Best bagels on the island - only bad experience I had was when a younger kid gave me the wrong ratio of cream cheese to bagel (too little) and the smear area was in the center, leaving the edges unfilled, but everyone needs to start somewhere!

Other people were there and complained as well. Someone asked what time do you close and they didn’t give a straight answer.

Joey and his crew handled a few catering orders for us, never a disappointment. I host several lunch events and client appreciation events... The sandwich trays are packed with fresh product, the prices are extremely affordable (compared to other places in the area that nickel and dime you for everything). Day to Day they are the best bagel store around, but definitely think about them next time you are throwing a party or an office event.

FINALLY FOUND A PLACE THAT HAS GREAT WHOLE WHEAT AND CINNAMON RAISIN BAGELS. PLENTY OF EVERYTHING BAGEL SEASONING. WILL DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK.

I’m always in search of a good bagel. Heard a lot about this place so of course I gave it a try. Bagel has a nice shine no bubble marks though I like to see the bubble marks. Asked for a everything bagel however was disappointed because there was barely any everything seasoning on it . As far as bite good bite soft on the inside and definitely good taste to it. I give this bagel a 7 which is a good score in my book. My suggestion for them would just be add more everything seasoning and your score will go up.

I love their bagels but they need to update their page in regards to their hours and their phone number. It says they open at 5 am and I’ve gone several times at 6 am to see they are still closed. That’s fine, but their Google page says they are open at that time so it needs to be fixed. Also, they NEVER answer their phones. I know they get very busy so phone orders might be difficult. Just take the number down instead of making it a gamble if you will pick up the phone or not. Edit: Thank you to Pio for responding to my post. I apologize for not seeing your new Covid hours. The only issue remaining is answering the phones. Solid bagels though, definitely one of the best on the island.

Place has the best BEC and bagels on the island hands down. Sometimes they mess up the order but everyone is human. Just always check your order before you leave. Literally the only thing but its the type of place you go to for the food above all else.

Bagels are great and staff is very good. Wish they made gluten free bagels. So hard to find on the island anywhere as someone who can't eat gluten anymore.

Bagels are usually fresh and on point however, it is common place to get your order mixed up and not at all what you want. Therefore three stars

The food is great and almost all of the people behind the counter are great, I say that to say this, the Latin guy behind the counter with the shoulder length hair is terrible his service is awful he is personally 3 for 3 messing up my order. He refuses to write anything down. He walks away from customers waiting at the counter. If your here have someone else make your food because atleast it’ll be correct.

Alwats loved the bagels however recently the sesame bagels are burnt on the top. I had to throw out 4 bagels out of 6 because they were too wrll done. I now have to tell them no well done sesame.

I would've given them a much higher score if they knew how to make a bacon egg and cheese the right way. Instead of putting the cheese on the egg while its cooking on the grill so it melts all over it, they put the cheese on the bottom half of the bagel where it just sticks to the bread and doesn't even taste like it's on it. Ordered a BLT got the ends of the loaf of bread never heard of that before. Freezing cold. Ordered a light and sweet coffee came out black. Ordered an egg and cheese waited 15 minutes drove back home 5 minutes later to a cold sandwich smh. Paid 14 dollars to eat the ends of loaves of burnt white bread and cold eggs. Terrible.

I go to this place once in a while the bagels are good but what I did not like was the customer service. To begin with the person who took my order and was making the bagels put on one glove and then started to scratch his face with the other hand that had no glove picked up garbage from the floor and then continue to make the food. Then the person who I tried to have a conversation with and tell him my order cut me off and told me that he knew what I ordered and gave me the price so I gave him my card paid for it. While I waiting for my food and then when I got my food he tells me oh I didn't charge you for the other sandwich Well if you would have not cut me off when I was talking to you you would have known what was going on. Won't go there anymore

I went to this bagel shop twice at about 1030am. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on an onion bagel, both times I went the order was wrong... the first time on a roll, the second time on a plain bagel... I will not was my time on a third time... go somewhere else... btw, the bagels suck...

