Omg the fish it’s so so fresh, I love it, one of the best sushi and sashimi I ever ate. The place it’s really nice and the service is great, but the food is amazing, definitely recommend.
Service was friendly and food tasted great. We were a party of seven and everything came out great.
This place is a must go. The atmosphere is great with beautiful painted walls. There are a lot more seating then I expected inside. We got the bao buns, the spicy miso and vegetarian ramen and all were delish! The server has to bring out each ramen bowl separately cause they are such large bowls! The quality was really good, everything tasted fresh. The service was good as well. This is so close to my home so I will be back!
Absolutely love Kiwami Ramen & Sushi! Their lunch options are amazing, great portions, reasonably priced, and everything tastes incredibly fresh. The food is authentic, and you can truly tell they use high-quality ingredients. One of the best spots in town for a satisfying and flavorful meal. Highly recommend!
Absolutely delicious food! It was great seeing things like taro and sweet potato tempura, takoyaki, and a variety of different interesting fusion style rolls. My friend ordered the ramen and ate the whole bowl, so obviously it was pretty good! Waitress was friendly, service was quick. However the one weird thing is that they didn't have any good desserts. Just the very outdated and unhealthy options of deep fried cheesecake or ice cream. Which is great if you're someone who eats deep fried food, but there was no green tea ice cream, red bean desserts, or mochi which I found strange since the place seems to serve a lot of quality authentic food. Perhaps something their management can consider adding in the future? We had an excellent meal here and I would definitely return and recommend to friends looking for great food.
Came with my sisters and nephew and we all loved the food it was so good! Presentation 10/10, taste 10/10, and service 10/10!!
First time going here. It was sooooo good. Sushi 🍣 was delicious, one roll I had, Sexy Girl Roll, was so delicious it made me roll my eyes. 😆 Saki flight was yummy. Server was attentive and patient. Nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
I was absolutely blown away by this place! I was staying at the hotel next door and didn't feel like getting ripped off by Uber Eats, so I decided to venture over to the small plaza next to the hotel. There were several spots there, but this one immediately caught my attention. Small, tucked away, and with the words "Sushi" and "Ramen" on the sign. That was all I needed to see. I walked in, picked up the food I had already ordered, and headed back to the hotel. I was too tired to sit down and enjoy my meal there... maybe I should have. Maybe next time? The ambiance is great! The wall art was fantastic, and it felt like a small izakaya straight out of Japan. The place was full, which says a lot considering it's pretty far from the touristy parts of town. I had the Shoyu Ramen and it was fantastic...comforting, rich, and full of flavor. They better not change a thing about that bowl because it was perfect. I also tried the calamari legs appetizer. Crispy, perfectly seasoned, and the dipping sauce was amazing. I'll be in the Brandon area again in two weeks, and I can't wait to come back. I'm getting the same ramen bowl and will definitely try a sushi roll... or two.
I’m not usually a Ramen person but I wanted to get a bowl on this chilly night. The Happy Hour Sake flight and App was great for $12! The Sake was deliciously sweet and the Gyozas were crunchy and savory. For Ramen, I loved my Tan Tan Men bowl - moderate spice and lots of protein! My boyfriend enjoyed the Kiwami Ramen but mine was best ha! It was pretty chilly inside so bring a sweater!

