strong enough. GREAT FOOD. !!!

This is a great place for locals to come for some American style food. We just found the place and had high hopes from the reviews on Google. We were pleased to have the same wonderful experience as most of the other Google reviewers. The staff are very friendly and want to help out. The decor is old school and entertaining. We loved the personal touches including a deck of cards on the table and games in the walls to keep us entertained. Almost everyone who walked in was greeted by name. We'll come again soon!

Great food here, the Big Smack is by far my favorite burger. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is another winner. Yes, the restaurant is on the small side but it’s a cozy gem of a neighborhood spot with great music playing.

Went there this week with a friend from a recommendation. I loved this place. Food and prices were great. Interesting decor. Staff was so cool. Manager introduced himself. Cook gave me a nod. Owner checked on us. I'll definitely be back very soon. Delish!!!!!

The food was absolutely amazing but the service stood out even more. It's rare to be greeted with such warmth and friendliness these days. It was our first time at Inferno but we were welcomed like old friends. Can't wait to try more of the burgers and sandwiches on the menu!

Inferno never disappoints!! It's always hard to decide between old favorites and trying something new, but at Inferno it's win-win! We haven't found a menu item we don't want to order again. Staff is always friendly, and atmosphere is awesome, too.

This place is the bees knees! It's a well kept secret in this little town of Sound Beach. They have Thee best burgers you'll ever have! Better than 5 guys or Shake shack. I'm blown away by this place!! It's SUPER local, charming, the staff were really friendly, prices were reasonable, and to top it off the food was absolutely delicious. Everything you could want in a burger joint!!!. But it's not just burgers. We had a big smack burger, carolina pulled pork sandwich, corn dog, and french fries. They were all just awesome! This is the place to go. Nothing fancy but they have great food and friendly people. We had wings that were delicious. My wife had the Philly cheese steak and loved it, so big she took half home. Do not miss the Chicken and Biscuits dinner with country gravy. The best I have ever had and it is a load of food. You will not leave hungry! The pulled pork sandwich is also a winner. Wonderful sauce!

What an awesome hidden gem this eatery is. It’s a little hidden, it’s off 25a and not in a place where you would expect a restaurant, I happen to stumble upon it. I’m glad I did, you go in and you don’t even feel like you’re in the hustle and bustle of NY anymore. Between the country music and the southern comfort food, you feel like you’re in the bayous down south, a great change of pace. The food is fresh and served hot. I love spicy so I tried the Nashville hot sandwich, mouth watering. They make a very tender pulled pork sandwich too. A good selection on the menu, I try to change it up every time I go in just to try all of the items. Been there three times and each time was better than the other. I highly recommend if you’re in the area.

Lovely little diner with a beautiful centerpiece upright piano. The patties are the star of the show here. Excellent burgers you can't go wrong with any of them. They did mess up my order though. I wanted onion straws instead of french fries, but they replaced the onions in my burger with onion straws instead, and gave me regular fries with the burger... while charging me for the onion straws order. But it was a tasty meal and I'll be back.

Wish I snapped a picture but it went down so fast I never had the chance!!! First time trying Inferno and I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich, or rather the pulled pork sandwich had me! I don't know whether it was the succulent, juicy and exceptionally cooked pork, the sweet but tangy but a bit spicy, mouthwatering sauce they slather it in or the perfectly supple potato(?) Bun that held it all together or the fact that I waited for my takeout sitting on a saddle that made my experience so memorable. Honestly the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. The staff were so friendly and helpful, food came out so quick and the menu was just the right size where I picked quickly but had enough options to satisfy my flippant taste buds. ABSOLUTELY will be back to try some more grub.

I can say with certainty that I waited far too long to indulge in and enjoy Inferno’s food. I will be a regular, for sure. I figured the appropriate way for us to test out their food was to start with the basics: 2 Big Smacks and fries. And, wow, two of the most perfect and delicious burgers I have ever had. Perfectly cooked twin medium-rare patties with a tasty and crispy sear on the outside. The bun, the dressing, the cheese, the sauce… all expertly combined into one super tasty hamburger. And, the fries… oh the fries! I also ordered a single, separate patty for my dog, a true aficionado who wanted to give his seal of approval on this local establishment. The boys at Inferno knew the weight of this responsibility and took it seriously. They were kind and fun about the request, and they certainly took care of Lord Sullivan of Sound Beach. Their prices are more than fair and the food is more than worth it. I am excited to try more of their menu and delve into the amazing specials I see posted online. We are lucky to have this local restaurant!

