It was great! I have never been inside. The place was clean. The employees were polite and took care of all of our needs. The food was great for a quick lunch stop. The salads are great. I had a fried chicken salad 👌

Not a big fan of fast food, but Zaxby's is an exception! Chicken is fresh and combos come with coleslaw and Texas toast and a drink. You order at counter, they give you a number and they bring your food to you. Prices are reasonable and the place is spotless! Customer service A+

Chicken sandwich was tender and flavorful, fries crisp and hot, fried mushrooms as always the star of my visits. Not the cheapest fast food but not too pricey and well worth the additional cost for the quality and portion sizes.

My youth group which consisted of 12 youth and 4 leaders visited this location on 1/15/23 around 11:30-12pm right after church. The young lady who took our order was very friendly and the manager on shift was amazing in making sure all of the orders were coming out quickly and accurately. Once all 16 orders were out and we sat down I could hear the manager praising the team for doing such a great job which they did! Because of her great example as a leader and a part of the team it really shined through to our group and made it a great experience!! I apologize I did not get her name, but high praise to the staff!!

Stopped to get lunch at 2:30pm. One of the best Zaxby locations I've been to. The staff were friendly and professional, focused on their duties. I didn't have to wait long for my food, the entire place was clean and inviting. Food also came out exceptional.

I stopped by to order lunch here a few weeks ago. Staff were very friendly and made sure everything was included in my order. When they put the drinks in the carrier, the sprite I ordered was in a cup that broke. The employee was very friendly and replaced the sprite before it went to me. Everything was also delicious and made to order.

My husband had the chicken finger meal with coleslaw, fries and Texas Toast. The 22 oz drink was included with the price. I had the Grilled Chicken Salad with Blue Cheese dressing and the Spicy deepfried Mushrooms. Both of us were equally pleased at the quantity and quality of the food. The sauces were very tasty and the chicken superb! Those mushrooms will also be on our next order! The setting was modern and rustic. The wait staff was polite and on task. This will be our new destination to have chicken. The Chocolate Chip Cookies and fresh baked brownies draw you in. Will have to try those next time.

I enjoy their Cobb Grilled Chicken salad- Definitely plentiful. The fried cheese bites are good and their nibbler sandwich which comes 2 in an order. Drive thru is pretty quick and order is always hot & fresh.

Jen was phenomenal and went above and beyond to ensure an amazing experience and correcting a minor issue I had. Alyssa and Rose at the front counter were very welcoming and greeted me as soon as I entered the restaurant and Joseph made my meal to perfection will definitely be back!

I have to write this review to advise if the 5 star service provided to me and my husband by The manager Rufus. After 2 consecutive days of poor service, long wait times and missing items (2 days in a row) in our meals, we were highly disappointed, very frustrated and ready to never return to this Zaxbys. I reluctantly decided to call during the day time for 1 last attempt at resolution. Rufus immediately responded with empathy and the utmost professionalism that I have received in a long time. He scheduled a time for me to come back to the store and personally prepared my husband and i’s food. The food was delicious and exceeded my expectations. Thanks to Rufus, our faith is restored in Zaxbys Spring Hill and we will continue to be loyal patrons at this establishment. What a credit to Zaxbys, Rufus is, the epitome of customer service! Thank you

This Zaxby's opened in 2018 and is located in a block of newly build fast food restaurants. Now that they are established they remain busy during their lunch and dinner hours. The interior is usually at least 8/10 for cleanliness and stock while staff is always delightful 10/10. Recommended this location for fast friendly service and good flavorful food.

