Clean and friendly staff. Food was good and tasty. Would recommend this location
Awesome tasting food. The BEST TASTING ICE CREAM IN TOWN !!! I LOVED IT ALL! GREAT FRIENDLY FAST SERVICE
Better than the 1 that was on east st that place had a policy to nuke the burgers before handing them to ya but not the other 3
Great place to eat with my mother and sister Paula and Amiaya after drinking zeal for life the first weekend getting toxins body on the way back to Tulsa shopping for car for a penny down Jackie ford on Sheridan in Tulsa Oklahoma
The food was good had hamburgers and shakes. I used the drive thru only.
The staff has been friendly, joking around with us, glad to see good customer service in this town ! Got taken care of fast, too!
Always friendly staff. Professional and excellent food.
Best place for The BEST BLIZZARDS. LOVE the STRAWBERRY CHEESE CAKE BLIZZARD. Will drive across town to the LAKE DRIVE /HWY 59 location. Rachel you guys are the BEST ❤️❤️❤️♥️♥️
It took a while to get our food but there were 5 of us eating so it's to be expected. They did a fabulous job n our food tasted osm.
I love popping in here for a quick drink or bite. They are always friendly, happy, and enjoying life.
The food and customer service at this location are always top notch!! They never disappoint and always greet you in the drive thru with a smile!
The food was hot fresh and delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great place to eat 👍🥰
Everything was great. Food and service were wonderful. Friendly and clean. New lunch break location for sure.
My family and I had a great time. The service was very good. The food was great. We wish they had tables and chairs outside to make our experience perfect.
All new inside...Food was good..hot..fresh..service great
The manager that was there the day I went is so very friendly. She was doing like 5 things at once because they were so busy and she still made me feel like she was paying full attention to me. She's definitely a star employee.
The Drive Thru speaker was out. An off duty employee took it upon herself to go in and out taking orders and relaying the orders to the crew! Great team work, orders out quick and correctly! Great job! Good food too!
This is the Dairy Queen on Richmond. The staff are always friendly, the food here is way better than the other 3 in town. The staff here actually comes around and ask how is everything. The cook and his helper at this one knows how to get the order right and make it taste good. Their tacos are full of meat, their chicken salad has fresh lettuce and the chicken is hot. If your craving Dairy Queen then this is the one you need to go to.
Please if you are not from Texas, try the dairy queen tacos with jalapenos and onions. Delicious. I even love the taco sauce. We also had blizzards....the frosted animal cracker was my favorite. Friendly. Fast. Great customer service.
I have never been treated so much like family in a strange place and felt more welcome in my own home. great prices, lots of smiles not to mention the best atmosphere. thanks lady's and gents.
You have to love Texas Dairy Queen restaurants. People in other states have no clue how much better this restaurant is in Texas! The hunger buster is my favorite, and I always have to get at least one when I visit the Lone Star State! If you visit Texas, visit a Dairy Queen there! They are amazingly good! The menu is so different in Texas!
The food was excellent! I had a hamburger meal with bacon. Great staff! Great cooks! Very clean and good parking. Yes you can dine in.
Like to eat here. Burgers are cooked to order and always hot. Good pricing. They offer a senior discount. 👍
Everybody lives Dairy Queen....come on they have Blizzards!!
I took my daughter here for a mommy daughter lunch and it was great! The food was delicious, except for the fries and we don't eat fries often. The T-brand tacos were amazing, dare I say better than Taco Bell's! The staff was very friendly and complimented my daughter on her crown she was wearing. The ice cream was on point too! Gotta love that Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard!
Great tacos try them
They were super busy in drive through. The cashier didn't seem to know any thing on the menu. But I'm guessing she's new. So no biggy. I was disappointed that there were no ice cream cones and had to settle for a mint chocolate chips sundae. At first I was disappointed because it's not the mint chip I have ordered my whole life. Instead it was ice cream with some green looking jelly and some pieces of chocolate chip on top. But once I tasted it I loved it!! It was delicious. So my over all experience was great! Customer service was good too.
I went through the drive through. Service was good and very friendly. The food here is always good.