Was in the area and stopped into Inferno the Restaurant to grab dinner. Honestly I wasn’t expecting much but I was blown away by how good the food was. Seriously the burger is one of the best I’ve ever had. Get the onion straws and the Carolina Gold BBQ sauce on it! I also had a slaw dog which was delicious, too. I will definitely be making the trip here more often. Highly recommend!

My husband and I moved here recently and had heard all the amazing talk about Inferno. We finally were able to try it last night and HOLY cow will we be going back again!! The food is out of this world! I got the Dixie Chick and my hubs got the Heart Attack burger. Plenty of food and extremely reasonably priced! What an amazing meal. Tonight we took a drive out to one of the awesome partners in sound Beach called inferno. As you all know a restaurant is more then just a place to eat. There is a story behind it. Tonight is no exception. My favorite part about going to dinner is talking with people, and tonight I met the owner. Patty is the coolest dude. Down to earth and his taste in music rocks!!!! We started the meal with corn fritters and homemade honey butter. I would take that butter and put it on my shoe and happily eat it. Vikki had a California wrap. It was chicken, avocad, lettuce, bacon in a wrap. She said it was great. The girl child had a big stack. It is a double burger with a top bun and two bottom buns, special sauce lettuce tomato pickles and onions. She of course had the lettuce removed because God forbid she eats something healthy. She said this was probably one of the better burgers she's ever eaten on Long Island. Juicy and full of flavor. She loves the special sauce and wants more next time we go. She likes her burgers saucy. I had the limited edition hot pepper bacon wings. They were very meaty, and full of flavor. 10 wings per order was a perfect meal for me. They had a nice amount of heat without being over the top. I believe they would have killed my mother with the amount of heat but she doesn't like spicy. I do. Then we get to the boy child. The boy child ordered wings with inferno sauce. Inferno sauce is his hottest wing. I tried one and it was definitely hot. Then Patty surprised us. He brought out dried habaneros crushed up and asked if Kenny was okay with sprinkling it on his. The smile that went over my boy's face was like we just gave him a puppy. He put a generous helping of dried habanero on the wings in flake form. As he was walking away he explained to Kenny that if they're too much he'll remake his wings. He meant if they were too spicy he would redo them for Kenny. I thought that was a really nice offer. They were not too hot for my son. As a matter of fact he said this is one of the best Wing sauces he's had. You all know how much he loves his hot and these made him happy. He even brought Kenny over a little container with some dried habaneros in it so that he could bring it home and put it on whatever. To know my son is to understand that he puts crushed red pepper flakes on pretty much everything he eats. He turned to me and said I don't think I need crushed red pepper anymore I want this. I don't know how this boy's esophagus is going to survive but he does pretty well. By the way the scoville unit for these peppers is between 100,000 and 350,000 scoville heat units. He finally met the level in which he likes his heat If you are ever in sound Beach please stop in and say hello to everybody behind the counter. Tell them I sent you and I absolutely loved his wings. If you like them hot ask them to put the crushed habanero peppers on.

Cute lil burger joint just off the beaten path on the way to Cedar Beach/Brookhaven. The chicken w/biscuits & gravy....yuuuummy. They put it all together with gravy all over but next time we order it, we will ask for the biscuits wrapped separately. The guys at the counter were extremely friendly. First off, do not go here to order some kale or Bean sprouts. This is straight up, punch you in the face, comfort food. Food is served quickly even when they are busy, so everything is fresh and hot. My favorite was the Onion Straws with Sriracha Mayo. It was delicious. The burgers are cooked perfectly. The staff were great and definitely make you feel welcome. Highly recommend this place.

Good burgers, just avoid the special sauce. It's not great & it's all you can taste after 2 bites, no more hamburger, no more onions, no more cheese, just sauce. Also, dreadful country music and not really climate controlled.

