Fun place to go. We took our girls soccer team here after a tournament game. Servers were friendly and the space was big enough. Everyone in the party enjoyed the food they all ordered

By far the best chicken fried steak in a while. Since moms Cafe closed in round rock. Awesome homemade fries and the bucket of beers 10$ you can tell they've lost some business due to covid, but the food amazing , beer ice cold , service was friendly. Bathrooms were clean. The pool tables could use a little love. Over all one hell of a good time. Price of the plate 15$ I would pay it every time if it's that freaking awesome every time. Thanks yall of Randy's ice house

I love going over to get chicken tenders, they are juicy and not dried out like some places. The mozzarella sticks are cut fresh and breaded not frozen.. bring the whole family over, no smoking inside and it is not just a bar. Emily is fantastic kind and courteous..

This was an awesome choice. You can tell it's a local favorite and a great bar but the food was on point. Had the buffalo chicken sandwich and I'll be damned if that wasn't one of the better things I've had recently. Worth the trip. Just know they'll be busy because it's worth it.

Beer served in a frozen pitcher, poured into frozen mugs; doesn't get any colder than this! Appetizers are off the charts delicious, burgers are juicy and cooked to perfection, and the chicken tenders are monstrous pieces of all white meat. Staff are always friendly and quick to offer input on menu favorites.

First time to dine here and it was good! Ordered nachos off the menu that were good and chicken fried steak with baked potato & dinner salad. Large portions & tasted great! Definitely recommend!

This was our lunch stop on a Benefit Ride for a friend. About 38 motorcycles, some with passengers all stormed in on the place and they didn't miss a beat! Took care of all of food and drinks with great hospitality!

Quick overview here, I've been taking my family to Randy's for years, and it is one of our absolute all time favorites. Chicken Fried Steaks and Chicken Fingers from heaven! Burgers, stuffed jalapenos, cold beer and the friendliest, most attentive wait staff you will find anywhere. Previous comments here of biker bar smells and atmosphere are absolutely ludicrous. Randy's is very clean, fun, regularly full of families for dinner, and I've never observed anything but happy folks and good times there.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this place. Not much to see from the street but the atmosphere is always good and the food is surprisingly good as well. It is a nice motorcycle ride destination we keep coming back to.

Quintessential Texas bar with accommodating service and typical menu. My cheese burger was wonderful. My wife's cheesesteak was fantastic. My sister-in-law's smothered ste as k was enough to feed three. The cook called out orders with inventive banter. Will definitely be going back.

Was passing through Taylor and picked this place due to its menu and reviews, however we were still pleasantly surprised. It feels like a bar when you walk in but everything is clean and there's plenty of seating. The waitstaff is super friendly and attentive, came by to check on us often. The mozzarella sticks were the best we've had! Our group had burgers (with choice of fries or tots) and chicken tenders tossed in sauce. Not only was everything delicious and hot but the portions were huge. Prices are very good and fair too. We left just as karaoke was starting up. Really enjoyed dinner here, it had a good atmosphere and the food hit the spot!

The business establishment has one of the best services that you could imagine in a home town bar from the cooks to the beer ladies service is rated 5+stars honestly and I was washing. Excellent food, great atmosphere and an over the top staff. Burgers are excellent, and I mean really fresh. All of the sides were good, and the beer was cold. Many t.v.s if watching sports is your thing, but they have a pool table and apparently, karaoke.

Sheila was awesome from beginning to end! And best burger I’ve had in a LONG time! Chicken strips are more like giant breasts but also yummy!!!

It’s a laid back place, can be loud at times it has a friendly atmosphere, soundbox, pool tables, darts, huge tvs, great food. I usually get the fried ‘shrooms(yum) burgers are handsmushed

More of a beer joint than a restaurant, but this place has SUPERB burgers and onion rings. (And I’m not even a big burger fan.) Great prices, laid back, with a friendly staff. Worth the drive.

We've ordered to go several times in the last 3 yrs today as my children were eating there burger, wings and fries they asked if I had ever written a review on how great food is? Mozzarella sticks are huge not your average small size and flavor on top is the best!! Wings lemon pepper and hot are delicious. By far one of the best places to eat at or take out from. We stopped here for a bite after playing at the fields nearby. The waitress recommended the patty melt, which was delicious. The mozzarella sticks slammed, and the kids tenders were huge! The draft beverages came in ice cold glasses. Huzzah. We would come back when we're in the area.

