We had a good experience here. Unfortunately, and that might be personal everyone, the place smelled strongly as sewer for some reason. You wouldn’t expect from a bakery. The selection of baked goods can be seen in the photos. Very minimal. I was excited to see real baked goods with muffins and croissants to begin with. We do not get coffee here so no feedback on the drinks. Definitely conveniently located.
Definitely a great coffee place outshining the SB and DBs of the world. Not sure, but probably "family owned". My daughter frequents the ripoff corporate coffee places, and indicated Clingan's Junction was much better, and maybe the best she ever had! That is definitely a compliment from the GenZ peeps. When we camp again in a few weeks, my daughter asked if we could stop there again. Perfect location for a driving break to and from Sequoias and Nations Christmas Tree on 180. Also had a freshly baked scone...one of my personal kryptonites. We did not explore the cabins. Looked like they had giant connect 4 game outside.
We stepped in for a quick coffee on our way to Sequoia and Kings Canyon, and were pleasantly surprised by this super cute cafe. We only got a cold brew (which was delicious) but the establishment was beautiful and looked like every single corner of it was built with a lot of thought and love ♥️ will try to drop by again to try more from the menu!
We had Bagels and Snicker drinks. They were fresh and delicious.
There's a reason this place has a solid 5-star review, and you understand within 10 seconds of speaking to the staff. Great coffee. Absolutely incredible fresh-baked breakfast food. And the friendliest people. Both the owners and other patrons (we visited twice) were super nice. Stopped by during the holidays but forgot to leave a review right away. A must-stop if you're on your way in or out of Sequoia and enjoy good coffee or good bagels or just good people.
This little restaurant has great breakfast, great coffee!
We spent a night in one of the cabins after a day at Sequoia and Kings National Parks, and patronized the coffee shop for breakfast before departing. The cabin we stayed in was perfectly serviceable. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and well kept - the bathroom is on the small side, and this is not a fancy cabin by any means, but perfectly fine if your main reason in town is enjoying the parks. The coffee shop is excellent. Great drinks, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. We also got sandwiches for lunch to-go, which was great for later in the day. Highly recommend the coffee shop even if you are not staying in the cabins.
I didn't stay in the cabins, but did stop by for breakfast. The coffee cafe has a warm atmosphere. The friendly staff are great additions to the food on offer. Something satisfying can be found whether you are looking for a quick grab-and-go breakfast sandwich or a sit down coffee and scone treat.
What a great spot to stop on your way to the Car Haven or National Forest! We had the homemade scones (the lemon was so good) and some lattes. 5/5 loved it all. Will stop there anytime we head up!
My partner and I drove all across California to every national park & visited a handful of coffee shops during that time. Clingan's had the BEST Chai & Mocha Lattes of anywhere we went.
A wonderful little coffee shop with WiFi and delicious food. I would come back every day if I could. They have games on the tables, indoor and outdoor seating, soft chairs, and places for you to charge laptops and cellphones. Everyone was so nice and i highly recommend stopping in
Woah. Was here for about 2 hours playing boardgames and eating with friends. The place was always streaming in people. Because it is SO GOOD and the best option nearby. Cute cafe vibes but also with homemade bagels which were delicious. The best chai tea I have ever had in my life oh my god. Wonderful cafe highly recommend
My wife and I stopped in just for some coffee on our way to Kings Canyon. My wife also got a jalapeño bagel. I got a couple of bites of it and we both agreed that it was one of the best bagels we'd ever had. We hoped to stop again on our way out of Kings Canyon, but they were closed so we didn't get round two, unfortunately.
Arrived around 0900. Five people ahead of me. Only two employees working. They were working as hard as they could and were stressed. Took about 15 minutes to place order. Took another 20 to get order. They had great keto options to include heavy cream as a dairy option. Ketofied their signature coffee ☕️ drinks. A Snickers and a Milky Way flavored latte. With all that said, the wait was worth it.
Amazing little place if you’re traveling to Sequoia! The service was fast and SO friendly, and everyone here was warm and welcoming. I came here to celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend, and Michelle took such great care of us! The food was incredible!!! The coffee was even better! Please stop here if you’re looking for a great breakfast with amazing service and cozy environment!
This is a bit of a drive but well worth it. The coffee, smoothies and breakfast sandwiches are so good. Seating is limited and it’s always busy. Being a small business they are not fast but their food is worth a little wait.
Fantastic baked goods at Clingans Junction. The scones and bagles are worth coming back for, and this place has a great view of the surrounding valley to boot. Great place to start the day. Must try the "Every Ring." You're welcome.
