I am not sure what they put in their coffee but it is amazing! I loved all of the different unique options they had. They had 3 separate menus- one with holiday specials, hot/iced drinks, and special unique Vietnamese style coffees and pastries. I tried the iced ube latte with oat milk and it was so flavorful and sweet. The place is cute and spacious. The barista was also nice. This place would be a nice hangout spot to catch up with friends. I just want to go back here to try more things they offer! I just loved the vibes, decor, and options! There’s plenty of parking in the area, it’s right next to a nail salon.
Cute cafe and great for studying! The baristas were very nice and helpful when I asked what they recommended here. I got the lychee matcha latte and the matcha is good quality! Lychee flavor was good too and not too sweet.
Stopped by to checkout the crowded and lively shop. There were mini vendors selling Pokemon collectibles and other novelties. I tried the double espresso and it was very flavorful. Overall, the prices wasn't too much. A lot of drinks were between $4.00 and $5.50. Definitely better than some of the other popular coffee shop chains.
Great drinks and service! I love to study here though it can get busy with many other students also studying. Wifi is pretty quick and I haven’t had issues. Do follow their Instagram for updates about pop-up events as those can affect seating and atmosphere if you’re looking to study. I’m a vendor (was just there 12/21 for Smiski Wonderland) and pop-ups that are hosted at Rang are always fun with themed drinks and activities. Thank you guys for allowing artists and hosts to use your space!
Everything that's perfect about a coffee shop. Lots of people working and talking and mingling, different types of seating setups, delicious drinks, friendly staff. Will definitely come back.
We ordered: Ube matcha latte (8/10) Rang salted cold foam (9/10) Both drinks exceeded my expectations 🫶🏼 The matcha was so smooth, with the ube cream foam adding just the right amount of flavor, not too sweet, just perfect. The Rang Salted Cold Foam coffee completely caught me off guard..in the best way possible… its a double shot espresso, with condensed milk and their popular salted cold FOAM 😍 their coffee was delicious!! The café itself is super cozy and comfy, with plenty of seating options, making it a great spot for students or anyone looking to relax. The decor is SUPER CUTE and aesthetic, the perfect atmosphere to unwind. Also I have to mention the staff, so friendly and kind! Always a good experience when the staff is welcoming 🫶🏼
i saw this place on social media and decided to check it out. this place is known for its vietnamese coffee and that’s what i got. specifically the viet coffee with salted foam. it was on the bitter side like a traditional viet coffee. however, i like my coffee more on the sweet side hence my four star. i also got the mini croissant which was decent. the interior was pretty nice and the baristas were so friendly!! the restroom was also clean and well decorated. a perfect place to study with friends or grab coffee to go. ‧𓍢ִ໋☕ ׂ 𓈒 ⋆ update: went today and got their new emirates matcha latte and tried their blueberry one this week and both were very yummy, definitely check out their matcha as well! their quality has gotten up since a year ago! i will be back to try their other matcha series 🍵

What a lovely place! Super clean inside, lots of seating, and great service by friendly folks. I ordered a lychee matcha, a hot cocoa, and a lychee refresher. I loved the lychee matcha - I don't like sweet drinks, and it was just the right amount of sweetness. The people who had the other drinks loved them, too. Definitely a new favorite!

4.5 /5. Their viet matcha and ube matcha latte (both cold) were great!!! Rang salted cold foam was also good! The chocolate croissant i wouldn't recommend though. Will definitely come back for the drinks, they were very kind and the vibe was great
Rang Coffee has such a great atmosphere. Sometimes, finding a real coffee shop can be tough because there are so many boba places everywhere. This café is perfect for relaxing or getting some deep work done. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the space, making it even more inviting. I also really like the type of ice they use. Today, I ordered a Vietnamese coffee. The beans are well-roasted, but it's not as strong as the ones you'd find at Vietnamese spots in Bellaire or many pho restaurants, where the coffee is often exceptional—better than many trendy cafés. As for the taste, it's good, but maybe I'm just used to a stronger brew. The sweetness from the condensed milk wasn’t quite there yet. However, the ambiance and cleanliness here are absolutely top-notch!
The drinks were good, I like the options and uniqueness of the place. It's quiet enough to study here, or have a more intimate chat with some friends. It's clean and simple and the service is nothing noteworthy but not bad- i mean they got the order and made the drinks so I feel it's hard to judge. They staff was nice though.
Rang Coffee has a chill vibe — perfect for working or studying, with plenty of people doing just that. The menu offers a nice variety of food and drinks. I tried the mango matcha and strawberry refresher tea, both were tasty. The only downside was the amount of ice, which other reviewers have mentioned too. Especially in the summer, if you're taking drinks to go, they can get watered down pretty fast. Still, a great spot overall!
I had the ube cold foam matcha latte and give it a 7/10. The matcha itself has a nice umami flavor that harmonizes well with the sweetness of the ube. I took off 1 star because the color of the matcha was not that vibrant. They have a good variety of Vietnamese coffee which I plan to try out the next time I come. The coffee shop has a pretty and chill vibe, perfect for studying or working virtually.
Another coffee shop review in a long list of coffee shop reviews I’ve been putting off. I came to Rang (Roasted) Coffee during their soft opening. I’m very excited to see a Vietnamese coffee shop open up in Sugar Land! I like the vibe here. I came during lunch and it was pretty busy. It still had the chill vibe of a coffee shop study spot albeit the hip hop jamming from the speaker which is right up my alley. The decorations in the shop are cool and it has a modern vibe. I ordered a few drinks while there to try some out. First I ordered the Rang Super Sữa Đá. It was good. It’s like a ca phê sữa đá but stronger. I didn’t notice a huge difference in taste but it wasn’t bad at all. It’s also not on the menu, so you may have to ask for it specifically if they do not mention it to you. Their version of ca phê muối , the Rang salted cold foam was okay. I thought compared to some I’ve had in Bellaire/Alief it was a bit light. It was good but not great. The Matcha Rouge Euphoria was a bit light on the matcha for my taste and the strawberry flavor which was very sweet overpowered the drink for me, even after mixing thoroughly. I like the idea but the balance was off in the execution. I did really like the butter croissant. It tasted great. At $3 per croissant, I’m not sure I’d order another however when I could go by very closely and grab a bành mì for $6. It did taste good though. With the lack of Vietnamese coffee shops in the area, it’s exciting to see one open up. If you have time to go to Bellaire/Alief you may find more traditional and established coffee shops with a more authentic selection but Rang will make a name for itself in Sugar Land. It is definitely catering to a younger demographic and thus may be not everyone’s cup of coffee but it will definitely stand out as a modern take on Vietnamese coffee. I’ll return soon just because I enjoyed the vibe, it’s close by and convenient and it’s unique for the area. Drop by and see for yourself!