Another great choice for something besides BBQ here in Taylor. Great customer service and just as if not better food. They don't serve sweet tea but they have sweetener / sugar at the table. Top three (in my oppinion) Best Burgers in town. Love fried mushrooms, order some, best ones in town.

This place is a hidden gem! Well, with 671 reviews, it's obviously not hidden, but I've lived here most of my life and only learned of Randy's about a year ago. We went on a whim and had one of the best burgers I've ever had. The place was bumping, the staff was friendly, the atmosphere has a laid back, country vibe, (there's no smoking) and the food is beyond top notch! Just go there - you will not be disappointed!

I've heard great reviews about Randy's Ice House. I ordered cheeseburgers for the family and WOW!!! This was the best burger I've had in a long time. Not to mention the tater tots and seasoned French fries were amazing as well. The food was ready in 15 minutes for pick up and very fresh and hot. I will definitely be back.

Randy’s staff is incredibly friendly, attentive and then actual converse with you. The bacon cheese burger was cooked to perfection and the steak fingers were homemade and incredibly. I highly recommend the tots. This place is a gem for sure.

I stopped in because the sign said, "Steaks." They don't serve steaks. However, they served a great Salsbury Steak. I enjoyed my meal and the service was great. I'd go back.

I've visited a few times and have always been happy with their service and good food! For anyone who loves to watch sports, this place is a great spot. The only thing I dislike is their parking lot — it's too dusty. I have to wash my SUV every time I visit. I hope they consider paving it with concrete; if they do, we'll definitely visit more often.

We met some friends for dinner and had a really great time. The service was great and the food was excellent. I had the Cajun Parmesan wings and I loved this flavor. I've never had that combination anywhere else. The atmosphere is what you would expect, with dark wood and a normal bar/pub feel. TVs with various games and trivia added to moments of our conversation, as did the country music on the jukebox. I would recommend Randy's Ice House to locals and travelers alike.

UPDATE**** July 5,2025 Well-this time I was stranded with no way of getting something to eat. I was Doggo-sitting my son’s 4 (YEP 4!!!) dogs Saturday /Sunday and by Sunday, mid afternoon -I was pretty hungry. My daughter-in-law had gotten a new refrigerator right before they left for vacation so there was barely anything in it. They have a wonderful pantry and I ate a Ramen out of the pantry Saturday night for supper but just couldn’t find anything. I was hungry for in there on Sunday. Anyway, I was hunting some food to have delivered on Sunday. I had never even ordered takeout from any place in Taylor or Hutto and it took me a while to find something that could accommodate all my needs -but Randy’s Icehouse to the rescue!! The first time I ate there I had my grandsons with me and we all had burgers along with some fries and onion rings we shared and everything was delicious and cooked to order. Yesterday, I chose a Chicken Fried Steak dinner with a baked potato , a side of mushrooms and a side salad. I enjoyed the CFS once I removed most of the breading (don’t get me wrong. It was nice and crispy-I just wasn’t in the mood for it) it was easy to remove, and the steak itself was cooked properly, there was cream gravy to go over it, and I ate it with my canned Mushrooms on the side. My Baked Potato was on the small side, but it was delicious and all the logical condiments like shredded cheese, sour cream, & butter were all included (in little cups) so I could use what and how much of those I wanted. It also came with a slice of Texas Toast and a Side Salad, which was freshly chopped lettuce with bacon, and croutons, and had the blue cheese dressing I had ordered on the side. Even without the breading on the meat, I was full before I ever made it to the Texas toast. I focused on the chicken fried steak, the gravy and the baked potato. It was all very good. Not sure why, but I didn’t care for the mushrooms too much , I knew they would be canned, but they had a little bit of a tinny flavor so I ate a couple of those, but then left the rest. The blue cheese dressing was great, not sure if it was homemade, but there were small chunks of blue cheese evident, which I appreciated. Because I had filled up on my steak and potato I only ate about a third of the salad. The only thing I missed was the woman who was our server last time I went with my grandsons -as she was very pleasant and nice to talk to! I’m very grateful they were open on the Fourth of July weekend and even more grateful that Toast was able to deliver it to me out at my son‘s house-which I consider to be in the boonies -but then a lot of Taylor /Coupland area is! Looks like this is going to be my go to place if I need some good home cooking out that way!! If you haven’t been it’s worth the drive!!! This is definitely a hidden gem in the town of Taylor, Texas. My grandsons and I dropped in after their full day of school with athletics afterwards they were ravenous as per the norm.(they are teenage boys). Upon entry, we went through a small area that leads to a larger open area that has a beautiful old bar, along with many tables and chairs and booths . There’s also a pool table in a separate room . All three of us ordered different burgers. When I say this was the best burger I’ve ever had -it really was.!!! Juicy and flavorful! I had the bacon cheeseburger. The boys were in complete agreement and said their burgers were fantastic . In fact, as the 13-year-old one was eating his, he kept saying over and over “ this is so good!!”. He had the “Hangover Burger which included jalapenos and a fried egg along with bacon, Swiss cheese and lettuce, tomato, and mayo. My oldest g-son(15) had the “IceHouse Cheeseburger” which included double cheese-mustard and he added a fried egg. This is definitely one of those bars that has THE BEST BURGERS!!! It’s worth a trip out to Taylor even if that’s the only thing you go for!!!

