I think it's an excellent choice for business. You can have a good conversation with your companions, and the staff is very attentive. You'll need to allow time. I went after 2:00 PM, and there weren't too many customers. The food was excellent quality, and the portions were very generous! Definitely recommend it!

Good place, but even though we frequent this restaurant every time we return to Mexico City, I have to say the quality of the food is better than other places that offer Argentine-style meat. If you want wine, you don't have much choice, and of the one they have, you can't have just one glass, unless you choose the 18.7cl wine, which is awful. It's a shame because you can't always share a bottle with your family. Besides that, the service is very attentive and the atmosphere is very pleasant.

There's no good value for money in most of the dishes; very high prices for small portions and poor taste. The salads and pastas are excessively expensive for the quality and flavor; the empanadas were very tasty but very expensive, almost 100 pesos each. The drinks were also overpriced. The chistorra sausage was delicious; the provolone cheese was very tasty but poorly cooked, and the meat was truly delicious (perhaps the most reasonably priced item on the menu). The service left much to be desired. They forgot dishes and didn't write down orders correctly, they disappeared for long periods and suddenly someone who wasn't your server would appear, they removed plates and glasses without asking beforehand—in short, a very disorganized and unpleasant experience. On the other hand, the atmosphere is pleasant and family-friendly, and a big shout-out to the saxophonist who plays very well and creates a lively atmosphere, making you somewhat forget the poor service. The parking, despite the valet service, was only available in one lot, and you're better off parking on the street. The cleanliness of the men's restrooms is also something they should pay close attention to. In short, the meat is fine, but everything else is unacceptable. There are better places with the same quality meat, higher quality other dishes, and fairer prices.

We arrived at 3 pm and the food didn't start arriving until 4:45. They forgot several orders, and the very hungry children finished off the bread rolls, which also took a long time to be refilled. The appetizers arrived after some of the main dishes. We ordered the arrachera well-done, and it arrived medium-rare. The beers were warm; they offered us some, but it turned out they weren't ready... ...a very bad experience, to be honest.

I think what bothered me most about returning to Punta Recoleta after so many years was realizing that the place is simply… stuck in the '90s. And not in a nostalgic way, but in that old, worn-out, almost sad style. Everything looks tired. Outdated. As if no one has invested a penny in updating it for decades. It's a place that, in theory, should feel peaceful, with nice music—tangos, sometimes a pianist—but that only applies if a drunk customer doesn't show up. Because, and this still surprises me, the manager decides to play bar music from a screen, using YouTube without a premium account. Just like that: ads screaming at you at full volume in the middle of the restaurant. An absurd scene. And the worst part… is that they do it to appease a drunk. If that isn't unprofessional, I don't know what is. It also has those strange, limited hours that, frankly, make you raise an eyebrow. It has a "something's off" vibe, like those businesses you jokingly suspect are money laundering operations… but here it doesn't sound so much like a joke. The food, though, is still what it's always been. The cuts of meat are good, guaranteed. But if you go late, forget about ordering appetizers: there's nothing left. And the waiters, at that hour, look like they're "just closing up," so the service is awful. And something that, for me, is a huge red flag: they haven't responded to any negative comments in years. Nothing. Not an explanation. Not even a "we'll look into it." And when a business remains silent for that long… it's usually because they know the complaints are true. In short: good cuts of meat, terrible atmosphere. If you're still curious, go early. If not, honestly… there are better options without having to deal with YouTube ads and managers who act like it's some backstreet dive.