The cashier liah was phenomenal she seen my one and a half year old wanting the chicken off the register of course she couldn't have it so she went to the back in her own personal collection and grabbed her own personal chicken from Zaxby's and gave it to my one and a half year old which made her day she is not put it down since she gave it to her

Was disappointed they discontinued the chicken bacon ranch avocado taco. I only got to try it once it was so looking forward to getting it again. Ended up getting my usual 4 piece tender which was delicious and satisfying as it has been in the past. This is my local Zaxbys, my family and I have been going here for some time and its always a fantastic experience. I’ve never had bad things to say about this location, and for the first time today I did. I always fill out the survey and leave a good review but I wasnt thrilled with my tenders this time around and a manager personally called my phone less than 10 minutes after I filled out the survey. He was so kind and generous and insisted they make it right for me even if it was at a later date. Even if it was a further drive I’d make a point to come back to this location. I’ll be a customer for a long time!!! Great service and food!!!

11/13/2021: Extremely friendly, fast accurate order, and very clean. We were greeted both when we walked in as well as when we left which was nice. Sweet tea was made just right and the meal was hot and fresh. As an added bonus, the cookies were ridiculously soft and delicious. Unlike the other reviewers who have not actually review this Zaxby's I am. Today was their soft opening and I was one of the lucky customers they got to come enjoy their food. I was able to try the onion rings the french fries the Texas toast the zingers and the boneless wings. Along with many of the sauces. The employees are friendly but obviously new. I can say that everybody should give this place a try as it was an enjoyable experience. It is a great new addition to Hernando County.

New to Spring Hill; the place is mobbed like the food is free.Never been before but it's a chicken finger & wing place set up like a fast food joint.Chicken fingers & slaw with fries are very enjoyable. Reasonable prices & free refills. Wings are probably good too. What's up with having to buy "optional" dipping sauce?

A friend of mine just loves this place, so I had to go see what all the fuss was about since I had never been to one. I stopped on my way home one evening and ordered myself a chicken sandwich meal and my 5 yr old daughter the Chicken strips. Then we headed right home, about 5 minutes away, 10 with traffic. Anyways by the time we got home our food was already ice cold (pre made and left out instead of making it fresh). Next, my chicken sandwich had a topping I specifically asked to be left off because I was allergic 🙄. Lastly, the chicken tenders were so hard that my daughter had to forfeit most of her meal. I mean the girl has some strong teeth, she can get through raw carrots like a rabbit 🐇. Anyways, I was super disappointed. We were looking for something different and interesting and we sure got it 🤢🥴 #WasteOfTime #WasteOfTime

New to the immediate area so lunch and dinner have been very busy since the restaurants opening. Food was good, nice and fresh. Prices are moderate to high. Staff was fast and friendly. Spent right at $20 for two 3 - piece chicken finger, combo deal. Order included one extra side.

Zaxby's is pretty good but the prices are a little inflated. They have a good variety of food to choose from. It's a great fun place to hang out with friends and family which is why I go there sometimes. The only thing I don't like is the drive thru, which is pretty packed and even if it isn't, the wait can be pretty long. If you decide to go be sure to try the "Wings and things", something I look forward to buying despite the 10 dollar price point. It comes with five boneless wings, toast, french fries, chicken tenders, and a drink.

First time ever having Zaby's chicken, it was really good! The only reason I give four stars instead of five, is due to the wait in the drive through. I was in line for over thirty minutes due to the amount of customers they had. From the time I ordered to the pick up window was about ten minutes. Still the food was worth the wait. I would suggest trying it at least once.

Their chicken sandwiches are good. The salad with chicken and blue cheese was exceptional. Right now they have a sauce called "General Tso", it's outstanding. Love it. Service could be better but overall a good 3xperience the three times we've been there.

I placed an online order and picked it up. When I got there, they started giving me someone else food. It was corrected. When I finally got my order and took it home, I realized they forgot to put in the sauce I requested.

Food is good, consistent and convenient. They are often crowded which is not a bad thing, and when it is, we get a large chicken finger platter to go and serve it up home style. So nice to have a local specialty chicken restaurant close by.

The food is excellent but I only stop if there's relatively no line. The problem with everything being made fresh is it's order to order, but your foods hot and delicious. And it's one of the few places that'll make grilled tenders for my gluten allergy son.

