Amazing experience at Bar Trafalgar! The service was outstanding, the staff were attentive and friendly the whole time. The atmosphere is perfect, whether you just want a drink or a full dinner. We came without a reservation and had to wait, but they were completely honest about the waiting time and made sure we were well looked after. Totally worth it, we’ll definitely be back!

I stopped in around 6:30 for some tapas (I know that’s early compared to spanish dining times) I sat sat the bar by myself and had a Gilda, 4 croquetas and an copa of Albariño for €15. Service, Price and the food was great :)

One of my favorite bars in Madrid – stepping inside feels like being transported to a stylish spot in NYC. The cocktails are top-notch, especially the Mediterranean Negroni – a must-try. Perfect for small bites (with gluten-free options available), and the quality is excellent for the price. Great vibe, great drinks, great value!

My go to bar in this area! The vibe is always on, it could get busy so making a reservation can come handy. They have a great variety of drinks which never disappoint, also a lot of different types of Vermouth. The food menu however is just for bites, which sometimes seem a bit expensive for what you get. We usually take a small bite next to it for the taste which is fine.

Not your average tapas bar, it’s closer a chic cocktail bar with a unique atmosphere. Had the best croquet as ever in Madrid! Cocktail also are perfect. Of course quality comes with it’s price.

The atmosphere was fantastic, the food arrived quickly, and every dish was absolutely delicious! They offer a booklet filled with cocktail options, and I highly recommend trying the Lady Chambri. This spot is truly exceptional!

Very nice place! I tried the cocktail named “Lady Chamberí” and it was really nice! The tapas were really tasty and quality. We had “patatas bravas” which were not the typical slicss but very elegantly sliced ones served with a top sauce, and “croquetas” typical in Spain and very delicious aperitifs. “Alcachofas”, artichokes, was very soft, we loved them. And “chistorra/txistorra”, small sausages served with patatas bravas. They also bring extra aperitifs on the house which was super kind :)

Absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere was great, super cozy and inviting. The food was extremely good and well-priced, and the cocktails were amazing—strong and perfectly made. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to! All the bar keepers were super friendly!

A must in Madrid! Amazing! The place is really nice and the service was great, especially the female bartender. She’s amazing!! I tried the vermut de grifo and it was good. The pastrami sandwich was great too. Portions are small though. I suggest making reservations as it gets very crowded.

Everything was delicious and service is very friendly. Keep in mind it’s not cheap though, the tapas aren’t big so you might need 2-3 per person (at least 5 tapas if you’re with 2 people and want to share). Good ones like the tuna are 20-25 euros, torrija was 7 euros. Cocktails 10-15 euros. However, for the quality and service, it’s worth this price.

Cracking little bar! Pretty much spot on for everything - it has a nice buzzy vibe and cool decor, with a horseshoe shaped bar, the drinks are great, well balanced and delicious cocktails - what I like is that they aren't going too crazy with them, just classics with a twist. I loved the peanut old fashioned and the clover club was ordered several times too! They have an above average wine selection, with even a handful of international wines. We had a couple of different fresh whites that were nice enough, balanced with minerality. And the food is nice too! I'd recommend the pork (pluma ibérica), really delicious, and the bravas de Chamberí, pollycooks style potatoes, sliced and fried, as well as the anchoas. The leeks were a tad disappointing but still enjoyable and whilst the beef sandwich was tasty, the bread it was in was of low quality. Fun tapas too - I loved the peanuts and dark chocolate paired with my peanut old fashioned. The service is a little chaotic but eager and friendly too so I'll let them off. I'm looking forward to my next visit - we didn't have time but I'll be back to try the tiramisu cocktail. 🤙

Pensando que era un restaurante en exclusiva allí fuimos. Por mi edad, y ese es el principal tema, queda un poco fuera de juego. Es un local propio, mas pensado para gente joven, con buen ambiente, buena música y un abanico de copas y cócteles muy interesantes. Dicho esto, los platos están pensados en un concepto como el descrito, platos rápidos, sencillos y a unos precios que se adapta a un local informal. Moderno. Eso sí, el trato del personal estupendo. Muy atentos. Pena no ser algo mas joven.

