Perfecto.Los platos fueron inigualables, tanto en sabor como en presentación. Se nota mucho el cuidado y la dedicación en cada detalle. El personal también fue muy amable. Sin duda, volveremos.

Bueno que decir. Un mega 10 !!! Vaya experiencia maravillosa. Todo ha estado perfecto. El ambiente, la presentación de los platos, las texturas, los productos, los sabores increíbles. Desde luego uno de los mejores restaurantes que hemos probado. Aquí tiene que caer una estrella si o si ! Enhorabuena al chef Moha Quach. Hemos elegido el menú de 85 €. Repetiremos seguro. Gracias por este momento gustativo perfecto

Hacía tiempo que quería dejar una reseña. Aunque visité este restaurante hace ya un tiempo, siempre lo recuerdo con un muy buen sabor de boca. La experiencia fue tan buena que sigue presente en mi memoria: comida deliciosa, ambiente acogedor y un trato que te hace sentir como en casa.

¿Si te digo que de un menú de 9 platos no sabrías distinguir cuál es el mejor, te lo crees? Por difícil que parezca, esto sucede en este restaurante. Menú Essenzia, compuesto por cuatro aperitivos, dos entrantes, más dos principales, más un postre... Y si tuviera que elegir uno te diría que me los quedo todos. En un menú de esas características no es nada fácil salir 100% satisfecho de todos los platos, siempre hay alguno en el que echas algo de menos... Lo veo un poco salado, predominan los cítricos, ese cardamomo está demasiado presente,... Aquí todo está perfectamente acompasado, para que la sinfonía de sabores, texturas y colores, causen en tu paladar, mente, y alma la mejor de las sensaciones. Si además acompañas la velada con unos buenos amigos y una agradable conversación... De ahí solo puedes obtener un resultado y lo que mejor define el estado al que llegas en una situación como la que describo solo puede ser: MAGIA. Gracias, Moha, Nuria y al maravilloso equipo de El Terrat.

Partiendo de un servicio elegante y atento, nos recibieron en su local, muy limpio y agradable. Disponen de varios menús degustación además de la carta. Nosotros pedimos el menú de 45 euros, menú muy asequible y elaborado, perfecto para quedar bien con alguien y no gastarte 100 euros, muy agradecidos de que cocinas de este nivel dispongan de menús reducidos para que todo el mundo pueda disfrutar de elaboraciones tan ricas y creativas. Para mí un 10. Repetiremos.

Fui con mi pareja a comer y nos encantó! Pedimos el menú degustación con maridaje, ahora es temporada de calçots y había algunos platos inspirados con estos ingredientes, los cuales nos encantaron. No hubo ningún plato que no nos gustara estaba todo delicioso. El servicio de 10, explicando cada plato y cada vino que nos servían según el plato. El restaurante es precioso me genero un ambiente cálido y tranquilo.

ESPECTACULAR! Ya había estado hace tiempo, repetí por una ocasión especial y todo un acierto. Escogimos el menú degustación Olivus. El producto de mucha calidad y los detalles y la preparación muy cuidados. Todo estaba espectacular! El equipo que trabaja allí fue muy atento en todo momento y el sitio es muy agradable, el ambiente fue muy tranquilo y relajado. Me encantó la vajilla de cerámica. Super recomendable! 😊

Es la tercera o cuarta vez que vamos, siempre menu degustacion y nunca nos ha defraudado, tienen un servicio exquisito, cada plato que traen viene con sus cubiertos a juego. Muchas elaboraciones con ingredientes que combinan entre si de forma espectacular, muchos con un hilo conductor de especias orientales... Sin duda un restaurante digno de estrella michelin aunque aun no la tenga, calidad-precio espectacular

Excellent restaurant with cutting edge cuisine. The frozen olives with anchovy stuffing exploded with flavor. The hors d'oeuvres were truly inspirational and the red tuna was spot on. If have the palate to enjoy exceptionally well curated flavors, this is your place. We'll be back next time we're in Tarragona