Good food, fair price for serving size. Party of two and the food wasn't brought out at the same time, and then the two sauce containers on my try were punctured due to rough handling prior to being served. When brought to the manager's attention they were very apologetic and dealt with the issues.

Very clean, Interior of the restaurant is decorated very well! Feels rustic! Good menu choices, food quality is always great.

I come to this location pretty often - get my egg rolls and salad or tenders and egg rolls (so good) theres been a hiccup here and there and sometimes they do forget the sauces but for the most part the team here is always really chill and kind - I’ve seen days where they are slammed and I just feel people can be hard on them and they seem to still stay in a good mood. Plus one time they gave me an extra egg rolls so that made up for any mistakes haha this location is great! Keep it up!

The service is excellent, the place is clean and beautifully decorated. The atmosphere is calm and friendly, perfect for eating. The milkshake was simply delicious! The food tasted good, but a little oversalted. The prices are affordable, typical of a fast food restaurant. I'll come back another day to check if the oversalted food was accidental or just how they prepare it 🤔 😅

The wings are ok by I find your selection completely remedial. You can sell me (2) 10 piece traditional wings with different flavors but you can't sell me a 20 piece traditional wings with 2 different flavors, which is exactly the same thing. That's ridiculous. I can literally go to any other wing establishment and have that done.

Inside was closed 9/39/2022, waited in drive through for a long time. After placing order with an employee using a tablet had to sit and not pull ahead to window. Received food had two orders of 4 piece fingers with slaw, fries and bread. Slaw was not in a dish with a lid so juice was in each compartment of the dish, bread got soggy, fries were in slaw. Bread was to dark almost burnt. Very poor service. 😢

Service was good, impersonal but efficient. Fried cheese bites would have garnered a higher rating had they not been cold. The General Tso chicken bites were also warm, not hot, and barely dragged through the sauce, however, they did include enough sauce in the bottom of my to-go container so that I could drench them myself. I'm still rating a 3 because I'm getting a tad bit soft for these people working under pandemic conditions. I'll try this location again.

Edit 7/25 Zax, I thought we had something special. I felt it and I Thought you did as well but now it's clear that what I felt was probably heartburn that has now turned to sorrow and disappointment. Before I go can I leave you this picture and ask one simple question of you. Zax, what the hell is this? Very under staffed for this location!! Drive thru wraps around the store!! I choose to go in 2 ladies working front line. They need more employees.. Customer service was ok. I can clearly see the cashier didn’t have much training.. I totally understand for I was an Assistant Manager of a fast food chain for 6yrs, I’ve been in food service for many years. She apologized I told her no worries your doing good job.. Please get some more employees..

This was our first time eating at this location. The Good: The seating area was clean and welcoming. The food was tasty. The woman delivering the food was very friendly. The Not Good: Food prep was slow even though there were not a lot of customers in the restaurant. The cashier wore his face mask around his chin - even when interacting with customers and making their drinks (because the lobby iced tea was empty.) Also, none of the food prep staff were wearing protective masks. I'm not one to freak out about who is/is not wearing a mask - that's an individual decision. However, at a food prep station during a pandemic, it seems the company would require this.

Be careful ordering online. I placed an online order through their website. When going to get the food I was told my order wasn't in the system, but the money had been pulled from my account. After speaking with the manager I was told the pending charge would fall off. It did not and now I have to contact my bank to dispute the charge.

Had their hottest sauce on the wings and was disappointed. I am from Jamaica so heat and spices are my friend. All this sauce did was just burn my lips that was it. And it was too vinegar based. I was disappointed the wings weren't what u thought it would be

Food was OK as usual- nothing to write home about. Bread / toast was not fresh, seemed like it was cooked before the store opened ( I was there @ 1:30 PM ) Also ordered chicken fingers that were suppose to be buffaloed but were dry, though they did give me sauce to dip them in-- every other zaxbys the come per soaked in sauce

They are getting sloppy on their drive thru this is the third time in a row they have messed my order up. How hard is it to package a 6 piece chicken finger meal? The last 2 times they could not get the sauce right or count to 6 as they shorted a chicken finger both times. This time you forgot my coleslaw but loaded the box with fries bathed in salt. If I come back I will start treating your employess to the same curtesy I give dunkin donuts by sitting in the line not moving till I check every detail.