A pesar del contratiempo que tuvimos con la reserva, que nos decían que no la teníamos (pese a tener confirmación) nos buscaron una mesa. La comida está muy buena. Excepto el rape que no nos gustó mucho. La limonada riquísima. (Y si, finalmente nos confirmaron que teníamos reserva)

Está genial en general, la comida muy buena, es un concepto original de comida y cocktails y hay muy buen ambiente (aunque con bastante ruido y en mesas altas). El problema es que la comida la sacan sin ningún orden y cada plato de uno en uno, en nuestro caso fueron croquetas, steak tartar, torreznos y bravas. Todo debería salir al mismo tiempo más o menos, o considerar lo que es entrante (no tiene sentido que las bravas salgan lo último).

El bikini y el montadito de tartar de atun de patata lo mejor. Toda la comida muy buen en general. Vermuts variados y ricos. Adaptado a celiacos (tienen tb cerveza).

Ideal para picotear de raciones y probar muchas cosas, y todo está muy bien pensado para compartir. Muchas opciones , ambiente muy chulo, el zumo de tomate lo preparan ellos y es impresionante. Agradable para ir en grupo. Un poco caro para lo que es eso si.

I went by myself and waited in line for about 45 minutes. When I got inside they put me all the way in the corner where I had no space which was quite disappointing — I asked to change to the bar and luckily they said yes. I ordered the Lady Chamberi which was FANTASTIC and croquetas. Vibes are immaculate great for people watching

Without a reservation it can be tricky to get in here but managed to squeeze in late afternoon for a quick bite (tables were already marked “reserved”). Croquetas looked extremely appetizing with good crunchy coating. They were tasty but only just warm on the inside. Will likely go back to see how they go a second time.

Well, it's definitely tasty and good. Nothing to complain here. The croquettes and the steak in particular were delicious. Also the chocolate mousse was very tasty, the cheesecake could be improved. Service was top notch. Very friendly. But it's just too expensive for what it is. Price value doesn't fit the expectations then.

Mimicking a classic bar with its diner-style bar, comfy booths and lots of spaces with stools, Trafalgar is a trendy and sociable spot on the side streets around Olavide / Cardenal Cisneros. Super discreet from the outside, and although it's big, it can be easy to miss! To start, the food menu is a range of interesting takes on some simple classics. Generally good quality, and some predictable items, but the menu is well designed in that you can have snacks or a full-blown meal if you feel like. Portions are reasonable and most items are easy to share. This was my second visit, and the staples seem to be the anchovies on toast, the "coca" with sardines, tomato and idiazabal cheese, the bravas, the pluma and the langostines. The quality is good, everything is fresh and very tasty. We also tried the leeks, the fresh mushrooms, and the calamari sandwich - the latter two probably being the weaker dishes we tried off the menu. They have a good wine menu and offer a decent selection at good prices. This is the sort of place that merits some bubbles and I'm glad to say they have a strong cava and champagne offering. On the downside, the service was just ok - some confusion and general slowness with ordering and paying created a few delays, but otherwise correct and generally efficient in getting food out of the kitchen. Overall, Trafalgar has a good vibe - comfortable but buzzing. Definitely worth a (return) visit.

