Excelentes bebidas y tacos mar y tierra! Precio acorde a calidad
A must see in Tulum. - best tacos ever eaten so far (even including vegan options with local specialities such as local mushrooms, insects) - incredible drinks (specially margaritas) - impeccable service, - lovely decorations and atmosphere.
Absolutely brilliant! From the moment we arrived there was a great live Mexican band playing which added to the atmosphere (an already traditional Mexican feel of the place), our waiter was so friendly and kind, and the food was amazing. We had the prawn taco, prawn burrito, fish taco and steak burrito. The complimentary mezcal shots at the end with fried crickets (!) was a lovely touch to the end of a great dinner. Wish I had found this place sooner as would’ve come again!
Great food experience! We had a lot of different mexican dishes, everything was great! Service was excellent and the atmosphere really nice! Best food we tried in Tulum!
I had an amazing arrachera quesadilla with corn tortilla. The beef was soft and tender, and the cheese was flavourful. The toppings they offer you are red and green spicy salsas and pickled onions. My partner had the red pozole alongside tortilla chips, which he loved so much that he wanted to try and remake at home. The pork was tender, and the corn was sweet. Price was average. The total after service charge was $403 mxn. I would definitely recommend you stop by for a meal.
We stayed in Tulum for a 6 days and we tried local food whenever it was possible. I can honestly say the taco we eat here was the best in the city. The place has also nice with local vibe, good coffee and pleasant service.
My favourite restaurant in Tulum - I had the fish burrito and haven't stopped thinking about it. I'll be returning at least once more before I leave as it was just so delicious! The tortilla was homemade and so fresh. We were offered a fried cricket and a shot of mezcal on the house which was a fun experience. Their mezcalitas were also incredible - particularly the passionfruit (maracuya) and lemon ginger ones.
Tacos are deliciously marinated with fresh handmade tortillas. Very nice ambiance for a bite at any time. Bar selection looked pretty great too!
Beautiful restaurnt and bar with quality food and really good Mezcal selection. We had exceptional service from Cayetano, super helpful and very patient with us trying to do The pin for the location is incorrect. If walking from the centre toward the beach direction, carry on - it’s on the end of the row of restaurants. Not to be missed!
Most amazing fish tacos!!! Agree. We had the fish tacos, some mezcal, the chilequiles and some sides. Also top 2 of our favourite food places in Tulum (and we went to all the over hyped gitano/bagatelle /ilios etc). Amazing flavours, great staff, but after 3-4 days in Tulum looking for good Mexican food we had to have dinner here twice. They are amazing.
Outstanding food and service!! The steak taco was my favorite, but the tempura shrimp and al pastor tacos were also excellent. The Huarache Especial was also very good, and the sauces and pickled onions were a great complement. We added a side order of avocado and it was perfectly ripe and added a great textural contrast to the dishes. We ended with the fried plantain; it was served with sour cream and sweetened condensed milk and was very tasty!! Do be alert when you get the bill: we had a 20% tip (propina) automatically added even though the bottom of the check says "tip not included". Our server did ask if the included service was OK before running our credit card. Not sure if he would ask if paying cash though. The atmosphere is very nice, with great music. Check out the restroom!
Buen sazón, excelente en servicio
Falta ambiente.
Comida muy buena. Muy cuidadosos con la comida sin gluten. Acto para celiacos/gluten free
Beautiful environment, delicious Quesadillas and I appreciate the plant based offerings. Sometimes they are out of the delicious tortillas- I wish there was a way to call them and find out when they are back. The burritos are good too!
Malinche Pueblo is a restaurant with very esthetic interior, on a relatively busy street in Tulum. Service is friendly, and you can (theoretically) get a large variety from grilled dishes, tacos, burritos and local dishes like Pozole. We were here two times in the last days, and sadly never were able to order what we actually wanted. Dishes were always sold out, which made us order something else after all. The food tastes good! Especially the burritos are quite nice! I think prices are quite high though, and the waiters expect quite some tip, and even calculate it for you already, which puts you under quite some pressure. Overall, given the fact that the food we wanted was twice not available, the prices, and the fact that it is expected to give quite some tip, I cannot give more than 3 stars. As I said, food is good, but the overall experience just doesn’t fit in my opinion.
Overpriced (but hey, it is on the strip) and they "accidentally" overcharged us on our bill. The food was tasty was chicken tasted bland and generic - like weird cheap texture - in the enchiladas. Service and vibe were great though. NB they add tip to bills so make sure to ask what the cost is before tip
Considerado que es un lugar hecho para turistas, la comida no es para nada buena, el pulpo estaba quemado al igual que las verduras, para lo que es me parece bastante alto
To start with something good: the waiter was nice and it looks nice. Then the bad things: Went here yesterday and been very sick today from the tacos. I have been in Mexico for 2 months and never got sick but got sick from this place. Furthermore once they bring you the bill they ask where you from to distract or act nice. After calculating the bill there was a 18% difference in the bill without telling you. So then you end up tipping double since it seems like there is no tip. Such thiefs. The waiter even came to me to tell thats how it works and after a small discussion he end up giving it back and i decided on the tip. Be warned!
