It's my first time ever eating here ,and it was the best King Club I ever had. I loved how much meat was on this sandwich. I really hope my next one is the same. I also had Mac and cheese and a ceaser salad the best in town. Thank you for being the greatest experience I have ever had. Yes, I recommend this restaurant. Really good food. Order online before you go if it's during lunch time. It's a popular place to eat and gets busy really quickly. I skipped the lines and the drive-thru and walked in and picked up my food and drove right back out!

Food is always fresh and well maintained services quick, polite, never a problem! They do tend to get a bit crowded during lunch and dinner houra/ rush. But even then they work the hardest to get you through and get you served as quickly as possible. Their strawberry sweet tea is amazing and the best in town. It's one of our favorite places for salads, sandwiches, and soup.

Went to McAlister's years ago and didn't like the portion size and the price. Recently, I went on a whim, and I must admit that I was very surprised and satisfied with the service, food, and prices. A complete 360 was made, and the portion size is very generous, customer service exceptional, I will definitely go back again and again.

Awesome service, great food, even during this pandemic. we went for a late'ish dinner (around 6:30 or 7) and got in with no problem. Probably pretty busy at lunch. Very friendly staff. Some of the best sweet tea anywhere! Would definitely recommend.

We dined inside everything was very clean. I had the French Dip which was loaded with meat, the cheese melted perfectly as was the bread crusty and chewy. I also had the Broccoli Cheese soup which great nice and hot when they served it. My granddaughter had Hickory Smoked Chicken sandwich with Mac & cheese which was very cheese 🧀. Sweet Tea was perfect. Staff was very friendly and cheerful.

Food is always fresh. The staff are very courteous. By far the best McAllister's location.

I had always heard that they had wonderful sweet tea so I ordered some. I was not impressed at all. Never doing that again. On the other hand the food was amazing and exactly what we ordered so next time I will just get a Dr Pepper.

My wife & I had lunch at your location in Sulphur Springs, Texas on Sunday 4/17/25. The Garden Fresh Turkey & Chicken King Club sandwiches were delicious. All the ingredients were fresh and the bread was great. Cashier #2 was very polite, bubbly and helpful in our sandwich selections. The facilities were very clean & the bathroom were near spotless. I will definitely visit this location when passing through Sulphur Springs again. But, the selection of music could have been a bit more diverse. The genre Country Western played the entire hour or so while we dined. Make no mistake I have no issue with CW, but, a mix of pop, R&B, or rock would have made my dining experience a bit more enjoyable.

We were there around 4pm on August 1 2025. First time there. The cashier was very polite. The food and tea were the best we ever had. The cashier needs a raise.

McAllister‘s Deli has the best southwest chicken salad ever! Everything is so fresh and the chili lime dressing is amazing. We ate at the McAllister‘s in Texarkana and the atmosphere was amazing. It was one of the nicest McAllister‘s I’ve been to. The people were very friendly and it was exceptionally clean.

I only got a lemonade my first and only time here so far but it was delicious and the place looks amazing. I'm planning on going back and getting one of their sandwiches and I will post and update it all.

Amazing sandwich place. I just love their breads. Very soft and fresh. Definitely try the spicy southwest chipotle sandwich. I’d recommend it if you like a little spice. Overall the staff is very friendly and the orders are completed very quickly. It’s a fairly big restaurant to dine in. They’re taking good social distancing measures for covid-19.

Thankful for Adam and his crew he saved my day! Olive Garden had canceled my catering order for 40 people 2 1/2 hours before pick up. I called McAllister‘s and he said he would take care of everything. The packaging was great. The service was excellent!

Get the BLT or the berry walnut salad, you will not regret it! The tea is nicely brewed and not too sweet but not too unsweet. Fast service, order from phone. Good atmosphere too! My friend did say the bathroom was a bit messy, but I am giving them the benefit of the doubt because staff might not have had a chance to clean it after a messy customer.

Chain restaurant offering soups, salads, and of course sandwiches. Typically food here is fresh and quality checked. My initial experience here wasn't the best, but it was quickly rectified and subsequent McAlister's visits have been excellent. I recommend the chicken avocado BLT, and the potato soup. Edited 05/09 since I was impressed with the effort McAlister's put into customer service.

The food was great and so was the service. Everyone was really kind to my boyfriend and I. It had been years since I had gone to a McAlister's so I was clueless and all of the staff were very helpful. Our food came out pretty fast too. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it was a struggle to get more tea/a to go box.

Had a turkey sandwich which was pretty good, but the chicken and dumping soup stole the show. The soup was flavorful and extremely tasty. If you get in the mood for chicken and dumping soup, this is a good place. Overall very satisfied with my experience.

