Garlic Chicken, generous amount of food, hot and sour soup... great place for a quickie delicious meal. Their combo plate can be shared by two not so heavy eaters.

This was my go to place for bbq pork. Now I live in Florida but when we come to visit the kids this is generally my first stop. All their items are delicious in my opinion.

They are quick on taking orders. They amount of food that they give is amazing for the price, and their homemade hot sauce is 🔥. The best BBQ pork!

The food is decent. The vegetables in their dishes seem to be fresher than most Chinese cuisine restaurants. They don't always have the basic dishes that you would expect to see ready in their buffet type display. So you have to wait if you want things like pot stickers, egg rolls, etc. The serving sizes are pretty standard for Chinese takeout. The prices are not cheap even though this isn't a gourmet restaurant. Expect to pay $8-$10 per dish. This is only take out, there is no option to sit and eat, even outside. The employees have heavy accents and it is difficult to communicate with them, so stay off your cell phone so you can order and not hold up the line. Also, just expect a line in their small lobby.

The two item combo comes with a lot of food. The sweet and sour pork was flavorful. The teriyaki chicken was very good. The pork fried rice and pork chow mein was average. At certain times, the line can get long but I usually get thru quickly. Good place to go for the money you pay.

Decent Chinese. Huge portions. You have to pay for extra sauce. Not always easy to park right in front when they are busy. And the line to order is confusing and all over the place.

Why are they soooooo rude?! I had a taste for their fried chicken and vegetable delight. They didn't have the fried chicken and said it would be 30 minutes. I come back in 30 and the other woman tells me 45 minutes. It not what they say but how they say it. They are just plain rude.

Ordered party trays... Chow mein was good. Broccoli and beef - flavourful, but i felt like I was eating a side of Broccoli and hardly any meat. Orange chicken - don't order for catering. Chicken had too much breading and very mushy. Not good at all. I need to put in an air fryer to crispy it up.

Let me start off with saying this place was always a go to place for us, decent food at a decent price with large portions, my wife got a one item plate, which usually their reduced size to go trays are stuffed to the gills, this time it was only half full, very disappointed usually one of these plates would go for a dinner and a snack, now it was barely a dinner if that. we may have to forgo this place if these are the typical portions now while still keeping a high price on the 1 item plate.

I usually get Mongolian beef. the beef is hard and chewy. Everything else is ok but you waste your money on inedible beef.

I bought fried chicken, we got fried chicken soaked in sauce. I thought it was a soup.

Update, Monday, December 8, 2025 PM Wound up here tonight because CHOW TO GO is closed on Monday! The deep fried prawns are not good. Way too much batter! Get the ones from Chow to go. The hot and sour soup was OK. If you have a stuffy nose that will certainly clear it out. They did a pretty good job on the Chinese chicken salad. I asked for extra dressing on the side and that’s exactly what they gave me. The barbecue pork was atrocious. I think it was a small piece to start with and when they cooked it it really got dry and tough. The larger pieces stay at least a little moist in the middle. I do not recommend that you get the barbecued pork unless you can ask for a larger chunk. All in all we will be back to chow to go later this week. ———————— Update: Sunday, September 28, 2025 PM CHINA EXPRESS… I’ve given you more chances than I should. I am done with you. Dried out rock hard sweet-and-sour pork that should’ve been thrown out instead of being sold! Dried out chicken legs that were chewy as jerky! How can you sell this stuff to customers❓❓ The Filipino chow mein was OK because it was cooked to order. All of your food would be good if it was fresh and hot and cooked to order. But I’m not willing to pay another $30 just to throw out $30 worth of food because it’s inedible! I’m not giving you another chance. Next time I will try Dynasty or Dave Wong‘s. Or maybe even Chow to go on West Hammer Ln.. Those places don’t have a steam table where stuff sets out for hours and gets petrified! I will miss the lovely ladies that serve the food at CHINA EXPRESS but I will not miss the food. My son stops here once in a while. He picks up food to bring over to the house to eat. I noticed they made a few changes. I always look forward to going here though, I get the best service from both Regina and Su‼️ Both are amazing employees that take really good care of the customers. I want to say Regina has been there for decades. 🥰 Tonight I ordered the Chinese chicken salad and fried chicken legs. Both were good. The chicken legs are plump and tasty…lots of meat. The salad has plenty of chicken and has a nice tangy dressing. The only thing I would like to see is the lettuce chopped up a little bit smaller. Other than that I really enjoyed my dinner and I know I will return soon! Couple of different items that I had not had before…the Filipino pork chow mein was made with really small noodles. I liked that. Plus it didn’t seem as greasy as the regular chow mein. The BBQ pork cabbage was interesting. Obviously, you have to like cabbage. Overall it was good. I would order it again. So much food! This will be enough for three meals for me. All the prices have gone up a dollar or two in the last year… just like every other place. If you haven’t been here it’s worth trying. You certainly get your moneys worth. You can either choose items from the steam table or from the menu that they cook order.