LOVED! We stayed at the rv park within 5 minutes walking distance. Such a cute coffee shop!! The coffee I would say is average for a coffee shop, I am also a coffee snob so 🤷♀️. I loved the country music playing inside, it’s what I listened to growing up. They have several easy games available as well. It has a nice outdoor patio and also a sitting area on a hill that has goats at the top. :) Highly recommend!!
Had THE most delicious blueberry scone- baked on premises- warm vibe; great for a coffee and pastry before heading up into Kings Canyon. My husband had the cheese-jalapeño bagel (again, made in their own bakery) and raved about it. Go there and check it out!!
This is my favorite coffee shop! What amazing homemade Bagels and scones! Their TNT drinks are the absolute best if you need a boost to your day. Very kid friendly with games at tables and a grass area outside for a little picnic
Yum! Nice staff, great bagels and good coffee, cool interior
Amazing coffee place, great service and quality! The scones were 10/10 and the espresso one of the best we had!
The drinks and bagels are so good there. Love it. Its so peaceful inside I live close by so I go there a lot. I really recommend it to people just passing by
We dropped by this place on our way to the National Parks. The food was unbelievable good and the espresso was pretty good (as Italians, espressos are often butchered everywhere). The atmosphere was fantastic, cozy, welcoming. Good job, folks!
We had great scones and drinks. The gas stove have beautiful hear to warm us up after our car camping last night. The Gemini summary is right on!
Such a cute place practically in the middle of nowhere! They get plenty of business from travelers coming from and going to King's Canyon, and lines could be long. If you're patient, it will definitey pay off. The frapps are awesome. I had a blackberry white mocha because it was so unique. The lemon coconut white chocolate cookie was to-die-for, as I imagine the other cookies are as well. Worth a stop!! After your visit, run across the street and buy some cherries or a pie from the sweet family with the fruit stand.
A very cozy and nice place. The coffee is excellent and there's a large selection of syrups.
We had the Clingans coffee and food and it was a great start to our day before venturing into the nearby Sequoia and Kings Canyon NPs. Service was great, bagel sandwiches were yummy and the coffee was tasty! All you can ask for.
Amazing food ✅ Incredible drinks ✅ Warm, welcoming hospitality ✅ This spot is an absolute must-stop! Whether you’re grabbing a coffee, enjoying a bite, or just taking in the vibe, Clingan’s Junction has it all. ☕🥐🏡
My friends and me were travelling from King’s Canyon to Yosemite and stopped for petrol. Cross the street was this coffee house. So I went to buy coffee while my friends was refueling. I took my order away but the place was so pleasant that if I had time I could imagine spending there nice afternoon. The place offers homemade bagels and even though I wasn’t hungry I had to try one. I have chosen with avocado and it was awsome. The coffee was great too. BTW I have experience with American oat milk that it’s not possible make foam of that so I was fine with that when nice staff warn me:) However tip for you it’s about brand of milk. Even from plant milk it’s possible:) Come to my country. 🙂
I had a bagel with cream cheese and avocado, and it was absolutely delicious! It was fresh, soft on the inside, and perfectly crispy on the outside. The atmosphere inside the café was warm and cozy. An ideal spot to relax. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit!
We absolutely loved this coffee shop!!! Wonderful drinks - we had a sugar free white chocolate latte and a breve, both with well balanced espresso. They also have a really family friendly atmosphere - our toddler ran around outside on their patio where they have a big connect 4 set up, and she enjoyed the table games they had inside. Many families came through with lots of kids and the staff were friendly and patient. Would highly recommend! Great spot!
These ladies were kicking butt with a crazy breakfast rush 🏆👏💪 The food was SO good. Drinks looked great, I just got hot tea. Cute cafe with cool atmosphere and good amount of seating room. Gets busy!!
Amazing baker. I'd been looking for a place to stop and load up on food on my trips to Kings Canyon Park. Likely I will stop here every time from now on. Check my photo- you want to smile? grab a Spicy Meat Lovers Cheese Bagel- then after a hike around the Grant Tree trails stop at the picnic ground just above the grove. Find a spot, listen to the creek and enjoy. All the baked goods are exceptional ( i worked in a coffee/pastry for shop for years so i have some sense things). I've had super fluffy bagels, the best scones I've ever eaten, and keto rings ( i didn't even know what that was but it looked good- yummy savory is what it is... "flourless bagels" I was told). A great little touch that I loved was when I pulled out my cream cheese and wonder how I'd spread it... they had included a little wood knife. Good tea too. The folks are very nice and do their best to deal with the strange flow of tourist traffic and online orders. **if you are visiting the parks when bears are active- don't fill your car with brownies and sweets- just get enough you will eat that trip or use the metal food boxes in the park. Don't be fearful - do be smart. I only mention it since most tourists don't think about such things until they see the signs in the park.