Food was good but we ordered a blackened and blue chicken salad a side order of fried cheese and fried mushrooms. 3 orders in drive thru taken after our and 2 orders in lobby after ours were put out/given their food before us. The manager didn't say anything to the kitchen staff when i said something and just told me it depended on what we ordered. Gave other orders behind us the side of cheese curds and bigger orders than ours went out first even though we ordered before them. Terrible customer service.

Not sure why, but the fried are literally never seasoned when I order them. I mean, while reason I love the fries is that seasoned salt and now they skimp. Everything is good though. Friendly service, clean lot, relatively fast drive through.

Love the food. The drive through is ridiculous. It moves unbearably slow for no apparent reason. It takes forever to order because they are trying to upsell you constantly and there is no screen so they have to read your entire order back and the entire process is extremely slow.

My roommate and I went to the one next to the Walmart Neighborhood Market near Anderson Snow Rd . We were one of the first customers, our drive up service wasn't the greatest and had no clue the menu had changed we wanted the regular chicken sandwich . You didn't have it so we ordered the chicken finger club , the bread was soggy hardly no lettuce and the sandwich fell apart. The fries were cold no hot we paid seventeen dollars for our order it wasn't worth it at all won't be back. You don't realize I dreamed of your chicken sandwich all through the month of October and just came out of the hospital got disappointed. Also when we pulled around and my roommate went to roll the window down and rolled over a packet of ranch dressing which got all over the outside of the car and in the window please check the drive up window . At least the young lady handed us napkins for the mess . But disappointed in the over all service and food

Twice I have used the mobile app to place my order and twice I have arrived at the time it was said to be ready and it wasn't. The first time I waited almost 20 minutes for my order granted they just opened this location but this second time there was only a few customers sitting and eating and only a few cars in drive through. I give them credit getting the order together within 10 minutes and the free brownies for the wait. It was a kind gesture, but when I got home my order was incorrect resulting in one of the meals being tossed.

As you are right around the corner we have eaten here a few times. We received the 3 nibblerz meal and Cajun chicken sandwich. The nibblerz meal tasted fine but was poorly executed in the making. As for the Cajun sandwich I had to throw it away it was so nasty. I took a few bites and sorry to say gagged each time and struggled bc the chicken must have been slightly undercooked. It was rubbery and squishy. So I ate fries. Not sure when I’ll be returning.

Food is usually good, but this is the 4th time they messed up an order from their app. Missing drink and fries. Last time it was a whole combo missing. Going to have to start opening every box inside the store before leaving now...

This is our opinion only. I been waiting to eat at Zaxby's for a while now. Finally we got the chance to eat in. The dining room is very nice. Service was good. Chicken sandwich was too salty. The crust I thought was very good. We did not like the sauce. I can taste the old cooking oil in the chicken. The fries were too soggy and not hot at all. Very disappointed for being there for the first time. Going to give it another try at a different location. Looking to get a good result. Again our opinion. You're result might be a plus. Wish you good eating at Zaxby's .

Staff is incredibly, to put it nicely, off.. Tried this place twice and both times the person taking our order acted very slow and just could not get our order right. It should not take 10 minutes to order at a speaker, then have your food messed up to boot. Not that great tasting either..

I approached the counter and inquired about the 2 for $4 deal on nibblers. The cashier confirmed the offer, so I placed my order, opting to swap the regular sauce for medium Zack sauce. However, when she totaled it, the price came to nearly $8. I mentioned my belief that it should be $4, and she explained that they needed to put the sauce in a cup for it to be included. I clarified that I didn't want the sauce in a cup, but simply a substitution for the regular sauce. She seemed confused, so I requested assistance from a colleague, who managed to make the modification. Unfortunately, the chicken turned out tough and chewy on the inside.

