Decent place to stop for BBQ brisket. Sadly, the faint scent of a bathroom cleaner was detected after entering. It faded away gradually, but it was overpowering when visiting the restroom. The brisket platter was really tasty, and they have a delicious BBQ saucer to put on it. The beans were good as well, but my fries weren't hot. There's an awesome cupcake place inside, you'll want to take some when you leave!

The atmosphere was a little loud, but tolerable. My wife got the Brisket nachos, and they were amazing, I got the sliced brisket which had a lot of fat which I didn't eat. Beyond the food the service was good.

Bite Me

Went to this place in after noon. I ordered a NY strip. The steak was good. It was medium to medium well. The wait staff was excellent and attentive. The refilled my drink without asking. This location was a little out of the way. Got a chuckle about the "World Famous" BS on menu. Never hear of place before my eating here.

My server was fantastic! My food was disappointing. The ribs were "falling off the bone tender", the sausage was average, and the first serving of brisket was almost jerky. They made it right with another serving which was average at best. Told my poor waitress, not to be insulting, but I can get better brisket in North Carolina. (that has been true for all three local places I've tried so far) My blackberry cobler was comped and was delicious. Might've been a bad night.

Great atmosphere great and friendly staff. Ordered brisket plate, okra and green beans. The brisket was dry and tough, okra undercook(could've cooked 3 min longer) the green beans were good. I would say the BBQ is probably a second choice for a restaurant like Chilli's. That is my opinion but I will not be ordering BBQ from here but might try something else next time

Not enough for a good meal and for Texas. Rather disappointing. Purchased salad sauce, dry steak, frozen onion rings, and I think ribs weren't homemade either. Not worth the talk. Erica was good as a server.

Tried this place first time on the way home from a road trip. I had some ribs, bake potato and beans. The place was well decorated love the vibe! The service was good always checked in to make sure was good. The ribs was tough to chew but I enjoyed the beans and bake the potato the most.

It was my husband's birthday, so we went to the Silver Star Smokehouse for some dinner. I ordered the smoked sausage with potato salad and french fries along with a side salad. My husband ordered a chicken fried chicken dinner. The sausage was good, but spicy. The potato salad wasn't good. It had a lot of mustard in it. I didn't eat it. The fries were okay. My husband liked the chicken fried chicken. After dinner, I ordered some cupcakes. The cupcakes were okay. I didn't like it enough to return a second time. The decor was great.

The restaurant has a good atmosphere. There are several party rooms. I was there with a large party, I would expect slow service, but this was really slow. I ordered a Shirley Temple and fries with meat. Neither were good. I don't think I'll return

Was hesitant about ordering because there prices are ridiculous but figured hell maybe it's good and decent amount of food, hell I was wrong. Saled was basic as it gets and look at pic for how much steak you get with it, what a joke, nachos were just as pathetic also. We asked for silverware because it was take out nope they forgot that and put the cheese dip on it's side so spilt all over. Maybe eating there would be better but if you dont care about take care what make anyone thing worth going in.

When we walked into the restaurant there was a nice crowd. The Hostess was friendly and everyone was in a great mood. Our server Erin was the bomb I'm not taking away from her service because it was outstanding. My daughter ordered the armadillo eggs and they were really good. Now the problem I had was my onion rings and okra were cold and my pulled pork was dry like it had been sitting for a minute. The smoked turkey was dry and my ribs were not good. My daughter was like we should try them early in the day. So I am going to give it another chance because like I stayed the restaurant was busy there were birthday parties in both their party rooms.

Never been here before from out of town went in to get a ribeye and was met by the bartender which was very nice and took my order promptly, but it took 35 minutes to get my food and I ordered a rare steak, if you can look at the picture and tell me if that’s rare or not. It’s almost well done now. I know why it took 35 minutes because he was over cooking my steak. I’ll never come back here again.

If I could give less than zero stars, I would! Our appetizers and salads came out at the same time. First thing we did was pour the dressing on the wilted lettuce, and here comes our entrees. We didn’t even get to take a bite of the salad. Made a comment to our server whose name was not given. She offered to take the entrees back. Nope, it’s fine. Finished our salads and cut into the ribeyes that were ordered Medium. His was medium rare, mine RAW! The manager (Mikey) comes to our table and asks if I wanted to send the steak back or get something else. I asked for it to be taken back and recooked. The same piece of steak comes back out, still RAW! I asked for a new piece of steak cooked Medium. The steak was medium rare at best. I asked why it was in two pieces. The manager said when she stuck the thermometer in it, it ripped the steak into two pieces. Really?! This manager did nothing to remedy the situation. I asked if she could remove something off the check. She said she asked earlier if I wanted it taken off. She did not. When I said I wanted it taken off, she then refused. She didn’t offer anything! I had to ask someone else for refills because our server was too busy visiting with the bar goers. I then had to ask for our check, because once again she was nowhere to be found, oops there she is, in the bar again! Needless to say, we will not be visiting this restaurant again!

Food was extremely overpriced and very late. The manager could not have cared less about how delayed the meals were or how poorly the situation was handled. The attitude was essentially, “You eventually got it, deal with it.” I would never recommend this place. Crappy service.