This place has terrible customer service. The workers pick and choose who they want to serve next, apparently the order of the line doesn't matter when they have their regulars they want to take care of first. This has happened more than once and the last time it happened a person that was 8 people behind me in line got the last bagel I needed. Will not give them the business anymore.

Besides already being expensive, I went in for for an egg sandwich on a roll but they had none. I happen to have rolls from just leaving the bakery so I asked if they could use mine. They said sure then charged me full price. When I questioned it they said, " That's the way it works." Great answer! Bagel store on Rossville Ave is so much better and nicer workers.

Just got told i couldnt have a toasted bagel because “the toaster is off” never heard that in my life. the grill i understand. a toaster is a small appliance you press a button to turn on. so lazy. been going here since in 15, never again

Went here with 6 people and got bagels. The workers were beyond nasty … they can’t deal with people paying together. They were shaking their heads getting flustered and speaking in Spanish about us (we understand Spanish) never again will I come here

If you wake up later in the afternoon on a weekend don't come to this place. They always close the grill before the store is closed and always run out of certain types of bagels and also never have rolls late in the day. This is the second consecutive time I came after 12pm on a Sunday and the store isn't willing to make me a breakfast sandwhich. Employees are more worried about going home then servicing their customers. Happens 5 times out of 10 and is increasingly frustrating

I made the mistake of going there this morning actually wanting something specific. I asked for scrambled eggs and sausage and for the god only knows how many time, I didn’t get what I asked for. I also asked for toast with butter. I got toast no butter. I know they know how to use butter because the bagel I got for my kid was basically in butter soup. Instead of trying to act like the cool kid on the block focus on what is a very simple job. I’m done there. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Today I was stunned by the service.. nevermind the amazing bagels everytime that never let me down.. but the service. Its ashame to see such a good establishment treat their customers with 0 respect. As a disabled man approached the counter with a grubhub order that he was delivering, the order included two beverages that were placed on a holding tray. The man asked for an extra tray to put underneath to make sure it was sturdy so the drinks didnt drop. The man working replied with “why? I dont get why you need another one! I cant give these out to you for free. But tell me why”. Its a single tray that he was asking for To ensure he was able to hold and tranport the order properly. The man behind the counter did not want to accommodate the man at all knowing he was disabled. Until he noticed all the customers looking at him crazy maybe then he proceeded to give a tray because maybe he knew he was wrong? But its ashame to know accommodating a disabled person is a problem and has to be questioned. If i could give zero stars i would.

Favorite bagel place my whole life and today ordered 2 bagel BLT’s 1 turkey bacon - came basically uncooked and 1 small piece of Tomato and hardly any lettuce The regular bacon one the same and way too much bacon . They put way too much of everything on a bagel . Charge less and add normal amounts . When you say light butter I scraped off and it filled a 2 oz container . $17 for 2 BLT bagels and not done correctly very disappointed.

Ordered a flagel with Lox and eggs. The gave me ONE Egg and one slice of lox and charged me $12. Outrageous. Any place that would do that is incompetent to think a customer would be satisfied with that as a meal. Very skimpy and over priced - CROOKS. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese with hash brown on a roll. I saw them microwave the sausage and toast the hasbrown in the bread toaster for less than 30 seconds. I thought to myself to cancel my order and walk out but I thought maybe they know what they are doing. Worst sandwich I have ever had. They used to take their time, cook their food on the griddle and serve customers. Now they are just trying to push customers quickly out the door. Not worth it.

I pre ordered 2 bagels here online for pick up. When I got there I asked for napkins. Whoever was working refused to give it to me because I didn't type it in the pick up order online. I then asked for a straw and that was also a big issue. Because of this I will never come back here again. I can't believe they were giving me a hard time about napkins for the food that I purchased.