It was a great experience having gone on my birthday, with a few friends. The customer service is amazing, and the food is delicious!! I have been to many sushi and Japanese restaurants; and if one of those things(food or service) is poor, then I never consider the restaurant again. Kiwami nailed it! I got some hot Green Tea for the table, Pork Steam Buns as an appetizer, the Philadelphia Roll, and tried my friend’s DJ Roll, all alongside the delicious Curry Chicken Ramen (which was on special). Very tasty, delicious, and worth it. Shoutout to Kristy our great server, among many inviting and lovely servers!
I asked for spicy chili garlic oil, and they gave me SPICY chili garlic oil 😂 Tiny tears appeared at the corner of my eyes. Ohhhh yeaaah. I loved every moment! I drove to Riverview early for a home inspection, and since I had not eaten here yet, I decided to give it a try 🙂 The ramen bowl was delicious. They used large pieces for the tempura vegetable. Loved that. The restaurant, including the bathroom, was clean, and the service was fast, friendly, and professional. There's plenty of parking, and it's easy to find. I highly recommend a visit 👍
I've been a customer since the day they opened. I had my very first bowl of ramen at Kiwami back in early 2019. Back then, I played it safe by ordering the miso ramen. I'd never had anything quite like it. It was a very hardy bowl filled with ramen noodles, ground pork, corn kernels, half an egg, kikurage mushrooms, scallions, bamboo shoots, and brown miso. It had a very savory broth with a bold umami taste. It was rich & salty, as it should be. It was very comforting. Since that time, I've had the Kiwami ramen (tonkotsu broth w/black garlic oil) and their tantanmen ramen which are both very delicious. I'd say even better than the miso ramen. Especially that spicy tantanmen! Admittedly, I have not been back until recently. This time, I decided to try the spicy miso veggie ramen. I asked for the chili oil on the side so that I could control the spiciness of the dish. The vegetable broth was surprisingly tasty. I think the only thing I would change is the tofu squares. They tasted stale and spongy. I'd prefer to just have unfried tofu. Otherwise, it was a very good visit. I also tried the salmon tartar. I really love the avocado, mango and tobiko combined with the salmon. It's so refreshing on a hot summer day. They also have some really great appetizers and sushi. The Kamikaze Roll is great if you love eel. It's filled with warm tempura shrimp and avocado, and topped with eel. It's delicious! I'm glad to see that it's still on the menu. I've also had the Lollipop Roll with salmon, which is wrapped in cucumber (no rice). You can choose tuna or salmon for this roll. I like it because it's very light & healthy. The service and atmosphere is always great. I love their ramen menu because there are just so many different variations. I definitely need to visit more often.
Kiwami surpassed my expectations! The quality of the food and variety of their menu were fantastic! Plus, their playlist is great and staff was super friendly too. I only wish each table had a little light because it was slightly dark in there, but it’s not a big deal. Highly recommend!
I was traveling through town and found this on Google. I will definitely be back again! The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was casual and modern! I couldn't decide on the chicken broth base Ramen or the beef broth base. I went with the chicken, it was amazing! Next time I travel through town I am going to specifically come here to try the beef broth. I ordered my food and it was served promptly. They have four draft beers to choose from and a nice bottle selection as well. I highly recommend this place.
Kiwami is the besssssst! We just keep going back because we’ve never been disappointed with the food, the service or the atmosphere. Food is well priced and they have lots of different sushi options.
I'm really picky when it comes to both ramen and sushi. But, yeah, I'm definitely a fan of both here. Don't forget to take advantage of the bubble tea delivery service from bubble tea shop next door. It makes the meal feel super fancy, almost like Taiwan. The ramen at Kiwami is the largest portion in Tampa Bay. I've had ramen from Fukuoka all the way to Hokkaido and this ramen is just as tasty. Wish there were more noodle options for how many broth options. But, what do I know. The rolls here are US style, portions are large, and cost is a few dollars lower than most sushi restaurants. This could definitely be a regular spot for me.
The spicy kitchen ramen is my favorite, but everything is great. Tempura vegetables are also super good as an appetizer. Service always friendly. Highly recommend!
Visited 12.25.25 7pm-ish Server was prompt, gave us dropped utensils without asking etc. They promote not using msg but ramen was still very flavorful. Chasu pork was on point. Sushi rolls were good. Rice cooked perfectly like it would be at a good Sushi restaurant. Donburi slightly different style than what im used to but still very good. Tempura fried perfectly. Thank you for opening during christmas. I would be a regular if I lived closer