WOW! Do not pass up this GEM!!! If you are into a very unique dining experience like you may have never had before then please VISIT El Terrat! This cuisine was so elegant, flavorful, unique with a complex pallet that words do not do it justice. Try one of their tasting menus (we had the Olivus Menu pictured here) and get the full experience. I first discovered this recommendation in the Michelin App and again it did not disappoint! Go and do yourself and you tastebuds a huge favor and try this beautiful dining experience! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So much respect to Chef Moha Quach, Thank you 🙏

Fine dining lunch tasting menu, right in the centre of town. Professional from start to finish, efficient approach to service...once you select your menu, the dishes keep coming. Each dish is a sight to behold and a marvel of flavour and texture. Our menu had a great variety of produce, favouring fish, which was delicately marinated or cooked to perfection. Beef was included and was as flavoursome and tender as I've ever had. I'd highly recommend a visit. The value is incredible, so this would be a great spot for a family occasion or a get together with your foodie friends. The sommelier chose the dry white wine...a French one surprisingly (in Spain) and it was perfect for the first half dozen courses. A great choice.

We took the menu OLIVUS, it was a nice experience. The place is comfortable, the table wears are well selected with the the design of modern Moroccan elements. The food was good in general we specifically liked : Sándwich de foie, Escabeche de calabaza, Cremoso de setas con rusinyols gaseados, huevo a baja temperatura y crujiente de setas..

The food here was excellent. We had lunch, and the place was busy. You need a reservation. You can have a tasting menu, or regular a la carte. I had the Suckling Pig, followed by chocolate textures, and my wife had the tenderloin followed by the original and tasty “our egg”. It is five stars for food and service, but I have given four for atmosphere. It’s probably just a personal thing but I felt it was slightly over formal (in fairness a baby was made very welcome at the next table), and I could see no need for the staff to wear gloves to give out cutlery,. We also unknowingly turned up 9 minutes before the restaurant opened on a hot day and walked in because the front door was open. We were turned away-we wouldn’t have minded just sitting on the seats near the entrance. Having made these minor points, I would be happy to go back on my next visit to Tarragona which is a wonderful City.

We had the taster menu and every course was so impeccably presented! We had the taster menu (not all dishes pictured) for 60 euros per person and we felt that it’s very worth it! Food was delicious and we were so full by the end of lunch! The bottle of Rioja red wine was amazing too :)

I had the tasting menu for 65€. This meal is one I’ll remember for a long time. I ate for 2hr45 mins straight; went through a welcome drink, 7 appetisers, 3 starters, 2 mains of fish and beef, pre-dessert, dessert, and a petit four and it was indeed a show from start to finish. I took plenty of photos and will share some of my favourite dishes. The staff was friendly and helpful, they tried their best to explain to me the meal in English and also made good recommendations for wine pairing. I look forward to returning in another season to try another menu!

My girlfriend and I went for shorter tasting menu (40 €) and got wine. The menu was 4 appitizer, 2 starters, 2 mains, a dessert and petit four. Overall we thought it was delicious, standouts for us included the soup starter with scallop, potato and egg yolk, and the dessert. Would highly reccomend this restaurant, one of the best in Tarragona!

Wow, wow, wow, what a find!! The food here is amazing, the staff super professional, even during these tough COVID 19 times! The decor and ambiance was spot on! We had the menu del día, and it was amazing, every dish with so much detail and presentation. The combination of flavours on each dish was superb. My only regret on giving such a great review is that probably more people will come and enjoy and make it more difficult for me to book a table in the future haha! (Sorry not many photos of food as we were so looking forward to eating it!) Highly recommended and now one of my go to restaurants.

Tucked away in a quiet alley just off La Rambla, El Terrat was a pleasant surprise in Tarragona. They served some of the freshest seafood and produce from local farmers nearby. Do try their tasting menu or ask them to recommend their specials. We loved their freshly baked kamut bread, fish croquette, tuna tartare, langostines, and their surprise dish of melt-in-your-mouth Lengua (ox tongue). They also recently bagged a Michelin plate award for 2020. Don’t miss this restaurant when visiting Tarragona!

Excelente restaurante recomendado Michelin, que combina cocina mediterránea y tiene toques árabes que le aportan un estilo propio y diferente. Pedimos el menú Olivus y fue una gran experiencia la atención fue muy buena en líneas generales con alguna pequeña excepción. Precio calidad acorde con la categoría del restaurante. Muy recomendable.