Stopped here on cowhouse creek mc calisters in Texarkana tx. We ordered then was told that we had to eat outside with our animal( small chihuahua). Manager didn't ask professionally at all if she was a service animal but did tell us we had to eat outside. Food was good but unprofessional Management. Will not be back

Haven't been to one of these in a few years. I ordered the pastrami sandwich and cucumber and tomato salad as my side dish. Both were tasty. Service was fast and friendly.

Service was fast. Staff was friendly. I ordered online and picked up curbside. My order was correct. The taste however was just ok. It was a veggie sandwich with a cucumber tomato side salad, nothing too exciting. The location was great for my needs as it was just a few steps away from my hotel. They close at 10 pm Sunday night so that was nice to be able to get a healthy meal that late and have the convenience of it being nearby. I've tried other vegan options at other McAlister's and while it's not the best, it was good enough.

This place has the best tea in the area. Their selection of sandwiches and soups are not only wide ranging and delicious, but great for colder weather. Staff and atmosphere is always appealing as well Edit Jan 20, 2020: Changed my rating. Ordered my lunch online, said I would be there at 12:10 to pick up. When I got there I was told it wasn't ready, around 12:30 the manager came out and pointed to a bag that was on the shelf behind me the entire time that was mine. I had no reason to know it was there, and without another word the manager walked away. It had cooled off and I was late back to work. Lunch is not recommended here, the atmosphere is too hectic.

Good food and the service is nice and fast. only ever had a few problems with my food and it was taken care of quickly. staff is friendly and always smiling. this is a great place to sit outside and enjoy a nice meal with friends or family. i will be back for more visits

Pretty good experience for a busy lunch time rush. There was some school event taking place that had the restaurant rather full leading to a lengthy wait and the sandwich being lukewarm, but still not a disappointing lunch given the circumstances. If there's that many people there next time we may go elsewhere. It's definitely worth giving another shot though in Texarkana.

Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. Food was good as we expected based on previous McAlisters experiences. FIX YOUR OUTSIDE LIGHTS! Not one sign light, exterior building light or parking lot light works. We almost passed the restaurant, and then assumed it was closed

Sandwiches are delicious. I eat here often. I love the spicy turkey sandwich. This is a good place to eat when you want something lighter or fresh. The only problem is it is a bit pricier than fast food. Once my bread tasted like it came out of the refrigerator. It was not toasted or warmed at all. Otherwise my sandwiches have always been delicious. My only other complaint is the sides are a very small serving. They have baked potatoes, salads, nachos, soups in addition to sándwiches.

Everything was great, except I was on my lunch hour and just wanted to be left alone not asked at least 10 times did I need anything. I mean that’s great service, but when you see a person trying to eat leave them to it. An hour isn’t that long. Oh thank you for the cookie.

A busy Sunday afternoon with church crowd in full swing. The bathrooms were disgusting and needed tended too. Several tables needed wiped down. Food was delicious and arrived quickly to our table. The cashier was not overly friendly. However the long line to order did move rather efficiently.

Great food! Would have been a 5 star, but they forgot our pickles that we specifically ordered. Will be back!

Food was good, but a long wait 8n line just to pick up a to go order. Order was also not ready when we arrived despite pre-order and plenty of preparation time. Service can be greatly improved here.

I’m a fan of McAlister’s in general. The tea is always fresh and lots of food options for our family. This particular restaurant was not a great experience as it was not clean. When it came time to find our seats, there were no tables large enough for our family of 6 that had been wiped down. There were employees clearing tables and sweeping up small messes, but not cleaning. Our shoes were sticking to the floor and it was difficult to slide the chairs around the table because the floor was so dirty. I ran into the restroom before leaving and found a caution sign with a large wet spot- looked like the sink was leaking all over the floor in there. Overall just a strange time. No complaints about food or service, just cleanliness.

We’ve eaten at McAlister’s in Shreveport, Memphis several locations in those & other cities. I always got a pickle spear with a sandwich. In Texarkana which is an hour from my house ASKS you if you want the pickle on your takeout order. Yes! I want my pickle! For a $15 sandwich I want the pickle. Both times they asked & Both Times NO PICKLE! The Food Is Great! My wife lOves the Chicken Salad on a Croissant. Fresh veggies decent meats. This store took very little care to evenly arrange the meats on the Memphian which has Turkey Ham Roast Beef cheese and veggies. It’s a Lot of good meats! That’s why I get the WHOLE Sandwich. It’s Excellent! Piled on one side or the other and not evenly kinda screws up the thing. Meat & veggies weren’t arranged properly At All. It takes less than a minute to just do it right and not just slap it together with an OBVIOUS Disregard for How anyone wants a high end sandwich. Lack of Training or supervision? Quality control? I like McAlister’s! Should at least be as good as other cities. The Vegan Chili had what appeared to be Grease stuck to the cup! It was Terrible! I’ve eaten it several times but here it was bad. Cutting costs & quality to save a few cents is a bad business decision. Yesterday after my wife’s doctor appointment we went to Schlotzkey’s instead.

