Great as always , 10/10, pity about of the group of 10 plus irish family beside us 6/8/23 that happened to be entitled and rude to the waiting staff when It was very clear that they were under massive pressure as the restaurant was clearly very busy yet they expected so much from the staff....

During our stay on Lanzarote we had dinner at Royal a few times. The food is very, very good. During our stay, the service was good and friendly. Nothing to complain about.

Great food, great atmosphere and super location. Just left there twenty mins ago and my partner left her new guess outfit beside our table. Unfortunately there isnt a phone number to contact them on to enquire if any honest soul handed it in. I'll keep you all posted

Fabulous service, food was tasty. Three of us had the fillet steak and I had the lasagna. The Owner was a great host all evening. We will return one more time before we fly home

I’m OBSESSED with eating here!! Jenny and Miguel are the best ☺️ every meat dish here is worth trying but my personal fav is the ribs, they taste as close to the kind as I eat at home (in USA) as I’ve ever had in Europe. Do yourself a favor and stop and eat here!!!!!!

For what felt like 15 minutes of searching for an appealing place to eat at, with nothing in mind, myself and my party came across this restaurant. It was very vacant with a few odd tables occupied. Compared to all of the other noisy and crowded places we passed, this was a nice mild setting. We were approached by what would be our waiter for the time being, and from the start I knew we made a good choice. Personality goes a long way no matter the situation. With our waiter, he made our experience beyond memorable and such a pleasant place to eat at. He had character that I’ve never come across anywhere - energetic, friendly, humorous, and very kind. This goes the same to the other gentleman we spoke with. The food was authentic, with no problems whatsoever. I chose the Caesar Salad, and one of the eye catching dishes another member of my party chose was Rigatoni pasta with sliced chicken. That, looked absolutely amazing. In short, definitely consider paying a visit on your way. It was shocking to see how many people passed, only to queue up in front of several other restaurants. Sometimes taking a chance turns out to be better than you think it will! To the amazing staff members here, thank you for a memorable experience.

Food fabulous, always fresh so worth the wait which wasn't too long. We have been coming to peurto del carmen for past 3 years and we always go to the royal, always a warm welcome from Miguel and staff. Its like being at home. I could not give this bar and restaurant enough credit, we love it here. Good gluten free options available for me and Miguel is careful to ensure this.

We eat in this restaurant 10 years ago while on holiday in lanzarote and eat here again after coming back for the first time since. The food was as good as ever! We had food here 3 times already this week and are coming back again tonight for our final night! The food is just unbeatable! We ordered pizzas (my personal favourite), lasagnas, steaks and carbonaras and everything was to die for! I don’t write reviews but was shocked when the reviews were as low for such a lovely restaurant and the owner and her partner were so polite and very helpful.Definitely come here and give this restaurant a try. You won’t be sorry!!!

Loved it here. The food , atmosphere, view and staff especially Carlos and Miguel are fantastic and so friendly. Can't fault it at all. Made our holiday. We can't wait to go back.

We had the rump steak well done with onions, chips and i ordered mushrooms sauce it was lovely. My husband had the same but he asked for his steak to be medium it was, well worth a vist.

Nice location, four of us ate, three meals were great but my Indian style chicken wraps were very disappointing. 50 euros for four drinks and a meal so pretty reasonable.

They make a lot of fuss with their clients and are a lot of fun. Prices are not ridiculous either. The food is ok but not great though i would eat there again if I had no choice. Staff are friendly but they do encourage noisy behaviour from already drunk punters which is annoying. If you like a noisy restaurant, come here. ☺️

Really nice and warm atmosphere. Didn't have to wait long for the food. The price was also cheap enough not too pricey. Really surprised how nice with was considering the price. FANTASTIC homemade pizza and great lasagna. Fajitas were also nice wraps were a large size. Chicken breast with chips and rice was also gorgeous. Would definitely recommend to try it out.

Came here on a busy Sunday night, service was a little slow which is why I took 1 Star away but the food was 10 out of 10. My sirloin steak was massive and as tender as fillet, prices were very good and house wine was also nice. Will be visiting again in the next few days.

Lekkere pizza gegeten, welke enorm vulde! En dat nog wel zonder vlees. Bediening supervriendelijk en ik had evt het restant mee mogen nemen, maar een opgewarmde pizza vind ik niet zo lekker, dus niet gedaan. Ook nog eens goedenprijzen, zoals de meeste eetgelegenheden op Lanzarote.

Eten is prima maar als het wat drukker wordt laat de bediening te wensen over. Kregen het voorgerecht tesamen met het hoofdgerecht en nagerecht kwam helemaal niet. Dus 3 sterren is alleen voor de kok.

Nicht besonders lecker, die Sauce und der Salat waren ok. Die Pommes roh und fettig. Neue bekommen, auch roh. Schnitzel kein Geschmack und trocken. Schade.

