Went to have lunch here for the first time. The place is new and very beautiful on the inside. This is the place to be for good Chinese cuisine. Please know the food is fresh and hot and they give you plenty. You will have leftovers. Treat yourself and the family to a delicious meal.
If you are craving “authentic” Chinese look no further than 888 Chinese. 100 percent exceeded all my expectations with their generous portions and delicious food! I was blown away by the sheer amount of food provided with my order. From the moment I opened the containers, I knew I was in for a treat. The menu boasts a delightful array of dishes. Whether you're a fan of traditional favorites like General Tso's Chicken or adventurous enough to try something new, 888 Chinese has something for everyone. Starting with the Wonton Soup, each spoonful was full of flavor and filled with plump wontons. The house fried rice was some savory goodness indeed and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The Orange Chicken and Sesame Beef were both absolute standouts, with tender meat and delicious sauces that left me wanting more. And let's not forget about the egg rolls – crispy, golden, and filled with a delicious combination of ingredients. Overall, 888 Chinese delivers not only quantity but also quality. Every dish was delicious, and I couldn't be happier with my delivery experience.
First time I came to this places I had a bad experience but because my cousin brought me for a second time and was a good decision. This time was way better. Services was great and food was delicious. It turned into one of my favorite asian restaurant in spring area.
My daughter and I ate there Sunday night. Egg rolls were very good. Cheese puffs were also excellent. Daughter went home with enough chicken fried rice for 2 more meals. Sesame chicken was pretty good too. We will be going back.
Great authentic Chinese cuisine. Really excited to have 888 in the Spring / Tomball / Woodlands area. Great flavor and fresh ingredients. The General Tso Chicken is my personal favorite on the menu and 888 makes it very satisfying along with the House Special Lo Mein with that authentic Chinese flavor and a great mix of beef, shrimp, and pork. Lastly, the Happy Family is sure to please, a complete array of meats and vegetables in a delicious sauce, arrives to the table on a sizzling cast iron platter!
I ordered this food for delivery, and I’m really glad I tried this place! The hot and sour soup was perfect. Their orange chicken was the right combination of sweet flavor and savory chicken flavor coming through. And their pork fried rice was incredible: lots of ingredients, including scallions and sprouts and veggies. And the pork chunks were sweet and delicious. The fried wontons were great as well. This was an amazing meal! The best part? The place has really low prices, compared to the competition. Love it, and I can’t wait to eat 888 Chinese again.
Just happened by opening day the egg rolls are excellent and easily best fried rice I have had since moving to greater Houston area.. even found a new favorite dish the Hunan Beef was just amazing! Yummm
Unique Chinese restaurant because they offer a more traditional Chinese menu, and an American menu (usual fried rice and egg rolls). I was a bit skeptical at first but ordered 2 items off the authentic menu for take out, and they were both great, albeit a bit on the salty side for us. Definitely recommend trying the chunk of chicken stir fried in dry red chilis, and szechuan style sliced fish. Their chili paste also has a nice kick and tastes like it's made in-house. Service was prompt, food was still hot when I got home about 10 min later. Will definitely be back to try other items off their authentic menu.
Did a DoorDash order so can’t speak to atmosphere. Food was freaking phenomenal. Flaming beef was everything I wanted and more. 100% will be back!

What a beautiful place with delicious food! Even plates and silverware were very nice. The interior was decorated with wisteria flowers hanging from the ceiling. Everything about this place was perfect, including the food. Reasonable prices and delicious food is 90% of what we want in casual dining. This restaurant had that and much more. I will definitely make this my go-to Chinese food restaurant in the area.

Great service Speedy order ! The chicken and broccoli was a 9/10. The spring rolls were a 5/10. They were mushy in the middle and did not have much filling . I got the lunch special which is available until 4pm . $11.95. I feel the portion size is small but overall it was tasty .
I've driven by this establishment multiple times. I decided to stop in and try it. The cashier was kind. I decided on trying the shrimp fried rice, and I made it spicy. The wait wasn't too bad despite the many patrons dining in and about 2-3 door dashers waiting for orders. I mistakenly asked one of the door dasher's if she had eaten there before, thinking she was a customer. She replied,"No, but she receives a lot of orders from door dash for this place." I kind of felt better about my order. Overall, I enjoyed my food. It had the right amount of spiciness, and the fried egg roll wasn't oily, which I appreciated. I would order something different like shrimp egg foo young from this place. Looking forward to my next order from here. 😊
Ambiance: Ordered for delivery so cannot speak on restaurant interior/ambiance. Quick delivery! A bit pricey but that's to be expected nowadays. Chicken fried rice & pork fried rice were excellent and large portions - enough to share or have leftovers. Hot & sour soup was still warm after delivery, also good portion and tasty flavor. Would order again!