Nick is an amazing employee the rest of the staff was okay but he stood out distinctly I could tell he cared about my order and wanted to get me right and he was very quick with his service!! 10 out of 10 this is definitely a Dairy Queen I’ll keep coming back to and if nick is working you know it will be a good experience!!! Man needs a raise!
We brought our foreign exchange students to try their first DQ icecream and the young ladies behind the counter were amazing and the ice was perfect! Saturday night crew was great!
My wife's bacon cheeseburger and my steak finger basket were delicious when we dined in recently! Two chocolate malts to go really did the trick. Definitely recommend!!
Fast service. They even brought our food to our table to serve us. Store was very clean. Friendly employees that gave us salutations as we left. And as always, the food was delicious. 🔥
Food is worth going to if you go in if you go to the drive thru u order then pull around and set in your car for 10 minutes, today was 18 minutes
This Dairy Queen has the nicest employees. The Carolina reaper tacos were too hot for me and I enjoy hot spicy food but they're too hot and of course the strawberry sundae is the best. Loved my visit here.
The guy that made my banana split was very friendly and made a very nice banana split. I believe this is probably the best dessert for the price in Texarkana. Cold Stone is way too expensive for such a tiny amount. The banana split at Dairy Queen is under $5 after tax and you get a lot more ice cream than other places plus all the fruit and chocolate syrup. I would definitely recommend trying it at least once. I plan on going back myself.
The food was good but they got our order wrong and totally left one thing off, had to go in and get it made. I wish they had butterscotch.
Drive thru is a bit unusual as they bring the food out to you in front of the store after you order. We went in and the time from order to food-received was a bit long. The restrooms were not modern and would not recommend stopping here during travel through Texarkana unless you specifically want DQ food which was very good by DQ standards.
Alays good for an ice cream treat. However, the only soda you could get was Coca cola, which fine, but that was it. Good local hangout. Good drive thru and take out service.
poor service. I ordered a large fudge sundae and got a small. she thought I was stupid. kept telling me it was a small. but I WAS NOT A LARGE.... went be back to their restaurant EVER!!!!! THEY CHEAT YOU. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!
This dairy Queen was spotless. From the front door to the bath rooms. That means a lot to me. I detest dirty eating establishments. Dairy Queen I've cream is a Texas favorite. Often called the Texas stop sign, people enjoy, hamburger, Texas style tacos, and other great foods. This dairy Queen does food choices Justice. If I were to have a complaint about any thing, it would be employee attitudes. No eye contact, no smile, as a matter of fact, no thank you, may I assist you, or any other verbal communication except, that will be $9.90. But, I guess you can't expect every thing.
Excellent service. Good hot food. A little dated and the bathrooms could use some attention, but would go back.
Great Dairy Queen with the most friendly employees I have encountered in a long time. Great service, hot food, cold yummy ice cream and the store was clean!!
I normally enjoy the staff and the atmosphere, but I wanted to eat there today 7/9/2020 couldn't even stand to order food the air was out and the temperature was very hot! Really hated it for the staff. But despite the heat the staff were still there friendly, and polite!
I drove thru. The person in front of me had a big order so the girl attended to my order by coming out and bringing it to me and taking my payment. Though the peanuts in my parfait were not all good. Some had an odd crunch to them??
Pretty clean and nice Dairy Queen. The fries were kinda heavy and dense, like too much oil. Otherwise, it's very good.
Often a busy place. A bit dated; however, for a burger place, the food is good. The ice cream products can't be beat.! Service can be slow; but, as mentioned, it gets busy.
Good authentic homestyle burgers and fast food. The burgers taste like burgers not sandwiches or microwave items. Delivery is slow not Services because they actually prepare the items right then. There is some prep work as there is with all restaurants. always recommended for fast food be prepared to wait a little.
Service is good, food is always hot & good.
We come to dairy Queen here in Texarkana when we're visiting my wife's family. It's always good. Food is hot and fresh. The crew is focused on their work. It's clean in here. I had the Hungerbuster JR combo (fries and a medium drink) no onions add mayo/ extra mayo. Good amount of lettuce and tomatoes. A bit of trivia that you probably didn't know, Dairy Queen's grill food items are different depending on which region of the country you are in. On the west coast the grill menu is different. Yes they had burgers fries and chicken items, but the burgers are very different. Be careful coming in here when it's been raining outside, the floor is very slippery for some reason. More so than you would expect. I seem to recall it is always that way here every other time we've been here over the years.
