To be honest, I do not understand the other reviews🤷🏻 The place looks awesome, staff is very friendly and attentive and speaks English (enough). And then they bring the food: absolutely amazing. I was not able to make pictures of all the meals, because some of it vanished before I picked up the camera. Paella was the best I ever had, no questions asked. I definitely recommend this restaurant!!!

This was my favourite meal of my whole trip! They fit us in as a table of 6 upstairs. Our waiter (Erik) was so friendly, kind and welcoming. His service was great and he made sure we were satisfied at all times! The food was incredible. I had the most tasty burger in a long time. All food was so well presented that I just had to take pictures! The prices were mid range (the same as the other restaurants we’d been to in the centre of Valencia). Only since writing this review have I seen that the restaurant has some recent poor reviews. Our experience was entirely different and I guess it goes to show the importance of making up your own mind!

This place is an absolute steal. The menu of the day is 20 euros and features 3 starters, a main course, and dessert. The food is very good although some of the dishes are a little too salty but overall not a big deal. There's also an open bar for another 10 euros which I've never seen before. The servers are friendly and welcoming, the food comes out pretty quickly too so no long waits. Overall a great option for dining in the old town.

The staff is polite and nice, speaks English, and is familiar with the menu. The food was delicious, and the price for that amount and quality is fair. A good restaurant to have dinner/lunch in a good and pleasant atmosphere!

Good food for even better price. Although the waiters outside can be a bit annoying, staff is really friendly and offer well-priced menu (5 dishes to 7 dishes). Understanding of gluten free. Red wine of the house is nice (and only 13€), and would also really recommend the patatas bravas here. Don't know if the portion will differ when ordered separately (as not-menu price then is €8,5,....), But in the menu they were great! For €8,50 don't know if I still would recommend it as that would be way to expensive for this portion size. I'd really recommend takin the bar libre, the open bar, for only 6 euros. You can pick almost any drink you like during the 5-7 dishes menu, which is a not-understandable great deal! We really liked the staff here who serves the food and the location is great as well. Please don't hesitate and have a lunch / dinner here!

I came here for lunch at 5pm on a Sunday and the kitchen was still open while the majority of the other restaurants were closed. We were two and we both took a menu. We thought that everyone has one entrance, instead they brought us the 3 possible entrances! Then we took a paella valenciana and it was amazingly delicious. I recommend 100%

Restaurante en Buena Ubicación El restaurante se beneficia de una ubicación excelente y un ambiente acogedor, y el servicio es un punto a favor, ya que los camarer@s son amables y atentos. Sin embargo, la experiencia culinaria no cumplió completamente mis expectativas. Aunque las fotos del menú invitan a probar sus platos, en mi caso, las paellas no estuvieron a la altura. Tanto el sabor como el grano del arroz me parecieron regulares, lo que podría ser aceptable para alguien que come paellas ocasionalmente, pero creo que pueden dedicarle más tiempo a perfeccionarlas. En contraste, los entrantes sí que sobresalen. El tomate con burrata y las patatas bravas estaban bastante buenos, ideales para picar y disfrutar mientras esperas el plato principal. En definitiva, se nota el potencial del restaurante: buena ubicación, servicio cordial y entrantes sabrosos, aunque sería interesante ver una mejora en la elaboración de las paellas para ofrecer una experiencia gastronómica más completa.

Sitio favorito para tomar una paella en condiciones en el centro, al lado mismo de la basílica de la mareta. Pero no sé si han cambiado de dueño pero la paella estaba demasiado salada, sin casi verdura y mucho caldo preparado. Fui con mis sobrinas y comimos tres menús. Estábamos solas... Eso fue llamativo La comida estaba buena

Al principio parecía todo bien, pero estuvimos esperando mucho por unos entrantes, lo cual nos molesto. Pero debo de admitir que el chico que nos atendió fue muy amable y pidió disculpas porque de normal no suelen tardar tanto. Pero valió la pena esperar: los entrantes muy ricos La paella de pato rica pero le faltaba un toque de sal, pero tenía mucho sabor El entrecot exquisito La pasta tal vez fue la única que no nos gustó mucho, pero todo lo demás muy rico.

Sábado por la noche, la comida estuvo buena, la paella muy rica, con un tiempo de espera normal y la atención pongo 4 estrellas por el chico de gafas ucraniano, ya que los demás chicos no tenían experiencia y estaban como cansados o aburridos de trabajar (que si fuera por ellos pondría 3), la próxima que vuelva Valencia, repetiremos

La paella muy buena. La ensalada un poco escasa. La cerveza carísima. El restaurante demasiado abarrotado de mesas.