*2025 update* Less roaches, and the bread is slightly better...+1 star... Food was okay...Roaches on the walls and under the napkin holders. No reason to tell management anymore because when I did the last time they assured me it would be handled...this was a redemption visit and well...roachville. Firehouse Subs may not have a French dip but I've never seen roach motels there.

Did an online order. Food was good…the lady in the drive thru asked my name, handed food out the window and said let me get your drink. Handed drink out the window and closed it. No thank you, bye , nothing. Customer service is everything these days.

I dont like the McDonald's remodel. They also remodeled there portions. Potatoes are smaller and cakes are tiny for the money...service is dependant on who your talking to.

Food is usually good. My internet order had missing and incorrect items. It wasn't hot anymore and delivery driver didn't knock. Maybe this should be a 1 star.

The grill cheese sandwich was perplexing. How can anything that came from a grill/hot surface be soggy on the bottom? Hmm.. The sandwich tasted decent but looked pretty sad. The Memphian was good. The tomato and cucumber salad was very good and fresh.

I decided to try this place because I’ve heard the food is really good, and it was. The only problem is that at no point did they tell me how I was supposed to get my food after I paid for it. I found out later that they are supposed to give you a number, which they never did. I finally went back about 20 minutes later to check on the status. They had my plate sitting at the end of the shelf area the whole time, and had never made any attempts to figure out who it belonged to. Additionally, the tables seemed like they were cleaned with dirty rags/water because they had a dirty, sticky feel to them, and the tile floors appeared to be caked in years of dirt and grime. I may try it again one day but I won’t be in a hurry because there are many other options in Texarkana.

This place was a mess...the floors were sticky in the dining area and the bathroom was gross. The flush lever on the toilet literally sprays water on you when it is used.

Food quality has really gone down here lately.

I have been eating at McAlister’s for years. I have been satisfied with most everything I have ordered in the past. Recently I have been using the call ahead pickup window. The convenience is nice, but things have certainly changed. I know prices have gone up everywhere. But, describing my last two orders from McAlister’s the portions compared to the price have been totally unsatisfactory. The sandwich was mostly bread, and the side order may have contained two tablespoons of mac/cheese. The sandwich was over $10 with tax. It wasn’t very tasty because there was a fraction of ingredients. I gave them a 2nd and I think a 3rd chance, but now I’m done with them. The time before last I ordered a salad, and got home with NO dressing. I think they are taking advantage of customers during this difficult time where food prices have gone up. I hate that this has happened. But, I don’t want a “half done” child’s meal when I’ve ordered a full sandwich, and side. 😟.

Wife and I ordered food to go. She ordered the Turkey Cobb with no bacon and it had bacon on it. She is allergic to pork. We looked at ticket and it did not say no bacon so we don't blame the kitchen. Floors were very dirty. Two managers leaning against the office door talking about video games in full view of several dirty tables and straw wrappers on the floor. I gave two stars because the fire roasted soup was good...but that's not due to the cafe. I'm sure it is brought in frozen. Sloppy work people.

Drove across town to get a French dip sandwich. Took it home and there's no au jus. The sandwich has no toppings or sauce because you're supposed to dip it. It's no good without it. The pick up windows was very slow also. 2 stars for the soup, which I know they received frozen in bags and put in a thermalyzer. Oh, also, no silverware for my wife's salad. Why bother with this place?

I've been coming to McAllisters several times a week sometimes multiple times a day for 3 years now. I've always enjoyed the food and the team. I was 5 stars for a long time! But in the last 4-5 months, this place has PLUMMETED in service and the builsing is just not taken care of like it should. They almost seem annoyed you're there and my simple order is more consistently wrong. I really hope this place turns back around...

