Really nice staff! Ladies at the cash register and men on the grill are super friendly. They let you know if it’s going to be a wait and let you sit down at your table while they make your food. The only recommendation I have is maybe having the option of trays while you prepare your food so there isn’t as much food falling out from the bowls onto the floor or sauce spilling. I know it’s kind of inevitable with a cool food preparation like Mongolian BBQ but it can get pretty slippery in the customer’s prep area. Other than that, love this place! Thank you for the great service every-time.

I would give this place 5 stars but last experience almost makes me want to not go back. Ive been to this spot several times and this was unacceptable. The cook who made my food was extremely rude. After handing him my bowl which I agree is bigger than most, he immediately threw half in the trash stating I'm not cooking that, while cooking he purposely knocked food on the floor even grabbing noodles and throwing them on the floor.80 percent of my dish was ruined. I was never asked for extra sauce, or garlic powder. I emailed the chain and have not gotten any response to the incident. Updated. I decided to return and found out that person was fired turns out I was not the only one with this experience from the same employee. . Management was very Apologetic and happy to see a returning costumer. It's now my favorite spot again. Five stars and more if I could. Great job staying clean during these Corona times.

9 out of 10!!! I love this place with my heart and soul. The food is always really really good and the guys on the grill are so funny and friendly. They always try to have a small conversation and keep the good vibes going while your waiting for your food to be cooked. I rate it 9 out of 10 because sometimes the stations can be messy and some of your favorite toppings will be not stocked. And I don't blame Staff for the messes but it's almost like that everytime my friends and i go. out of the two what is more an "issue" (not really an issue) is when they are out of toppings .. that plus the mess makes you think how often they check and maintain the stations... Another reason why I say 9 out of 10 is because sometimes the girls who seat you can come off as rude or have an attitude when they try to seat/serve customers. I don't know them specifically or do I have a problem with anyone so I don't take it personally but I feel like customers would feel more welcomed without the attitudes 😅 I still give this place a 5 star review because the overall experiences I've had here are always really nice and friendly and it's pretty cheap eats for all you can eat 😁👍

Love it! You decide what goes in the bowl and you select flavors for seasoning and how hot or mild or bland as you want. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. We opted for a healthier route by not using any oil and they were very accommodating. Space is upscale casual. Definitely a nice addition to Turlock's restaurant scene. Vegan/Vegetarian friendly.

This place feeds my food soul. They are very attentive to my needs and the place is clean and I highly recommend. The only thing bad I can say is how are you guys goes to build a location in Sonora California before you made it to Fresno or my home town Madera. :( other than that I will drive the hour to Turlock to eat here :)

This GK location has always been consistently good. Vegetables are fresh and the wait is never long. I recommend mixing the BBQ, House, and Garlic sauces together, the more sauce the better. If you're feeling fancy try adding some shrimp to your bowl, good stuff!

Then we went through the self serve line to pick our raw meat, veggies, noodles & sauces. The food is cooked on a circular flat griddle and constantly turned and cooked until perfectly done. JoJo cooked our food. He was very pleasant to talk with while he cooked the food. The lunch bowl was very filling. And for $14.95 came with soup, potstickers & rice. The staff was very friendly. Towards the end of our meal another staff member came and checked on us. Her name was Marissa. She was very friendly. You could look into the kitchen from where we were sitting and watch the staff prepare the meat & vegetables for the bar area. They were very efficient & looked like they all enjoyed their jobs. The restaurant is spotless as well as the women's bathroom. I gave this place 5 out of 5 stars for service, food, cleanliness & friendliness of staff.

