At first glance, this place looks like any other, but once you go inside, you’ll find it surprisingly beautiful and modern. We ordered the beef tartare, mussels, a Caesar salad, beef short rib pasta, ribeye, spaghetti and meatballs, and tiramisu. The only downside was that the pasta in the beef short rib dish was slightly overcooked, but the overall taste was phenomenal! I would recommend serving more bread with the mussels, as the broth is so rich that you wouldn’t want to miss out on dipping your bread in it. Everything else was excellent in taste and quality! I highly recommend visiting, and I’ll definitely be back!

I went to this restaurant on a whim and did not expect the food to be this amazing. Everyone enjoyed their meal, the ambiance was well played out, and the quality of food was evident. I would recommend this gem any day. (I did a walk-in but I believe it's best to call in and make a reservation for busier hours)

My family and I come to La Riv all the time, and we couldn’t be happier that they’re back open! This is hands down the best spot in town—amazing food, incredible service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Every dish is made with such care and attention to detail, and you can truly taste the quality. We’ve missed having this gem in Temple, and it’s wonderful to see them thriving again. If you’re looking for a fantastic dining experience, La Riv is the place to be. So grateful to have them back!

Very happy that they are back after the tornado. This was our Wednesday night date night go to! Made it in for soft opening on a Wednesday evening. We had reservations but others made it in without. My wife had beef short rib pasta which she said was even better now. I had the Salmon and it was delicious!!! Service was good considering it was a soft opening. Thank you for a nice evening!!!

We thought we try this place and see how it is. It’s a cute little place. Love the bar selection! Nice place to enjoy a drink or go on a dinner date or even a friend date. Love the drinks I gotten old fashioned they are great. The food is amazing! My steak was cooked perfectly just how I wanted and lots of flavor. The Mac and cheese is okay probably won’t get that again. But the asparagus oh may delicious along with the mashed potatoes. Also I highly recommend their bread that they have on their appetizers it’s great as well!The service was great the first time we went we got a server name Susie I believe she was great. The second time we went we got a different server I can’t remember his name but he was nice as well. We order a pizza oh yes it was wonderful! It was flavorful not too thick had a little crunch great amount of sauce and the pepperoni was good! So of course we had to come back a third time unfortunately we forgot to take pictures of that dish but we got a wedge salad with no blue cheese not a fan of blue cheese so we got ranch instead that was great! I recommend getting that! Also we order the salmon plate with veggies oh that melted in your mouth it was very good. And I am picky when it comes to my seafood but it delicious! Personally I love this spot great food great atmosphere people are nice, food is reasonable price and so are the drinks. Recommend trying this place! Update: me and wife usually come here on Saturday but we decided to come here on a Tuesday and we were super disappointed we order food we usually get and it did not taste the same I guess it depends on what cook is there! I guess we will continue to only come here on the weekends instead of a weekday!

This lovely restaurant is located on the corner of a shopping center with plenty of windows and a patio for outdoor seating. Fresh flowers and sparkling dinnerware adorn the tables. The centerpiece of the restaurant is the oven, specially imported from Italy and the fire carefully maintained at a constant temperature--a beautiful piece of craftsmanship as well as the perfect way to bake pizza. We started with the crispy Brussels sprouts which were fried to perfection. The bacon tomato jam gave them a sweet and savory flavor. The truffle Mac and cheese was served in a skillet with creamy cheese sauce and a crispy parmesan crust. Best macaroni and cheese I've ever had. The meatball pizza burst with flavor, plenty of herbs and spices. The crust was perfect--firm enough to hold all the toppings but light and fluffy, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Our server, "Diesel," checked on us just often enough, suggested great options, and served with friendly efficiency. We took our time and never felt rushed. We are every bit of our meal. Highly recommend!

We went today, Easter Day. The food was amazing and the bread dipping sauce was out of this world. We order extra dipping sauce to dip the pizza which was by itself amazing but that sauce was. Great place to eat. I can't wait to go with adults only. I was with my son and I was not able to get some wine this time but they have an amazing selection of wines.

Nice restaurant. Went there with friend. I ordered their pizza which was excellent. My friend order the spaghetti which was also excellent. Good place to go to.

Pretty good food, but feels very over priced for what you get. We got the cheese board which was delicious. My husband got a pasta dish which was delicious, but a pretty small portion, and I got the salmon which was amazing, but my roasted carrots were basically raw. We had great service and loved the atmosphere, but we need the food to knock it out of the park for those prices, which unfortunately it did not.

I will say the food did taste great, but for 2 salads and 2 pizzas that were less than 10 inches for $75 dollars that’s steep. We expected the pizzas to at least feed our family of 4 but left unsatisfied.

My son and I went here today, and we both feel that the amount of food for the price did not add up. The service was excellent and the presentation was great. I got the salmon and you get a small filet of salmon with a very small amount of vegetable medley underneath of the salmon for $38.00. Nothing else comes with that, and I thought that was an exorbitant price for what little food you get. My son had a beef dish with noodles and he got 3 small square pieces of beef (1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inch square pieces) with small to medium portion of noodles and a gravy sauce for $36. I was floored at how little you get for the high price. We also ordered some ciabatta bread with cheese topping and a tomato oil spread and that was great and the price was reasonable for that. The atmosphere was wonderful, and relaxing, but the cost for such a small amount of food will make us go elsewhere. Again, the service was excellent though. And the taste and presentation were on point.
