Perguntas frequentes sobre Jacob Alejandro
Avaliações de Jacob Alejandro Troy
Very nice place unfortunately the coffee was sub par, very limited options. Got two baked goods and they were overcooked. Update: Have been going here frequently because they have completely turned everything around!! Everything is amazing. The chocolate milk cold brew is my go to but the Lucky Charms was limited around St Patrick's day and was so good I went back the next day and they were sold out. I highly recommend this coffee shop!!!
Great coffee, tea, and in-house specialties that change regularly. Scones and other snacks are delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful if you're not sure what to order or want to try something new. A decent amount of indoor seating, along with plenty of outdoor seating, makes it a good place to work from and meet up with people, too.
It's definitely a vibe. Love coming here on a Saturday or Sunday and grabbing a toffee coffee cold brew and a passion fruit sweet bun. Tried the Andouille sausage bun and pleasantly surprised by the honey mustard taste and snappy sausage. Perfect place for a coffee date and just hanging out in general. Bonus caught the farmers market last week and this week River fest. This place can get busy but it's worth it.
Pros: • Prime downtown location - super convenient and central • Clean, stylish and welcoming space • Delicious chai latte and cookie - flavorful, not overly sweet • Calm, cozy atmosphere • Friendly, helpful service - staff was welcoming and happy to answer questions • Great spot for a quick coffee or bite with a friend Things to know: • Street parking only (typical for downtown, not a big deal) • Limited seating and tight layout - better for short visits than long work sessions Overall: • Great experience - excellent drinks, food, service, and atmosphere • Would definitely come back
High quality coffee, both great for to-go as well as sitting down in their cozy coffee shop and enjoying the atmosphere. Decoration is on-point, the music is not too loud, and the staff are amazingly friendly! This was my go-to spot for a place to read a book and just relax a little bit or just catch up with a friend. The prices are to be expected these days, but if you take in everything else then in my opinion it is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!!
An amazing gem along the Hudson. Every time I travel I search out the best artisanal coffee of the place I’ve visiting and my number 1 spot in the world so far is the legendary Ministry of Roasters in Chiang Mai, Thailand, but this delightful spot in my hometown of Troy is the closest I’ve found to MoR in the US. What a delight to find this place! My wife and I visited while perusing shops along River Street and almost missed it but popped in and both enjoyed a different blend of coffee. They were expertly crafted and complimented with an excellent green tea as a palette cleanser. Their espresso drinks sounded excellent too, and I’ll be returning to try the popcorn latte sometime! Vibes were great too. Chill. Classy. But not pretentious. Great tunes and good privacy for the booths.
Hands down the best cold brew in Troy. Some of the more complex drinks are a little expensive, but worth it for the quality. I’m simple and I just order coffee black, but there are lots of other options if you’re feeling adventurous. Gets very busy during the outdoor farmers market.
I ordered a vanilla latte and a scone. The latte tasted a bit different from the vanilla lattes I usually drink — sweeter, with a smooth honey-like flavor. The rich vanilla aroma blended perfectly with the coffee, making each sip delightful. The scone was crispy on the outside and soft and moist on the inside, with a deep buttery flavor that made it very satisfying. It paired perfectly with the latte.😘
One of the best coffee spots in the Capital Region! The drinks here are not only delicious but also incredibly creative. I tried the strawberry milk cold brew and it was refreshing and beautifully presented. The baristas are friendly, and the space is modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell that the owners put a lot of heart into every detail — from the coffee to the interior. Their pastries are also amazing — fresh, flavorful, and made in-house. Whether you’re grabbing a quick latte or sitting down to work or chat, this place is a gem in downtown Troy. Highly recommend!
This cafe offers more than coffee. It offers an indulgent experience that encourages you to slow down and linger in the elegant aesthetic of the cafe, and the rich, layered flavors and textures of the drinks. We sampled many offerings from the menu. The velvety vanilla citrus spice latte was comfort in a cup on a raw, blustery day. My family especially enjoyed the warm spices of the horchata latte, and the delicate sweetness of the saffron latte. And the creative cold brews offered bold and unexpected flavors. It’s no surprise then that the baristas are winning international competitions and acclaim.
I e stopped in several times but in December went with friends to an evening (after normal hours) Geisha tasting event here… interesting experience learning about coffee roasters and sampling geisha style. Tiny but beautiful space, met people drawn to the location from more than an hour away which says something. Love the little window seat nook overlooking River Street. Every cup they put out is a work of art. Inclusive, friendly, have yet to try any of the pastries/smaller bite cafe food but looks yummy. Cute, clean bathroom with the best air freshening scent and I am never a fan of public restrooms.
Outstanding coffee shop for folks really into coffee or just looking for a nice cup or specialty drink. Reserve menu is killer and those are available as pour over or AeroPress you love to see it, friends. Shop is on the smaller side but I’ve never not found a seat and although the line can look long I’ve never waited much; they’re quick! Sorry for the one not great pic, I wanted to highlight the award for their cold brew. The shop is cute - go and see for yourself!
No visit to this town is complete without making it a stop. Without a doubt, this Troy coffee shop is my favorite. A true treasure is cold brew strawberry milk. Jacob Alejandro's ambiance, which radiates sophistication, is the ideal match for the experience. The space's meticulous attention to detail and lush green accents are my favorites. A vibe, that is all!
I absolutely adore Jacob Alejandro; it's one of my favorite coffee shops in Troy. I've enjoyed a variety of their delightful coffees, from my beloved Horchata Latte to their indulgent Chocolate Milk Cold Brew. Their inventive flavors, like the cheesecake cortado, and seasonal offerings keep me coming back for more. And their housemade pastries—each one is a treat, from scones to cheese bread. The ambience at Jacob Alejandro perfectly complements the experience, exuding class and elegance. I love the green accents and the attention to detail throughout the space. It's simply a vibe, and I also enjoy working from here every once in a while!
Place is great for coffee. I got regular filter coffee all black and it tastes just like how I wanted. A little bitter. Cappuccino is well made and beautiful. Too bad we don’t eat much pastry breakfast but they look great. We come here because the ambiance is well designed and the leather couch. Luckily we got here super early and the window seats are open. The town is so cute and quiet for a weekend getaway. I can tell the owners put a lot of thought into this place with little touches. There are a lot of tasteful green color. My maybe future cafe would totally have their vibe. Overall a great place for your first cup to just chill and relax.
I’m a coffee addict, and I was genuinely excited about visiting this café, especially since they present themselves as a coffee specialty spot. Unfortunately, my expectations weren’t fully met. Although the café is equipped with professional machines and the baristas clearly know what they’re doing, the cappuccino I ordered wasn’t of the quality I had hoped for. The beans, as is often the case in the U.S., were over-roasted, and the milk foam lacked the firmness typical of a proper cappuccino. That said, compared to other cafés within many miles, this one is definitely among the better options. There was a line for coffee on Saturday, which speaks to its popularity. The atmosphere inside is pleasant, the staff is friendly, and they offer a selection of pastries.
Good coffee, good treats. But I just am never going to be a fan of the huge up charge for non-dairy milks. You can go down the street to whistling kettle and get your non-dairy milk included!