Great laid back sports bar! Staff is friendly and the cooks are hilarious! Brought my family here for the first time to enjoy some good American food. This place did not disappoint! Great portion sized food. Food was hot and fresh. Burger tasted like it was cooked on a charcoal grill. Tater tots is a MUST try! We ordered tater tots for the kids. Definitely will order those next time over fries. Fried pickles were a little too salty but they were still good and the portion size can feed four as an appetizer. Great atmosphere with TVs everywhere. I would recommend this place to anyone. Looking forward to coming back to try other things on the menu.

Went here for dinner and to meet up with a friend who was visiting from out of state. What a nice surprise this place was! Staff was very nice and efficient and the food, oh man was the food amazing! The Philly cheesesteak was really really good and the onion rings wrfd crisp and hot as they should be with good flavor. My daughter had the chicken tenders tossed in in wing sauce and she said they were amazing. Hubby had a bacon cheeseburger with tater tots and for once had no complaints hahaha. Our guest had the club sandwich with fries which she said was amazing. We live about 45 minutes away from Randy's but will absolutely make the drive to eat here again!

We found this place on Google when we searched for a burger place that wasn't a chain, and decided from the reviews that we would try it. We are very glad we did! Fresh, hot, food and cheerful, friendly waitstaff, just can't be beat. I LOVED the HUGE chicken tenders with cream gravy, Texas toast and fries. My spouse truly enjoyed his juicy burger and crisp, tasty onion rings. My first experience eating out in Taylor, Texas, and I was definitely given a great first impression here! Next time we're in Taylor, no need to search elsewhere because we will make a beeline for Randy's ice house!

I call it a beer joint with good bar food & beer prices .Burgers, fried mushrooms, pickles..killer! Perfect for Taylor. Karaoke nights are fun. Usually go to shoot pool. Only complaint is that the pool cues are pretty awful & they don't always have enough chalk cubes for each table.. otherwise thumbs up.

The food is pretty good. The prices are really good. The service needs work. It took a bit before a waitress came to get our drink order. They were pretty busy. She was a really nice waitress. Our drinks and food came out pretty quick. That's a huge plus!! The issue was being short staffed. I only saw 1 bartender and our waitress working. there was a cook or course but the cook was definitely busy in the kitchen. After we were served our food we never saw the waitress again. My friend went to the bar to pay our tab. This was the issue the last time we went there. Short staff. If your short staff the I truly believe that's when the owner should step up and spend their time helping the employees during the busy times. It otherwise hire more waitresses. If they could fix this ongoing problem then they would get 5 stars. Still a good place to grab a burger. Just not if your on a time limit

LOVE that they are now no smoking!!! Great burgers and chicken fried steaks. We regularly eat on half priced nights (Mon-Wed) but I've always got take out because it was smokey and kind of nasty inside. They've now remodeled and it is great. My teenage son and I ate inside the other night and had a great time. I knocked a star off because there were some regulars around us that were vaping. Still a nasty habit and research shows still not a good alternative even for bystanders. That needs to not be allowed inside either. Nice big patio out front if you need to do that.

Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. They were short staffed and kept apologizing for the wait but honestly, the wait wasn’t bad, everyone was nice and pleasant, and we had time to burn. I had a mushroom Swiss burger and it was very good, but my fries were pretty cold (I didn’t complain). Wife had steak fingers and tots and she enjoyed both. Give em a try, it’s a pretty laid back place, inexpensive, clean, and good food.

Burger was delicious! The only reason i am giving them a 4 star is because bacon, as you can tell, most of it was dark burn! You can taste the burn. I specifically said, No pickles... and guess what it had pickles! I like pickles, just not on my burger! The meat was perfect... nice and juicy lots of flavor. I had to add ketchup where the pickles were. I just don't like the taste of pickles on my burger! The onion rings were ok, no ranch to go with the onion rings. The other thing was i ordered it to go, no napkins or ketchup or condiments inside the bag. I had to wait until i got to my sis-in-law house to ask her for ketchup and napkins. Just at least one napkins would have been great.