Very clean and meticulously maintained. Friendly folks at the counter. Easy to get to off I30, but if you're headed down 59 you have to go a little out of the way and make a u turn to get on 59. Not the best parking lot if you're in a large RV or towing a trailer but there's an adjoining shopping center with plenty of open parking space
Service was great. Staff was friendly and was working hard to keep the place clean. French fries and chicken strips were a little over cooked. Restaurant design made the noise level high so it was difficult to talk with the people at my table.
Slow service is commonplace here, regardless of how good treats and HungrBusters are or aren't. Special ordering instructions are often not attended to very carefully, either. The line for drive thru service at the window is one in which you may find yourself waiting for far too long, only to finally get to that tired window and to thereby be told to move and park around the front (to wait longer still) where your order will be delivered curbside. Common courtesies are unrequited, mostly. You seldom hear an appropriate response (such as, for example, "you are welcome") other than an occasional "uh huh" or "yeah" in politely expressing any thanks to employees. (Silly? Maybe. But, that just urks me--in part because I think it's representative of a bigger problem with customer service in far too many stores and businesses these days anyway and in part because it ignores a basic social convention, or norm.) I still 'scream for ice cream at' and from 'Dairy Queen,' though. I'd be lying to say differently. And when I do, it then becomes a reliable matter of willingness to test my patience. Please hurry out with that Dr. Pepper Freeze-- before it becomes a slush. Thanks
Won't sub ice cream for beverage like other stores. Slower than most other stores I've been to. Charged me extra ice cream and not as professional as others. Also, there cookie dough blizzard contained no chocolate syrup. Not a store I'll be back to.
Got the order correct so 1 star there. Really expensive, took waaaay too long so minus 2 stars. Good food, didnt get sick from it so plus 2 stars so therefore i givem 3 stars. Yw DQ.
Been here twice, first time credit cards didn't work, I had already placed order before being told it was down. 2nd time order took a long time and onion rings were over cooked crunchy.
I loved the food, but the customer service was not very good I bought a kids meal, and the cashier told us to keep the receipt to get a free ice cream cone or sandwich We gave her the receipt, and we didn't get ice cream Why? Because we threw the bag away that had the coupon! Well then we bought three blizzards, and one of them didn't have any ice cream at all! Still, I do recommend you to go to this place.
There was a Grey Hair in my Gravy when I ordered a steak Basket. I gave a 3 because this is the First time I've ever had an issue with this Store or Location. Was kinda grossed out by that, but it's not a definite that I won't go back. Just had to add that I did find the hair in my Gravy.
Love Dairy Queen and it’s treats- no friendliness at this store, it seemed that the person serving me w a simple blizzard and a dipped cone didn’t know how to smile. Restrooms are cramped and could do with a good scrub. Ice cream was as good as ever.
I ordered the 5.00 lunch special and got the deluxe burger meal and it was not good at all. Burger tasted just like metal. Fries was cold and soggy. The only thing worth eating was my caramel sundae. Very disappointed
Traveling with my family & we stopped here for kids meals & ice cream cones. Overall the service was great & the staff was friendly. Lobby needs to be deep cleaned. And they charge for sauce which sucks when you order multiple kids meals.
It was a little expensive for what me and my mom got I don't think they should charge $8.50 for a 4 piece chicken Strip meal and didn't receive a sundae either so we are not happy
The person whom prepare our order did a unwelcome job. I will not be returning here.
Stopped in for a vanilla malt. Lady at window very nice and chatty. Got my malt and drove off...no malt, just a plain milkshake. I think I will give up on dairy queens in the area, seem to be bad luck for me.
I went to try the 99¢ Tuesday burger. Was the only car in DT and still had to pull around and wait. Six minutes for a burger that was hot, no flavor at all, had the butt end of the tomato, and onions cut way too thick. Best thing about this hamburger was the bun! In passing by this place daily, it seems to have a decent customer flow but it just didn't do it for me. I won't be returning.