Mediocre Chinese food from a steam table. We have had worse. We try to avoid them and go to China Palace yen du or new yin ching Expensive for that you get... like mostly noodle in their chow mein, only have fried chicken legs and the food is bland and boring. But if you want food without waiting then this is the place!

uhm this was the worst meal i ever paid for in my life, idek how you mess up fried rice and the kung pao chicken was like fake meat consistency and looked boiled. Like im so annoyed i spent $10 on this i had to write a review. anyway, heed my warning

They had nothing I wanted.. Everything I asked for was "no, that takes 10 minutes" 3 different items.. The other China express locations have been much better in my experience. People outside begging for money.. Not just one person.. But three.. All looked healthy and better dressed than 1/2 the people walking around. Can't even go to this shopping center in peace. I'm done with this place. Will take my money elsewhere.

No one wears gloves. And I quote the manager “she has a doctors note, she’s allergic”, when I mentioned something to the lady preparing the broccoli. Why she work in fast food if she can’t wear gloves? This is why our world if getting sick so much, no one cares about GERMS anymore…it’s 2023 wake up!!

The worst “Chinese Food” ever! Orange dry chicken with some kind of orange dipping sauce. Horrible! Prawns are nothing but baby shrimp with a whole lot of batter. Not good tasting at all. Zero stars from me! Only pro it was cheap. You get what you pay for. Cheap and poorly made.

Brought a combo dinner 5/11/2022. It was orange chicken chow mein and fried rice. 😡😡😡😡. This orange chicken was so dried out it was inedible, the chow mien and rice had no flavor. I ended up just throwing away. I ate the one in Western Ranch for years, but their food started tasting ugh. Sad.

The lady saw me come in first before other couples. She goes to serve them first and ignored me. I was in shocked by this and left. I called them to file complain and they never answer the phone during business hour. They lost their very loyal customer who always come and order their delicious food. I would never go back again.

This is probably the absolute worse Chinese food I have ever eaten. $50 down the garbage disposal and even the disposal didn't want it. Beef tastes very spoiled, even though a tun of sauce is added. Teriyaki does not smell or taste like its supposed to. The noodles seem to be spaghetti concealed in soy sauce. Fried calamari is a complete joke. Lumpia is not right size and is filled with what tastes like cat puree, I assume. Never ate cat food but it's what I associated it with. Kung pao is discusting... which is really hard to mess up that dish. No flavor. I can't believe my son said all his Asian friends likes this stuff. Maybe it was a bad day for the kitchen but it was certainly not worth $50.

Using Apple Pay on the first terminal on the left charged my card and then she went to the right side saying the left doesn’t take Apple Pay and I was charge additional 21.68 dollars on top of my 10.85 . When I call to make the dispute and gave them my name and last 4 digit of my card they didn’t want to check the terminal to see if I was being over charge. Last time I will eat here. Plus the food look like it been sitting out for hours taste like it too!