We were here for dinner and it was Okay. It could have been better. They have a menu with 3 courses for 25€ p.p which is amazing. The starts and the desert were incredible. We have chosen this option and it was good. The service is okay, but definitely it can be improved. They forgot to send us the starters and then after 35 minutes of waiting they sent the main course that was the moment they realized we hadn't got our starts. They sent the main course back(Paella Valenciana), to the kitchen and brought us the starter, which was really good. Highly recommend it. Later on, the main course came back to the table, but it wasn't the best, maybe it was the way it was, but the vegetables and rice tasted burned. I was expecting something very nice since it is The main dish around Valencia. I will definitely come back and try it again to see if my experience will be different. Overall I recommend them.

They have daily menu and degustation menu both for 19.90€. I would recommend to go with degustation as squids as appetizer and meat as main course were delicious. Paella on the other hand not so great. But overall good value for money

Pagamos 20 € por una reserva para cenar en Nochevieja. Nos confirmaron la mesa a las 20:30, llegamos puntuales, nos dejaron esperar y aun así nos dijeron que no tenían la mesa para nosotros en el restaurante. Por esos 20 € de nuestra reserva, el manager nos paseó de un restaurante a otro: el primero lleno, el segundo también y recién en un cuarto restaurante, después de caminar bastante, nos aceptaron. Como “compensación”, solo nos dijo que nos iba a ofrecer una cerveza gratis... Una experiencia muy mal gestionada. Así no queríamos terminar la última cena del año...

Cute atmosphere in a great location, but honestly there are better spots for Paella. Our group ordered the Paella Valenciana and 2 appetizers, we all shared the portions equally and yet somehow didn't feel full. The calamari was great, I'd definitely recommend it. The Paella however was quite average, the taste doesn't match the price ( which is unfortunately overpriced). Good service and a fun spot for people watching.

the restaurant looks very inviting. the staff was rather less fluent with tourists (english). there were four of us and we ordered pasta (seafood and carbonara). unfortunately i can't recommend the carbonara (badly seasoned and not authentic either). they skimped on the quality of the ingredients, i think. unfortunately the same with the seafood pasta. i would like to come back and try another dish, but that will definitely not be the case as we still saw cockroaches.

Pedimos el tartar de salmón y al rato nos dijeron que por pedir en The Fork no les iba bien hacerlo “en ese momento”, pedimos otra cosa por no discutir, pero si no quieren tener toda la carta en oferta que no se oferten en The Fork como tal. Luego pedimos paella de rape y gambones. Venían dos gambones para dos personas, cuando el precio de la paella es de 20€/pp, nos ha parecido muy escueto. No sé si si vienes sin la oferta te ponen más materia prima, pero en nuestro caso se ha quedado muy corto. Finalmente no nos han dejado pagar a través de la aplicación, lo que no permite acumular puntos en la app y perder descuentos, han dicho que no se podía, pero por mi experiencia en otros restaurantes sé que sí que se puede, solo que no han querido. Considero que no deberían estar ofertados en The Fork porque dejan mucho que desear.

Menú muy bueno pero la clavada con las consumiciones han sido de escándalo. Si paras ahí consulta los precios antes de entrar, puedes gastar máscon tres cervezas que en el menú Me han sacado la cuenta y el datáfono antes que el postre y el café. Lastima de lo bien que empieza la comida y lo mal que termina.

The food was really good (but fried squid after one hour of waiting still had sand inside meaning it wasn't washed properly) but after ordering we had to wait around one hour for food to arrive. Tha batatas fritas were very delicious. Then they didn't even have few things on the menu. They had enough orange juice for one cup but not for more. Staff was also pushy. They forced ice bucket on us even after we told them no. As soon as the glasses or bottles are near the end they can't wait to take the dishes away. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

Poor service, we fell for their offer which should've been a sign as a tourist trap but we were in a rush and didn't feel fussy. The chef or one of the waiters was awful and the other the opposite. We ordered a veggie paella and then noticed chicken skin, the guy took it out using a fork then picked it up using his fingers to inspect right in front of us before chucking into the bin. He then explained how it shouldn't have happened but tried to discourage us from ordering a new dish. He was also annoyed at how much we asked to have as part of our unlimited sangria offer - wouldn't recommend as was just sugar. Don't go here unless everywhere else booked.