The people that work there are a joke went there the other day ordered three kids meals got home got one kid's meal that had no chicken and half eaten fries in it so had to go back. Now I just ordered the family bundle and ordered extra ranch and got no ranch no Zack sauce no nothing. Ordered 2 funnel cakes and got no Carmel sauce for those either. it's not that hard people. It's on the ticket so apparently they don't know how to read It's more of hang out back there then a business.

Two stars because of quality consistency. When it's good it's good but I've eaten here 3 times and quality is all over the place. First time food was terrible but we chalked it up to being new. Second time it was perfect! Third the sandwich was great but fries tasted like they were made hours ago and the side of cheddar bites was half as good as previous trip. Feels like a roll of the dice eating here.

Extremely frustrated. I am a regular customer at your Spring Hill location. Today I ordered a couple of signature chicken sandwiches at the drive through and specified "sauce on the side" as I always do. Unfortunately a mistake was made and after getting home I elected to return the heavily sauced sandwiches to the store. I explained the situation and got two more sandwiches so you can imagine my frustration apon returning home only to discover the new sandwiches had even more sauce! I then called the store, spoke to a manager and returned once again to the store. My patience was wearing rather thin at this point and I now wanted a refund as well as my sandwiches. Although I was eventually able to eat lunch I feel it necessary to call out the rude and unprofessional manner in which the manager handled the situation. Not only was she rude to the kids working for her she also tried to blame me for not speaking to her personally when I came back the first time. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. Mainly because I was at risk of becoming rude myself if I had any further interaction with her. This happened Wednesday 7/21 at the Spring Hill store.

First time eating at Zaxby's. Heard great things about it. Honestly I wasn't impressed. The chicken was just basic and over priced. It's basically a more expensive version of McDonald's 🤷‍♀️ What's with the bread slice?🤔

The food is good, got off work went to go get some zaxbys its 9:20 i sit at the drive thru for 5 minutes and got nothing, cant go inside because the lobby is closed.

The will charge you extra and give you the same amount of food so if you cannot be sure don't order above the normal. When you get a large fry it's supposed to be 8oz.

I went there with a friend who liked it there. My first time. We were both extremely disappointed with the food. Sadly, it's a one and done for me. I know it's not really fair to write off someplace by one visit. But if I went to a lousy restaurant for the first time, and I really liked it, then they would receive a fantastic review. So there is my two cents worth.

I went in for something for my wife and I and the service was horrible. The food was cold and wrong and I asked the Manager on duty who was a girl named Dakota who was smug, disrespectful and condescending. She told me I’m sorry but you took a bite out of the food so I can’t remake it for you due to zaxbys corporate policy and giggled. I was floored and I am appalled, this chain hires people for obvious reasons like cheap labor which the business makes more money but it hurts the people putting that money in your pocket. DISGUSTING STAFF And DISGUSTING COLD UNDER SEASONED food.

We order from here regularly and always have had a Great experience. Lately, there has been something wrong with every order it seems like.

This particular location is a joke. Ordered 3 meals, I asked for sauce & the drive thru employee comes back and only gives me 1. I said could I please get 1 more? I had 2 adult meals. She only gives 1? She came back saying I have to charge you $.25 I said really? Even though I got 2 adult meals??? They don't give at least 1 sauce with each meal? I've never heard that before at all the other locations I've been to. That's not even the worst of it. Waited in a ridiculously long line to put my order in, only to receive soggy disgusting fries, and extremely chewy bread. Nasty. Won't be returning to this location again. Chick-fil-A is better anyway. Oh and they don't charge for sauces with your frickin meal! Just saying..

Had an online order. Arrived early and never was greeted by cashier never had my name called nor was my order at the online pick up spot. It had sat on the line until 445 when I asked about my food by then it was cold drinks were watered down when I asked the young girl if I could get fresh she did so with nasty body language. Good this I wasn’t from corporate doing your score because that would have failed your restaurant for sure! Loved Zaxby’s but now this location has given me a bad taste for your restaurant line!

