Restaurante pequeño y acogedor en el centro de valencia. Comí magret de pato y estaba espectacular. La cocina está a la vista y la atención de los camareros es muy buena. Sitio recomendable 100%.

Platos tradicionales a la brasa de carbón, sencillos pero llenos de sabor, hechos con productos de mercado frescos. Servicio cercano y ambiente acogedor. Raciones generosas, buen precio y todo muy bien cocinado. Repetiré sin dudar, mi lugar favorito para comer bien.

El restaurante Espurnes es un local pequeño con terraza situado en una calle tranquila del centro de Valencia. Diría que es el "restaurante de siempre" pero con un menú gourmet que perfectamente podria servirse en un restaurante más pretensiones. La comida es espectacular y la atención muy buena. Ya he ido varias veces, tanto a comer el menú del día como a cenar de tapas y está todo buenísimo, recomiendo probar las patatas bravas! Estuvimos en nochevieja y el menú nos encantó: 3 entrantes (tartar de gambón, tataki de atún y vieiras) y varios segundos a elegir entre carne y pescado, estaba todo riquísimo. Recomiendo reservar con antelación.

Fuimos a comer en familia por Navidad, la comida estaba toda muy buena. Pedimos varios entrantes pero, entre ellos, quisiera destacar el pulpo con parmentier, exquisito. De plato principal pedí el cordero de paletilla recental acompañado de puré trufado, todo un acierto. Otros también pidieron arroz seco de secreto ibérico, buenísimo también. Atención muy buena. En general un restaurante al que ir a comer, probar calidad de comida y recibir una excelente atención para estar ubicado en zona céntrica.

¡Restaurante espectacular! La comida estaba buenísima, todo súper rico y bien preparado, y el trato súper cercano, se nota que disfrutan haciendo que la gente se sienta cómoda. Celebramos Nochevieja y todo fue perfecto, desde el ambiente hasta la organización, sin complicaciones, solo disfrutar de la noche. El lugar tiene un rollo muy agradable, acogedor y al mismo tiempo animado, ideal para pasar un buen rato con familia o amigos. Sin duda, para repetir seguro y recomendar a cualquiera que quiera disfrutar de una cena genial y un trato de 10.

Went there for Pinchos and drinks, modern and stylish restaurant, it was nice and quiet at the time of our visit. You get a plate, pick the pinchos you like from the bar and when you’re satisfied they count the sticks and you pay 2.8€ for each one. It both tasted and looked good. Friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommend a visit if you like Basque style tapas. We didn’t try the upstairs à la carte restaurant.

I made a reservation for Christmas Eve dinner for this place that my husband and I walk by every time. I never tried this venue because I thought it may be a tourist trap based on the location. So, I when I made a reservation for dinner, I was not aware it was this place. Boy, I was glad I did not know. There was more space at the back of the restaurant, and the staff welcomed us warmly. From the person that showed us to the table to the guy that served us. Our questions were answered and service pace was perfect. The mushrooms with egg yolk were tasty. The leeks as starters were light and tasty. The taste of the suckling pig with ratatouille made me smile. Yes, it reminded me of the times I had lechon (roasted pig) in my native country. Tender, and tasty, and the ratatouille was a perfect combination. The monkfish was light and delicious, and served with the jowl skeleton. Amazing. The apple tart with ice cream was a great finish for this wonderful meal. I have seen other items on the menu that I would try when I return on another day because I am not done. Bravo.

Very tourist oriented but good… Service and atmosphere: Service was good and attractive. You can order in English too. The restaurant was nicely organised and clean. Good music and vibe all around. Food and drinks: Food was good. More elevated traditional Spanish dishes. Comes with the price increase though. You can find very good Spanish dishes selections two blocks down for half the price. I will review those places in my other reviews so stay tuned. This restaurant offers good selection of alcoholic beverages. Pricing: $$$ - catered towards tourists based on the location.

Do yourself a favor and stop by here for dinner of you visit Valencia. The food is excellent (try the squid stewed in it's own ink!), the wine even better and the service is wonderful. When in doubt about the many wonderful dishes to choose, the friendly staff will be more than happy to advise you. Definitely a must visit!

While from the street this looks like a tapas bar, there is a dining room within and on the second floor. We opted for a full lunch and selected the warm autumn salad, grilled squid, and suckling pig. Note: the squid is market priced based on the size. All items were expertly cooked, seasoned well, and elegantly presented.

Dinner at ORIO València was a highlight of our trip to Spain, and one of the best meals I’ve experienced. We had their tasting menu, which included exceptional calamari, easily the best mussels I’ve ever eaten, and a steak cooked to absolute perfection. Luis and Maria went out of their way to make this an unforgettable evening for us, and getting to see the Islamic dynasty era wall under the restaurant afterwards was amazing

Always a good place for a quick lunch or aperitive. We've known Orio for many years and every time we reach Valencia we never miss a visit there. Nice atmosphere, interesting tapas, good service and i'ts just in the city center. A must go-to place for a typical Valencian pinchos in a stylish place.