No soy de escribir reseñas pero esta vez sí que la quería escribir, ya que me pareció fatal que cuando terminamos de comer, nos dijeran que si queríamos volver había un menú de 19,90 euros a lo que le respondí: entonces por qué no me lo habéis dicho hoy antes de pedir los platos? Y como excusa me dijeron que venía de parte The Fork. Cuando tú reservas en The Fork te hacen un descuento en platos, pero tienes la opción de no quererla y elegir menú, y no me lo dijeron, Tuve que incluso preguntar yo si había descuento. Con esa actitud dan a entender que al cliente le quieren cobrar lo máximo pósible evitando descuentos, promociones y menús. Me pareció un engaño total, y sin entrar en dilemas de que el entrecote no es de los mejores que he probado ya que estaba bastante duro y las patatas también. Lo siento, pero no recomiendo ir.

Un desastre el lugar. Pedimos una fideua y pasados 40 min, preguntamos y claramente se habían olvidado. Nos trajeron unas patatas para compensar y pasados 15 min más nos trajeron la fideua. La misma era de pollo, jamón y alcachofa. Resulta que no tenía jamón y pollo eran puros huesos sin carne. También habíamos pedido pan con tomate que nunca trajeron y nos intentaron cobrar. Le preguntamos por el jamón y nos dijo que parece que no estaba y que nos iba a traer aparte y no lo trajeron. No vengan a malgastar si dinero a este lugar. Es un verdadero desastre.

Bastante mal, la comida no estaba mal pero muy cara relacion calidad precio, la atencion de 2 camaderos dejaba mucho que desear, hemos pedido unas raciones,hemos comido rapido porque no teniamos mucho tiempo, cuando hemos llegado no nos han informado pero cuando hemos terminado las raciones, nos ha dicho que tenian una reserva. Hemos recogido rapido y al salir hemos dicho hasta luego gracias y nos han respondido hasta nunca, he preguntuntado ¿nos habeis dicho hata nu ca? Y un compañiero ha dicho, si parece que es lo que ha dicho. Alucinante.

Nos cobraron 12 euros por dos jarras de agua del grifo. Al momento de cobrar dijeron que era agua botellada (servida en jarra). Trampa para turistas. Intentaron cobrarnos un Agua de Valencia que no consumimos. La comida está bien, pero uno de los platos llegó a la mesa 30 minutos después del resto. La atención fue mala y poco agradable.

Empezamos el servicio. Pedimos pan mientras llega la última persona, no nos lo sacaron porque nos dijeron que mejor cuando llegue la última, y le habíamos dicho claramente que queríamos comer eso mientras llegaba la última. El camarero que nos tomó nota, fatal, super antipático y contentando de manera negativa y cortante. Pedimos. Llegan las croquetas, las cuales nos habían dicho que eran caseras, y evidentemente no, estaban congeladas. Luego las bravas, que habíamos pedido con salsa aparte, nos las han puesto normales, y al decírselo y traer la otra ración rectificada, había la mitad de cantidad. Los calamares a feira estaban buenos, aunque el puré de patata sabía demasiado a mantequilla. Las gambas estaban completamente crudas por dentro, entonces hemos pedido que nos las hagan más, y las han quemado, así no nos quejábamos seguro. El queso en tempura muy bueno, pero poca cantidad de mermelada para todo el queso. La paella, para guiris. Hecha con caldo, entonces muy fuerte de sabor. La paella era de solomillo, habas baby y ajos tiernos, los ajos tiernos inexistentes, las habas no eran baby, eran extra size, adjunto fotos. El arroz estilo meloso, no paella. Por último, me gustaría recalcar lo mejor, y tristemente, de las únicas cosas con las que estamos satisfechas. La atención de Giovanni, el camarero que nos atendió la mayoría del tiempo, un 10. Todo genial, muy amable, sonriente y sobretodo, interesado en nuestra opinión sobre el servicio recibido.

A very bad experience, the restaurant was empty (this should had be a sgn) all the food and drink is overpriced. We had carbonara that had nothing to do with it, it had heavy cream and parsley and a very smelly onion. Also some iberic pork with vegetable and noodles that was very but very oily. This is definitely a tourist trap. Do not eat here. The staff was very ok , that is the only plus.

1,30 hour waiting before getting our food!! We ordered salmon with Thai vegetables (supposed to be fast) and we got a bit of salmon with mashed potatoe without any taste. This restaurant is really a low level food, low level service, and a mess. The team in the kitchen was so disorganised that the plates were prepared by the servers, this is not acceptable in terms of hygiene and quality of the plates! There are so many good restaurants in Valencia, this one is a touristic place that impacts Valencia reputation. And Fallas can’t be an excuse, others are totally able to manage traffic while ensuring high level service and food. I don’t like blaming, you can check my profile is real and I very rarely put bad reviews - but I don’t like being scammed.