The food is tasty and is a good value. When you walk in, you're greeted by a staff member and asked if you'll be eating in the restaurant, or taking it to go. Then, you get in line and grab a bowl and start filling it with your desired ingredients (including the noodles of course). Meats include beef, chicken and turkey. There's a good variety of veggies to choose from, including my favorites... water chestnuts, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, etc. There's a wide selection of flavored cooking oils to make you bbq bowl extra tasty. Look at the suggestion board above your head for great hints on how to make your bowl extra delicious using different combinations of the flavored oils! Then, you hand your bowl to the chef to start the cooking process. You watch as it's cooked. You'll be asked if you want some garlic powder sprinkled on during cooking for extra flavor. - Your completed bbq bowl includes a little side of steamed rice and some fried won tons. I highly recommend ordering the egg rolls... the are crispy and delicious! - the only minor thing that I noticed is that the carpeting is a little worn and torn. But, the food tastes so good, I can overlook the old carpeting... no problem! - Oh, and I love how they're open until midnight! So many restaurants here in Turlock close early. It's nice to have somewhere to go late night when you get a hankering for some great tasting food!

Good is pretty good, service is okay depending on the day and staff. Last time they completely got my order wrong and it cost me another 30 minute drive to get correct order and they didn't really care which was a bummer. Dining in sometimes is hard if it's full, sometimes messy. Overall food is worth the price. I typically visit at least once a month. It's a good option to rotate into your routine.

The employees here are always super nice and their food always tastes fresh. I like that they interact with you and make recommendations especially when it’s your first time. You can add as many veggies or whatever ingredients to your bowl, and you can create it to your liking. I wish they would offer white rice to go as well. Overall a good value for what you get, and very tasty.

My last visit a year ago was not great tbh but WOW! What a great turnaround! I had the best bowl I’ve ever had from any of their locations! The cooks knew exactly what they were doing & took care of all the customers the same! Adding extra sauce to make sure the food cooked all the way and the right way. Look at how deep brown the noodles are! That’s how you know the sauce is completely cooked into the food. Our waitress was very friendly and kind, she took good care of us. Tbh the bathrooms were ROUGH lol there was a used tampon applicator in the women’s when I went it and my boyfriend said the light in the men’s didn’t work and the urnial had been completely removed from the wall, and there was a ton of gang graffiti in there as well lol. Those things are minor though, what’s important was how amazing the food was and the kindness we received from the staff. Thank you guys so much, you have no idea what a treat it is for me getting to eat GK Mongolian! Definitely look forward to returning to this location again!

Just dont order online. I paid $15 for this. Definitely not worth the money unless you’re dining in.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years now with my family , friends and on date night .but I have never been made to feel this way in as many years that I have come wa ls very disappointed and mad to feel uncomfortable. I felt unwelcome on date night since first stepping in .we had an engagement but where late to it because of the service of one worker .this restaurant in Turlock was one of my favorite but now it has moved to my less desirable restaurants.date night was ruined

Some of the bowls were dirty at start. The cooked bowls turned out pretty good. I ordered wontons and they tasted stale and had to wait extra 10 minutes for the sweet n sour sauce. We paid $44 for 2 and I believe it was pricey for what we got.

This place is really hit and miss. Some days they have the ingredients fully stocked and things are cleaned up. Other times, like the other day when we went, ingredients were out they didn't refill when asked, the counter was a mess and for me the biggest issue the customer in front of me asked for Sriracha AND chili paste, cool you do you dude, but they didn't clean off the grill before cooking mine and as soon as I got my bowl I could smell the spice. I like spice but I couldn't even eat my food it was so damn spicy. I was incredibly disappointed. I've never left hungry until that night. Cleaning the grill after a bowl like that should be a restaurant policy.

Went in for lunch. Don't expect any lunch specials. $18 for 1 bowl, $3 for a tea and for lunch they charge $2 for the chips with sweet and sour, which they don't charge at dinner. $24 for 1 person is crazy. I won't do that again.

I always order my food to go and never have a problem with the food I order but this time was different. I checked the bag in the car to make sure everything was there. My rice was missing and to make matters worst when I went back inside the lady kept insisting that it was already in the bag. So I had to go back to the car bring her the bag so she could see that obviously she FORGOT to add my rice. Worst customer service
