Amir's Falafel

This is the best shawarma in the LA area. Their hot sauce is amazing and they are always on time when I order ahead. I have always had amazing experiences and can’t possibly give this place enough praise.

Best. Falafel. In. Town. Brings me back to my hometown, Israel. I try to stay connected as often as I can to my culture and Amir's falafel does justice on that. Thanks to them for their amazing customer service, great food, great environment, it is safe to say that I come here at least once a week. Ask for Julio when you're there... he always takes care of me!!!

If you're eating falafel somewhere else, you're doing it wrong! I came from Dallas, Texas, to eat falafel HERE!!!

Everything on their menu is delicious. But if I had to recommend one dish everyone must try, that would be Shawarma and Falafel plate combo with pita bread, garlic and hot sauce. It’s a feast!

I can't believe I had never eaten at this restaurant before. I have been addicted to falafel for years now and always on the hunt for new places to try in Los Angeles. The falafel was absolutely ridiculous, so much flavor and so moist. I am pissed at myself for only just now finding it. I will be coming back again very very soon.

The chicken shawarma are a little different (taste and pita bread type wise) from the shawarma I used to have in other cities and states before but it's all great regardless. It's not my first time here and I would certainly come again in the future God willing.

The traditional one listed on the menu is a good pick if you don’t feel like choosing your sides. It comes with rice, carrots, hummus, salad, and a coleslaw type side. We ate in and ended up buying another warm pita to finish up the hummus. So so good! Seating - small, couple tables inside with one two-seater outside Parking- small lot

Got the lamb shawarma salad. Best shawarma I ever had. The edges were crispy and blackened to perfection. Got skewered chicken on the side and it was very good too. Also very good music playing. Cant wait to return!

For 20 bucks, to be full, almost to the point of feeling stuffed, and have had so many amazing flavors… this spot is a gem. Get the big plate. The sides I usually go for are the carrot salad, the corn, the eggplant, rice and hummus. Anyway, much love and keep up the good work yall!

This food energizes you within a hour of consumption and keeps it steady unlike other processed foods which gives carb spikes. That is a hallmark of a good, satisfying “food”.

The Santa Monica location had a similar atmosphere but their hummus tasted richer and the cashier remembered my name after our first meeting which made me completely satisfied. I needed to wait for some time to receive my pickles but I did not mind because I support the preservation arts and watching the chef pickle my pickles was an entertaining experience.

You get a lot of food here for a great value. I called in an order once and was really surprised by the amount I was given. Overall I was satisfied as well, the dishes were tasty and definitely worth ordering. If you're in the mood for falafel and similar items, definitely stop by and try it.

Tried to walk in on a Sunday evening to place an order. Three delivery drivers were already waiting on orders, and the two-person team prepping the food had another several to-go orders left to fill after theirs were done. It took them ten minutes to even acknowledge I was in the restaurant. Then they told me to wait twenty minutes until I could order. I sat down right in front of the register. 10 minutes later, one of the guys behind the counter started taking an order from another walk-in customer who’d come in after me. Ridiculous service. Won’t be coming back.

Read reviews, is highly rated. Ordered 2 specialty plates. Beef Kabob for myself and Chicken Shwarma for my wife. Got instant food poisoning after eating the Beef Kabob. I know it was the beef coz my wife is completely fine and all the other options were exactly the same. I didnt expect it from such a highly rated place, and I generally have a very strong stomach. Could just be a bad batch. Might try the chicken options a few months down the line. But I would definitely get the beef stock checked.

I used to like the food here before, but since new owership the food quality and taste has changed. The guy taking the ordered whispered profanity when asked few questions about the dishes. My friends and I won't be going back here ever again.

I went in last night and got like 40 dollars worth of sides the old man that’s been working there for a long time wouldn’t give me any pita bread he said that there pita bread is very expensive and they don’t give any with side orders I been there many times and when I order stuff they usually throw in the pita bread with out even asking so I gave back all the food I orders he must of been on his rag or something never going back there again