My favorite restaurant! I've been coming here for more than 4 years. Food is fresh! Service is great! I love the staff! My favorite is the tempura veggies and the Kiwami signature ramen! You gotta to try this gem!
The curry chicken ramen was fantastic and full of flavor! Not completely impressed with the calamari so I'd recommend passing but the suchi was good. The restaurant is small but in a great location with a fun vibe.
Every Thursday my family and I like to drive around town and try new places. This week was Kiwami Ramen Sushi. FYI, they Open at 5pm for dinner I had the Curry Ramen and Alaskan Roll. Curry came with fried chicken would have been best with grilled chicken. But overall at 8 out of 10. Alaskan Roll was nothing special regular ingredients in it. Salmon, cream cheese and cucumber i believe, 8 out of 10. Wife had the sweet potato Roll which was amazing and some there sushi Roll I can't remember. All in all it was pretty good. Will go back and try different items.

Nice little spot. We had no issue getting in on Valentine's Day. Nice variety of food offerings. The rice on the rolls was overcooked but didn't make it inedible, just wasn't perfect. Would go back if I'm the area.
We ordered takeout and it was ready very quickly. Unfortunately, the sushi was quite bad-honestly, even Publix sushi is better. There was barely any rice, just a very thin layer, and the taste was strange. We also tried the ramen broth with pork belly (broth only), which was okay.
I tried Kiwami for dinner and was not totally disappointed. Sushi was decent, the pork belly buns were ok, and the ramen was also pretty good. While not the best Japanese cuisine, it was still good enough to fill my craving. Kiwami is not close to being worth 5 stars despite the service which was outstanding. The quality is just not there for a 5 star review. I was between 3 - 4 stars on this one but lean more towards 3.

I’m a big ramen connoisseur and this was among the worst I’ve had. The tonkotsu was watery and thin with no real flavor, with a greasy texture. It was not made in the traditional proper way. The karaage was okay.
Came here a couple times before but i'll never come back and don't recommend. The food is mostly decent, but there's 1 specific roll I like here. I'm very disappointed in the service. It was my birthday and we called to check if they do anything and was told we get a free cheesecake. Could have picked any restaurant, but I chose Kiwami. Some of the food was ok, but even though we told our waitress about the birthday, and that she said she'll bring a cheesecake..she didn't bring it and brought us the bill instead. I wasn't going to say anything but my wife brought it up and the waitress said "it's happy hour so they won't do it". How that's relevant is beyond me. It shows they care more about money than the customer. I helped cleaned the table to make it easier for them and we payed over $116 for a few rolls, 1 ramen, 2 appetizer and extra side and still left at least 18% tip because that's what good people do. Normally I don't care about doing anything for my birthday or for others to do anything for me, but I didn't think they would be this selfish and stupid to lose customers who usually pay over $100 each time they come just so they can save a few dollars.. They didn't say bye either. It's the last time we come and I don't recommend it to anyone.
Broth had no depth and tasted like it came out my saltwater aquarium. My ramen at home has better broth. Got a near cold brick of noodles on side. No utensils provided. Side of garlic oil was over a $1 but just a tablespoon. Don’t bother with delivery. Learnt my lesson. 😅

I know this isn't supposed to be Japanese level ramen, but the curry ramen was not good. Not only did I have to wait over 30 minutes for ramen, which I shouldn't, the ramen was water down and had no flavor. Then I felt awkward and bad seeing children working here. They looked like they were 5 and 7 years old. My cousin got 2nd degree burn from hot soup spilling on her and I'm worried this could happen to those children. Then my colleague I went with said the spicy tuna roll was not good, but super dry.
I just got two ramens delivered and had to ask Uber for a refund. I’m not one to leave comments and rate, but the food was atrocious. The noodles were one congealed piece that was so overcooked, it was inedible. The broth did not smell right and was so greasy, the fat sat almost semi-solid on top. We’ve eaten at this restaurant multiple times, in person, and it has never been like this. They should be more rigorous with their to-go or delivery orders.
