The enchiladas are delicious! Well served and very friendly service. Highly recommended for a Mexican snack.
This place is excellent. I came from Mexico City after eating at Toño's house, and I can completely assure you that the Mexican antojitos far surpass Toño's. My favorite place to eat since I discovered this place with my parents when I was still a kid. My favorites: order the chicken flautas (soft), the egg sopes, the brain quesadillas, the pozole, and the pata and tinga tostadas 💕💕😃👍👌👌🥴🤤🤤
It's a must-stop for dinner in Zimapán. Conveniently located on the roadside, with ample parking, it's a simple, family-run place, very spacious, and the service is very friendly. They have freshly handmade corn tacos and gorditas, and the classics include cornhead, suadero, enchilada, and steak, enchilada steak, and brains, all fresh and local.
It's a good place to eat typical Mexican food. Nothing disappointed me. The tables and kitchen are very clean, and it's also spacious. The flavor is excellent, and the brain quesadillas are the best. There's no parking, and the street is steep, so you have to be careful when parking. The prices are very affordable. The service is very good and prompt. I will definitely return frequently.
Excellent service, prices are a bit high but the flavor and size of the dishes more than make up for it. They've improved their service a lot; without a doubt, the best place in Tula for Mexican snacks 😋
It's moderately popular, as is everything else sold there.
The food was delicious and flavorful, the wait time was minimal, but the customer service from the waiters was terrible; they were quite arrogant, and some of the waitresses practically threw plates at customers.
The truth is, the flavor and seasoning are some of the best I've had in Tula. The preparation area is open to view, so you can be sure they work very hygienically. My only recommendation is to fumigate or use some other remedy, as there are a lot of mosquitoes at night.
The service is very slow, even though they have only one other table, and the food is good, but the prices are excessive for what you get. That said, it's a clean and pleasant place.
The place is small but comfortable, clean, and organized. The food and drinks aren't exactly cheap for the quality, though they're not the most expensive either. If you're looking for a couple of beers or micheladas, there are better options nearby.
If you go for takeout, check carefully that they're preparing everything you order, as they often make mistakes and either miss a piece or serve something else you didn't order, so keep an eye on that. Otherwise, the service is good and the seasoning is delicious, well worth trying. They're not the best in the world, but they're not bad.
Although the place is comfortable, it is still a small restaurant, said with all due respect, however the prices are a little high as if you were in a real restaurant, the food in general is average without expecting great things, when the bill arrives with the food, drinks and dessert you will realize that the amount is very similar to other places with much better service such as La Casa de Toño just to mention some or the Madero or Colonial restaurants that are very close.
The place is well-decorated, but what you definitely go for is the food, which although appetizing, is extremely greasy (the person who makes it doesn't know and it's poorly made) and expensive (a mess that even with several absorbent towels didn't stop a large amount of fat from coming out, which diminishes the flavor and the sensation of being left with grease in your mouth and hands), I ended up with a stomach ache :(
My experience wasn't good; the water was tasteless, the salsa on the snacks seemed watered down (bland and very runny), the food was expensive, and I even saw a cockroach or two.
They charge a fee for non-Visa card payments, and the food is often stale. I bought offal, and the quality was terrible. The next day, my family and I had stomach problems.
Far too expensive; for less you can have a better dinner in a much nicer place. P.S. Their prices are similar to a 5-star restaurant, and it obviously isn't one.
The worst service. I've eaten there twice, and the bland taste doesn't make up for how rude they can be to customers. On one occasion, they made a mistake with the order and didn't want to change it for any reason, and they charged extra for it because it was ordered again after correcting it. On another occasion, we made a reservation 40 minutes before arriving, and when we got there, the person was very rude. Sometimes people only eat at a certain place because it's on their way home from work and it's convenient. But personally, I think there are many other diners that deserve a chance and support. Besides, this place is said to be extremely rude to its staff.
