I saw this store just opened up and it’s my first time coming here and it was delicious. I got Carne en su jugo and my boyfriend got carnitas tacos and it was very filling. The staff was nice and the place was neat and clean. Would visit again. Plus they gave me a free pen!

Delicious carnitas! The service was warm and friendly. The plates are very filling. Try the chicharrones. You won't be disappointed!

The owner is exceptionally personable and welcoming. The carnitas de Michoacán stand out for being flavorful without the excess grease often found at comparable establishments. The business is very clean, and the meat is consistently tender and juicy. 10/10 — highly recommend!

The carnitas is delicious! We had carnitas nachos and a salad with shrimp which was beautifully fresh! The restaurant is clean and comfortable and the service was excellent. Thank you, Diane! We will definitely be back. 👍🏼👏🏼

We've been looking high and low for a "good" Mexican restaurant in Turlock. We finally found it. Very satisfied with price, portion and especially taste. Absolutely delicious carnitas 😋

What a great place to get Authentic carnitas I love carnitas and the cueritos/pork skins simmered in pork fat to perfection They let me try a free sample taco of the buche Something im not used to eating and it was good i say good because Im still acquiring the taste The carnitas was perfect also cueritos perfect The i order the pound of carnitas and it comes with hand made tortillas 6-7 forgot exactly For under $20 dollars Its a Authentic carnitas experience Will be visiting again.....and again thank you for the great service.

We just recently heard of this new restaurant. We had a to-go order of Carnitas, Buche, and Cueritos. We received tortillas, hot sauce, limes, jalapeños, and pickled red onion with our order. Everything tasted amazing. We picked up our order at closing time and it still tasted fresh. The customer service was amazing. They were super attentive and explained how everything was freshly made daily. Super friendly and respectful personnel. Over all a great experience. Definitely looking forward to having a meal at the restaurant.

DOR: 7724. Based on the name of the restaurant, I had to come in with an objective unbais mind/taste buds. I am happy to report this place is leggit for traditional Michoacan style carnitas! Being that im from Michoacan, I can give an honest review! Had 3 plates and all plates were delicious! The traditional carnitas taco or aka The tacos purepecha! 9 outta 10! The salsa verde and lime was great, but the escabeche onion took the taco over the top! I need to come back and try the tacos with pico de gallo! Also had the flautas! 9 outta 10. The flautas came with green sauce and queso fresco WOW, mouth watering & and finally, had the sopitos as an appetizer. The sope maza was perfect. Not too heavy and portioned right with the carnitas! 3 plates 2 drinks $50. So the price is reasonable for the portions and great for the delicious carnitas 🐷! Atmosphere and Service was 10 outta 10. The young lady that waited on us was super on it! Where the restaurant can improve would be in their rice and beans. Refried beans 7 outta 10 and the rice was a fail sadly! However. I can't wait to return. No issues giving it my seal of approval #gorditoapproved #fatboyapproved

Carnitas, cueritos, and yellow hand made tortillas are really good, chicharron needs a little more TLC. Overall considering the price it was a good experience and I recommend it.

I ordered the chicharrones seeing as they got some great reviews on it, but when I received my order they were cold to the touch. I ordered them to go, while the flavor was ok, they were cold and I was already driving home by the time I realized. And no they didn’t cool down on my way home, I live 5 minutes away, they were cold as if they’d been left out all day, not at all fresh. I’ll be trying somewhere else next time. However the guacamole was good so I ate that at home with chips, and the horchata was good as well. I can’t speak to the rest of their food but hopefully it’s not cold?

Been here a few times, never had an issue. Until today when the service was bad, I even wiped down the table and asked for the menu myself. It was busy so I figure ok no big deal I'll help but the server kid was bad he didn't even get my refill so bad service bring back the girls that use to be there cause they were great always checking on their tables.

The food was ok it lacked the wow factor. The service was poor they refused to remove ice from my senior dad's drink, no refills, waitress needs to work on her attitude
