Good service and great food. The steaks and the sides were great. Their lobster appetiser was incredible. Came for a business late lunch and it did it disappoint. They have a happy hour area with limited menu, but I highly recommend sitting down and enjoying the full menu if you have the time.

Rosebud Steakhouse absolutely delivered. Tory and Scott were amazing warm, attentive, and made the whole night feel effortless. The Brussels sprouts were insanely good (crispy, flavorful, addictive), and the steak oysters were next-level. Perfectly cooked, rich, and indulgent in the best way. We paired everything with a Bordeaux, which was excellent and tied the whole meal together beautifully. Between the food, the wine, and the service, this was a flawless experience. Great vibes, great people, great service!!!

First time at this establishment. Sat at the bar and Zoey was attending the bar. She was fantastic. Very attentive and informative on specials and recommendations. Patrons at the bar recommended basil Hayden smoked and it wasn't smoking correctly and I didnt care but Zoey had to make sure it was perfect. I got the 14 Oz filet medium rare asparagus and it was cooked to perfection. Janario was manager on duty very friendly especially since I was underdressed headed to work. I had an exceptional experience here and highly recommend. Monday night dinner Rush wasn't so busy I couldn't get in but I imagine weekends are packed. I couldn't have asked for a better start to my night. Will be back

I went to Rosebud Steakhouse Southlake and it was amazing! The signature cocktail menu is five star, top shelf bartenders too. Everyone working there - just wonderful. I was alone & ordered the wedge salad with skirt steak. That skirt steak might as well have been prime ribeye, no steak knife was needed and all that is with it (especially the cubed bacon) is so good. Everyone was so nice and professional, great atmosphere, great food and drink, just a wonderful place. Definitely go! Fine place.

We all ordered something different to try for different flavors; and it was all amazing! Such splendid mixtures, from the specialty appetizer to the steaks and chicken parmesan, followed by the home made butter cake and three layer chocolate cake. Josh is a phenomenal server and his attentiveness is unmatched. John Moran, thank you for the recommendations and the flavorful experience.

We went to Rosebud Steakhouse for a birthday celebration and we had a lovely time. The food was delicious and the staff was incredibly attentive. We tried the 8oz filet, New York strip, crispy brussel sprouts, grilled asparagus, and the mash potato. All the steaks were cooked perfectly and paired nicely with the Brandi peppercorn sauce. The sides were delicious!! Definitely recommend checking it out.

Celebrated our 25th anniversary here. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious and the weight staff were so attentive. The manager even came out to check on us multiple times. My water glass was never empty and they gave us their delicious butter cake for dessert.! I highly recommend going here for any events whether big or small. Thank you JJ for the great service and Scott and Pat for making the night extra special. Too bad Posty didn’t show up to serenade us. However, the butter cake made up for it!

Absolutely AMAZING new restaurant in Southlake! My boyfriend and I eat out every single night, and this spot instantly became one of our new favorites. The atmosphere is gorgeous, the service is incredible, and the food… unreal. Every single thing we ordered was a 10/10! We tried the jumbo shrimp cocktail, the crab cake, the dry-aged short rib sandwich, the broiled sea bass, the corn off the cob, the spicy broccolini, and the butter cake — even the bread was amazing. Literally not one miss! The GM, Scott, came to our table to introduce himself, he is super friendly and cool, and our waiter Max was just as awesome — attentive, fun, and on top of everything. We’re absolutely becoming regulars. Highly, highly recommend! ✨🍽️💛

Tonight was my birthday and we dined super late and the service was still phenomenal! Our server was Mike, he was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Didn’t mind repeat questions and gave his honest feedback on menu items and provided us distinct flavor profiles on the options too. Our bartender was Zoey, amazing drinks!! Pack a punch but not too heavy on the bitter flavor. Our busser Brandon didn’t rush us- the place looks well kept and neat. Not a crumb in sight. Lastly, the manager Genario (hopefully that’s correct)- stopped and checked on us ample times. 10/10 service and food, as a steak connoisseur you will not make a mistake dining here. We will be back!

