Regular burger 3-/5 Ostrich burger 3+/5 Chili burger 5/5 Good food to grab to-go, and pretty quick overall. I think it's a nice place to stop by if that's what to do, because it's not the cleanest but it is cleaner than it looks outside.

Hey, these guys were dead on with their hamburgers. Nothing fancy, but certainly when you’re looking for a burger you just want your basics. And this was very delicious for a very basic burger. The guys behind the counter were super nice and had no issues with the ordering. Realizing that these folks have been in business since 1956, oh my gosh, the year I was born….has to say a lot about their consistency. Keep up the good work!

I had their Avocado Burger in a combo with a large drink and fries. the burger was delicious I really enjoyed it. the fries were not so good as they were overcooked and burnt therefore I did not eat many of the fries. The large drink was nice and very refreshing. It was nice to visit once but I would probably not go back

Ostrich burger was tasty but overcooked; because the meat is so lean, there isn’t a need to serve it well done. The fries were hot, seasoned, tasty but obviously pre-frozen, not fresh cut. Google shows dine-in available but take-out not available; it’s the reverse of that, as take-out is available but no dine-in. I’ll definitely be back to try other items from the menu as this place is clean, well operated, friendly.

First time dining here. Food was good, atmosphere was very nostalgic. I ordered the pastrami burger combo which was very filling and delicious. My wife and son ordered the avacado bacon burger combos. While being tasty, they were very skimpy on the avacado wedges which were the size of a small tangerine slice. My son's burger had two slices, my wife only one. All in all, we would dine here again. I would reorder my combo, my wife would try something new.

On my way up north with my girlfriend and we passed through and found this spot, the Ostrich burger was very tasty and the chilli fries were great as well. Could use some some updating and a bathroom remodel. But overall experience was good.

Really good burgers! Actually everything I’ve tried here has been amazing. But especially their burgers. I love that they use red onions instead of white and am also a fan of thousand island. Their fried mushrooms hit the spot and their chili cheese fries are so good! If you get a large order you’ll want to share it. It’s massive! Prices are on the higher side but what place isn’t these days? I’ve only ordered to go since it’s close by my house. It’s an older building but it was clean inside. Gripe: They really need to tell you they’re charging extra if they ask if you want ranch. Cause they won’t disclose this and will then charge you 50 cents.

Decent spot to get something quick. Burger was alright, fries the same. Constructive criticism; use a higher quality cheese for the burger and include it in the $11 price. Get some fry seasonings, will go along way with how fresh they were.

I Ordered an avocado bacon burger. Very thin beef patty. Where's the beef, where's the bacon ? Only a Half a slice of bacon that looked like beef Jerry and had no flavor. Idk what it was but was not bacon. Not worth the $ Husband ordered a western bacon burger same thing. Where's the beef, Where's the bacon ? Also not worth the $ $24.50 for the two burger combos. They wasn't that bad but not worth the $ so probably won't go back. If everything else was closed and I was hungry sure I'd eat here again but There's gotta be a more worthy place to eat in Tehachapi. No salt on tables, the bathroom was out of soap, and out of toliet seat covers.

Not great in my opinion, ordered a western bacon cheeseburger made it a double with fries and a coke, opened it up expecting bbq sauce everywhere and it was absent unit I removed the bottom bun and seen soggy veggie’s in bbq sauce lol, burger was burnt on the edges not charred but burnt and the second patty’s cheese was missing, bacon was chewy not my favorite but some people like it that way, once I wiped the veggies off and added a piece of cheese from my fridge and scraped the burnt edges off it I was able to eat it so that’s a plus I guess, the service was pleasant and fast but the burger wasn’t worth $15.

I hate to write bad reviews but I feel like I need to be honest to people looking for a good place to eat. When I walked up I saw a filthy window right in front and a few cracked windows, I thought to myself “hey this place is a bit rough around the edges, it’s got some character. Maybe the food will be great.” Turns out it had character for sure but it was an evil villain! I placed my order and double checked my receipt because I asked for no onion lettuce or tomatoes. When I got my food the milk shake was dripping out of the top, not like hardy thick milkshake. It looked like frozen milk that was defrosting. It looked like she had poured me a cup of milk it was so runny. I go to inspect my food, completely ignored my request for no veggies, I let it slide and took a bite. Lettuce was all yellow, meat tasted extremely salty and wayy over cooked! Is was terrible! I forced it down and took a drink of the vanilla “milk shake”. Even worse…. It tasted like when you’re a little kid and try to make a shake for the first time, you get some ice and milk and throw it in a blender. Yeah that’s what this tastes like. No sweetness, no thickness, it tasted like watered down milk. It did not taste like a shake at all… terrible. Then the fires, at first glance they looked ok, turned out they were only seasoned on the top few fries and heavy at that. Now look, I love fries and after a few I threw the rest in the trash it was so sad. It’s so sad to give this review but it’s the truth. Worst meal I’ve had my entire life so far. That doesn’t even come close to how bad the restrooms were. There was black marks everywhere! Literally, the sink handle, the no touch paper towel dispenser, the door handles, the mirror! The toilet was stained a rich yellow and black. Thank god I only went pee. I didn’t even use their sink I used some hand sanitizer because I felt like I would get Covid or worse if I had! In all this was a terrible place to eat, they don’t care what you order that’ll make it how the want, it’s filthy and I WILL NOT COME BACK! Please dont waste your time here it’s not worth it!

Don't go beware hair in the food refused to give money back trashed food in front of them owner beware thank you for the laughter the women should have been fired they could not care about the customers or business any less than they do instead of trying to make it right knowing they are wrong this place has been dirty did not pass health inspections for years don't let the a fool you look up the results it don't surprise me but I won't eat here again or recommend anyone else to be aware good food is around the corner try any where else but at the burger spot
