I keep coming back here because everything is always super fresh and so incredibly flavorful!
La Costeñita has the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in the East Coast. Indiscutible.
Food was excellent and really well priced. I got the Beef Burrito and saw it made in front of me. I give it 4 stars because they don't deliver.
I came across this place today and WOW !! What a find! Finally, real authentic Mexican food that tastes amazing. The flavors were bold, fresh, and delicious. The staff was clearly busy, but they still carried themselves with kindness and care, which says a lot. You can tell this place is run with heart. I’ll definitely be back !! I highly recommend if you’re looking for the real deal!
Different and delicious. Empanadas made from corn with delicious pork filling served with a slightly spicy sauce on the side with a fresh salad. Table and chairs are colorful and I enjoyed the old time Mexican music playing overhead. Only negative is it was warm inside and outside. But I'll come back to try other specialties here.
The vegetarian black bean burrito is superb. The hot and spicy salsa is crazy hot. Even their regular salsa has a nice enough flavor to it with a little bit of heat. The sope is okay at least a vegetarian version and I thought the bread was way too thick.
This place has been in my neighborhood for a few years now and I kept meaning to get there. So glad I finally did. My lunch buddy had chicken enchiladas, which I tasted. The sauce is awesome. Great portions too. I had a chicken burrito. It was also delicious and so fresh. Even though everything is mixed together, I could taste separate flavors and the nice blend. It was huge but I took my time and ate it all. It was that good. The bonus side salad was also great.
The food was good. authentic Mexican. Employees were kind
the service was pretty good. you have to order at the counter and wait to be called to go get it and return to your table. there are 3 tables for inside and one table outside under the awning. there are alot of decorations inside nice very colorful. one restroom inside restaurant
Im sorry I have to leave a review like this but the only way for me to describe the food here is just ordinary. I can only base it on a couple of times I ordered lunch to go, the beef and chicken square little pieces in the tacos were dry, the same dry chicken was used in the chicken enchiladas. Chips were thick and not fresh, I give the guacamole 4 stars. This all gets worse when one gets hit with the bill. I hope they were just having a bad day.
I came by because of the great reviews. I gotta say, the service was terrible. The lady handling the front and taking orders was inhospitable and not helpful at all. I asked for an order of crispy tacos, which were just taquitos (4 in an order). I asked to do 2 chicken and 2 sausage and potatoes, she said no lol. All good, just got chicken and then she walked away. I stood there for a while expecting to pay, but after 5 minutes standing there awkwardly, she said the food will take time. Again, at this point, just hoping the food is good. I waited outside for another 10 minutes, came back in and paid almost 17 bucks for 4 taquitos and a jarritos drink. Whoa, these better be amazing. There are no prices for the food aren’t listed on the board, nor was I given an itemized copy so not sure what was so expensive. Anyway, the food was fine, the portion was small, but it was tasty enough. I wouldn’t go back though. I think it’s worth driving further out to find authentic Mexican food. Again, friendly service goes a long way. Also, totally not a language barrier thing, I spoke Spanish to her 😅
It's so sad to have this terrible service. I know a lot of Latino people who are very friendly, but these people who serve there aren't (it's disappointing). The times I've ordered food, they take my order with the desire to not do it. Today was the last straw. I ordered picaditas with chorizo, but they gave me chicken instead. I called to complain and the response was, "They didn't have beef." What? "I asked for chorizo," I said. "What they told me was, 'I don't know what to do, it'll be next time.' I won't go there again. If you want to try this restaurant, I'll tell you something: don't!"