Used to be a regular here. Always had hot fresh food. Now the normal seems ice cold food with half the amount of fries. Our last visit the food came out on paper plates with a literal half of a handful of (also ice cold) fries. I don't mean the food was sitting for a few minutes type cold, I mean there is no way the food we were given was cooked In even the last 20 minutes before we got there type cold. It was seriously depressing like we paid to eat someone's leftovers. It's easy to rip people off on fries as a side when you just plop some on a plate rather than in the normal "container". I don't ever ask for replacement food and didn't ask for a refund because the employees conveniently seemed to disappear. Now I understand why the people in front of us walked out upset. Should have taken that as a sign. Do better, this place is becoming a joke. Our last and final visit here was 10/30/22 at 7:15

Terrible set-up. Place is extremely small, difficult to get into. People waiting for the drive through block the normal parking. Inside; this is a wing place I'd never been to, inquired about a tiny sample of the sauces and worker and manager looked at me like I grew a third head. Then person at counter tells me it would be 25 cents to get a sample test. They finally relented. Seating; place takes your order up front, then good luck finding a seat. Food; still haven't found good wings in Florida 😣. Don't think I will return here, even for take out. Kids were not impressed with their #4s, and the nuclear and insane sauces leave a bitter after taste. Heat was good though.

Like some of the reviews below, this is my last visit. Service used to be top-notch, but has gone downhill. I can get overpriced food at many other nearby places, but to have the employees be rude at the same time. That's not good. To the larger older man working the drive thru window, when a customer pulls up, you say hi, not just stick your hand out,. Simple manners. It's not rocket science, and no need to be upset that I asked for sauce, it's a restaurant, it's your job. If your unhappy, or need a break, talk to the manager. Before destroying some else's business.

Was one of my favorite fast food places. However they have really cut back on there quality and quantity of there food. But prices have gone up. My wife ordered a grilled cob salad. And the grilled chicken looked like it was reheated leftovers. No tomatoes on salad hardly any cheese. Basically a big pile of rusty lettuce. I ordered a classic sandwich, chicken was dried out no mayo so very dry. Mostly my wife had to fix our dinner from zaxbys when we got home. It's not a cheap place to eat. They really need to have some quality control there. Staff was friendly enough, my guess is the owner is trying to cut costs. At the expense of quality..

I have given this place many tries since they opened. Each time I hope that maybe it will be better. The food is mediocre on it's best day. It's nothing great, it's dressed up fast food quality with a higher price tag. The staff isn't particularly friendly, they are just there. Several times I have gotten my food and it was cold. The boneless wing meal is a complete rip off. $7.50 for fries, a drink, and 5 of the tiniest chicken nuggets I have ever been served. Most recently, I placed an order online in their app and went through the drive thru to pick it. It took me 21 minutes to get through the drive thru, insanity. Unless there is a drastic change to their business model I won't be visiting this or any other Zaxby's in the future.

The food was terrible my bread was literally soggy at the bottom 🙄 you’d think as expensive as it is it would taste better !

I ordered food through the drive through and as I was leaving my steering broke on my truck. I was able to get off property and park it out of everyone's way and I was sitting waiting for 3 hours for a ride and a tow truck. They knew this as I went inside and informed them what happend and even asked for a cup of water for my dog. 2 and a half hours into my wait 2 sherrifs pull up and tell me zaxbys called the cops on us. After I told them exactly what happened and explained id have to wait for a minute as im from north florida. P.s. the girl behind the register said it would be fine and if we needed to go inside to charge a phone it would be fine. Shes cool. But obviously she didn't tell her manager.

When this location first opened with all the other Anderson snow fast food restaurants, I was served stale bread. After almost 10 years of never going back for not trusting the quality, I finally went back for the first time today and ordered a 6 piece tender meal. After waiting over 5 minutes seeing my order complete on the counter as a staff member was waiting for a single sauce cup to be poured to complete my order, I got home and looked into my box. There were only 5 tenders.