Rosebud Steakhouse in Southlake, Texas absolutely exceeded every expectation and delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we sat down, it was clear this place takes pride in quality, hospitality, and doing things the right way. The food was outstanding across the board, and the portions were incredibly generous — so generous, in fact, that we happily left with plenty of leftovers to enjoy later, which is always a win when the food is this good. The filet was the true star of the evening. It was unbelievably tender, cooked perfectly, and packed with rich, mouthwatering flavor in every bite. The appetizers set the tone early, offering bold flavors and excellent presentation, and the drinks were just as impressive — well-balanced, smooth, and clearly crafted by people who know what they’re doing. Everything we ordered felt thoughtful, indulgent, and worth savoring. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the exceptional service. The bartenders were friendly, engaging, and made us feel welcome right away. Our waiter, Mike, did an outstanding job — attentive without hovering, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great night. The manager, Scott, went above and beyond in a way that really stood out. When my cousin started feeling sick and had to leave early, Scott personally packaged up a complimentary dessert and sent it home with her so she wouldn’t miss out. That level of care and thoughtfulness speaks volumes about the culture at Rosebud Steakhouse. I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant — the food, the service, and the overall experience were all top-tier. Rosebud Steakhouse has earned a loyal customer, and I will absolutely be back.

We had dinner at Rosebud Steak House in Southlake to celebrate our anniversary. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Our waitress was fantastic. Food was delicious!! Best Salmon! Great wine selection. We will definitely dine here again. We sat at a half moon booth in the dining room and the noise was minimal with most of the tables full.

First time dining at Rosebud. This is a hidden gem. Food was excellent. The portions for salads, sides and desserts are very large and shareable. Started the meal with beef wagyu sausage appetizer, outstanding. Anthony was our waiter and he did not disappoint. Butter cake and chocolate cake finished the meal. A return trip to try out the lobster will happen very soon.

Nina and Christian made our night great. There were a few hiccups that they addressed with the utmost professionalism. Food was great. We will be back.

We went here this past weekend and it was absolutely wonderful!! We highly recommend this place. Everything was delicious and the service was impeccable. Our drinks by Nina the bartender were equally amazing. The only thing I would change are the dinner rolls. They were a little dry but that aside, everything else was so good and we really look forward to coming back again! We are telling all our friends about this new gem in Southlake.

What a gem !! Had an excellent steak dinner at the new Rosebud Steakhouse in Southlake. First off the beauty of the restaurant is astounding - love the light and classic look and feel !!! Staff were super attentive and friendly. Nice bar area - I could see a nice happy hour here. Lamb chop lollipops is a must have from appetizers. They were astounding. I thought to myself I could lick this plate. Jalapeño corn chowder was another winner . We then chose the steaks for our entree and we were very pleased. Finished off with homemade key lime pie !!!! This place was amazing. This is a well needed restaurant in Southlake. Don’t believe me. Try it for yourself

We had this very cute server named JJ and he was super sweet and attentive. The food was great, the space was super nice, and the management really had everything together especially when they got busy. Will definitely be coming back soon!

From first bite to final dessert, the food was 11/10. Our server Nina made perfect recommendations including cocktails, appetizers, and everything in between. We can’t wait to come back again and again. A perfect place for date night or a small friend group. I wish there were more booths but that’s just a preference.

The food was outstanding!! We ordered the the vodka rigatoni and the spaghetti with meatballs, started with a Caesar salad. This is the best Italian food in the DFW metroplex, in my opinion. I have gone here SO MANY TIMES NOW. My favorite steak house and I’ve tried many of the top steak houses in Dallas ( Al biernets, Dakotas, Drakes, Nick & Sam’s etc. )The steak is cooked perfectly everytime and perfectly salted. The vodka is perfection. The BUTTER CAKE IS SO GREAT. Honestly, everything I’ve had here is delicious

We had the pleasuring experience to experience my nursing milestone with Josh as our server as well as the wonderful ambience with the staff and the management team. Josh and the team went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable and served, and all needs were met. We highly recommend this location as the drinks and the food is immaculate. Josh definitely is natural and innate at what he does and is a powerful asset to the restaurant. This definitely made the experience help speak for itself!

The ambiance is beautiful, and I loved that the bar area is separate from the main dining room. The location itself is gorgeous and adds to the overall experience. The food was top tier. The 28 days aged filet mignon was delicious, the sides were generously portioned, and the happy hour sliders were surprisingly large. The oysters were also really tasty. I especially appreciated that they accommodated my request for chicken piccata even though it wasn’t on the menu, and it was absolutely amazing. Food and drinks were both top rated. The service was the best part. Everyone was so welcoming, and you could truly feel the teamwork across the staff. We are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you for such an amazing dinner!

We went for my husband's birthday dinner and the manager was so sweet. We had pasta, steak sandwich, fries, and carrot cake. I have never had a meal anywhere until this one where every single bite of food we ate from bread to dessert was PACKED with flavor. Usually at least 1 thing is "okay" or just not good. I don't think they could have something bad on their menu if they tried! The portion sizes were generous and prices were reasonable for an upscale steakhouse. Thank you guys for making this night so memorable! We will definitely be coming back.