Worst chicken sandwich I have ever had. I can actually say it was disgusting. I rarely write reviews but this was necessary. I asked for no onions, it had onions on it. Does not matter, did not eat eat it. Ordered in drive thru but had to drive around and wait in front, no one was waiting behind us. Took about 15 minutes, 2 sandwiches were over $16 and I did not eat mine after one bite. Hubby had the steak sandwich and he said very average. We will not visit DQ again. To many other options these days.
Never going back here again. They have gotten FAR too expensive to even consider for a quick lunch option anymore. A burger, fries, and blizzard costs 18 dollars now. I will start packing a sandwich in case I get hungry.
Getting into and out of their parking lot during high traffic is nearly impossible. They also seem to be more concerned with their drive thru window and ignore the inside of the store. Good luck getting service if they are changing shifts. Staff leaves a lot to be desired
Ordered one burger and sat in front of the restaurant for over an 20 minutes waiting on it. I don't know how a burger place takes this long
I have never had such a bad experience at a dq order come out wrong and i had to go behind the counter and get my fixed food myself because the girl who should have done it told me to get it instead of putting down her paper work and doing her job pluse there were 3 other girls in there and i still had to get it my self place was filthy and there drink machine was empty but they didnt tell you that when you order
Horrible. As I was ordering my food, the girl turned on her headphone and started taking the drive thru order while I was talking and she walked away. I looked at the other girl confused and she took my order instead. I ordered a special (chicken waffles) and was charged extra for the drink and extra for the waffle. When I tried to ask about the extra charge she just stared at me like a deer in headlights. Said it was extra for the waffle. ??? Ok..... Anyways, the food itself was a joke. Small portion and the chicken was over cooked. Rediculus. I won't be returning.
Restrooms are filthy, wouldn't turn off the awful music, my husband's blizzard wasn't even full and figuring our how to enter their establishment was like driving through a maze. Will not be visiting again and do not recommend.
Customer service was kind of rude today. Not normally like that. Food wasn't very good. But the customer service could have ruined it for me today. Usually pretty good
The young lady 12/29/20 was EXTREMELY RUDE. She had horrible manners and wouldn't reply back to hardly anything we said (we were extremely respectful). I'm 46 years old and that Dairy Queen has been there since I was a kid and this is THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I've ever seen at this Dairy Queen. I doubt I'll even go to the one on HWY 67 because of this. It's sad that I have to give them one star.
I have went to Dairy Queen several times and ordered the same thing.. Regular Nacho's with Jalapenos. I order extra cheese every time.. Somehow this time he told me 7.00 and some change.. so I thought they just went up on the cheese and had him take it off.. Then my ticket was still higher then normal.. when I looked at my ticket I noticed an upcharge for jalapenos but its what the picture describes comes with the regular nachos. I will not be back..
Very rude customers service! My family just recently moved here and I've been to this one once and atlanta once and both locations the Employees were very rude and our order took forever both times. I won't be coming back to order :( and after waiting 15 minutes for my food I get home and we get the wrong stuff.... Huh
these Blizzards were $9.61, 1/3 empty, 100 degrees in there, the employee dropped a cup ( not ours but SOMEONE'S)...on the floor and put it back in the stack, dumped the trash over, picked it up and then handed me my spoon never changing or washing hands...DANNNNGGGGG
I door dashed an order and when I received it I realized It wasn’t correct, I called to inform them of my problem. A very rude woman answered the phone and when I told her my issue she tried to blame me saying she made it the way it was on the order and when I told her exactly what the order said she then tried to flip it on the dasher saying he said to make it a certain way! She then told me to go fxck myself and hung up!
Disappointed with the condition of the restaurant and the service. Food tasted ok but took over 15 minutes to get my order. Still couldn't do it right our order, missing French fries and a lady who's working on the back is rude too.
After 16 long hours of driving to Texas, my family and I decided to head to our favorite family friendly restaurant, Dairy Queen. Expecting a typical food service and staff, we were dead wrong. Absolutely awful service and rude servers. Broken tables and chairs. Fully unsanitary and disgusting. Menu was disorganized and cluttered. The food itself was nasty and cold, not to mention half of it was incorrect. The servers took photos of me and my family. I would have much preferred to have been locked out than sit more than a minute inside that disgusting restaurant. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!
