The smoked salmon eggs benny was sooooooo good and the price is perfect. Would totally come back again. Chill diner atmosphere. Fyi Tables were slightly dirty and you put away your own dishes. But their food was amazing. So worth it.

best brunch of my life omg!! the owner was so sweet and welcoming, all the food came out super quick. The banana pancakes are truly to die for! Portion sizes generous and more than enough. Cozy hole in the wall for sure and mostly self severe but the perfecttt brunch/lunch options. I definitely will be a life long guest and come back

It's kind of a best kept secret ... Good prices 1st, and the best food considering that. Its a classic Canadian-Chinese diner: you can order breakfast all day, and have your eggs the Canadian way, with accompaniments, home fries and toast, or the Chinese way with accompaniments stirred into fried rice. Both equally delicious. It can be buzzing in here come lunch time. No reservations accepted... Just get here early!

I always passed by this spot when waiting for the 99 and I finally tried it for lunch! It’s very cozy and it seems like there’s a lot of regulars who know the owners by name. This cafe really seems to bring together the community and it was lovely seeing that during the weekday lunch hour. It seems like the construction workers start lunch at noon and then nearing one, students from the nearby school get their lunch there too. I got the smoked salmon benny which was the definition of comfort food. It’s not like the bougie eggs Benedict’s you get at trendy Vancouver brunch places, but it’s the perfect dish to cheer you up on a gloomy day. The price made me happy too. I’ll be back soon for another cozy pick me up!

This is such a great little restaurant. Not a lot of seating but the food is fresh and quick, made to order. Had the banana pancakes and they were fantastic!! Def will visit again! 😀

You know how there are moments that hit you out of the blue and leaves a surprisingly deep impression? That was over a year ago when I walked into this inconspicuous cafe. My outfit was still soaking wet from the rain when I ordered this Breakfast, and I still remember being pleasantly surprised that they have sourdough toast as an option. Try to feel my satisfaction when I could still see the golden grease rushing out of the pores of the smoking bread after it was served, and all of that visual activation gets backed up by the olfactory and the gustatory (yummy). And all this for less than $15. A steal in this economy. The portions were and still are generous, and I say this as someone with a highly active lifestyle and a huge appetite. I am only a little bit bummed when they raised their prices just a few months back, even though it's by a small amount. Heals my soul, at an affordable price. 9.9 out of 10. Points off for that sudden price hike.

Have you ever seen so many different sauces available to use? Excellent vegetarian (veggie) Chow Mein! Very patient service too; patrons are familiar with Peter and know him by name. They serve fruit smoothies too! I’m sure more reasonably-priced, and more ethical to be supporting a small independent business, than Body Energy Club next door ;)

This is a darling eatery that has some missing small-town charm in one of Vancouver's more affluent neighbourhoods. The staff are wonderful hard working people, the food is good and unpretentious. This is a great place to sit and reset before your day (or after, they have all day breakfast). I come here often.

Such a gem of a diner! This is my go to brunch spot. It’s cozy, calm, fast service, and absolutely DELISH. I dream about their eggs Benny. Their hash browns are perfectly crisp. Love their coffee too. And the service is so polite and pleasant. The prices are unbeatable.

this is an awesome place in Broadway, it's a little hidden and looks like the 90s a bit, but I wouldn't change a thing. going there feels like a family place, very personal and intimate place to spend time with your favorite people. Today was my second time going there, and I will for sure come back everytime I go to Kits beach! The food is made super yummy and gets to your table in the perfect temperature, freshly cooked for you. Today I had the 2 pancakes, 2 toast and 2 eggs and it was super yummy. I also had hot chocolate again because I looved it! Super milky, my favorite way, not too sweet. The price is great for the food, considering the location of this restaurant. I would recommend 10/10, go there if you can! Try it out and find this gem!

Good small neighbourhood eatery. Food is not exceptional but also pretty good for the price. Sweet and sour pork was crispy and sauce was nice. Chow mien is decent and has some nice crispy bits. Owner is nice also and you can see they’ve been around for a while. Always nice to see small eateries survives despite the competition from big businesses

One of the best hidden gems in Vancouver!! 💎 Really delicious food, super fast, and great affordable prices. The owners are so lovely and I’m always happy to support this great small business. The menu is half American-style dinner food and half Chinese food — there’s something for everyone! Highly recommend!! :)

We used to live around here and we used to come here for breakfasts every weekend. Honestly, it's my favorite breakfast place. It's cheap and delicious and the man behind the counter (Peter) is always kind. Husband's favourite is their bacon, mushroom and cheese burger with onion rings. Juicy beef patty and their onion rings are super crispy each time. My favourite is the eggs benedict with a side of breakfast sausages (everything well done, that way it's super crispy). I don't know anywhere else that has eggs benedicts for under $10. Toddler's favourite is the grilled cheese and it's not overly salty, which is great. I also love their lattes...it actually tasted like coffee and not watered down coffee with milk. And it's a really good price as well. Wish I still lived close to here...I miss my weekend breakfast place, but we make sure to drop by a visit every time we're in the area!

Went in for a late brunch on a busy weekday. Was a bit clueless on how to seat and order since there were no signs so ended up sitting anywhere and going to the counter and order. The food however was very reasonably priced and tasted good as well and they fried their eggs on the bottom when asked for sunny side up which is a big plus. Overall would recommend for a cheap brunch

Lovely little spot for breakfast. Reasonable prices. They offer a lot of dishes but we chose eggs Benedict and buttermilk pancakes. The pancakes were fluffy and light. The eggs Benedict was okay. You can have salad with the Benny instead of hash browns - might be extra, though (I saw someone order it after me). For ordering, you need to go up to the counter. The service was excellent. The man taking our order and serving was really kind and polite. The decor was simple. Felt like a cafe that’s been around for a long time - a staple in the community.