Visited to celebrate my birthday. We had the pleasure of having Josh as our server and he was incredible. His recommendations were honest and remarkably accurate. He was also very attentive without being disruptive. As for the food, everything we ate was delicious. I had the New York strip with no flavor enhancers and it was perfectly done. And the key lime pie was one of the best I’ve had. We will absolutely be visiting again.

Went to Rosebud for Christmas evening dinner. New restaurant but absolutely blown away! Janessa, our server knocked it out it out of the park. We ordered way more food than we could eat so we could sample- From drinks, appetizers and the mains, all came out quickly and prepared to perfection. I spoke to Scott Lindvall (corp) and expressed how the evening unfolded. What a great opening and can't wait to go back. Fine dining with impeccable service- excellent team work throughout our evening. Going back soon! Over $300 - well worth it !

Rosebud Café was absolutely wonderful. The food was fresh flavorful and beautifully presented and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was also fantastic and the atmosphere was great. Our family fully enjoyed this visit. We've been several times prior to this, but our experience this time was by far the best!

We had a great first time experience at Rosebud last night! We came to celebrate our friend’s birthday (group of 10). The food was excellent - I had trio medallions that were cooked to perfection. Brussels sprout were top notch. Even better was MAX, our server, who went above and beyond. Besides a great personality, he made the dinner flow with ease, handled the dessert we had brought in - which was appreciated and relieved stress in my end! I highly recommend Rosebud Steakhouse!

From being greeted by Scott, to the espresso martini and the bread onto the amazing lobster got appetizer only to continue to the petite filet, and sides of onions/mushrooms and baked potato to conclude with the special if the day dessert of bread pudding, nothing could have been any better than it was. This place and food was perfection, including our server, Tori. She kept our table clean, filled, and ready for the next course. She was a charming, attentive server who seemed to be more than happy to help with suggestions and anything else needed. We can’t wait to come back!

As a business owner, we hosted an event with 50-ish attendees for a private luncheon. The room was spacious and comfortable for all guests with plenty of walking room for the presenter. The staff was very responsive and we didn't need to ask for anything twice. The food is absolutely phenomenal and it's because the chef and staff were great with their timings. My team hosts luncheons all over DFW every two weeks, and Rosebud has accommodated us the best by far. The Manager, John, is naturally a great person and will do his absolute best to ensure you're taken care of. You can sense he has years of experience with his high-quality service. Overall, this is great for an elevated experience. Le'ts keep the happy hour as a hidden gem for now so I can make sure I get seated next time! $2 Oysters.. Thank you to all the staff today, really appreciate it and can't wait to be back!

Scott and his team made a great first impression on my visit this week. Menu was more than the standard steakhouse fare with superb cocktails to start the dinner. Massive shrimp cocktail was great. Loved seeing a Delmonaco on the menu and it was cooked perfectly. Nice wine pairing. Truffle tater tots were fun. The carrot cake and key lime were a perfect finish for the night. Staff were gracious and pleasant. Will definitely return.

The food was AMAZING. We had the oysters, crab cake, shrimp and grits and medallion trio and it was all incredible. The service is also exceptional. We were greeted and served quickly even on a busy night. Josh, our server, was friendly, helpful and laughed at our jokes. So obviously a gem!

Go for the service definitely not the food. Our lead sever Vanessa was amazing, and the team that supported her was hands down the highlight of the evening. The food was mediocre at best….starting off with the lamb chop lollipops were full of fat but cooked correctly. The Cesar salad was so over dressed that the romaine was wilted, I will however say the croutons and Cesar dressing was tasty. The other couple ordered the prime chopped salad and was pleased…. For our main course we ordered the rigatoni vodka, rigatoni bolognese, petite fillet, and the Delmonico steak. The pasta was decent, the bolognese had more meat than tomatoes but was flavorful. The Delmonico steak was the highlight of the evening. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The fillet was very disappointing, we ordered medium rare Pittsburgh style. What was brought to the table was an over cooked well done steak. The second fillet wasn’t much better, while it was cooked correctly to a medium rare it was flavorless and more on the cold side. It was apparent the fillet was placed under the salamander to fast track the cooking. Our four person half moon booth was so loud you could not hear the others at the table due to the speaker directly above the table blasting music. The dining room itself was very open and loud. In short - skip Rosebud if you have an option.

