Matcha Zen Latte (3/5) 50% sweet, no ice. Initially the matcha flavor really isn't that great. The matcha flavor is a bit bland and on the bitter side. This is indicative of a lower quality matcha. Matcha Jasmine Latte (3.5/5) 50% sweet, no ice. This is ever slightly better than the regular. The jasmine flavor is prominent which adds a slight perceived amount of sweetness and takes the edge off of the lower quality matcha. Coconut Mango Boom (5/5) Default. This was quite delicious. I would say that it is no worse or better than my favorite mango drink at Hui Lau Shan. The jelly and sago in this drink provide for fun texture. The flavor is sweet and fruity, with a nice creamy coconut mango flavor. Milk Tea Bobo Shake (4/5) 50% sweet, less ice. This is like a slushy blended milk tea drink. Oddly they put the boba at the top. So I guess this encourages you to stir the drink. The flavor is on the milker side. The tea flavor is nice but it is a bit mellow. I don't think I have any knocks on it, but there is nothing great about it either, other than the "interesting" factor of the slushy. ### Cheese Cloud Green Tea (2/5) 50% sweet, no ice. This drink is shockingly bitter. That is my impression of it. I think that even at full sweetness, it won't be able to counter the fact that this tea is over steeped and is repulsively bitter. The cloud foam on top is a unique touch, but I don't think that it adds anything to the drink.

Literally so so good!!! We came at around 6 pm and it took about a thirty minute wait with ten-ish minutes for the order to be ready. Do expect 40-1 hour wait. The boba is super chewy and the tea is so refreshing. Highly recommend the Supreme Boba Milk Tea. it is so delicious and has the perfect sweetness

We ordered the Matcha Cloud Jasmine Latte and the Matcha Bobo Shake. Both had a nice creamy consistency, both not too sweet and the latte has a prominent jasmine tea taste. I also like despite using jasmine tea as the base, the drink was not too floral tasting, and balanced well with the matcha and cheese foam. I think my bf and I ended up liking the latte more because we loved the taste of the jasmine tea. Though the boba in the shake was very fresh and chewy! The staff here are very kind and efficient, as a first timer they also let me know they are known for their cheese cloud drinks and their Grape Boom drink. Service was also very fast and you order on the kiosk or through their own HeyTea app. For my second visit, I ordered via the app and they give you a 15% discount on your first order and then you can you order here to earn rewards/future discounts. I also loved how the app showed a breakdown of the drink components so you can really understand what is in your drink. I think for the whole overall experience it is worth the 8$ price tag and it is a hip place to hang out with friends, but not sure if I would go out of my way for the drinks specifically.

HeyTea is a popular boba/fruit tea place that is finally in the Bay Area. A welcome addition to the plaza, it has a ton of selections ranging from fruit tea to matcha and black tea. Family-friendly and super quick service even with the line as they have a lot of staff. The location is clean and ordering is also available through QR. Love their mango sago!

I really like the tea here! I get a hot black tea with no sweet and brown sugar boba. The milk is delicious, very creamy. The boba is so soft and fresh! And the black tea is fruity and mild. Its truly delicious 😋! The staff is helpful and organized. The tables are small so its more of a to go spot than somewhere to meet a friend.

I ordered the drink from its own APP, which allows you to order in advance and skip the line to pick up your drink. It also gave you 15% off for the first drink. I like the jasmine tea with Matcha cloud top. I chose no sugar added and it’s the right sweetness for me. I tried the mango grapefruit one on the other day with same sweetness option. It also tastes good because the mange and coconut milk itself comes with sweetness. But it tastes more blends in the end. So I would recommend a little more sweet for most people like minimal sweet instead of no sugar added.

Aesthetic? Yes. Sitting arrangements 🥲. We had coconut mango sago I totally recommend!! It was busy in the afternoon too. So waiting gets longer.

Tried the Supreme Brown Sugar Boba drink, but it didn’t quite live up to expectations. The flavor felt a bit underwhelming and lacked depth. Thankfully, I switched to the Matcha drink, Matcha zen latte — and that totally made up for it! The matcha was rich and smooth, the boba was refreshing, and the addition of matcha jelly was a fun and tasty twist. Definitely recommend the matcha option over the brown sugar!

Ordered at the store on a weekday around 1:30pm. No line ordering but waited ~20 mins to get the drink. There’s a nice smell of tea in the store. Cloud coconut blue had a rich matcha cream and coconut jelly inside, cannot really adjust sweetness but it’s refreshing. The store is at a busy plaza with Trader Joe’s so it might take some time to park.

Line is very long, but drinks come out fast once you order. It was about a 90 minute wait on the day we went (BOGO matcha drinks). The matcha flavor is more dessert-like rather than a strong traditional flavor. Overall the drinks are on the sweeter side

I recommend doing a sweetness of 75% or 100% (my friend and I did 50%). The store is very aesthetically pleasing and simple.

Drinks are okay. I think Cupertino location is better. The worker at the front was passive aggressive, asian with glasses. I ordered at kiosk and there was a qr code that was cut off and all she said was that I can't redeem points from kiosk but I was trying to see the wait time. It says in the receipt to scan qr code for wait time...Then I asked for a bag and she just aggressively put it in front of me. Cupertino location would put the drinks in the bag for you and say thank you but regulations must not be the same for every location. I get Heytea a lot too..this has to be the most mid experience.

Don't go if you want a warm or hot drink. They serve it in a plastic cup. WTH. Too bad because their tea flavors are good. Also, they don't have dairy-free milk options if you're looking for that.

This is really robotic place which is not my kind of place, order on kiosk(no suggestion, no help) after placing order no update how long will take to get ready, waited 40 minutes for 2 drinks. Asked 3 times from front staff she smiled well (fake)and said not ready and cursing in own language. After getting the drinks I did not find anything good in the drink to stop 2nd time and worth to wait 40 minutes, the drink was creamy that completely bad for health. I don’t know why there is crowd too much either people are tasteless or they want these kind of stupid places. It’s honest review not frustrated review. People should wake up to keep themselves having healthy things.

They have no concept of first come first serve. We waited here for more than 40 minutes for our drink, while many others ordered after us have got their drinks way earlier.

Don't go if you want a warm or hot drink. They serve it in a plastic cup. WTH. Too bad because their tea flavors are good. Also, they don't have dairy-free milk options if you're looking for that.

Horrid timing, app, and sometime attention to detail. I won’t blame the servers who are working hard, but the update system sucks and I had a really bad experience. Oh and I paid for extra boba last week and never got it in my drink. Today, I had a group order and a teammate made a second order much later. They couldn’t group them together since the second order was 40+ drinks behind the first order. I totally understood, it would be unfair to cut the line. So I waited for an extra 20 minutes. Then 30. I couldn’t wait anymore since I really needed to get this group order to the office, so I walked up to ask how much longer. Turns out my drink has been ready but they never updated the in person screen or app, and it had just been sitting there dying for 10+ minutes. This might be the closest heytea to me, but I’m definitely going to Cupertino’s after this. They also have never made a mistake on my drink. I paid extra for boba last week and they didn’t include it. I didn’t notice until I was home.