Nice little burger and red hot place. Their Texas chilli on the Amarillo dog was more like a western NY meat sauce, but I'll forgive them because it was delicious! People were really friendly too, I would go back for a lunch there no problem!

Parking is not an issue. It is like In a residential neighborhood on their main drag. People I know love it. Would I go back, perhaps but not go out of my to do so.

I enjoyed the food here. It was a lot of food for the price. I wanted to try the wings but they didn't have any at the time. I ordered the burger special with the chili cheese fries. I enjoyed the side of cole slaw that was included with the special.

The hamburger was well done as asked and very juicy and flavorful. The onion straws with the sriracha sauce was fabulous. I would've given 5 stars but I didn't like the wings. I asked for buffalo wings and they were seasoned but didn't have any sauce and were rubbery. Go get an amazing burger and enjoy!

The food was really good and the decor was fun/unique. They were out of a few things we wanted, which was a bit of a bummer, but not a huge deal. I liked that there were cards and games to play at the table. The staff was very friendly. My main complaint is that the music was way too loud for such a small restaurant. But we'll go back again next time we're in the area.

My wife heard good things about the burgers so we decide to see for ourselves. We walked in and liked the mom and pop feel of the location. Employees we welcoming and friendly. We ordered burgers, bacon ranch fries, some teriyaki wings and two drinks. $61 total with tip.. All the food was prepared well. The burger was juicy, but bland. Again, the wings were cooked perfect, just the sauce was a little too salty. The fries were perfect!! We want to return and try different wings and one of their sandwiches or a different burger.

Excellent food. Burger was perfect. Onion straws were great. My husband got the chicken burger and said it was the best. The only downside is only 5 tables. More of a to go place but it wasn't packed at 5:30p so we were fine.

My experience here has been a bit of a mixed bag. But the last time we went, they messed up our order not once but twice. I really regret getting the burger because at the time it was delicious but it was SO Greasy and the next day I was sick. I'm talking projectile vomiting, chills, the works. I suspected food poisoning, but the grease was the most likely reason. The owner is a sweet heart, so I write this review with a heavy heart. The service was fast and friendly. I also love the casual feel of the place with the games and cards at every table.

I have been a huge fan of inferno since their food truck days, and I haven’t had a chance to pickup some of their great food in a year or so. It disappoints me to say I have tried calling in a lunch order 6 times in the last 3 weeks (during business hours), and have sat each time for minutes only to get nobody on the other end. This is made worse by the fact that their phone rings for about 2 full minutes before the call stops. I am sure they’re open because when I pass to pick up Handy Pantry in defeat, I see it seems like they just don’t want my business. I have since given up as I don’t have enough time on my lunch break to physically go in and order, otherwise I’d be there every other day! Unfortunately I can’t factor what is probably still delicious food into the rating because I haven’t been granted the opportunity to order it. I hope they can do better sometime soon.

Haven't been here in close to a year because the last time the burgers were over cooked and DRY. Gave it a shot again today. Burger patty seems smaller and the prices went up. Ate half of the burger and gave up. The burgers are still dry and this one was charred from being so over cooked. Not worth 14 bucks. Next time Ill drive to 5 guys instead. Inferno was great when they were a food truck. Wish they could bring that quality back.

Used to love inferno, but quality has gone down hill. Ordered California wrap, but they were out of avocado. No big deal but still charged same price is seems wrong to me. Cheese fries were nasty. Cheese was nasty ! Looked curdled or spoiled. Had to throw it out. Not very friendly staff either.

1/16/26 - Called in an order for pick up for 4 adults. Were told for 2 of the selections that they, "Couldn't do that right now." Both were chicken meals. Turns out, they were out of chicken. Ordered, was charged, and paid for bacon ranch cheese fries and received plain fries. A mere $4.75 difference however when this practice happens often(and it does here) it adds up. In their pockets. Both burgers ordered were in correct too. Not drastically, but disappointing none the less. The food,(When they get it right) is usually terrific, but the order taking is dreadful tonight, and every time we call in an order something is wrong.You might say we should have checked our food before leaving the store but I'd like to think we could trust the service to be better than a fast food drive thru. I've never dined in so perhaps that experience is better and I want to give the due credit to the good food, but when your're hungry and looking forward to the meal you order it really sucks when they mess it up. So folks, just a heads up if you order pick up or delivery.