I had visited and came back a few times for their coffee and latte. Their coffee is rich and suited our tastes (our favorite is the Ben Tre (coconut coffee) and the caramel coffee). The matcha latte was decent- not too rich, not too light. We had mostly re- ordered the Ube Matcha latte, their seasonal Dubai matcha latte or the Blueberry Matcha latte were either too sweet or too plain to be anything special. The Only drink that was not drinkable to me was the avocado 🥑 smoothie. The ice was not well blended. But the biggest drawback was that I could not taste the avocado at all, i can see the pieces of avocado here and there in the drink. But it was mostly diluted condensed milk with ice. I throw away the entire drink after 2 sips. 😭😭 The staffs i met were nice and friendly. Their croissants 🥐 were so so, i did not enjoy the pistachio croissant, but it look cute. Their steam bun was decent, it’s a good option for breakfast.

Really wanted to love this place but it was not up to par. I got Lychee matcha and it was really really really sweet; I had to drink a lot of water after all. It could have been better without the excess amount of syrup
Got the rang bac xiu and rang salted cold foam. For being Vietnamese coffees both were really sweet. It did not taste like it had two shots of expresso. I was expecting more of bold flavour and I asked for recommendations for something strong / not too sweet and the young lady just said anything From the Vietnamese collection.
So I’m usually not in the Sugar Land area, but I was recently for something else and I love Vietnamese iced coffee. I’ve seen a lot of reviews on TikTok about this place so de idea to go. We tried out the regular cafe su dua and the rang ben tre. The cafe su dua was tasty but weak for a Vietnamese coffee. I expected it to be super strong, as most cafe su duas are, but it was almost like a latte. Not bad, but without the intensity of a delicious Vietnamese coffee. The rang ben tre is basically a coconut slush with coffee. It did taste like real coconut, but lacked sweetness. The coffee in it was good. The best part were the chewy coconut bits, those were great! And the crunchy iciness of it was lovely. Overall ok, but lacking the strength in flavor and coffee intensity I usually expect from a Vietnamese coffee spot. Service was a bit slow, but not bad.

I get coffee from there all the time because I love their coffee. But every time I go, I always think I should never return. Service is so bad and they honestly look like they are doing ME a favor for buying their $8 coffee. It's always made a bit different each time and I keep going back because they make it right SOME times. The girls up front don't even talk to you when you get there, doesn't even acknowledge you when you say something. They don't even fill up the small cup all the way, even though I paid $8 for one small cup! Smh.
Overpriced for the amount of “drink” you’re actually getting. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee with the salt foam and my drink was mostly ice, 2-3 sips of actual coffee and the rest is just foam. The fact that 50% of the drink was just foam was pretty upsetting. Flavor was basic.
I'm typically not a coffee drinker, but I do enjoy matcha and usually prepare it at home using ceremonial-grade powder. I came once before when they still had their old cups and in my opinion, the matcha was pale and slightly yellow meaning, its low quality. But, I decided to come try it again when I saw how green their matcha was on their instagram. I recall it being around 6-8 dollars, which is on the higher end, but it is understandable since high-quality matcha is quite expensive. And they charged extra if you want more matcha powder. That said, the matcha I ordered didn't quite meet my expectations. While it had a smooth-ish texture, the flavor wasn't what I'm used to. It was a completely different green color compared to their instagram photos. It didn't taste like the good and expensive type of matcha, so I ended up not finishing it. Plus I expected my drink to look similar to the ones posted on their instagram… I did some research and I believe they use AI for their photos. The logo (blue one) on a post didn’t even look the same as their actual logo (red one) and another post had an ai hand pouring something with no handle. That being said, since this spot is known for its coffee, I'm open to coming back and trying one of their signature coffee drinks instead. But the interior was aesthetic and would be a great place to study! Overall, I am disappointed.