The service is great, but they ran out of the pistachio liquor for one of the drinks that I wanted. I got the daily special sea bass Oscar which was delicious, especially if you want something lighter than steak. My husband got the Delmonico, and it was delightful. I think the mashed potatoes were very average and a bit on the dry side. We got the herb butter to eat with the mashed potatoes, which ended up making up for what the potatoes were lacking. The butter was $5-6 though just FYI. The end of the meal was perfect with the butter cake - highly recommend this finale!

First time at Rosebud. We were there on a Saturday evening and the place was full. We were a party oy 8. The environment and decor are very inviting and upscale. The initial service was prompt. However, things became a little erratic as the bar and kitchen seemed to back up. Our main courses came out with none of the sides we ordered. We had to wait a fair amount of time to get the sides. The food quality was good. However, especially for the price point not special. I personally would skip and go to some of the other options in the area.

We walked up to a gorgeous outside of Rosebud Steak. Got seated on Christmas day. Our reservations were for 3:00 Our water glasses had to be sent back because of being dirty, no one said anything to us about that. Waited about 10 minutes for our wine, beer and mixed drink. Bread service didn't come out until we had been there 40 min. We got apps of meatballs and hamburger sliders which were very good. Salad, steak and salmon was also good. But the service was slow, and many waiters, servers standing around talking to each other The whole time we were there. Needs better management for sure. I don't want to put up more pictures of waiters standing around but it wasn't good. For spending almost $400.00 for three of us, service was very lacking. But food was very good. We will give Rosebud one more try at Happy Hour.

My wife and I were very excited to eat here since we frequently dine at the Rosebud in Chicago on Michigan Ave. This review is very critical however, I hope to change it to a 5 star review soon. We were seated by the windows and had a nice open feeling view. We couldn't but help notice numerous people walk right by the entrance door because there is no signage, this included us as well, easy fix though. One of our favorite menu items is the cheeseburger, which we both ordered. It comes with fries or tots, and we ordered one of each. Our waiter was great and extremely helpful and had our wine, and salads out promptly. Afterwards, our burgers and sides arrived and looked amazing as typical Rosebud fashion. We noticed the burgers and potatoes were extremely salty. The burger was delicious as were the sides just very salty as if the chef was heavy handed on the salt. The other thing I noticed was the portions of the sides were huge. We could've shared one of the sides and still not consumed it all. I know this is petty, but the sides should be smaller, as it was a waste of food. Finally, about half way through our meal we noticed the restaurant quickly became very busy including the private dining room with some type of party. Our waiter had 5 tables and then I noticed he was sent into the private dining room. I knew we had lost him as he could hardly keep up with the 5 tables. We had ordered a second glass of wine and he never returned. We waited and waited and finally asked the manager who was walking by if we could have our check. I'm hopeful the wait staff issue can be resolved and hopefully the food won't be crazy salty next time.

We had reservations for New Year’s Eve. Arrived early and sat at the bar for a cocktail. Bartender was cordial but really slow. It took about 15 minutes to get drink and bar wasn’t that busy. We got seated for dinner and waiter showed up about 5 minutes after sitting, which is fine. I asked for wine list, and he said he would get one along with bread. 15 minutes later he should up with wine list but no bread. We ordered steaks. When food arrived, waiter was not present. We had no steak knives and ran out of water. We ate our meal and waiter finally showed up about 30 minutes later. Good food but crappy service. Not what I expect spending almost $400.

We go out of town for Christmas every year, but we stayed home this year. We have eaten at several other steakhouse during those times. I have tried to think of the best way to say this, our Rosebud Steakhouse experience was very disappointing from the drinks to the food. The best part of the evening was our waitress NINA...she was simply helpful, amazing, and attentive. She held my grandson so my daughter could eat, when he didn't want anyone else. To say the least Nina conquered our table of 12 that consisted of 4 kids. We may try again on a smaller scale. Thanks

Went for happy hour because of the buzz. We were the first patrons of the day and left before they got busy. Lots of staff visiting with each other while our dishes piled up and glasses were empty. Management was there but did not notice. On a positive note, the meatball was delicious even though lukewarm. Great burger and salad.

I heard this was a new steakhouse with a unique twist, so we made reservations and came to check it out. The place has a great atmosphere, and we were greeted warmly when we arrived. Our server was fantastic—so knowledgeable and attentive. I wish I had written down her name because she truly made the experience better. We started with drinks, which were excellent, and the garlic rolls were delicious. Our server recommended the lobster butter and cheese balls, and they were absolutely amazing. She also suggested we try the Texas Akaushi Reserve Strip for $119. We decided to share it and requested it medium-rare. Unfortunately, this part of the meal was disappointing. The steak came out medium, and I honestly didn't want to complain—I’m not usually that type of person. I tried to eat it anyway, but each bite was tougher than the last. Maybe it was just a bad cut? I probably should have said something, but we were already full, so we let it go. Overall, it was still a nice experience, but I’m not sure I’d come back specifically for the steak. Thank you all!