Update: food used to be good. Now it’s sucks. Also every time we go there they don’t have the pulled chicken. Won’t be going back for a while. For the prices they charge the food isn’t worth it. First time trying this place. I can’t stop raving about it. The owner was very nice. He took our order. We had a party of 4. I had the chicken clucker, my friends had a hamburger and pulled pork. This bbq is the best I’ve ever had. Please support local businesses.

What's the result of an inferno?... Heat. Heat would be the result of an inferno. And maybe that's why this place is ok in the summer. But they need to change the name in the winter to Deep Freeze. Because in the winter this place is freezing. I mean it's the coldest place I've ever eaten in ever! Seriously they have these gas heaters in the place that might as well be fake. The place was so uncomfortably cold. If I was not with other people I would have left. The gaps in the doors were atrocious. I would not be surprised if they turn off their walk in freezer box in the winter because this place is freezing. Did I mention that's it's cold in this place? I'm not to worried about this review being a bit cold toward them as I'm sure they're used to it? It has ruined me for going back. I will tell you this I was there 3 times prior in the spring and summer and it was nice, but the sheer fact that they aren't reviewing how cold it is during the winter time tells me that they are more concerned with their comfort level in the kitchen vs. the customers. If it were me, I would sit in my restaurant dining room every few weeks to make sure I can stay on top of what my customer experiences. Gotta say I'm done here! Please in the name of sweet baby Jesus, please please please change your restaurant name anything but Inferno! Because you have the name Inferno doesn't make it warm and cozy!

Went there for years and it was good.. the last few times the service and food were not good. Mixed up the order, took forever.. then the burgers were burned and had no lettuce, tomatoes, or dressing.. no works. Idk why but they went down hill summer 2023. Hope it improves.

I found a bone in my burger from the unfortunate experience of biting into it. Reached out to management via email and instagram with no response. My tooth still hurts after two weeks of biting into it.

Got take out last week and had the absolute worst experience, called order in at 6:30 got to inferno to pick it up at 7:15 was told my order was next. Waited in my car for 10 minutes, went back inside and the lady behind the counter said my order was being put on the grill next,so my order wasn't even being cooked yet. Waited another 15 minutes for my food. I would have left if I didn't already pay for my order. My family and I used to frequent often here, we haven't been in some time and wanted burgers for dinner, this place used to be our go to, after our last experience we will not be coming back. Food should not have taken as long as it did, only one person on the flat top, a lady tossing French fries and a lady taking phone calls and orders. No one was working together, guy on grill was overwhelmed and didn't know how to multi-task, I am in the industry and was unhappy with how poorly they were working and how long it took for my order to be made. Others waiting for there orders were also upset. My burger was also undercooked, I couldn't even eat it.

I recently visited Inferno, hoping for a pleasant dining experience, but unfortunately, it was anything but that. From the moment we walked in, the service was shockingly poor. The staff seemed uninterested and acted as if our presence was an inconvenience. We waited an unreasonably long time just to place our orders, and when the food finally arrived, it was a major letdown. The burgers were overcooked and lacked any real flavor, as if they had been sitting around for too long. The sides were equally disappointing, with soggy fries that seemed like they had been reheated. To top it off, when we politely raised our concerns, the staff was dismissive and rude, making us feel unwelcome and ignored. Overall, the experience was far from what we expected, and I would not recommend Inferno to anyone looking for a decent meal or respectful service. There are plenty of other places on Long Island that offer better food and a more pleasant atmosphere.

Very disappointed. Been going here since before they opened and he had the truck by Agway. Over the last year or so the food and service has declined. I always sort of let it go. No more. I placed a take out order. Was told 30 minutes. Arrived. Waited and was told 5 minutes. One group in the place. Several pick up customers came in while I waited. Finally, almost an hour after I placed my order I was told, I am cooking it now. No apology. Nothing. Rediculous. I am a regular customer. They just did not care. I will take my business elsewhere. The truth is that this is the kind of thing that kills a place. It is just bad business.