前菜Garlic prawn份量小，蝦子煮的太老了chicken wings還算不錯但有些太鹹。 主餐pizza還算不錯，不過應該是冷凍的披薩。 海鮮義大利麵煮過頭，麵很軟，海鮮過老。 調酒還不錯，出餐速度算快，價格不高。

I enjoyed the meal, was a fair price, was disappointed when they didn't have the dessert I wanted from the menu but otherwise, not bad. We had to wait a while for service and asked twice for the bill.

Staff was OK. Pasta was OK. They unfortunately didn't have all the desserts on the menu.

Hier gezeten en twee gangen besteld. Inspiratieloos, dat is het woord waarnik aan dacht na hier gegeten te hebben. Spicey chickenwings, te lang gefrituurd en dus krokant en droog. En ook de mixed grill Meat was van mindere kwaliteit. Geen salade bij de plate, ook de saus (alleen pepersaus uit een pakje), was niet geweldig. Slechte prijs kwaliteit verhouding.Zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Its in front of the beach, the server is a really cool guy and San Miguel is only 1.50 euro so...its a great place to grab a pint. Down side is the food. Pizza was worse than what you get at Iceland for a pounder. The garlic prawns were tiny and very very basic. I would go back for a pint but wouldn't chance it with the food menu ever again.

We were aiming to the near restaurant Mojito ( read very good reviews) but it was closed so we sat down at this restaurant. Service is ok. Food also. From an italian point of view : pasta and pizza are to be avoided (1/5 stars). Beef steak was good ( 4/5 stars).

Very bad service, ordered steak came out with no onions and no pepper sauce and one piece of broccoli. Never again and don't recommend.

Took a long time for our drinks or food to come, we actually got the food before our drinks, the ‘crepes’ were small American pancakes and were not worth it… The cheese cake was quite nice. I would not come again unfortunately…

Prefacing this review with my opinion that this restaurant was severely understaffed, however, the staff that were working were rude, abrupt and rushing around. It was an hour between sitting down and getting our food, which being honest, wasn't the worst food ever and is the only thing saving this restaurant from a 1 star. I would say that 3/4 other patrons complained about the time it was taking also. Wouldn't ever think of returning.

We have dined here a few times over the years, but it's definitely lost its mojo now. The fact it was very quiet on an Aug weekend evening should have rung bells, but we tried it. 4 meals,.I had seafood marinara, nothing special, but why put raw chilli's in a seafood Pasta dish? Nearly blew my head off. Wife and daughter asked for a small portion of pasta (spag bol) and sea food pasta with prawns...no problem says the guy, both arrive exactly the same size as mine and no price reduction on the bill. Eldest son had the hot plate chicken grill, said the chicken was nice, but served with 2 of the smallest fajitas breads ever seen, ended up with plenty of chicken but no fajitas to put them in! Service was hardly with a smile either, got the feeling they just could not be bothered overall. There are much better places to eat nowadays, and the Royal should remember this, the competition around them and in the resort do it so much better at some places, and priced the same or better.

Food was just ok, staff attitude/ manner was poor. One of our friends dinner was undercooked, they took it away and when they brought it back it was still undercooked. We asked to have the food removed from our bill and were told not to return again, as we weren't welcome!

Personeel niet vooruit te branden, na 20 minuten gezeten te hebben nogal geen bestelling opgenomen. Vonden het raar dat we alleen ons drankje wilde afrekenen en niet meer wilde eten

Food was mediocre but the service was possibly the worst I've ever experienced. The waiter was blatantly rude to us and the promoter guy outside the resturant was irritating. Wouldn't go back or recommend.

Not impressed! Went in at 6pm as we had our 10month old daughter with us. Only a few tables full, so we ordered with one guy only for him to come back to say he's been told that isn't part of his job description so we had to wait for someone else. The woman came over with a horrible attitude, took our order of garlic bread to come as soon as it could for our daughter, breaded chicken breast and a steak (medium) with fried onions. It took an hour for the garlic bread to arrive, 20mins later our food arrived, mine was ok, my husbands steak came and looked like a side of cow! The outside was medium. The inside was cold, raw and still mooing! The waitress told him he should have asked for it cooking more, but we'd already waited almost an hr and half for it to turn up in the first place.

Never have I experienced such bad service in all my life waitress had a face on her because we sat at an empty table for 2 and there was 3 of us another customer gave us an extra chair the waitress wasn't happy and I said can we not sit inside at the empty tables inside she didn't reply but gave us menus and took our drinks order after about ten minutes waiting she comes back to the table and says have you not been served yet I was a bit puzzled by this as she was the one who had taken our drinks order which we had not received yet after another wait of about 5 minutes I noticed that young teenagers who had arrived after us were being served. I have to say myself and my family just got up and left the royal is not a place I will be visiting and the food I cannot rate as we never received anything as the service was so bad never made to feel so humiliated in all my 58 years.

If you are hungry avoid this place. Waited 1 hour for our food. Food was ok. My sons pizza fell apart. Another family at nearby table complained about how long it took to get their dinner. Will not be returning.😈😈

I was with my fiancé. We waited almost 2 hours for our order, no one even apologized. they just avoided us. not nice service. I don't recommend.