I'd like to believe these are new opening issues, but they have been open a while now. Let's start with service: BAR: Good but no cocktail menu. "I can make anything you want!" is great but I do not always remember the cocktails and I'd like to look at the ingredients. SERVICE: Was just OK. Server couldn't explain the difference between Wet and Dry Aged Steak. Said he would find out and the then forgot to find out so had to go again to ask. Slow to serve our drinks. We were halfway through the apps when we received the sparkling wine we ordered. FOOD: Was just OK. Caesar Salad was over dressed. The crabcake needed more seasoning. The "best Chicago rib-eye" came out undercooked. We asked for Medium Rare, and it came out a rare dark pink. Rather than admit the error and fire a new one, they put ours in the oven a bit. When this happened to me at Ocean Prime, they fired a new one TWICE with the main chef coming out on the second to apologize. The difference in service was surprising. One highlight was the "Lobster Got". The Server didn't really know how to describe this. We ended up realizing it is a portmanteau of "Lobster" and "Escargot". So we figured it would be small portions of lobster in Garlic Butter like the escargot would be. They really need to name this "Lobst-argot" for people to know what this is. Most will say "Lobster-GOT" not "Lobster-GOE". Plus, the cheese topping should be reduced and the brioche is too heavy for this dish. French bread is better. The desert was also disappointing. 2mm of graham crackers does not make for a cheesecake. It's basically a flan and it came out too warm. WINE LIST: We all know it's 3-4x to order wine compared to the store, but do we need to rub it in? So many familiar store-bought brands. A glass of Kim Crawford for the cost of a bottle in the store? You are literally located next to a vintner! You can at least curate a wine list that hides all the mark ups. Sadly disappointing. Unlikely to return.

Been several times, I knew better if I want a good steak, only go to Bobs. Steak came out wrong temp sent back and I got a chunk of coal my son ordered a steak 85.00 steak half of it fat and center was cold and near purple sent it back and came bk mw. Not what he wanted. When mentioned to waiter he just didn't care. Desert time chocolate cake is the best, ordered bread pudding the dish was so hot my daughter burnt her hand. After I said its so hot waiter said oh plates hot and walks away. Talked to manager and he apologized but offered nothing. Wasn't his fault but waiter was not friendly and mains course was bad. 1st time I came here I got Chicken Parm. I had cut into my chicken and it was completely raw.

The only good in our first and only time at this restaurant was our waiter Josh. Starting with free valet service, our walk to the restaurant was 20 times longer than if we parked ourselves. Service staff other than our waiter appeared and performed as if they hadn’t had proper training. The lobster got appetizer had hardly any lobster in it. The boneless ribeye italiano that I ordered medium rare was overcooked and was not served warm. The steakhouse mashed potatoes were dry and cold.

Unfortunately, this place needs a lot of help. I had my daughter's wedding reception here and was directed to deal only with a person named Lisa who lives in Chicago. The planning process was a disaster, but we had no alternative, but to stay on course since we had sent invitations out. We ended up spending $10K for 49 people to dine here. Food was $4,500 and the rest was alcohol. About 15 people didn't even drink. Nothing that was discussed and communicated was followed through. Our bill was so high because the staff took it upon themselves to bring out drinks to people without them ordering a second. We had documentation through emails with strict policy to stop alcohol after 3 hours, but the manager Scott was clueless. I am the mother of the bride and had to remind them when I realized it had been 3 hours and 40 minutes. I emailed them after the event to get some sort of remorse or compensation, but I was met with cold, rude attitudes and no acceptance for their mistakes. We tried this restaurant a couple of weeks prior to the reception and the manager Scott was very rude. They were out of the crispy brick chicken. When the manager came over to inform us, there was no apology or anything. Just "we are out of the brick chicken, do you want something else?" It was very worrisome knowing we had to deal with them regardless in a few weeks. Too many better steak houses in the area and Fort Worth. I would steer clear of this restaurant until they can get new management or get things right.

I can’t say enough about our server Audrey. She was awesome, kind and sharp. The food was very good. The Orin Swift Pinot tasty. Sadly, for our large party of 14ppl, the General Manager, Scott, was awful and tried to ruin our celebratory evening. We will never return to this restaurant after being treated so poorly by the GM. I CANNOT, with good conscience recommend this restaurant to anyone.
