Roasted chicken is incredible. But seems like not available on Sundays. I went on 2 separate Sundays after church between 1:30pm and 3:30pm and was told they don't have anymore until Monday. I was a little confused because they weren't closing for another 6 hours.

We ordered the biggest family dinner of chicken tenders that was available. My family loves the tenders. We haven't been to Golden Chic for a bit so I'm thinking it will be enough because the tenders are ( were ) a good size . Woah , was I wrong ! I have not ever seen tenders that small in my life. We would have been better off ordering hamburgers ! I am really hoping it was just a one time thing and the tenders will be as hefty as they once were 🤞Don't get me wrong, we love Golden Chick ! The food is good regardless . I'm just wary of trying again for that price.

It was my parents' treat! Thank you! I ordered a chicken breast meal with okra as my side. The meal was alright. Nothing special. Church's biscuits are a lot tastier. Side note: Please, as restaurant workers, don't rub your eyes, play with your ears or touch your face. It's unsanitary.

The gravy was very watered down, the coleslaw has an odd taste too it, the okra was decent and the rolls were amazing. The chicken tenders were on the small side. $65 for the 20 piece with 3 sides and extra gravy wasn't worth it. The drive thru server was great tho. Very polite and reading the order back was great.

Had fried chicken for lunch today, didn't enjoy it. To much breading and seemed to have been under warmer to long because the crust was hard. First time I've had this experience there as its usually very good.

Went through the drive through an ordered a meal of chicken 🐔 strips. Strips were cold tasteless and the gravey was like white water. Drive throughs are not good idea, however it has become a way of doing things. Not a pleasant experience at ALL!

We ordered 3 Funnel cakes and they were disgusting. Hard and un eatable. The okra was hard and old. The bathrooms were disgusting also. Just a bad place to visit.

I hardly ever eat there or drive threw but was cravein a fried fish plate but the fish wasnt warm or as crispy as I tryed it a few years ago I loved the fish from there but today just wasn't the same n it was so cold like it was there for s while 😔

Hey guys thanks for the two bites of my sides! And the less tenders than what I ordered! And missing our other extra rolls! Glad I paid for this! It’s either awful service, or you forget a ton of our food! Get it together in there!!

My wife and I used to enjoy coming to Uvalde for a visit then stop at the Golden Chick for brunch. We were very disappointed with the change of atmosphere. Most of the tables, floors and bathrooms were not clean. The communication between the employees was very unprofessional and distracting. The food was ok but not like it was a few years ago. We did not see any leadership or management to keep the restaurant in order. I'm sticking to drive thru service 😒 or another place to eat. Hope there is a turn around soon. My wife and I would love to return. Thank you.

We used to enjoy picking up chicken to take home for dinner at least once a week. The price goes up every time. They keep getting our order wrong and lately the chicken has not been good at all. Tough, dry and small pieces. Not sure why the container of white gravy keeps getting smaller. I don't think we will be back.
