Absolutely amazing experience! The people who work here are incredibly kind and warm-hearted — they truly make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The food was freaking amazing and tasted so authentic — just like what you’d get in Turkey. We ordered the Turkish köfte gyro, chicken shish wrap, and chicken shish platter — everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. On top of that, they even gave us a special Father’s Day discount, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. The only small suggestion I have is that it would be great if they could add Lahmacun to the menu — it would be a fantastic addition. But honestly, everything else was perfect, and I can’t wait to come back again!

Best Turkish style food in Troy. I enjoy their Chicken Over Rice, Turkish Kebab and Falafel. Those three are my favourite and you must try! Their Turkish style chicken over rice differs from what is available elsewhere. So tasty, well marinated, with good texture and juicy meat. The lamb & beef gyro could be little more tender and juicy. Great people are working here. Take-outs are excellent choice, because the place is small. I recommend everyone to visit, otherwise, you are missing out!

Coming from a kebab culture myself, I can assure you this is THE best kebab place in Albany! The Kebab Zone NEVER disappoints with their delicious fresh ingredients, generous portions, meticulous packaging, and great staff 💯💯 So many delicious appetizers, sides, and combo plates to choose from— my favorites are their homemade kibbeh, mix kebab and meze platters. My kids literally devour their lamb kebab! They also have vegan options, we love their falafels and grape leaves as appetizers. Highly recommended!!

Delivery took longer than expected but food is outstanding, even with take out. Rice is flavorful, chicken is insanely good, white sauce, yum, pitas delicious. I ordered from Kebab Zone for our staff holiday lunch and it did not disappoint! We ordered a variety of food and everything was fresh and flavorful, and arrived on time. Our courier even took the time to set up all of the platters, salads, apps and sauces, which was above and beyond expectation! We can’t wait to order again!

We came for Big Apple pizza next door which is one of our favorite place in Troy, then saw this kebab store and decided to give it a shot and we are so glad that we did! Found this gem of a take out kebab place in Troy, NY. We sat outside the restaurant and enjoyed a delicious lamb shish kebab platter. Tender and beautifully seasoned lamb with pickled onions and red cabbage on the side as well as grilled tomato and green pepper on a bed of rice. Their white sauce topped it off. Authentic food. Good for the soul.

As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a forkful of freshly knifed meat right off the spit. I knew I was in the right place after that. Everything was absolutely outstanding. We ordered the beef doner platter. Couldn’t get any better than that. And the price? Can’t beat it.

Last night, after 7:30 PM, I visited this halal Turkish restaurant for dinner—and I must say, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had! I ordered kebab, and it was absolutely incredible: tender, perfectly cooked, seasoned beautifully, and full of flavor. It was so delicious, I honestly have no words. I’ve tried kebabs in many Turkish restaurants before, but this one was truly something else. I didn’t get the chef’s name, but he was clearly a true professional—polite, warm, and welcoming with a great sense of humor. Both I and my family were very pleased with his excellent hospitality. I truly hope you continue to shine with your amazing cooking. From now on, I don’t even want to try kebabs anywhere else—because I’ve found the best kebab in the world! Great, fast, and delicious food! I showed up slightly before opening and the chef (nice older gentleman) still let me in! Much appreciated because it was snowing outside! I ordered the beef and lamb gyro! Paid $12 and waited less than 10 minutes to receive a wrap the size of my forearm filled with fresh veggies, homemade white sauce, and delicious meat! The meal came with a side of more white sauce, spicy red sauce (love the spice!), and a bag of chips! The wrap was slightly toasted and strong enough to support the insides without any spillage, yet still soft and fluffy! The side of white sauce was very refreshing and complimented the savory meat. The meat was juicy, but not over oily/fatty. Overall, 10/10! My new favorite lunch spot! I am excited to go back and continue to explore their menu! P.S. I meant to take more pictures to show the inside of the wrap but I was enjoying the food so much that I ate it all before I remembered!

Have been a regular at this place, they have one the most authentic Turkish shawarma/diner you can get in the area. Its made live on the rotating meat cooker. Their expertise with crafting the wrap is impeccable, the chicken is perfectly cooked and a little hard on the outside but juicy on the inside. They have a gyro burger for just 10bucks with drinks, but the show stoppers for us have to be their kebabs , grilled to perfection 👌, you can go much wrong at this place and the owner is always willing to help and guide you with your preferences. Give this place a go . You will love it , this place is open till late in the night, like really late ! They recently introduced boxes for takeout that such a genius idea the takeaway food does not get impacted by steam and stays in its best form even after delivery.

I use Kebab Zone frequently to cater office lunches in my profession. I was in Troy for a piano recital for my daughter and decided to stop by the restaurant and have lunch. Service was exceptional and the food was great as always. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Came into this place and was treated like a true queen. Was able to taste items I had never tried at no charge. Exceptional experience! Now I know what I would like larger portions of next time. Portion size was tremendous being that I was ordering for one. Extremely fresh ingredients that made my body feel instant healing as I ate. I was actually given a discount before she even knew I had a student ID; and was discounted even more after she found out I was student. Wide variety of drink options; including delicious sparkling water and yogurt drinks you wouldn't be able to get just anywhere. To top it all off you get to watch the chef preparing your food, which was an experience in itself. Watching the meat spin and drip while standing there will have your mouth watering. Listen to me... they are opened 365 days of the year. I know what my family will be having this Christmas. Kebabs, gyros, and all the fixings catering. I can't wait to see everyone's faces. Even more I can't wait to feed my friends and family a new experience with a flare of great zest and taste, and overall a healthy gut going into the new year. Thank me later!