Good fries and sweet tea, the Burger had a unique taste. Fair prices as well. However, my only complaint was the screaming and loud guests in the restaurant, very loud place. A woman behind me screamed several times, which began an onset of headaches in the area. One in me, and a waiter was seen taking an Excedrin. Not quite the restaurant's fault however it was a part of the experiance. Lastly, a large LBGTQ pride message was seen just behind the bar. In a way to seem inclusive; they exclude guests who dont particularly support such a message. And seems to be a marketing tactic of the modern age, especially in the downtown Taylor area for cash benefit by wearing a politcal message on it's sleeve.

They are great, but Friday night is usually super busy. If you have time to kill and enjoy yourself then definitely consider going. I recommend their fried mushrooms and burgers. Wings are definitely not bad, and the people are super friendly and nice. However they are most likely swamped so is not the fastest....

$36 for a greasy burger, fries and tea for two. If you like greasy burgers, it's great. Fries were very good. Order at the register with a lady who is tired of serving people. Simple hole in the wall bar with drunks at the bar.

Service takes a long while, sometimes the food is good, the first time was amazing, the last 2 times it has not been worth the drive from Round Rock. Better if you have been drinking. Tables are sticky feeling. 2 pool tables, multiple TVs and good music is usually playing. Don't go here if you are in a hurry, but it is a family friendly establishment that provides food and drinks. More like a bar setting, where the locals hang out.

The Food here is hit or miss. I have been several times and, it had only been decent once when I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich. Their Nachos are horrible. They don't use nacho cheese and the taco meat is just plain hamburger meat, no flavor at all. The staff is nice and the food is quick.

This review is just for a cheeseburger I had gotten. The shredded lettuce was dripping in some kind of mayonnaise concoction. The cheese was runny. The whole burger was just a pile of mush. I was so hoping to get a really good burger but this was practically inedible. Never again.

I was calling in an order 15 minutes away from Randy's. I was put on hold and the phone set on the counter. I was on the phone the entire time I was able to get there, park and walk in and was able to let the new bartender that she could hang the phone up, that was was here She said "Oh that's right, I did put someone on hold". Hung the phone up and then walked off. Then when she finally came back around and I asked if I could order, she then said " I can't deal with any aggression and that's why she goes to counciling". I don't need to know why you have problems, I just want to eat in the short time I have. So, I said nevermind, Thank you and left. If you have problems like that, don't be in food service or be a bartender. I have been going to Randy's for a very long time, and I like the place and the people in it, but you for sure hired the wrong person for the customer service industry.

Burgers were SLOW to get made and served.....they are unevenly seasoned no flavor in 3/4 of it ...some wait staff less than professional.

We stopped by to try this place after a baseball game and when we arrived at 12:05 pm there were only 2 people in the whole place. We ordered our food and at 1:30pm we still had not received our food while other groups that came in after us had gotten their food and finished eating and still no food. The worst part was that we wanted to support the local small town business but was definitely not treated with the small town hospitality. A simple acknowledgment or apology for the 1 1/2 hour delay would have went a long way. Response to your response…Like I said an acknowledgement for whatever the reason would have went along way but being skipped over for an hour and a half with children on our Father’s Day lunch with no explanation was disrespectful to us. Owning your mistakes and learning from them instead of making excuses for them will make for a better experience for others.

**ETA I don't find it necessary to send an email since I already contacted authorities. This bar is PATHETIC! What kind of place has children behind the bar WORKING?? Pouring beer. Washing dishes. This place usually has great food, unhealthy but taste great. Over the last year the service has gone downhill but the food hasn't changed much. We went in for half priced burgers the other night and had Trent wait on us. What a total JERK! Our order was wrong , service was awful and after an hour we asked where our 2nd round of beers were, he threw us out, told us we were nothing but trouble. Not sure what happened, very embarrassing and everyone around us was complaining about Trent. we won't be back and in my business I see around 30 local people a day and I will tell them all about Trent at the Ice House.

Great place to hang out. If your looking for adult time on a Saturday night, leave around 8pm. At least a dozen children from ages 6-13 take over both pool tables and the karaoke 🎤. If you like Chucky Cheese, you will love this place. And although the owner claims the children leave by 9pm, I can assure you...they just arrived. Lol.

Tried to order food over the phone and got hung up on. Went to the place to try to get food and sat at the bar for 15 mins with zero service.
