First time visiting this chain. Best Tex-Mex food. Fresh salsa and chips. Unique types of sauces. Tres Leches is my favorite, it is a huge portion though.

The restaurant had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and satisfied. The attention to detail and commitment to customer service truly made for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for excellent food and exceptional service.

Chuy’s is a great Tex-Mex joint with an eclectic flare. Their service is usually spot on and their food is always pretty solid. A favorite is their chicken tortilla soup and their stuffed poblano. My son loves their cheese burger and claims it’s one of the best in Sugar Land. They have some great sauces and their creamy dip for the chips is the best.

Stepped into the restaurant and got wowed by the colorful decor. I was greeted immediately by the hostess when I stepped into the restaurant. Got seated right away without prior reservation made. The restaurant is big. There are plenty of seats for big and small parties. My server was attentive and provided great service. Food came out fast. Unfortunately, my ground beef crispy tacos weren’t warm. From the refried beans to the rice, to the meat, and to the crispy tacos, everything were room temperature. The only saving grace was the crispy tacos which were very crispy. I also enjoyed the chips with the spicy salsa. Love the spice level of the salsa. The compuesto queso was cheesy. Not too sure about having the ground beef, and guacamole in it. Didn’t seem necessary as just the queso was delicious enough.

The food wasn't very good. Ordered a taco salad and was a little disappointed. It wasn't a traditional taco salad and I even asked if it had a shell. The rice and beans were dry. The best tasting thing was the chicken tenders and fries. My husband said his shrimp tacos had good flavor just weird being in flour tortillas.

Used to like this place. Was my go-to Tex Mex but then the "shrinkflation" started ....but this time it was so ridiculous I had to write a review. You raise prices and then serve your Signature dish (Chuychanga) at such a small portion (for $15). I remember when the Chuychanga reached both ends of the plate. I took a picture with my iPhone 16 (not iphone 16max) for size context. Customer lost :-(

We do enjoy meals here, and find the food to be delicious and fresh. Service is lackluster consistently but tonight took the cake. No one showed up to the take out area for about 5 min, then indicated it would be another 10- 15 min. If the restaurant was busy I could understand a 15-20 min late order but it was nearly empty. The take out employee was rude and condescending when she finally did come out. We won’t return based on this interaction alone.

Bad service and bad food. chips and dip were the only good thing. Food was very underwhelming, drinks were not refilled, and the locations is difficult to access.

Service is just okay\nfood is below average/terrible, there are so many other Mexican and tex-mex restaurants to waste your time and money here go somewhere else.

Usually don’t have an issue with this place . I always come here with my mom and the waitresses and waiters are all very sweet. However I just called about a delivery order and the person on the phone kept interrupting me when I talked and when I was in the middle of my question she hung up on me. So I called back and she gave the me same attitude as before. Didn’t get her name sadly but they need to get someone patient and has good communication on the phone instead of someone so eager to hang up and doesn’t care about their customers.

Ordered through UBER eats. Item ordered - Fajita Burrito with beans on the side. Forgot the beans on the side and the flattest “burrito” it had barely any meat and 3 strands of cheese inside. Will NOT be ordering to go again. They sent this 😂

This Chuy’s has gone down hill. Every time I visit the food is getting worse. Today was the worst I’ve ever had. Everything was off. The chips were greasy and not cooked all the way…they had a chewiness to them. The ranch sauce was too thick. The food took 2x as long to come to the table and was lukewarm when we got it. My cheese had melted into my lettuce. My fajitas were room temp, had zero flavor, and were grey. The tortillas were thick and tasted reminiscent of store bought. The server we had has never been trained. He asked if there was anything he could bring us when we’d been waiting over 20 minutes for our lunch. I thought he was joking. 5 minutes later he brought the food. As he was still carrying it up to us, he asked if there’s anything else we need. He never came to check on us. I shared with him what was wrong, and he went to get the manager, but after 5 minutes of waiting we left. I love Chuys. I’ve been a fan for decades, after living near the original in Austin. It is a shame to see a great restaurant being run this poorly.

We are a family of 5. Came to have dinner last night around 9pm. Honestly the food was the worst I ever had. We paid 80$ for burnt and hard food. We just paid and left, I brought it to the waiters attention but he acted like it was supposed to be this burnt. We go to chuys at least once a month as a family and never had it as nasty as this location. Whatever has changed with management or staff has chuys going in the absolute wrong direction as a business and I can see why I have seen a decline in customers over time. Absolutely disgusting.

Only reason this is 1 star, because I really enjoy your food. But $6 for an extra 4 oz side of boom boom sauce is freaking ridiculous. It is almost 1/2 the price of the entree.

Will not be coming back staff was beyond slow We had two chip refills before we even had water hit the table. We asked for medium rare fajitas and it was well done. Waitress also forgot several additional side items and none of it come to the table at all. Chuys is very disappointing. They shoved all the customers in one section while the other section is empty. Was too crowded loud and slow. Do better