Bar Trafalgar: Mucho ruido y... ¿pocas nueces? 🍸⚖️ Puntuación: ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5) El Bar Trafalgar se ha convertido en el epicentro de Chamberí y, aunque el ambiente es inmejorable, la experiencia gastronómica me dejó a medias. Es un sitio con mucha fama donde pagas el "escenario", pero la cocina no siempre mantiene el ritmo del hype. Lo que sí vale la pena: * El Tartar: Muy bien preparado, con buen producto y el aliño en su punto. De lo mejor de la carta. * El Bikini: Un clásico de bar ilustrado bien ejecutado, sabroso y perfecto para compartir. * Las Croquetas: Muy ricas, con buena cremosidad y sabor potente. Cumplen perfectamente. Lo que me dejó frío: * Postres: No están mal, se dejan comer, pero no tienen ese factor "wow" ni la personalidad que esperas de un sitio con tanta firma. Correctos, sin más. * Relación calidad-precio: Pagamos 100 € para dos personas. Aunque los platos mencionados están buenos, el ticket final se siente algo elevado para la propuesta global. Pagas un suplemento importante por estar en el sitio de moda. Veredicto: Un 3/5. El local es precioso y el ambiente es de 10, pero si vas buscando una experiencia culinaria que te sorprenda por el precio que pagas, se queda un poco corto. Ideal para un picoteo rápido y ver el ambiente, pero no para una cena donde la comida sea la protagonista absoluta.

Fuimos a comer entre diario, destaca que no cierran cocina. Preguntamos al camarero por los platos favoritos, y nos contó lo que más sale y lo que a él más le gusta. Pedimos la ensaladilla, montaditos de steak tartar y tartar de atún, brioche de txangurro, y el bikini como primera recomendación suya. A ver, todo bien pero el bikini no me parece un plato a presumir como primera recomendación, lo veo para un desayuno. El ambiente soso. Bien, pero no para convertirlo en un sitio habitual.

Vinimos al Bar Trafalgar a cenar hace un par de semanas y en general nos gustó mucho la experiencia. La comida estaba muy buena y a un precio no tan alto como esperábamos. Recomiendo muchísimo las tostas de anchoa con mantequilla y los torreznos melosos. Un 10. Lo peor fue el servicio, ya que nos sacaban las cosas a mitad. Luego nos trajeron todos los platos menos las cocas rápido y tuvimos que esperar 1 hora para el último plato. Le doy 3 estrellas por el servicio, el cual dejó mucho que desear. Pero la comida en general estaba muy bien.

The food was solid and the cocktails wonderful, but management should work on the seating arrangement. We were seated at a book shelf of records and players. We were in front of wine coolers that wait staff needed access to and had only a few inches clearance for our plates and drinks. I'm open to friends with positive experiences encouraging to bring me back. As of now I would not recommend and I have no plans to go out of my way for this spot again.

Suelo venir seguido a Bar Trafalgar ya que es uno de mis favoritos en Madrid y el servicio en general es bueno pero esta ultima vez fue una auténtica decepción. Servicio pésimo pero por parte de una de las meseras. Llegamos en horas de la tarde y aún no estaba completamente lleno, sin embargo nos situó en una mesa con poco espacio al fondo con un tocadiscos (Que suele pasar pero eventualmente te mueven a otro puesto) Tuvimos que pedirle unas 3 veces antes de que por fin nos moviera otro mesero. La chica con una mala actitud, estaba constantemente apurándonos para sacarnos… solo a nosotros. En fin, entre varios momentos incomodos fue una experiencia que dejó mucho que desear gracias a una sola persona.

Sitio que está de moda en Madrid. No merece la pena, comida mediocre a precios altísimos, lo típico que se está creando en Madrid hoy en día. La primera vez que como un steak tartar que sabe a curry… ahí lo dejo. Lo mas sorprendente de todo es el gorila que tienen fuera del establecimiento, es un maleducado y se cree el dueño del lugar. Hay que recordarles que es un restaurante y no una discoteca. Si eres español no lo recomiendo, es un sitio hecho para extranjeros (comida cara y mala). Lo único salvable las croquetas. Edito la reseña porque se me olvidó comentar lo mejor, si cenas fuera prepárate para estar rodeado de gente haciendo cola para entrar en la discoteca de al lado ( adjunto pruebas gráficas ). Resumes, NO VENGAS.
