The best !! Been here 3 years ago and I loved it so much that I went back (it changed location but the food remains incredible)! Would advice to take the grilled octopus taco with cheese crust which is gourmet, the marlin taco and the ceviche 🤤😋 A mezcalita or 2 is a must, they are sooo good - would 100% recommend !

Amazing Seafood & Chill Vibe at Sabor de Mar! We had a fantastic meal at Sabor de Mar in Tulum! The seafood is incredibly fresh, and the seafood towers are outstanding—loaded with flavor and beautifully presented. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and quick. The restaurant has a nice, relaxed open-air atmosphere, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy a good meal. It’s also very kid-friendly, which made it even better for our family. Located just a street or two off the main strip, it’s a perfect place to escape the crowds while still being close to everything. Highly recommend! We’d eat here all the time if we could!

Great place to eat. All of our sea food dishes were delicious. Great variety of homemade sauces which were amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful giving a welcome warm fish broth drink. Dining area and toilets were clean. I would recommend coming here to eat.

This restaurant was recommended to us from our food tour guide, and it was everything she said and more! Bruno took care of us and was very nice, attentive, and funny. The ceviche was some of the best I’ve ever had and the marlin tacos were amazing! Truly the perfect spot for seafood in Tulum. We will definitely be back!

Good food and great vibe! Their homemade sauces are bomb especially the mango and chipotle sauces. The green aguachile dish is excellent - a must order. You can get it mild, medium or spicy. We opted for medium and it definitely packed a punch. I also liked the coconut shrimp. It’s an appetizer but the portion is huge and the sweet sauce they serve it with is addictive. The cheese crust shrimp tacos are awesome - that cheese crust really makes it. I tried marlin for the first time here and I wasn’t a fan but might just be my preference.

The deep fried shrimp tacos were incredible the first time we had them, unique and packed with flavour. This was a 10/10. We liked them so much we went back a second time, but unfortunately they were overcooked. The shrimp burrito was okay. Skip the burrito and get the tacos, but make sure to tell them to cook it properly so the taco shells aren't like rocks and you will not be disappointed.

Truly disappointing dinner experience here. The service was weird. It was friendly at first, but our waitress seemed a little distracted. I asked her a question about a dish I wanted to order, the tostada mixta, to make sure it didn’t have mayonnaise, which she seemed surprised to be asked but assured me it did not have mayonnaise. When my food was delivered by a different server, I was disappointed to see mayonnaise on the tostada. I mentioned that I’d specifically asked the other waitress about it and was told it was not part of the dish, so he took it back and brought me a new one a few minutes later without mayo. When I put my fork in to mix it up, I noticed that it seemed to be all tuna. I asked if there was some confusion because I’d ordered a tostada that was supposed to have fish, shrimp, and octopus but not tuna. The server took it back, and our original waitress came over to tell me that I had ordered the tuna tostada. I was 100% certain that I hadn’t ordered that because I don’t care for tuna, and I told her she must have been mistaken. She was dismissive, and no one offered an apology. The tostada was okay but by no means excellent, and the bad service made the whole situation very frustrating. To top it off, when the bill came, I was charged for the tuna tostada, which was more expensive than the one I’d ordered. When I mentioned this to the waiter who brought the check, he said the prices were basically the same and just dismissed it without offering to change it. At that point, we were frustrated and just wanted to leave, and it wasn’t worth arguing over a difference of 15 pesos, so we let it go, but it was an aggravating ending to a bad overall experience. To be fair, the fries were good, and the sparking jamaica was delicious, but I definitely would not go back there.
