Delicious tacos, good sized portions, unbeatable price, nice restaurant eating area, aaand you can get a glass of wine from the bar attached to the bowling alley and drink it in the Mexican restaurant along with your meal. Excellent!! Great service too. Very friendly lady at the till.
This restaurant was very good. Definitely recommend the asada fries but everything is super delicious. You have the opportunity to dine-in, call and pick it up, or take out. Please come and show this restaurant some love.
Very tasty Mexican food. It has a little kick to it, but not too much for a gringo. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Food was amazing. The consume was lovely. The lady on the counter was very sweet and even gave us tastes of the horchata. Its was delicious. A small mismatch in orders happened but the lady made sure we got the correct order free of charge. I've never met anyone more deserving for a Tip even though the tipping system doesn't make sense in the US. Thank you kind lady. P.S. Batman has eaten food here lol
The al pastor street taco's were great for me. And my wife liked her carne asada taco's. The staff was very friendly and took our order quickly. The salsa bar only has red or green sauce. It is located in the bowling alley in twenty nine palms. Grab so so 2
This place was great! The service was amazing-friendly and helpful. We sampled a variety of things from the menu. Street tacos, elote, and, tamales were all outstanding. It was a perfect place for these 2 out-of-towners to enjoy some flavorful, fresh and fun food and at an affordable price.
This place is amazing! Service is great! Food options are really good! Best Mexican stop out here! My favorite thing to share is the Asada Fries and Nachos Locos. Single tacos I would say David Tran style tacos those their specials no one ever makes it anywhere else! Fish tacos grilled are a must! Elotes remind me of home:) and cheapest place in town💗
Visiting JT and really craved some tacos and decided to give this place a try. Tried 5 different tacos and 2 really stood out: - beer-battered fish taco was the best I’ve ever had (get it with the baja sauce)! - cabeza was deliciousss, so tender and juicy Overall everything was very fresh and served hot. The front staff (the owner?) was so friendly too :)
Ok first of all, there is a bowling alley hidden in here? 🎳 that’s incredible. Secondly, delicious and authentic Mexican food that’s super fast. The fish tacos were incredible and loaded up. The carnitas were really good but don’t forget to grab salsa to go. (Our bad) the esquites were good, unfortunately it was not cut straight off the cob and tasted like frozen corn. The seasoning was really good though. Rice and beans were awesome, as was the tamale 🫔 I’d come back for sure!
When I was looking for somewhere to eat when visiting Joshua Tree National Park, this seemed like the obvious choice according to Yelp. They only have two picnic tables and we managed to get one. Most people don't wear masks in this town, so we didn't really want to eat inside. What we ordered: - Lengua, Buche, Beer Battered Fish Tacos - Cali Burrito - Adrian's Quesadilla - Esquite - Strawberry Agua Fresca My favorite things were the quesadilla and the tacos. The al pastor was definitely my favorite meat. The tacos were all really solid. I liked the fish one the best. The portion sizes are huge, especially the quesadilla and burrito. This was way too much food for us. The burrito was too much rice for me and not much meat. The Esquite was pretty bad. It was very watery with a ton of mayo. The Agua Fresca tasted like cough syrup to me. If you need food when visiting Joshua Tree National Park, come here for some tacos and quesadillas.
This is a local‘s favorite for authentic Mexican tacos. It’s located in the bowling alley downtown. It’s a popular place so expect a line when ordering. I like the chipotle chicken and carnitas. You need to take cilantro, onions, limes, and hot sauce with you to complete the tacos. It’s a take-out menu, or they have limited seating inside and out. They don’t have a website at this time. The service is fast. The food is delicious. Stop by and give it a try.
A small ish nice near the US Post Office on Gorgiono street. Decent food but only outdoor seating in the COVID-19 environment. Sleepy streets but on and noon, it was 113°F so few cars on the road. A street sweeper came by, waved to the driver who waved back from his cooler air conditioned cab compartment. One other customer stopped by to pick up a take out order. Would go again. If you like spicy food it wood be suitable.
After eating here several times you realize that everything on the menu tastes exactly like everything else on the menu. Except for the Pollo fries I ordered yesterday, they really didn't have any flavor at all, they were just a flavorless spicy hot. Disappointed, wont go back.
First time visiting. Went on a Monday afternoon around 1pm. I ordered the carnitas nachos. Carnitas meat suppose to be juicy but theirs was very dry and my nachos tasted like the toppings were just dumped on it straight from the refrigerator. Also the flies! FLIES everywhere in the indoor seating area. I will not return. I will not recommend especially if dining indoors. I give 1 star because the customer service was good but this place by itself is zero stars.
