Have been here for breakfast a few times. This was the first time for dinner. Service is good, greeted enthusiastically as I entered and quickly seated by the bar,which gave me the feeling of being in a club rather than a diner. Ordered a Greek salad with grilled chicken and I enjoyed it with the tsaziki sauce,but the chicken wasn't seasoned enough for my taste. I will be back again to try other dishes.

Went for dinner and food was ridiculously good. Better than I would expect from a diner if I’m being honest. Penne Vodka with fried chicken was probably the best I’ve had. Better than most Italian restaurants I’ve tried on the island. Service was so fast & so good too! Honestly would return today if I could 🫠🫠🤣

Great family friendly atmosphere. Food is delicious. Multiple televisions. Bathrooms are amazing. Wait staff are great and prices are good.

A beautiful morning with my son in a chic Hylan diner . Very polite, not intrusive and hospitable service will make you feel like the dearest and most respected guest, fresh and tasty food, chic design, clean establishment. It looked like they want to take care of the environment which is very good. We will be back soon , thank you so much.

The eggs were perfect! I ordered bacon and it was a lot!! Not too much, just perfect! The service is always good. If you go in the evening ask for Josephine, she’s the best! This morning I believe Marissa was our waitress, just lovely!

Been to this diner a few times for breakfast. Food and service are excellent. In a world where diners are disappearing this place keeps the tradition alive.

Tried this diner today for the first time for breakfast. Slow service food took more then 30 mins while other tables that arrived later got their food much faster. Same waiter so no idea. I order standard breakfast items waffles, omelette, bacon. Nothing fancy. Not attentive, our party of 6 was sitting for a bit with no food and no one bother to ask, until the manager or owner walked by to all the tables to ask about how was the food. He was a bit surprised and our food came out 5 mins later. He never came back to explain. The waiter was clueless as well. My coffee cup was empty as well no one came to ask for refills.... Diners with no refills OMG. I had to ask for it, took a while as well. Cold coffee with breakfast is not ideal. Table had used plates that they didn't care to remove while we were eating. Wife's overcooked with a bitter taste. Mine was ok. Standard diner food. At this point we were like let's just get over with this. Usually we would go to colonnade diner on hylan, thought we give this place a try being closer and newer. I'll see how things are or how we felt like coming back here in a FEW months. Update came back and service and food quality was better. I guess it took time to work it out and get good staffs.

The service is always excellent and the food is always fresh and good. Sometimes, I order delivery, it comes rally fast and always hot.

I really like this diner. It’s nice and clean. I am going through long covid so my taste and smell has been completely altered since October 2021. I can tell that some things would taste really good if I wasn’t going through this, other than that, the service is excellent. Our waiter Alex was great, he was very personable and helpful. I can’t wait for my taste and smell to go back to normal so I can really rate the food. I do definitely recommend this dinner though

This is a new diner in a familiar location. There have been restaurants here for decades. However, this venue has undergone some nice changes. The building is new and bright, neon signage makes it easy to spot. There is a retro look to the outside. There was music playing in the parking lot, standards, nice. That gave you a welcome feel. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the menu looked great with many food choices including panini, burgers, pastas, salads, and breakfast items. I especially liked that you could order a side of half onion rings and half french fries. My food was adequate, but not flavorful and seemed slapped together. I ordered an Italian chicken panini that had no seasoning. Very bland. My companion enjoyed her food, however, an avocado salad. The server was hard to locate because she was serving another area and didn't seem to be scanning to check on tables. Management needs to ensure there is enough staff. I went on a weekend night. The bathroom, nicely designed, was a mess. It had not been attended to with paper all over the floor; the wastepaper basket was overflowing with paper towels and the stalks were generally dirty. Despite the glitches, I'd go back to give this another try, especially for breakfast. Maybe it was short staffed, but aside from the wider food selection, I don't see much of a difference between this diner and others in the area

Food is fine. Big portion but I rather having good quality than big portion. 2.5 dollars for 1/4 avocado. And the avocado looks like having cancer. I ordered non caffeinated tea. If I can give it a zero, I would. I have been coming here for years. As of lately, the last year, the service has become worst each time. From being squished in a small booth, to wrong orders, to racist managers saying disgusting things to the staff while the place is full, to orders being served cold, to cooks not listening and having to return the order 3 TIMES!!!… The diner is very close to my house and refuse to ever return. Rather spend my money elsewhere.

If I could give zero stars I would , I put it an order for delivery that came out to $68.00 , it took OVER an HOUR & 15 minutes to be delivered ,the food was COLD , one entire meal was INCORRECT , given no receipt. Completely unsatisfied and disgusted to say the least. Wouldn't recommend or order from this diner again. Absolutely unacceptable and a waste of money.
