The food is delicious, and the atmosphere of the place is very pleasant, with both indoor and outdoor seating. However, the service is very poor — the staff isn’t attentive to your needs. We had to wait a long time on both days we went for breakfast. I’m not sure if it’s due to a lack of staff, but when they did attend to us, they were friendly.

While visiting the area, my wife and I ended up eating here twice in 1 week. Our server Sean was hands down a true unicorn in his profession. While customer service is on the decline, especially in the food industry, Sean goes above & beyond to communicate, suggest entrees, and take care of us. He's the reason we went back the second time. Sean is always smiling, full of laughter, and very attentive to supplying his customers with a 5-star experience. Thanks, Sean, respectfully & sincerely your new friends from OHIO.

Super crisp and fluffy fries. Burger is good. The local La Rubia blonde ale is great with it. Fantastic service from my server Brian. Very personable and friendly. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the best damn bartender in town, Jose. He is the best.

What a great experience! Wonderful service. Chef came out and recommended the market catch, which was corvina. I opted for redskin mashed potatoes, instead of rice. It was Excellent! Best hotel meal I’ve had in at least a year, and I stay in 2-3 hotels per week. Everything I saw them serve looked delicious.

I enjoyed every single meal. They’re fries are to die for. The waitresses and bartenders were all super nice and helpful. Glad to know place was in the DoubleTree where we stayed. We’ll definitely be back more fries and mahi mahi.

As an airline pilot you can imagine that I spend over 200 nights a year in hotels and the majority being at Marriott and Hilton, usually trash food at a ridiculous price leaving me going back to my room feeling like I was taken advantage of and not in a good way. Still, I had a special for the night, blackened snapper. It was the best hotel restaurant meal I’ve ever had. Not only that it was complimented by a very thorough and highly positive experience with the waiter Eric, he has such a positive and friendly vibe that was accommodating as well. If you’re even staying near this hotel and restaurant (port south at double tree), please pay a visit and if it’s over the weekend ask for Eric as a server. Don’t let me forget to say the busser was great as well. I think his name was Keelan and he kept the unnecessary clutter away so we could enjoy the small high top table we sat at to enjoy the water front view of the intercostal.

Great ambience pool side outdoor n indoor seating. The chef's special shrimp pasta for dinner tasting delicious. The breakfast options were also plenty and reasonable pricing. Great service.

Let me start off by saying the service was amazing! The gentleman with the the Man Bun was amazing. We had a hickup with our food but he accommodated us the best he could. And plus minor things like that is not worth stressing over. I got the Steak with the Chimichurri Sauce and a side of the Seasoned Fries. It was amazing till the very last bite.!!! My lady got the Jerk chicken with the Rice and Grilled Vegetables. I caught myself picking at her plate a couple times lol. Overall Two Thumbs Up.!

Had an amazing server(jackie), will definitely recommend to my friends this place, she made the difference. Food tasted amazing. Didnt had to wait long to get our food for 4 people.this place is really clean and everyone is really nice. Love it.

After a busy day, the Port South Bar & Grill was the perfect place to enjoy some delicious dishes.

Great food, service was NOT worth the $38 service fee! Waitress took long bring water, never replaced napkins even after being asked twice & reminded several more times

We chose the restaurant due to getting in later in the evening and we were staying at the hotel. The place was relaxing with only a few groups in there. They had a bar which provided quick service within the restaurant. Our waiter was prompt and courteous with great recommendations. They recently updated their menu so what we saw on the internet wasn’t exactly what we saw there, but nonetheless good; I uploaded a pic of the new menu. We started with their chowder which contained multiple proteins and tasted like minestrone, very good. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Tacos, very delicious and cooked to perfection, would recommend. My wife had conch fritters and plain chicken wings. The fritters had a good flavor and were cooked well. Her wings were a different story. Half were over cooked and dry/falling off the bone and tough to eat. The other half were great, the lack of consistency is why I marked the stars down. We were able to charge the meal to our room and the gratuity was already added in so we did not need to worry about this. I would recommend.

Service was slow to be seated, to be served, and rather expensive for what you get. Staff was pretty friendly and there food was decently good. I came for breakfast. Had a Belgian waffle and coffee. The coffee was pretty good for drip coffee. If I return I'll try something new and report back. The outside seating area is nice and had a partial view of the pool and canal.

We tried to eat here.. but we never got our food. My wife and I ordered the classic breakfast for me and avocado toast for her. We waited over an hour and watched multiple families show up, order after us, and get their food before us. We decided to leave, and I found the waitress to let her know and she couldn’t remember who we were. Awful service.
