Grazie a tutto lo staff per avere reso speciale la festa di laurea di mia figlia. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo e siamo stati seguiti con attenzione da tutti i ragazzi che hanno gestito con professionalità anche qualche piccolo intoppo. Il cibo ottimo e tipico è stato molto apprezzato: dal rebechin vario e abbondante, al prosciutto in crosta, senza dimenticare le patate in tecia. Ci avete fatti sentire tra amici. Grazie ancora per aver assecondato anche i fuori menù, come lo squisito baccalà e i buonissimi moscardini.

Bel ristorantino di cucina tipica. Servizio rapido. Sono riusciti ad accoglierci per due sere nonostante fossimo un gruppo grande e avessimo dato poco preavviso. Il menù prevede qualche opzione vegetariana (non molte, ma quello è la cucina tipica che ruota molto attorno alla carne) e i gestori sono stati disponibili nel creare un'alternativa veg fuori menù a seguito di un fraintendimento sugli ingredienti contenuti nei canederli. Consiglio!

Siamo appena seduti da Siora Rosa: abbiamo mangiato, stiamo finendo il prosecco e abbiamo ordinato un espresso. Il ristorante ci ha piacevolmente sorpreso. Abbiamo assaggiato diversi piatti e ognuno ci ha conquistati. Il cibo è eccellente e il personale è sorridente, gentile e molto cordiale. Consigliamo in particolare le lasagne con salsiccia e i carciofi greci con stracchino. Assolutamente consigliato!

I would really recommend this charming cafe/bar/restaurant. I only sat in the bar/cafe area rather than the more formal restaurant part. I sat at the bar which I loved, feeling like I was in the bustling heart of the establishment. It is an informal and popular place selling traditional food, Central European stuff mixed with Italian favourites like meatballs, jota, stews, and the sandwiches made with pork, ham and other meats with piquant mustard and horseradish to give an amazing bang to the taste. Delicious. Good value too. Good selection of local wines and beers. The atmosphere was great and the staff were attentive, quick, and very friendly. I very much felt I was getting an experience of the real Trieste. It was full of locals. I will definitely come back here next time I’m in Trieste.

Not everybody will have the same taste but for me the food was absolutely perfect. Hot tongue, sauerkraut, mustard and horseradish. Followed by a hot fig dumpling. There are, of course, other choices but why not be a bit brave and local? You can eat a burger anywhere. Staff lovely. Sat happily on the street. Go for it! Also, it is good value.

Beautiful Friulian food, as authentic as it comes. Was taken here by cousins who live locally for traditional Trieste cuisine and it was delightful. Excellent service and food really stuck with the less is more principal. If you want your taste experience of the region, come here and have the risotto or gnocchi, which are mouth melting.

This restaurant was recommended by a tour guide, who said it was a good place to go for authentic Triestini food. And he was right! A great selection of dishes with Italian, Austrian and other influences. It seems to be a popular place - all of the tables were booked up when we arrived. The waiter was really friendly and explained the menu to us. Would definitely go again.

While exploring Trieste, we sat down for lunch and had a great time. Of course, we returned here the day after, for dinner. Nice variety of local dishes and a great staff.

Bellissimo locale con tipica cucina triestina. Molto brava la cameriera a ricordarsi le portate senza doverle scrivere… buonissimi i piatti che sono stati serviti con tempestività tanto che abbiamo deciso di prenderne un paio per asporto da portare agli amici per farglieli assaggiare. Buono lo strudel mentre al gnocco con susine mancava un po’ di zucchero… esperienza da ripetere provando magari altri piatti tipici.

Antipasto Siora Rosa “commovente” (in foto), gnocchi al ragù del cortile non male (oggettivamente una scelta non delle più ispirate visto il resto nel menù), mentre la salsiccia viennese merita un 4.5 su 5 (valutazione di mio figlio). Stando a mia moglie e mil figlio lo Strudel è di tutto rispetto, “veramente buono”. Da Siora Rosa ci torneremo e lo consigliamo vivamente. Ci siamo tornati la sera dopo e il nostro voto è ancora migliore (1⭐️ in più). Cucina davvero di qualità e servizio cortese.

Premetto che la cucina di Trieste è molto carica e subisce molto l’influenza austriaca e quindi deve piacere. Abbiamo ordinato un tris di polpette (buone) e un tris di mare con sarde e baccalà e crauti (buono il pesce ma i crauti sono molto particolari e devono piacere) e siamo andati sul leggero con del prosciutto cotto che sinceramente non mi ha entusiasmato, tornassi indietro avrei ordinato qualcosa di più tipico. Bella sorpresa! Ci passavo davanti tutti i giorni quando andavo all’università, ma non ci avevo mai mangiato pur sapendo fosse un’istituzione in città. Contenta di aver assaggiato la cucina, tipicamente triestina e che segue la stagionalità, che ho trovato molto apprezzabile. Buon il bollito misto, anche il cotto nel pane davvero buono. Le patata in tecia sempre una sicurezza. Particolare menzione per il salame al cioccolato che onestamente non mi aspettavo così buono. Illegale 🤤! I prezzi forse sono la nota dolente, forse un filino alti.

Siamo andati di domenica a pranzo senza prenotare, ci hanno trovato posto e fatto accomodare.Camerieri e personale gentilissimi, la qualita' delle pietanze ottima.Buono anche il vino sia nero che bianco sfuso della casa. Gnocchi di pane con gulasch straordinari. Speso 30 euro a testa.

Very prompt and efficient service, thanks for that. We had a bunch of dishes, anchovies, cevapcici, gnocchi with pork. They felt reheated and sort of bland. The menu isn’t large but there were really interesting looking suggestions. A bit of a disappointment.

A typical Trieste culinary experience, with products from the land and the carso, and with links to traditional Austro-Hungarian, Bohemian, Slovenian, Croatian cuisines. Tasty, but not the ideal place for fish lovers or people expecting a large vegetarian variety of dishes. Simple but very drinkable house wine, nice deserts. The team is usually cheerful and friendly, and will try to accommodate you. You will be seated in between older local couples, business men or women and tourists alike.

This is a good place, the food is actually amazing! Typical Trieste food in authentic atmosphere. Cons are: dirty toilets, and no green pass check upon entering (for eating indoors). Siamo andati per cena a Siora Rosa sotto consiglio di un locale. Abbiamo preso salsiccia di cragno e la lingua salmistrata, con aggiunta di patate in tecia. Sia la salsiccia che la lingua erano accompagnate da kren, senape e crauti; non consigliati per coloro a cui non piacciono i sapori forti; il personale chiede anticipatamente se non sono graditi. Siamo rimasti un po' delusi dalle 2 salsicce, sapore a nostro parere un po' industriale e non valeva il prezzo (€13,50). La lingua al contrario era molto buona e morbida, consigliata, buone le patate in tecia. Consigliamo invece il dolce "gnocco all'albicocca". Rapporto qualità prezzo un po' eccessivo.

I didn't want to search for the good restaurant in Trieste to long,so I leaned on the google rating and sat in Da Siora Rosa. My disappointment with the portion of food I got was huge because for the money I gave, I got too little. The gnocchi were overcooked, and the ragu was in traces with a lot of grease. We came here as a big group. We did not want to order the same options for everyone but the waiter insisted on doing so because they said it would make the kitchen easier but shouldn’t the customer have their opinions heard first.
