Burrito Express

Carnitas burrito is a winner every time and the crispy chicken tacos + rice and beans...very good. Chip salsa is the best!

California has so many Mexican restaurants and Vacaville is no exception, but in my humble opinion no place is remotely close to reach the level of Burrito express. For the price, quality and quantity it is a 10/10! It has been nearly 2 1/2 years since I’ve lived in California and I still think this place fondly. I doubt I’ll be returning to California anytime soon but when I do my first stop is burrito express.

Been going here for food for years. Never disappointed. Always friendly staff and food is always good. You will not be disappointed.

Came here with my family for Saturday lunch. The workers are friendly and kind. They make the food fast! We got a seafood soup, steak plate, and camaron a la diabla. The steak was tender. The soup wasn't too big but pretty filling. The camaron a la diabla wasn't spicy, and had a bit of a sweet flavor. Rice and beans are pretty authentic. Tortillas made by hand! Overall good spot for a quick lunch, maybe grab a coffee next door on your way out!

Wife and I had lunch here for the first time on our list of places to try. One regular burrito with carne asada and one super burrito with carnitas. Both were good and probably the best taqueria style burritos we've had so far in Vacaville. Look forward to going again soon.

I used to buy chicken salad and asada salad, which were loaded with salad and meat but lately they are serving less and less of both.

Food could use some more spice; its slightly missing a bit of flavor as well as traditional flavor. Its a pretty nice little resturaunt, and the staff is pretty nice most of the time. I would give it a 3.5 at most, a 3 at least. The prices are a little high but with SOME dishes you do get a large serving of food, other dishes are very small. I think the lack of flavor along with somewhat acceptable portions on certain dishes makes this is an ok place to grab food real quick, but I would not bring the whole family to dine at this establishment. I would recommend everyone try it for themselves.

I asked if they could clean our table and her response was "when they have time" not the correct response. We had the menudo not what we expected, needed flavor. My wife asked if the shrimps were cleaned (deveined) before cooking and the cook said, "They already come prepared" Hence, my wife is cleaning the shrimps before eating the burrito. Also, she asked for chicken breast instead of dark meat for my burrito and was denied that request. Also, they put sour cream when I asked for no sour cream. The cashier was doing everything by the book but the cook had this resistant attitude. Happy wife, happy life. We will not be back buying your $11.00 burritos. Edit: One more star because management reached out promptly in an attempt to remedy the issue. I appreciate that.

Terrible experience, rude young man wirking, have not eaten there in many many years. Got a couple of burritos this week both filled with mainly beans hardly any meat they were all lose and falling apart