El Terrat es un sitio ideal si buscas una experiencia gastronómica diferente en Tarragona. Cocina muy creativa y original con platos mediterráneos y toques árabes que sorprenden. Increíble mezcla de sabores aunque debo decir que los platos son algo pequeños (de degustación) y me quede con ganas de probar más y de comer un poco más. El ambiente es moderno y acogedor. El servicio a pesar de que fueron atentos lo notamos algo frío. Los postres y la presentación destacan. ¡Perfecto para ocasiones especiales!

Estuvimos cenando mi mujer y yo. El servicio bueno, las camareras explicaron bien cada plato del menú degustación que escogimos, con una atención correcta y atenta, lo que se espera de un restaurante de esta categoría. Los platos hubo de todo tipo, desde un par que no decían mucho, hasta otros que eran sorpresas espectaculares en la boca. La experiencia muy buena, solo apostillar en la cantidad total, ya que comparandolo con otros sitios con estrella michelín aqui me falto un punto mas para quedar en ese saciado que debe alcanzar una experiencia de este tipo. ¡Recomendable!

The food here, except for rather insipidly bland raw prawn starter, was exceptional, definitely 1 star Michelin quality. Some dishes, especially 2 sets of amuse bouche, pre-dessert - all 2 star material. What lets down this amazing food is rather dull dining room (it's neither funki modern to explain lack of any details to grab onto, nor cosy in any way, facilities, like toilets with diluted soap (!) that sprays everywhere because it's so diluted, seriously, with people paying minimum €85 per menu you economise on €5 soap?!), that and overstretched service. Service simply doesn't match the food, even though it is kind, the nicest of the servers was Carla. They have to be careful also with the language, double-check twice if needed, but my alternative to lamb was pork, though waitress called it beef. I happened to be OK with it, when instead porc came out (incidentally it was by far THE best pork dish I ever tasted), but imagine if you are Muslim or Jewish, the shock of it. Water without gas was ordered, but sparkling brought, took ages to replace it with server not even apologising and pulling a face when i said to change it/that it was wrong. Wine not offered at all at any time throughout the long lunch, staff are ran off the feet and don't upsell anything- the owner may be better off paying one extra wage instead of very few staff being stressed out and not offering guests any service except bring dishes out and take away the plates. The owner is sure missing out on a lot of revenue because of this. Water was not even offered at all on arrival or at any time, and had to be asked for, as was bread, as was olive oil, and it all took way too long to arrive. No warmth or kindness from staff at all except lovely Carla, but she was ran off her feet. Now to the food - the amuse bouche were exceptional, especially smoked sardine fois gras "sandwich" with mango & sesame crackers. Strawberry pre-dessert is also fabulous. Petit fours very good indeed. Salted chocolate dessert michelin quality, great technique on display. Tuna is too cold, and the whole dish lacking zing. Pork dish, melt in one's mouth, crackling type finish up the top - exceptional. As was artichoke "soup" dish. Oysters hiding under foam with seasonal asparagus is also very good. If they can fix the service, facilties, toilets, and get order and sense in service, with one server throughout dining experience for specific tables, instead of all that mingling of staff, and slightly sharpen the menu, this is one star Michelin in the making. The food is practically already there. Bread was excellent too. I loved the use of stunning ceramics, especially those with antiquity references. Enjoyed the experience, at least the food and the ceramics.

Went for the tasting menu and the food was incredible! The food itself would have got 5 stars but the reason I give 4 is because of the service. They do not speak English so we didn’t get any explanation of the food and we ordered a bottle of cava which “exploded” when she opened it and she didn’t give us a new bottle? This means we paid for a full bottle but 1/3 was wasted.. no apologies, no refund, nothing. It is a shame because with these chefs you could have had a one star Michelin restaurant but the service is way too poor.