We had heard about Mcalister's and was told it was a good place to eat. So we decided to try it today. The place was clean and had a good atmosphere. My husband ordered a Italian sandwich. I ordered a Ceasar salad. My husband was almost finished and I hadn't received my salad. The manager apologized and refunded our lunch. The waitresses never apologize. This was bad enough but we did not get the money from the tip. This was added without our knowledge. A tip is from the customer to the the person giving us service. We as the customer decide if we want to leave a tip. And how much. But worse than that they use a pooling system, which we saw on our receipt. So bad service is rewarded. Bad attitudes are rewarded! We don't like to go just on first impressions but because of this we will not return. I have been a waitress and the best way to bring down the service is to reward bad service. And the customer has the right to tip or not tip. A business should NEVER automatically charge for this!

This McAlister’s has disappointed us so many times. I finally decided to leave a review so maybe something will change. It’s not a management problem, it’s a food quality problem. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad last night and the lettuce was so old and disgusting! The chicken and dressing were amazing but I couldn’t even eat it because every bite of lettuce was brown or translucent. It was like they chopped the lettuce 5 days ago and it had been sitting in a fridge all week. I’m also so annoyed that they close their pink lemonade machine down at 7:50 when the restaurant doesn’t even close until 9pm. Why can’t I order pink lemonade during regular business hours? It’s just pure laziness. Texarkana has a way of ruining restaurants and this one is no different.

This used to be an awesome location. Managers cared, food was great, bathrooms were clean. I have ordered 3 times in the last month- everytime food is completely wrong. The GM doesn't care, bathrooms are gross, they take food back from you through the drive thru window, even when you tell them you just came from the hospital and are sick and contagious, there are trash bags piled up by the back door, instead of in the trash bins!! Hire new management or close it!!!

SO burnt and old!!! My husband’s was the same way. The Mac & cheese is made with block cheese & it’s not good. Very disappointed!!

They got rid of their bread bowls, which was a lot more affordable and filling than most of their other items. Also one of the main reasons I bother with an overpriced fancy sandwich shop. Disappointed, and don't plan on coming back unless they make the decision to put it back on their menus. Their service was also much better in the first good amount of years when they opened, but now it's fairly generic, and not worth it if you can find the same things for elsewhere at a better price.

My husband and I used the app to order at our table. His food came and the team member said he would be right back with mine. Fifteen or twenty minutes later, I had to have my husband go ask about my food. They apparently had not even prepared it. When I got my baked potato, it was so over cooked it tasted like rubber. I happened to post about it on Twitter and the McAlister’s account reached out and said the franchisee would be in touch. I haven’t heard a word. It’s really disappointing because I enjoy McAlister’s but I probably won’t return for a while. Update: I reached back out to the McAlister’s Twitter and was told that my concern got “caught” in their system but has now been successfully submitted to the location. Who knows if I’ll actually hear from anyone.

Now McAlister...what is this? 🤔🤨I asked for a half southwest chicken wrap hold the relish, corn and avocado. And this is what I got...not even the roasted peppers are there. And I asked for a side of sour cream and I get a pickle....😐

Been eating here for years but recently it has not been good. First i spent the extra money to get avocado on my wrap, not one piece. Second, this size for half a wrap?? Smallest half I have ever gotten from here. Tried calling to tell them about their mistake, and they hung up on me! Slackers.

Ordered food from door dash who was awesome however the restaurant failed to do their job and this is not the first time we have had missing items how can you send out an ultimate nacho with no cheese dip we was not just missing the cheese dip but the tomatoes and the black olives along with my husbands pickle spears with his half sandwiches no just one but two the lack of attention in this restaurant is ridiculous

We got molded fruit 4 times. My daughter and husband got a fruit cup with both of their meals. The first ones were both molded and I took them to the counter and the lady took them to the back, changing out the molded fruit for other molded fruit, then sending it back out. Okay, this might sound petty but it is truly upsetting. I come here all the time and order the same thing. A Smoked Pepper Jack Turkey, tea, tomato soup and a pickle spear. Easy. Well this is the 3rd time I have come in and ordered and they say they have no pickles. Is management not keeping up with inventory? It's ridiculous. GET MORE PICKLES!!

I ordered the black angus club and a side salad. The sandwich was a total piece of crap. Supposed to have red onion, sharp cheese and greens, as well as horseradish sauce and mayo. There were NO onions, greens or sharp cheese, and the horseradish and mayo was so slapstick and thin (I took pics) that it was next to non-existent. Bacon was not fresh and was tough. The roast beef wasn’t much better. And, it was not half a sandwich. It was two wedge pieces that would equal maybe a fourth. I’m so disappointed and, frankly, PO’d, because it was delivered and I’d have had to come to town to get a replacement. What a complete disappointment after hearing such good things about this place. I’m sure they’ll refund the cost, but, I’m now pissed AND hungry. 😡
