Great tasting food ! Would say out of the tacos I tried the beef > chicken > fish. If I’m ever in the area again I would come back 100%, but maybe come a little early to avoid the lunch rush! :)

Best Mexican food in Truckee This place doesn't look like much on the outside but when you go inside it's a really nice little clean restaurant and the food is amazing I've done the three Taco plate a couple of times now cuz that's like one of my favorites but I tried the steak burrito also and it was to die for. I tried the taco salad it was really good. This is my go-to lunch spot the staff are really nice and friendly too the girls at the front desk are always happy and smiling and super polite.

Hands down the best, incredible, extensive authentic menu. Tacos with those grilled jalapeños, ohhh my so good. Every time without exception I'm in Truckee I go there. Every time.

Food was very good, there was a big line but didn’t have to wait much for the food. The only issue it’s that the tables were kind of dirty BUT it was a Sunday and the place was packed, so I would like to assume they were very busy(?

This small Mexican restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall. The space is cute and clean and the staff is very kind. The food was pretty good. I got a burrito with enchilada sauce, the flavor was good but the temperature was cold. My husband had the tacos and said they were very good. Overall a pretty good experience. Would recommend if you’re craving Mexican food.

Great Michelada.. spicy and flavorful. Veggie tacos were good. Guacamole wasn’t freshly prepared but good flavors. Salsa and verde sauce both were bland. But overall good experience.

My experience here was decent, but there was some room for improvement. To start their soda machine is out of order. You need to have soda available if serving Mexican food cmon. A nice coke goes perfectly with tacos, burritos, nachos. That is like having no syrup available at a pancake house. I know there are those people who are thinking that’s not true’ margarita is better soda no good lol! Yeah well alcohol causes dehydration so eventually I’m gonna want a flavorful non alcoholic beverage that isn’t water. And that beverage happens to be the most consumed soda in the world so it shouldn’t be a problem. I found it quite funny that the worker could not answer a question regarding the food because she never ate there lol that is not a con nor is it her fault, but I have been noticing that more at restaurants these days. Servers, workers have told me on various occasions they never tried the food at the restaurant they work at. The experience was mixed, but had its positives. I ordered the tostada with seasoned pork and cali fries with carnitas. I have to say I was very impressed with the portion of fries they served for that price. Other restaurants should take notes. The tostada was okay, but not really for me. I was being adventurous on my vacation so I thought to give it a try. The fries were very good and I emphasize the word fries, because the other elements did not have much flavor. The carnitas were a bit dry and tasted funky, and the guacamole on it did not have much flavor. It is interesting to me how this is a Mexican restaurant, but the best part of the meal to me was the French fries, not the pork on it or the tostada which are more Mexican dishes. I actually couldn’t even finish the pork because it tasted so weird and on this day I had no lunch, so if I don’t finish it there is definitely something wrong haha. If you do order the Cali fries I highly urge you to get another protein aside from the pork. If you are in the area and in the mood for Mexican food, this place is a decent option despite a few setbacks. The chips are good, the dips don’t have much flavor but I do like the quick service. It just seems like I ordered the wrong thing but good job on those fries and keep serving up that portion. That burrito in the picture wasn’t mine, but it is huge and my friend loved it!

I can’t order online. None of the DoorDash links let me choose pickup. It worked once but not at all since. When I’ve reported this during a walk-in order, they’ve been very dismissive. I’ve given up trying to figure out the system and I’m not going to come in and wait when they insist everything’s working. But not before I leave this review, since their website has no contact capability.

The most sour meat in Tahoe. Absolute worst. Every time my husband buys from here I Do not eat it. I swear as a sever do not waste your money. I refuse to eat this slop.
