Very nice restaurant with friendly staff good food. Available by water or vehicle on the backwater. Clean cozy environment inside or outside with a view of the water & docks. The restrooms are clean as well as the fountain drink station. Ordered the grouper plate with sides although good I don't believe it was really grouper. The waitress brought my dish to me and said "catfish with sides?" I replied that I had ordered grouper, then she said it was grouper. It appeared to me that it was either flounder or catfish. The convenience store has a good variety of goods including t-shirts etc.

we are thrilled to have this amazing new addition to Lake Harding…The BEST customer service, friendly and attentive., great beer and wine selection. Food is cooked to perfection and was quickly served. oh and the atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩🤩🤩

First time here. Came with a few friends who had a boat and pulled right up to the dock to eat..lol... Looks like a simple gas station from the road but what a cute restaurant. Order as soon as you walk in, sit down and they bring the food. Good thing we got there as soon as the doors opened on Friday cuz they got packed within an hour! Had grouper sandwich with fries and 2 whole fried catfish with 2 sides and 2 waters, $40ish. Food is very good and staff was so nice and really felt down home! Definitely would go back!

They had a live band the night we went, which was nice to sit on the deck listen. The food service was a little slow. We just got a salad and some boneless wings. Salad was large. I would recommend sharing.

The whole catfish had a great taste and were fried to perfection. The hush puppies probably would have been good, but they were doughy in the middle. Other sides (collards, mashed potatoes, cheese grits, fries) were average. Great atmosphere with a beautiful view of the lake.

We ordered wings and they needed a little more cook time. Hamburger was great. Chicken wrap was a not good .it was smashed like a penne sandwich.

This establishment is extremely unwelcoming and toxic. I have been here to eat multiple times, and these poor high school students are constantly being screamed and cussed at in front of their customers and the owners do not care. There is also this red head older woman who I have personally witnessed cuss at these young girls that are serving the food in front of children and customers and nothing has ever been done about it. This is ridiculous behavior and they need to go bankrupt and get some help to be better people. Do not eat here and support their behavior.

I left feeling heartbroken and deeply frustrated after being refused service simply because of my dairy allergy—despite offering several reasonable suggestions so I could safely eat with everyone. We even asked if a plain piece of chicken could be cooked in a separate pan instead of on the grill to avoid any possible dairy, but the response was cold and dismissive: “Due to legal reasons, we suggest you eat somewhere else" and that was that. No effort to accommodate, no alternatives offered—just exclusion. I sat there humiliated and upset while the rest of my family ate the food we had already ordered.( it was over $100) It was incredibly isolating and made me feel like an afterthought over something that could’ve been handled with a little care and compassion. Every other restaurant I have ever been to has help accommodate. All of them. Do better. Those of us with allergies deserve dignity and corporation, not dismissal.

My Family & I ordered two large pizzas for carry out. One was supposed to have had extra sauce the other pizza just regular sauce. When my Wife brought them home both of the pizzas had NO SAUCE PERIOD. I counted 8 pieces of sausage the size of a pencil eraser on a large pizza. We spent over $42.00 for something that went straight to the trash can. I called to find out how in the world someone could EVER forget to put sauce on pizzas!!! The male owner I spoke to was very rude & refused to answer my question & offered no resolution to the issue & told me to keep my Family & Myself out of Backwaters. I hope & pray one day this place closes & this man is left bankrupt. Don’t waste your time nor money here!!! I don’t recommend any hardworking American buying anything from this place.This guy was yelling & screaming at me over the phone & I could clearly hear these young high school employees in the background listening to every word this man was screaming at me. Look at the FINE example of a business man this is!!! He must be proud of himself to set such a perfect example for our young teenagers today. There was no profanity on my part. This guy started yelling immediately. This response is completely false & is no excuse for negligence on forgetting to put sauce on TWO different pizzas. It seems these Owners that last name starts with a G has the other owners Buffaloed. One of the descent owners should buy these people out before they bankrupt this restaurant. S Taylor, Jr.

First time we’ve been in a while — but always great EXCEPT tonight. Went with another couple. They ordered and then we ordered. Friends got their food and ten minutes later one of us got ours. 10 more minutes and we asked about one meal and the young lady said she’d check. After 5 minutes she said the kitchen was backed up. 15 more minutes I asked again and was told just a few more minutes. By then friends had finished their meal and one of them went to counter and asked about it— to one of the grown women and she said they’re working on it. 5 more minutes and we stopped one of the girls and just said to fix it to go IF they had started on it yet. 2 minutes later they brought it to table in to-go plate/bag. Got home and put first bite in my mouth and had to spit it out. I had ordered WELL DONE hamburger steak… and the inside was cold and red - bloody. Not rare - but raw. The top of it was covered with gravy so I couldn’t tell if the side facing up had actually been near the grill or whatever they cook on. But the bottom side was pink like they just patted it out. Being that whoever was in charge never contacted me or our group and apologize for us waiting 45 minutes for my food was poor customer service. The table next to us had someone who ordered hamburger steak AFTER us and they got theirs about the time our friends got theirs. I am so disappointed in the way all of this was handled. I have managed a restaurant and would never ever have let a customer leave without offering some type of apology. I wasn’t looking for anything free (seen that too many times over the years), but just some acknowledgment from someone in charge.