Extremely rude employees and managers who act like they don't want to be there at all. Food is good, but service in general SUCKS! Especially in the evening hours! Should feel welcome to come spend your money and eat! If you don't feel welcome I recommend you not coming here at all!
Worst experience ever. Avoid this place. Worst service ever. I had a small order and had to drive around and wait for 2 burgers. I ordered fries only got one and was told it wasn't added to my ticket. My receipt clearly had 2 combos. Workers very rude. I would give no stars but rating requires at least one.
Can never get my order right. All I ever order is beef nachos this is the 3rd time this month I get back to work to eat guess what only chips and cheese won't ever be back to any of the DQ in the area.
Came in a little after 9 pm. We were told several times they close at 10. The young man at the counter seemed new. There was no ice in the soda machine, they were aware because the lid for the machine was on the floor. The woman who seemed to be in charge decided they weren't serving ice cream for the last hour. Every time someone tried to order she told them "I just changed my mix it's gonna be 25 - 30 minutes before it's ready". We were there 45 minutes, she never changed that time. The whole crew seemed more interested in playing than taking care of customers. The food was pretty much what you would expect from fast food. But, seriously Dairy Queen without ice cream is just mediocre fast food.
The place was dirty. There was a heavy set woman standing in front of the cook talking down to him while the other employees were waiting on customers. My steakfingers were barely cooked & when I ask if I could have some salt, the woman said it was in the box & that was a lie. I will cross this DQ off my good places to eat list.
This place is ridiculous! Everytime we go it's always a person going in and out taking orders, and this time my order was COMPLETELY messed up after paying full price and getting old fries that were cold and BARELY ANY not to mention, I asked for onion rings instead of fries, no cheese on my burger that I paid for... Ice cream machine always down! I'm very disappointed!! I want my money back, THIS should've been free! None of this was cooked fresh like we where TOLD!
Arrived at the drive through and after it taking 5 min. to get a response, the lady just said, “we don’t got ice cream. Have a good night.” Not, “but can I get get you anything else?” Heck, they didn’t even offer alternatives such as the dilly bars which are pre-made. Note there wasn’t a note anywhere on the menu board or anything. I understand the staff can’t help being out of an item, but being rude was unnecessary. Will not be returning to the location.
service was lowkenuinely so cheeks, took FOREVER just to get ONE order out. workers were barely working drive thru so we had to go inside to get our PREORDERED food and they tried telling us we were lying about having ordered. asked us three times what the name was and what we ordered, and still took half an hour to even start on it. i would personally never return and go to the DQ on Lake Drive.
Hours are different than actual store hours, they always close early before closing. 9:00pm on most days is incorrect online. This is also for the weekends. 10:00 pm actually 9:00pm. Service is very rude. I was rushed out and notified the store closed an hour early than what online hours were showing. They have done this multiple times. Beware of the service. Not polite at all. Corporate needs to do something about this.
Nobody in drive thru, took over 20 minutes just to get two things. Only 4-5 people were working and still could barely tend to ONE person. Rude, incompetent, and can’t even get orders right.
Workers very rude and didn’t flip my blizzard with they rude ahh
I got a Reese’s blizzard and it taste like the candy or the ice cream is old. Had that old taste to it. Another thing I didn’t like is that the drive thru window is blocked you can’t see inside. I can’t tell if my card was copied or not. Took forever to get my card back. So many red flags at this DQ I’ll just go to the store and get a thing of ice cream next time.
This will be my last visit to this particular DQ for one cashier did not do her job and ask if I wanted fresh or tots but I did let an employee know right after we ordered that I wanted tots not fries. Staff here is unfriendly and rude and seen like they are just trying to get through their shift to go home ill go out of my way to visit a different location next time. If the manager was here earlier in the day b it's not as bad she needs to get her staff in check
Today I ordered a strawberry cheesecake blizzard and when she was handing it out the window it was melting. Only had 1 piece of cheesecake, this was the worst experience ever. And if I could put zero stars I would so disappointed. Almost $6 spent for basically a milkshake