Encontramos el sitio de casualidad paseando por las fallas, justo tenían sitio y cenamos allí varios. Pedimos dos entrantes y tres platos principales, una cosa nada que ver con la otra. Los entrantes muy reducidos de tamaño para el precio y calidad que tienen. El calamar muy escaso y sin más, las bravas una invención demasiado extraña a la que le falta sabor por todos lados. Los entrantes la verdad que muy deficientes, ahora bien, las carnes bastante buenas. Tanto el pato, entrecot como el cordero con buen sabor y buena cantidad. Por eso digo, si vas a por los platos principales bien, pero los entrantes no los recomiendo. Recalcar que el precio por persona es una poco excesivo.

Cenamos anoche 5 personas, y todo bien, le pedí recomendación de algo que tuviera que pedir si o si y me sorprendió que me dijera que las patatas, estaban buenas si, pero creo que la carne o el arroz no deberían de pasar por alto.. el pulpo aunque estaba bueno me pareció escaso. Pero todo estaba muy bien. Por poner alguna pega siempre para mejorar es la actitud del camarero que algunas veces se me hacía demasiado serio y otras veces muy cercano… no se me pareció como no saber cómo actuar. Aún así seguro que repetimos. Muchas gracias

So many options of pintxos to choose from. The staff was super helpful in explaining how to order and what each item was. You grab a plate and grab whatever pintxo you want. When it comes time to pay, they’ll count out your toothpicks and charge you per piece. I believe it was 2.80€ each. We also got a vermouth which was really strong for 4.5€. The pintxos were fresh and tasty. I particularly like the spicy pickled peppers with anchovy and olives. My second favorite was the salmon and butter with a little marinated onions. The pork pate was one also good. The sardine with red peppers was too light in flavors.

Restaurante céntrico y bien atendido. Comimos con reserva previa seis personas. Íbamos con expectativas altas a probar el arroz en "llanda" y no salimos plenamente satisfechos. Probamos el de carabineros (sin sabor alguno) y el de pluma en el que se precibía más el sabor del arroz. La ensaldilla de entrante fantástica y el calamar de playa, muy normalito. Para mi gusto , restaurante sobrevalorado. Servicio atento. Comedor muy mejorable.

Fuimos a comer un domingo y pese a estar en el centro no estaba muy concurrido y se estaba bien. El lugar es pequeño pero se estaba tranquilo en el interior. En resumen, ubicación guay! Tanto el servicio como la comida fueron buenas. Pedimos ensalada de tomate, un brioche y el arroz de presa. Estaba rico pero la presa un poco seca y quizá el precio por ración de arroz un poco elevado. Para beber 2 cervezas sin alcohol y 1 agua. Y para finalizar dos cafés espresso y tarta de queso. Salimos a 75€ los dos.

The atmosphere is very good, stylish restaurant. The stuff was friendly and good-looking. The food was mediocre. I personally didn’t like the taste at all, but It looked like good quality. Unfortunately no vegan option. 2,50 € a piece of tapas. You can take the tapas on your own and they count the tooth picks at the end.

Fui directamente desde el aeropuerto a este restaurante porque lo encontré online con muy buenas reseñas (que sinceramente no entiendo). Pedí la corvina y no tenía ningún parecido ni con la descripción del menú ni con la foto. Por 18€ me sirvieron aproximadamente 50 gramos de pescado, 100 gramos de patatas y literalmente medio litro de aceite. Totalmente desproporcionado y muy decepcionante en relación calidad-precio. El camarero fue amable, eso sí, pero cometió errores al hacer la cuenta, lo cual empeoró aún más la experiencia. En general, una gran decepción. No lo recomendaría.

I would like to give a 0,0 Stars, but unfortunately it is not possible. Be aware of biggest scum. As a tourist you hardly can guess how they will treat you. Our hotel made a reservation for us and the Reception girl brought us upstairs. Wenn we asked her that we would like to have tapas as starter, which we saw downstairs, we got an answer that ....tapas are not allowed for the reservation guests. So far so good, but wenn we opened the menu, we understood that we have very little choice. My friend ordered crockets as starters for 15 Euros and spare ribs as a main dish for 24. I had a txistorra de orio for 8 and peppers for 12...Ribs were the worst we ever saw: unbelievably fat and with a spoon of smashed potatoes. My peppers were ok, but the waiter could warn me that they are much too small and too less. As a result we paid 71 euros and stayed hungry. If I save with my Feedback at least one person from wasting money and time there, I feel better. Take care and avoid such experience. Regards, Liliya