Had a very poor meal here last week, have visited the Royal many times before but have a feeling it has been taken over, meal was not even eatable unfortunately and staff were not happy when we advised of are disappointment. Pity as we had many good meals here in yrs gone by

Shockingly poor food and service. mixed grill 18.80 and iv seen more meat on a pigeon. Needless to say I sent it back only to get a shity attitude off the waiter.

Went in here on the off chance and wish we hadn't bothered. Slow service from the off as we waited 15+ minutes to order food, when we eventually ordered we ordered drinks at the same time, 40 minutes passed before the food turned up and still no drinks. When the food did turn up the egg on a children's meal was raw and the chips felt like they'd been kept in a fridge, still no drinks. Drinks finally turned up after asking for the second time but by this point we'd decided that we weren't staying so asked for the bill, the food had been taken off but the drinks we never received were on there so they wanted nearly €40 for a beer, 2 cokes and 3 apple juices. Wouldn't go in there again if it was the last place in Lanzarote.

Very poor. Got a ham and cheese toasted sandwich and chips. And it was probably the worst meal I've every had.. the smallest portion I've ever seen ham was cheap as you get, chips were cold and also my gf got chicken cream with rice again it was served cold it came with broccoli 🥦 and it was literally one broccoli on the side which was laughable.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE

I would give zero star if I could. My fiancee and I picked this restaurant on the seafront of Puerto del Carmen as it was in a nice location and looked reasonable. It was not very busy when we arrived. The manager did not greet us professionally but just shouted "Ola!" from across the room while doing something else and without even looking at us so we did not know if he had seen us. He did not bother to show us to a seat and when I asked he just gestured for us to sit anywhere. No drinks menu was provided and only when we paid the bill did we find that a small coke cost 3.50 euros. It took a very long time to bring us our food, maybe half an hour. Unfortunately the food was not good. The lasagna I had was just OK (edible but more like hospital canteen food) and the my fiancee's grilled chicken was very dry and hard with no sauce. The portion sizes were small and unsatisfying. All Lanzarote restaurants serve red/green mojo sauce but none was provided here. All other restaurants we visited also provided a little liqueur with the bill but this did not happen here. The service was very slow and other guests who arrived later were served before us, even though it was not busy when we first arrived. When we asked a waitress for the bill, she just said "OK" but nothing happened. We had to ask a second time but when I wanted to pay by card, the manager claimed he had "broken" the card machine. Then instead of waiting for me to pay cash at the table, he just walked away. I had to bring the bill to the till and pay the waitress there, who again just said "OK" and handed me back the change in a bucket, rather than directly to me. The whole experience felt unfriendly and I felt unwelcome at this restaurant. I do not recommend anyone to go to this restaurant.

Don't go there. We (5 people) ordered ribs with potatoes and vegetables. They only had three left. Then they first brought chips and didn't tell that they haven't any vegetables. I asked two times where is vegetables and I had to demand compensation. After a long conversation they only gave us shots. Owner of the place was agressive.

Had meal here last night (22nd Feb). Meal was dreadful. Service was very slow, took well over an hour before mains came out. Waiter didn't understand GF despite claims on the menu. Never asked how the meal was and when approached admitted that it was not good. Despite this they never offered a discount and manager was not available, said I could write in a complaint. Very disappointed with our last night in Lanzarote, despite all other places being of good or high standard.

Primero pedimos croquetas, luego nos informan que no les quedababan. Pedimos una ensalada césar que de César no tenía nada. Las papas arrugadas eran bañadas literalmente en sal, el arroz de complemento de los típicos vasos que metes al microondas, y encima todo pegado. Luego el servicio deja mucho que desear:veías a una camarera sentada, otra limpiando copas y otro dando vueltas sin saber que hacer mientras tú esperas más de media hora entre los entrantes y el plato principal. Desde luego no lo recomiendo para nada

El camarero que al principio parecía súper simpático ya no volvió a dar la cara, no vino ni a recoger los platos ni a cobrar la mesa. Primero pedimos croquetas, luego nos informan que no les quedababan. Pedimos una ensalada césar que de César no tenía nada. Las papas arrugadas eran bañadas literalmente en sal, el arroz de complemento de los típicos vasos que metes al microondas, y encima todo pegado. Luego el servicio deja mucho que desear:veías a una camarera sentada, otra limpiando copas y otro dando vueltas sin saber que hacer mientras tú esperas más de media hora entre los entrantes y el plato principal. Desde luego no lo recomiendo para nada

Lentos, pese a ser 2 comandas en todo el local. El servicio malo. Se les olvidó algun ingrediente del plato... nos tuvimos que cobrar a nosotros mismos . En fin, no recomendable.

Tiempo de espera infinito. Mala atención. Comida normal tirando a mala... Lo mejor la música que al menos es aceptable. Cualquiera menos este sitio para tomar o comer algo.