We took the tasting menu. Every dish was amazing, a surprise, or above standard or standard (for the pricing), however the most surprising part was how the main courses were actually underwhelming compare to the rest of the dishes; whether it was the presentation, the taste or the quality. I liked the experience (around Sep/Oct 2021) but there were definitely things they were trying to do which were just not quite there yet. (perfumes in the bathroom is a nice try but please....choose something with a bit more quality in the scent...but wait, don't disturb the olfactory since we are here to really enjoy the amazing food) I would recommend having the experience for once.

Para la calidad que se espera de un restaurante con ese rango de precios es una experiencia agridulce. Aperitivos muy buenos y originales, mezcla de sabores locales actuales (sí, aquí incluyo el sabor árabe) Entrantes buenos, pero el de langostinos excesivamente salado. No me espero una cocina así. Este salado se lleva a los platos principales, que de nuevo, el agua del mar sabe menos salada. Los postres destacan por encima de todo, al menos el cierre está a la altura de lo esperado.

Cenamos en este restaurante un sábado por la noche y optamos por el menú de 115 euros. Buen plato, bonito lugar. Sin embargo, quedamos bastante decepcionados por el servicio, especialmente por una camarera (la que era más adulta) que arruinó nuestra experiencia desde el principio con comentarios desapropiados para el entorno. Consideramos que la camarera, que creo que también era sumiller, fue prepotente y nada sonriente, inclusive arrogante. Su manera de respondernos resultó fría . No nos gustó en absoluto. Cuando se paga un cierto precio, se espera amabilidad. Su comportamiento arruinó nuestra experiencia,y en este tipo de restaurante, la acogida es primordial y el servicio es muy importante. Afortunadamente, la segunda camarera, más joven y con gafas, fue muy amable y explicó muy bien los platos. Nada que reprochar, al contrario. En cuanto a los platos, preferimos los postres. Estaban muy buenos!! Los platos estaban buenos, pero no al nivel que esperábamos para este precio. Tampoco nos parece normal pagar el servicio del pan a 3,5 euros cuando ya se paga más de 100 euros por el menú. Hemos ido a restaurantes de una gama de precios similar y nunca hemos tenido que pagar el pan. No repetiremos.

Overall a decent experience at El Terrat and I will definitely not return. + Excellent desserts, beautiful presentation on the dishes, affordable prices for such a high level restaurant and nice presentation of the different dishes - Very dark place, the staff wasn't the friendliest although highly knowledgeable about the food options. Finally, the restaurant only offers 4 main dish options besides the degustation menu which makes sense for a Michelin restaurant, however one of them wasn't even available ( the beef tenderloin) on a Saturday Afternoon which is supposed to be a really busy time and day and the ONLY meat options on the menu were pigeon and deer. Therefore, whoever didn't want to eat seafood and wanted to get a meat plate HAD to get deer or pigeon which without a doubt aren't not types of meat that everybody wants to eat.

We had a similar experience to a lot of other reviews. Ordered the €75 menu. The first snacks and appetizers that arrived were really outstanding but the mains of tuna and deer were both underwhelming in comparison. Nothing particularly wrong, just quite bland in comparison to the rest of the meal. Food was served extremely quickly with little breathing room between courses. The experience felt quite rushed even though it was over two hours . We had a few servers during the evening who had limited English but tried really hard for us which we appreciated massively. However our main server felt really unfriendly and uninterested especially when we could see they were being a lot warmer to other guests. The kicker came with the bill when we realised we had been charged €2.75 extra per person for bread that was offered during the meal. It's not a huge amount but we should have been informed of the charge, and it not being included when you're already spending €75 on your food is pretty ridiculous. It left a bad impression as we were leaving and we left ultimately unhappy with our meal as a result.

Cute little place. I'm not sure if this restaurant is really Michelin rated restaurant or "pretending like" one of those. They presented dishes well, food quality was pretty good but they may need to work on quantity and service. Even after courses of dishes for lunch, we had to go for dinner soon after. Service was not there yet. With spending $$$$, I would expect more welcoming environment which I didn't definitely get to enjoy.

Apart from the wine list, there is little to recommend this restaurant for me. We had the ‘Olivus’ taster menu and we found the food overwhelmingly bland if well presented. For a place with prices like this and a reputation as it does, I was expecting something sensational and was thoroughly disappointed. I would not recommend going here.
