I happened upon the SS225 road to Ferriere, heading towards Genoa, due to traffic on the A12 motorway. What a pleasant drive through the eastern Ligurian hinterland! Discovering this place was even more pleasant: attracted by the large number of lunchtime patrons, I decided to stop in. A pleasant place, fast and friendly staff, and a reasonably priced set menu with plenty of choice. If you're passing through, I recommend stopping in too!

London or Irish atmosphere 😇 the staff is friendly and helpful with everything. the best music.... you will find a nice Argentine girl. the place is very large with televisions but above all the decor is really beautiful. L'antico albergo Moderno , che risale alla fine dell'Ottocento , è situato nel centro di Gattorna nella Val Fontanabuona , entroterra del levante di Genova ; è dotato anche del frequentatissimo ristorante-pizzeria-pub-bar-caffetteria 'Alzati Lazzaro' ; il locale , ampio e luminoso è stato fortemente ristrutturato nel 2000 , ha tavoli anche all'aperto , è dotato di parcheggio privato ed ha un ottima cucina con un'ampia scelta ; il personale è giovane e gentile ed è buono il rapporto qualità - prezzo ; nelle vicinanze è presente un piccolo parco giochi .

Ottima sosta in direzione mare, ideale per un a pausa durante il giro in moto. Servizi molto attento, porzioni abbondanti. Una piacevole sorpresa

Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo ci siamo fermati a pranzo in occasione della sagra del fungo e ballotta .

Luogo carino con la veranda fuori e i posti in giardino e anche belli i tavoli dal pub. Consiglio di portarsi una felpetta perché c'è fresco a gattorna comunque purtroppo ho aspettato quasi un ora per mangiare cosa che non succede mai, cibo fantastico, consiglio di provare hamburger

I recently visited this trattoria and had a very positive experience overall. The food really impressed me: tasty, well-prepared dishes, authentic flavors, and generous portions. For this reason, I'm giving it 5 stars without a doubt. The atmosphere is welcoming, refined, and pleasant, perfect for a lunch/dinner, whether with friends or a relaxing meal: 4 stars are well-deserved. The only thing that left me a little perplexed was the service. The staff was friendly, but unfortunately the timing wasn't ideal: we received dessert at the last minute, and overall the organization could have been better. Nothing too serious, but it could be improved. Overall, I would definitely recommend this trattoria, especially for the quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere. With a few more tweaks to the service, it could become truly excellent.
