We love the ribs!!!! Nice and clean. Love the decor. Nice place to stop at. Very Nice Staff!!! When passing thru this town stop here call and check on open hours and days. Entrance is on the right side of the building. FYI: Make another stop at the square there's a THEATER and currently FREE Admissions due to the pandemic. They have good movies playing for the family. Call and find out the days and times they are open.

The food is amazing! I travel all over Texas eating American food and this place has the best burgers and chicken. The prices are very reasonable and the food is definitely worth the money. If you love good food and a farm themed dinning room than this is the place for you.

Walking into this place I honestly had no clue what to expect. On the inside it is super nice and cozy, and very well done. We were recommended by a local to try the BBQ Brisket. Within our group we all tried different plates and Wow! Every single plate I tried was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I had a bacon cheeseburger, and to be quite honest, it very much may be the best burger I’ve ever had. We had brisket fries as an appetizer and it was fantastic. Both portion sizes and price are perfect. You can’t go wrong with this place! I would 100% willingly go out of my way to stop here! On top of it all, staff was extremely friendly, and made sure we were set. Thanks for a great lunch!

The food was all amazing! I had the ribs and brisket with salad and baked beans and my husband had the three meat platter and coleslaw. The flavor was perfect and the waitress was nice, we came in over lunch rush so a little bit of a long wait time but completely understandable. Would definitely come here again!

Absolutely, hands down, the BEST brisket here! We accidentally stumbled upon this jewel on the way to visit our daughter and new grand baby & have decided it will be our new tradition to stop here every time we drive through to visit! The catfish, sausage and bacon cheeseburger was outstanding. Also ordered the triple meat with ribs brisket and sausage. Catfish was delicious, the cheeseburger was the size of a belt buster and sausage flavored perfectly. Ribs were fall off the bone and the brisket had the perfect tug.

My family and I love Irene’s! We’ve been about 4 times since moving back to Texas! We have yet to take our son but we usually come in with our daughter, just bought food to also use for her party this weekend! The chopped Brisket sandwich is our go to! Great people, Great food and very comfortable atmosphere. I met the owner one day at another store. I noticed him buying some nice cuts of beef and I jokingly said I'm coming to your place for dinner. He told me his place is Irene's bbq and grill just down the street, I should come by sometime and that I wouldn't be disappointed. He was right. Be sure to check their hours though so you're not disappointed because they're closed. Their hours are Sunday 11am - 2pm Tuesday - Friday 11am - 2 pm And on Thursday and Friday they open a second time from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Sausage ok. Beans and tater salad very good. Loaded baked potato certainly was. Eyed other customers’ burgers and catfish and every plate looked scrumptious, and was picked clean! Worth getting off the highway for a meal!

The potato salad has a strong dill pickle flavor. The sausage was okay. The chicken fried steak was extremely tough. My husband said it was thick but really hard to cut. I also asked for beans along with the fries on his dinner and only got the fries. Kinda disappointed

The potato salad has a strong dill pickle flavor. The sausage was okay. The chicken fried steak was extremely tough. My husband said it was thick but really hard to cut. I also asked for beans along with the fries on his dinner and only got the fries. Kinda disappointed
