Had chorizo and eggs and they were great. Wife had chilaqiles and they had a good crunch throughout. Green salsa was subtle. Daughter enjoyed the asada taco with hand made tortilla. Will be returning.good Aguas forecas tried pomegranate and horchata.

I've been here quite a few times already! Thus, the different pictures I have to share 😋 I must be honest, I'm not a fan of their menudo. BUT! I definitely recommend trying other items on their menu! My go-to are the carnitas/cueritos tacos, and the chilaquiles are 🔥

Good place for food, really really small fits 8 people max. Update 4/5/22: they moved across the street into their own venue it's a lot bigger and the carniceria is separate now but in the same place. The good is still bomb and affordable

Authentic Mexican food. We have been coming to this place for many years. Their carnitas, hot sauces, handmade tortillas and aguas frescas are the best. We just tried the sopes from their new family pack menu and they were delicious.

I had the handmade tortilla tacos with carnitas, pastor, and chicharron. First, the tortillas were warm and fresh and tasted really good. The pastor was good but the carnitas and chicharron were definitely highlights. The carnitas were so flavorful and moist with some little crispy bits too. The chicharron was really crispy but with some good fatty and meaty bites in there too. The chips were great and I liked that the plate came with a lot of limes too.

Best Chicharrons I have had!!! Service is still friendly, I started coming here since they were in the back of El Rancho Plaza Market. Took me till now to finally try the Chicharrons, I have been missing out lol. I would always come for the carnitas which are very good as well and the carne asada burritos. Definitely recommend this place

So I was driving back home from seeing a client and I was looking for something to eat in the area and later did I know that I'll be finding a hidden gem in Sylmar! So the location is not in the best spot because it's inside like a liquor store but don't let that fool you and come inside! They have a variety of very tasty Mexican food. They're not your typical spot that only offers burrito and tacos. I ordered Torta and it was stack! I was stuffed and will be recommending this spot to my friends and family. Parking is also not a problem and customer service is amazing so come check them out if you're in the area!

I came on a Sunday for the menudo, and it was worth the trip. Deep, rich broth, the kind that tastes like someone’s been tending it since dawn. And the tortillas? All handmade. Every taco comes wrapped in one, warm, soft, imperfect in the best way. You can taste the labor and the love in every bite.

Wow. From the moment you walk in your senses get going with the incredible smell of good clean food. Ernie took my order, completely pleasant and the food was perfection. Had a carnitas burrito that was authentic, clean and really tasty. The dining area is really cool, spotlessly, clean and kind of a little artsy. Can’t wait to come back. I’m told they have a coffee spot right next-door that is called Jardine Café, which I will be trying next time.

They also have vegetables and some fruits fresh for you to buy. It is right on the corner. The street is semi busy, so you need to find parking. Lot is located in the back, but it is limited parking..

Lately every time I go there, it takes forever to get your food and the food's not starting to taste the same as before. I ordered the birria combo and meat was really dry. Going to start looking for different place to eat

first time at this place and it will be the last time, the cashier lady had an attitude plus she was wearing a mask i couldn’t understand what she was say. i can’t believe they don’t have small plastic containers for the salsa lemons and relishes we ask her and she said oh you have to bring your plate and put them on it, and grab your water as well, with an attitude.

Menudo is expensive and overcooked the condiments are really poor quality, cilantro was dark,chiles de arbol old and stail...the only thing I enjoyed was the tortillas, I also got chicharrones,... I think at vallarta super market are 90%better I couldn't even eat them Not crunchy at all I was afraid I was gonna break my teeth, not even fried enough...not worth my $30

Paid $18 for it. It's not worth it at all. When I poin it out, the lady who took our order was like, "yahh sorry and wanted to offer free drink, which I denied." Spend almost $60 at this place. Please dont waste your money here there are plenty of better places in the valley.

Terrible experience. We ordered two California burritos and both were completely cold — the cheese wasn’t melted and the rice, beans, and meat were all cold. They also had no guacamole. When I asked about it, the employee said they were out, even though we specifically asked what came in the burrito before ordering and no one mentioned it. We also ordered birria tacos, and those weren’t good either. The breading was poorly done and just tasted off. Overall, very disappointing and not worth it.