My girlfriend and I were looking to spend our valentines night together and enjoy some Chinese cuisine. When we arrived, we were swiftly greeted and were able to sit wherever we would like. The service was pretty good, took our order quickly and checked on us routinely to make sure everything was alright. The waitress was doing multiple things by herself while the hostess was sitting down at a table eating while the waitress was crying in front of us because of the stress. Our appetizer (the cheese puffs) took 20 minutes to come to the table, but after we got the cheese puffs our main courses shortly followed. I ordered a small wonton soup, and it was decent. The cheese puffs were exceptionally good, and my girlfriend’s sesame chicken was awesome. Her lo-mein she got on the side on the other hand tasted burnt with little to no flavor, it was so gross she barely touched it. I ordered the kung pao chicken (don’t order this) and it came with 90% vegetables and 10% chicken, and the chicken was so tiny I had to eat 3 pieces at a time and before I knew it I finished my plate, the taste was really good though. My fried rice on the side tasted like air, I didn’t order white rice, I ordered fried rice. After we had finished our meal, the hostess came by and gave us a Valentine’s Day gift (which was really sweet of her) All in all, 888 Chinese Restaurant was an okay experience, nothing to write home about and nothing to make you want to barf. Hopefully that waitress(I didn’t get her name) has a good rest of her night because we felt awful. IF YOU ORDER HERE, ORDER TAKEOUT, NOT DINE-IN.

First time coming to this location and I can honestly say I won’t be back….. no one speaks English so it’s hard to communicate with the waiters and managers. The menu for the soups doesn’t specify what is in them so if you wanna try something different it’s best to ask…. My husband wanted to try the seafood soup and didn’t realize it doesn’t come like the chicken noodle soup. ( potatoes, carrots, celery, onions etc) it had bell peppers, green beans, and a whole bunch of other stuff my husband can’t eat all thrown in with seafood and topped off with chicken broth….. the saddest most bland soup ever tasted! When we asked switch it out for something else the manager kinda caught an attitude with us and acted like he didn’t care if he liked the food or not. My husband ended up getting what I have which is the spicy chicken soup and still it’s bland! We will continue to go to the 888 off wayside as we have never had any issues! It’s no surprise this location is completely empty….
Some of the food was good or ok, but there were dishes that were unevenly heated, not safe for consumption, and made us sick. Everything looked good, but upon tasting it, there was concern. I can't recommend them even partly on certain dishes because if one dish isn't done right, I'm not sure if the others were truly prepared correctly. I give the food 1 star. Their service was incredibly attentive and immediate. I just wish the food was as good as their service.

Finally tried them after living in the area for a few months. I ordered orange chicken specifically with white rice, because my husband is allergic to fried rice. When we got home and opened everything it was fried rice instead. Mistakes happen, no problem. I called to see what could be done, the manger did say if I brought back my fried rice order (BTW that I already brought home - per FDA they’d have to throw it away anyways!) he’d exchange it for my correct order of white rice. But since I’m 20 minutes away with kids who don’t travel well, and my sons already eating, I suggested my husband could pick up a small side of the correct rice order on his way home, and they let me know it was $1.80 & didn’t offer to void the price. They made it seem like im making this all up as an elaborate plan to steal a cup of rice lol. So basically I got the incorrect order, just saw I paid an upcharge for the incorrect order, now I have to ask my husband to go out of his way to stop AND we have to rebuy the RIGHT order?? It’s not the small mistake or couple of bucks, it’s the principal... $1.80, pocket change, cost them our business.
We place a doordash order, which consisted of the House Special Fried Rice and Fried Chicken Wings (8 Pieces). We requested the pork on the side. When we received the order, the pork was all throughout the dish (my husband eats pork, I don't). I had to pick over the whole dish to get it out. THE WINGS...the picture will speak to you. They look, for lack of a better word, ashy! I've never seen regular fried chicken wings look like this. I was truly stunned when I opened the box. They were extremely hard and dry. We ended up tossing them. A total waste of my hard earned money. I called the restaurant and was told that the manager would call me back this evening. Never did. Highly disappointed. We were looking forward to the food since we've been wanting to try the place for a while. A huge letdown. We'll never order from here again.
By FAR one of the worst restaurants food wise AND customer service. Bare with me for the read. My spouse ordered us deliver from here. She ordered me lettuce wraps on 5/19. I'm on medication that sometimes causes nausea and or lack of appetite, so I didn't open up my food til this evening. I served my one year old some of the chicken and fed her before going to get myself lettuce wraps. Well when I opened the lettuce there were bugs. Soooo I called the restaurant was given the run around and told I only had 24 hrs then was told I could bring the lettuce back and they would make me another. Ummm no thank you. So they really expected me to drive all the way over there just to show them. When I told the young lady that I was not ok with this she said the boss said that bugs in the lettuce is normal because it's organic. I know for damn sure that that is not how it works. I know there are bugs in alot of vegetables but it obviously shows they don't wash their produce, which makes me question their entire establishment. WILL NOT BE ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACH AND POSSIBLE STOMACH AND ORDER SOMEWHERE ELSE.

What a horrible experience. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken which was delivered, but was soggy with grease, it was putrid. When I called to complain the top manager told me there is nothing he could do, IT COMES IN AS FROZEN! So it's isn't much more than an expensive TV dinner. I would have sent a photo but I'd have to dig it at of the trash.
My husband and I ate here on Valentines evening. The people were polite. The egg rolls were ok. I ordered the orange chicken. It was over cooked with way too-many Orange rinds all I tasted was over cold chicken in old oil . I could not eat it. My husband ordered the Taso chicken he said he had better. I would not recommend this restaurant.