Great spot for Mediterranean / Middle Eastern take out ! The meals are delicious and fresh. (I've had several menu items). The service is super friendly and accommodating. The folks who work there are all very nice. The various meat platters over rice with veggies and salad are awesome. The prices are reasonable. It's not really a sit down place but there is a small counter with stools and there are tables outside. Highly recommend !

Luckily, we found The Kebab Zone.The interior was well organized, and staff were very friendly. We took our time deciding what to order...as, the menu had a wide variety of options. It was clear they value their customers and prioritize customer preferences. While our order (gyro) was being prepared, the delicious aroma reached us and made us even hungrier(Really,the aroma of grilled kebab,love it). The gyro was absolutely delicious,especially the kebab. Flavorful Food & Great Service! Had a great experience at Kebab Zone! I spoke with a gentleman named Mezut, who was incredibly accommodating and made sure our order was just the way we wanted it. We asked about spice and peppers—yes, they have both! The spice gave an extra kick, and the small peppers have a small burst of heat. Very nice. We ordered the chicken over rice, which comes with a fresh salad. The chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, and it paired great with their flavorful house-made tzatziki sauce. The salad was also a standout—fresh, vibrant, and served with a delicious house dressing that brought everything together. The food here is full of flavor and clearly made with care. Will definitely be coming back! Btw... I returned for both beef/lamb and chicken gyro wraps with the yogurt based sauce cacik, and BBQ sauce. I get everything on it. Very delicious. For a lighter lunch, you can go with a salad with your choice of protein. They have a dressing that is fantastic. Note: The salad is not small.

Best shawarma I've ever had! Service was fast and friendly, and everything was made just right. Seating is very limited, so pickup is recommended, but this place is just the best! I was in Albany for a business trip and searched for halal food nearby. I came across Kebab Zone and decided to give it a try—I’m so glad I did! While it’s not a formal sit-down restaurant, they have some seating around the counter, which was perfect for a quick yet satisfying meal. I ordered the Adana kebab, chicken shish kebabs, and gyro, and each dish was perfectly cooked, tender, and packed with amazing flavor. Brother Masood was very welcoming, and Brother Muslim did an incredible job with the food. Anytime I’m in Albany, Kebab Zone will be my go-to spot. I highly recommend it and wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

It's one of those excellent foods in a hole in the wall location, and well worth the wait for the food (small, with 2 people working at the take out, but there was a long line of customers just waiting patiently to either order or get their food.) street parking only (if you can get it.) tons of locals hanging at the front, so you know the food is good!

Ordered 4 Gyros and a wrap for pickup. Got to the car and my son wanted his gyro. There were no Gyros in the bag. We got a wrap and 2 rice bowl looking containers. Went back in and they were Completely unaware of what a Gyro is. I'm not joking. I had to explain what a Gyro is to a Kebob shop!?! Anyway, they were really cool about it while definitely trying to explain that I don't know what a Gyro is... 🤣 So after finally making the order right and clearly wanting to make me into a kabob, the food was great and next time I know what to say when I order a Gyro! Highly recommend anyone looking for a legitimate Greek/Turkish spot to check them out. All though, not knowing what a Gyro is limitsnthis to a 4 star rating. Just Google "gyros" and click images. Only thing there isn't any ample parking spaces and not enough tables to sit and eat that's why I rated 4/5 stars . Otherwise the food is delicious. Especially the hummus--I have not eaten outstanding hummus like kebab zone since I traveled to middle east--Turkey , Israel, Jordan, and southern Egypt. The wrap used for beef lamb is unique--I love when the bread tastes a a bit charred over grill . Also try the kibbeh and falafel coz it's delicious

We ordered falafel wraps, the counter person is really nice and welcoming. The wraps were really good in tastes except the hot sauce. The falafel balls was yummy in tastes, it would have been better if it has some really spice hot sauce with it.

We were searching for a suitable restaurant for lunch near the border between the United States and Canada, and we came across this place on Google. It was located a bit off the main road, and we weren't sure what to expect. The restaurant turned out to be quite small, but its salad, soup, french fries , and kebabs were consistently fresh and delicious. However, the kibbeh and stuffed grape leaves weren’t as fresh.

I tried the chicken gyro on pita bread and it was pretty good. The chicken could be a little more tender, but I liked the flavor and I will definitely get extra sauce next time. The staff was really nice, but the place is a bit too small to dine in for my liking. I will definitely be back to try some other items. UPDATE: I went back the next day and got the sauce on the side and added cucumbers, MUCH BETTER. I tried the curly fries too, they were good, but that was too much food for me lol.

I ordered takeaway a couple days ago, and was really looking forward to the falafel and hummus. The falafel was not the best I've had and the hummus was okay. The best thing was the lentil soup. Food temperature was good and items nicely packed. I was hoping the falafel and hummus would be better based off of the reviews.

Decent food, reasonable prices, and convenient location make the kebab zone a good place to stop by, especially if you are a student nearby. This IS NOT a 4.9 star quality restaurant — since they incentivize reviews i think its skewed. Its a pretty average kebab place so maybe a 4.3 star average would make more sense. They tried to offer me free drinks for reviews, and expect you to do so on the spot which pressures people into higher reviews The wrap I had was good, lived up to the universal standard for kebab places. If i try other things here, I will update the review

Decent at best. Very plain compared to other similar restaurants. Hot sauce seems to be typical franks hot sauce. Very small portions of the white sauce, which is the best sauce IMO. I have had better chicken gyro platters within 20 minutes of this spot. Steak kabobs tasted good but far from tender.

My shawarma wasn't the best..I had too much oil in it..I couldn't eat most of it.😭