The cabin offered us a wonderful time during our stay. We loved it,very clean and cosy. Heating in the room, ac,microwave, fridge, coffee machine, blow-dry, etc. The cafe is absolutely amazing with delicious food.

Coffee is the best around here. Bagel sandwiches and scones are amazing. The lemon scones was the best one I ever had.
This coffee shop is a must stop! The interior is so nicely decorated and the staff is friendly. The best part is they have gluten free options. My celiac husband got a keto breakfast bagel sandwich!
So happy to find this place. The food, smoothies and coffee were all great. But what really stood out was the customer service. Both of the women who helped us were very kind and helpful. If you’re looking for a place to stop on your way in or out of Sequoia I would highly recommend!
Sandi and Jessica were very friendly and had great suggestions for coffee and food. Amazing shaken churro latte, better than our routine Starbucks. Would recommend 10 out of 10! Very cute coffee shop decor too!
This coffee shop is a great stop on the way up to Kings Canyon! A lovely coffee house with kind service and delicious coffee. I had the snickers blended mocha and it was perfection. This will be a must stop the next time I visit the parks.
Cool Old Gas Station turned Coffee, Breakfast Stop!! Cabin rentals available and a nice chill atmosphere all around!!
Great WiFi! Great coffee! Great atmosphere and staff! Love coming here. Great outdoor and indoor seating. Limited parking, but additional parking located in side streets and across the highway.
Stopped here for an iced mocha on my way to Sequoia-Kings Canyon for the day. Ended up adding in an everything bagel turkey sandwich so that I wouldn't have to worry about getting food in the park. Great decision for both the coffee and sandwich. The coffee was nicely done and the sandwich was very good. It did take a bit to get the sandwich made, but it was worth the wait. I'd definitely stop here again and so should you. Note: I didn't stay at the cabins.
Stop here! Delicious coffee, fantastic baked goods (lemon scones and cinnamon buns 🤤), and very friendly service. Thank you! Highly recommend.
Really adorable cafe with great food and drinks. I ordered the “Basic Ring” which was a bagel with sausage quiche. It was really good! And the mocha frappe was awesome too. Thanks Clingan’s
Rented a car at Fresno airport and the lovely man at enterprise lot recommended stopping here on the way to the Sequoias. It was by far the best coffee that my husband and I have ever had…and the everything bagels were to die for!!! Could not possibly recommend it more! Rerouted our trip on the way to Yosemite to just stop here again.
This place is absolutely charming. The staff is exceptional especially Myshelle and the coffee was the best coffee I’ve ever had this side of the Sierra‘s gingerbread latte scrumptious and hot cocoa five star. I will definitely be coming back anytime I’m in or around this area don’t forget the scones they are exceptional.
Dreaming of the next time we can visit this shop. Everything we tried was SO good, coffee cake, everything bagels, quiche just to name a few. Staff was also very friendly. We also stayed in one of thier cabins, Mimi’s cottage. The room was basic but clean and well priced. The email communication about check in and out was very clear. Awesome location for visiting Kings Canyon and Sequoia.
We went for coffee and bagels. It was excellent! The atmosphere is great and service was wonderful. Very friendly staff and courteous! We did not experience the lodge part of this location but the cabins looked inviting and very cozy! We plan to make another trip to try out the lodge.

We got breakfast here. It took a while to get our order right but the quality of the bagels absolutely made up for it, the staff was very friendly too. I’d say 4.5 stars but google only works with whole stars.
After spending a few days at Hume Lake, this cafe was recommended to us by someone saying, “You HAVE to stop here on your way back”. So we did. And it was worth it. You can tell the bagels are freshly made and menu offers lots of different bagel sandwich options. We stopped in around 10:30am and the place was packed. Stood in line for about 15 minutes and then waited an additional 20 minutes for our food. The interior has lots of cozy seating options, so I recommend dining in. There were also tables outside with umbrellas for shade. We ordered the Cali Ring (turkey, avocado, provolone and sauce) on a jalapeño bagel and the Basic Ring (sausage quiche and sauce) on a jalapeño bagel. The bagels came cut in half which was perfect for sharing. We noticed that those who ordered a scone and a drink had a far less wait time than those who ordered sandwiches, so if you’re in a rush, order online ahead of time or just grab one of their baked goods. We also had a vanilla latte which was very sweet. The atmosphere is aesthetic, but with the large amount of people waiting in line and a couple groups with screaming children, it’s harder to enjoy the food peacefully. It seemed like they could use an extra pair of hands on staff when we visited, but they were doing their best and it was worth the wait. Really nice stop on our road trip home from Hume Lake.
Had the coffee so can only speak to the fare. Sandwiches and coffee were nothing special but the fact they were open early en route to the park was great!

Horrible doors. Super sharp and slammed on my finger. Although the coffee isn’t bad and the service was good.
